NOW! I am still allowing PMing as long as it is RESPECTFUL! If you guys do anything like what those assholes did to me in the previous story, immediate block. No warning, nothing. Immediate block is what you get when you decide to be an asshole. Ahem, don't be afraid of lengthy comments, I tend to enjoy those the most and I do hope you all enjoy this story.

UA

Sherlock watched as the Cavalry Battle went on before him, he saw a myriad of ways that each of the teams could get the number one headband; but the main team was indeed smart in getting them to fight one another while staying in the air as long as possible.

Though his teammates were strange for sure.

Well, it was expected of Mae; she was an eccentric one for sure. Boy...did they regret allowing her to work with Da Vinci at times.

Curse his master for sending him off the Island to watch this accursed festival of children doing nothing more than peacocking around...though the fact he was caught with his...eh-hem, medicines, this was the lesser of two evils. It's not like he was caught by those scientists...but still...

Lord help him from the boredom of this worlds 'rehab'.

"Sooo!" Sherlock dodged the arm that went to slam around his shoulder, sighing as the woman laughed with glee. "You thinking about taking an intern or two? For Chaldea?"

"As we have stated before," he gave a side glance to Miruko. "Chaldea does not take Interns, Sidekicks or other heroes from agencies or fresh out of school. And I dare say it's a bit hypocritical for you to ask me such a thing...when you don't do the same thing."

"Ahahahah!" The hero laughed uproariously as she moved to sling her arm around him again.

"You got guts! I will admit that!" She didn't seem deterred that he dodged again.

"I feel as if I am merely accustomed to people such as you...Chaldea does have such characters as you," he smirked as the woman gave a manic grin.

"Now that sounds fun...anyway me and you can have a spar," she asked as Sherlock sighed.

"I'm not a combative hero-"

"Bullshit! I saw you during the raid on the gang in Shinjuku a while back," she smirked. "They where all bruised and bleeding by the time you where finished with them!"

"So?"

"Let's have a fight! Me and You! Come on!"

"That is an exhaustive request that I am unfortunately going to have to decline," he shot her down with ease. "As you can tell we are in a bit of bind when it comes to our public image and-"

A ringing went off that had the man stopping, reaching for his pocket where his phone was going off. He answered without even asking who it could be.

"Holmes….Pepe? It's rare for you to acknowledge me nowadays, much less call me….What? No, we have no such intentions….Oh, you're speaking of the people...They did what?...Capture them and interrogate them! I do not care if they are civilians they broke into the Indian Agency! You said one got into the records room. Put them in confinement and make sure everything is still there...I'll call the Director….Thank you."

Holme shung up, looking nervous and uncertain as he clutched his phone.

"So...they finally snapped and broke in huh," a hero called out with a laugh. "To be honest we all expected it sooner!"

"Chaldea had over 100 personnel, not heroes, once upon a time. Twice we've been raided and of that 100 only 10, not including the director and the vice...are still there," he snapped, the hero quieted down. "So we have lost a lot more than you think," he hissed. "Do not take our coldness as something we are always like."

"Hey...I just...how could we know," the hero scoffed. "You don't report anything-"

'You don't," Holmes assured. "No one can, which is why there is decorum in open places such as this that must be upheld. A shame that it's not common sense." He turned his nose up to the hero who felt like a scolded child.

"Dick move man," Miruko huffed as the buzzer announcing the end went off.

"I will be at the Chaldean Cafe we opened should anyone wish to speak to me, and trust when I say I would wish it not," Holmes inclined his head before heading out. "A very good day to you all."

The door closed with a resounding thud.

OUTSIDE UA STADIUM

"Hello! Welcome to The Round Cafe," Bedivere called as a mass of people began to line up for a seat. "Please note we have limited seating and time slots available for everyone! Now, Table for 2?"

It was a mess of buzzing people and phones as they began to take photos and videos of the area they were in at the moment.

"Hello Ladies. I am your butler for this afternoon," Gawain smiled as he approached his table. "Have you found anything that you fancy, or do the ladies need another moment?"

It was like that for all the tables, being waited on hand and foot like they were real lords and ladies. The Water Hose duo were smiling as they looked around, dressed up as a Butler and Maid. They rushed to get out drinks and desserts to the patrons when ordered.

On the side of the room was a door leading to the area where you could buy into the raffle for the prizes and even purchase ahead of time Chaldean Fest Tickets if you didn't want to enter the raffle for the event.

"Heya! Monoma! Take a break why don't you," Kintoki said as he handled another purchase. "You've been at this since the first event."

"I know but that was only 2 hours ago," the boy stated, handing a man his ticket for Chaldea Fest.

"Go on ahead and get something to eat in the back! Enma san makes a lot of food for us so go ahead," the Golden hero smiled as he ushered the boy back. "We can handle things here."

"Kay," Monoma nodded as he closed his station and headed into the back where some delicious food was waiting along with someone else. "I thought you were in the cavalry battle Itsuka."

"I was...but I got knocked out," she sighed. "I decided to do some clean up for Chaldea. Hired me to keep the stuff in the back nice and clean."

"Keep you away from the vultures for sure," Monoma sighed, grabbing a plate of sushi before plopping down beside the girl. "It's been rough out there selling tickets."

"I saw the line," she smiled. "Lots of people seem to want to go to Chaldea Fest!"

"Yeah...but there's also those nuts that are trying to buy up all the tickets to prevent people from going and those that are yelling in my face about how Chaldea is the end of heroism and good people in general…"

"Sounds rough," the girl whistled as the sound of yelling broke through the wall separating them.

"YOU BASTARDS THINK THAT MAKING AN EVENT TO UPSTAGE UA IS A WAY TO MAKE PEOPLE LIKE YOU!?

"Get him out of here please," Kintoki called out. "Sir, your scaring children-"

'THAT'S YOUR GUY'S JOB!"

"Kintoki is no doubt this close," Itsuka pinched her fingers together. "Decking the man."

"Probably!"

"So...Chaldea decided to be nice and all those that are working for them during the sports festival get to go to the Chaldean fest and if they get in through the raffle for the Dead Heat they can use it as plus one," Itsuka began. "It's really driven up revenue that's going to help with the Indian Agency."

"I heard about that in passing…"

"Some man who runs it...Scandinavia...that's his name I swear," Itsuka laughed at Monoma's look. "He works directly for them and is a friend of his too...he took quite the beating to make sure all the heroes got out."

"I heard the Indian Agency has some pretty...violent? People," Monoma asked. "Like this one dude who always says 'Now im getting pissed off!' and another one who is always trying to fight his half brother I think?"

'Yeah...and now the dudes under review because he nearly killed a man who got too close to the records room,'' Itsuka whispered. "Apparently someone did get in and Chaldea is holding him in confinement at the moment."

'They are allowed privacy...I mean look at the commissions…" Monoma grunted. "What makes it so bad that Chaldea is doing exactly what they would do?"

"I know and Russia was nearly hit until a wall of ice created by the Grand Duchess of Ice, Anastasia stopped them," she sighed. "The man, Kadoc, went on a public online rant that basically called out the Commissions for trying to get into their agencies...it's getting out of hand. Apparently this is the first time they've actually tried to force their way in. "

"It's made worse by the fact that the director won't come forward...I heard his name is Kirsch...something."

"It's all a lie. They made that name up to stop people at the time but during I-Expo the director is said to reveal himself," Itsuka nodded as she took the sashimi handed to her. "He has no other choice at the moment, with all that's going on. The divide amongst those who support and are against Chaldea is getting ugly too."

"I...I hope things don't change here though," Monoma murmured. "I...I don't want Fujimaru sensei to be fired…by Chaldea or UA"

"Me either….me neither."

HOSU

"Patrols huh," Izo asked as he and Tensei walked the streets of Hosu. "Haven't done much of this…"

"I've heard of your reputation," Tensei coughed, the two drawing attention on the basis of Izo being...well Chaldean. "You're the shadier side of things huh?"

"I guess so," he shrugged. "If you call cutting down the bad guys the shadier side then I guess I am," he gave another helpless shrug before plopping down on a bench that they stopped by. "I mean...Bad Guys by my standard at least."

"You have a sense of justice now," Tensei asked as Hajimae reported through text.

"I guess," Izo shrugged. "Not one to think about it really. Just follow the master's orders without too much thought. I like it that way."

'Does your director not listen to you," Tensei asked, feeling weird calling the man a master.

"Nah, he does. He always has listened to our bitching and complaints, been taken advantage of multiple times by other heroes we have but he always forgives them," he sniffed. "I heard that one time someone staged a coup and when he was defeated his punishment was cleaning the master's room! For a coup!"

"Did...Did anyone die?"

'Nah, just got the shit beaten out of them and put on probation for a month," the man shrugged. "Master just recently started doing rough punishments. But that's because we always try to antagonize you people," he grinned as Tensei sweat-dropped. "Its not like where actually going to do anything, but eh," he gave a 'what can you do' look and shrug. "It's not like we get along."

'Well-" he stumbled to a stop when Izo jumped up, looking positively wild as he looked from left to right.

"He's here...I sense him," he feral grinned before steadying his sword and taking off.

"W..WAIT!" Tensei yelped as he rushed after the other man. "We need to call your back up-"

'Screw them! This is my prey," Izo laughed out loud as he continued rushing down the street, pushing others out of the way as he did so. "He thinks he can take my spot? Can he be like me in this era?! Bull shit!"

'What...what is Izo talking about...now that I think about it...his name sounds very familiar,' Tensei thought as he followed the crazed man. As they passed an alley Tensei sensed pure unfiltered bloodlust that was similar to Izo's and skidded to a stop. His training took over and he rushed into the alley, forgetting to inform Izo as he headed straight into the darkened alley.

"I've found you! Hero Killer!"

"Tch.."

Tensei didn't know what happened, one moment he was facing the hero killer the next the man was suddenly behind him, ready to strike and possibly end his career. Then a clang of metal, a resounding laugh and the force of a push had him turning to see that Izo had blocked the attack, pushing Stain back closer to the entrance of the alley.

"Hey Hero Killer, names Izo..Okada Izo," he grinned, resting his blade on his shoulder as the villain took a stance. "The hell you are doing, taking my place in history...there should only be one man slayer!"

"You admit to being a villain before a hero," Stain growled. "I can smell it...I smell the blood of innocents on you!"

"I never said I was a hero. Chaldea doesn't care so long as you do your job. I owe master everything...I owe him my life and by damn Kami I will fucking do everything to serve him," Izo breathed, smile full of teeth as he moved to lower his sword. "Hajime. Erice. Stay out of my way."

"Izo-san," Erice began, holding her spear tightly in her hands.

"Oi, this wasn't the plan Izo!" Hajimae demanded as he stepped forward before Izo growl stopped him.

"I don't give a damn! He's mine! I won't kill him, but I will maim him," Izo yelled, rushing to the man who met back with equal force.

"False...your all false heroes!"

"What the fuck do you know about heroism? Heroism isn't about being a damn golden boy it's about the end deed. Whatever you do to get there is all jackshit in the end when the deed is done," Izo mocked, he wheezed when a knife slammed into his middle before giving another toothy grin. "Lets go. I'll show you what it means to be a man slayer.."

"I will destroy all Chaldean Heroes!"

"Like shit you will."

NABU ISLAND

"Hello there," the grey haired man smiled as he faced the Berserker of Avalon le Fae.

"Who are you," she demanded.

"Call me Saber of Templar," he smiled as the others behind him shifted. "Where here to look fro the grail piece. We think it's here on Nabu Island. We plan to give it to Chaldea, but we need a bit more freedom then you all have," he informed them.

"Ho?" Fairy Knight Tristan hummed as she got up from her spot next to her mother. "And how do we know your telling the truth?"

"Because those two have a deep connection to Chaldea, even if they have never been summoned."

The Ruler and Blue haired Saber approached, the women noticing the blue haired one immediately.

"You must be the younger version of the Hound of Chulainn...Setanta is your name now, correct," Morgan asked as she stood up from her throne.

"Yeah," he nodded. "My four other selves are devoted to master and even if I am only a saber, I am too devoted to him; even through the residual bond I am loyal."

"And you are," Barghest demanded of the white haired Ruler.

"I am Moses...my brother is Ozymandias," he bowed. "My brother and I, though enemies later in life, adore and love another as family. I will never betray him unless god wills it and God has allowed me a chance to come back and help him in his noble pursuit."

"Well," Baobhan sighed. "At least he might end his bragging about his cute younger brother," she hummed as she watched the Ruler go bright red.

'Brother," he hissed to himself, ignoring the sniggers from his companions behind him. "I am sorry...he tends to go overboard…"

"He made demands of master in original Chaldea I've heard," Morgan began. "Of having a room to himself and transforming half of it into a Iseralites traveling dream. He asked David to make rugs and tapestries that you might like."

"I'm going to murder him," Moses whined into his hands as everyone watched his whole body turn red.

"And you two," Melsuine demanded, eyes narrowed. "I can sense something familiar about you...Saber of Templar."

"Ahaha. I do have a Foreigner version of myself...here…"

"Jacques de Molay," Barghest stated, the man shrugging as he pushed his glasses up and gave them a cheeky smile with a wave.

"Indeed," he gave a sheepish laugh. "I...am a bit...ahem, uncomfortable to think of myself in such a state. Not to mention contracting myself with an outer god! Lord above, one can only wonder what that version of me was thinking...ahahaha…."

"Technically you are the real Jacques, and she is the very embodiment of your accused crimes and false legends," Morgan shrugged as he deflated. "You'd have to ask master, he's more aware of the finer details of such a thing."

"Still, it's weird," he whined, deflating even more as their last member came forward.

"So you where the one who fought that man before me," he smirked, Morgan seizing up as she stared at the saber before her.

'I see that both my brother and sister where right to attempt to end you...I can sense your blood thirsty aura...like a rabid dog," she spat, the man's crazed eyes never leaving her icy ones as her daughter shifted beside her

"Who...who is he?" She whispered, she was afraid of this man.

"Me," he barked out, laughter on the tip of his tongue as she approached the throne. Morgan quickly pushed Baobhan behind her as he drew closer. "Asking about little old me?"

"Either speak your name or go stand outside like a good rabid dog while the people speak," she spat, the man flicking his eyes to her before smirking as taking a step back.

"The Sword Emperor...Lucius Tiberius...know where I can find Arthur? I'd like a spar as a thank you for the last battle we had."

"Tch...Blood Thirsty Dog," Morgan spat. "Arthur and I, even Arthuria, have are differences but we all agree you are nothing more than a rabid dog looking for the thrill of killing!"

"Heh…"

"I knew it was a bad idea to bring him with us," Setanta sighed, crossing his arms as tension began to spark around them.

It was going to be one long afternoon.

I ISLAND

"Umm...where...where's Ritsuka," Melissa asked when she returned to the room. "I brought some of the cakes we ordered."

"He's resting at the moment. The call took a lot out of him and he's in no mood to deal with anyone at the moment," Edmond explained, getting up to accept the cakes. "These will help him when he wakes up. Thank you."

"Of...Of course," she nodded. "I...um…"

"What,' Edmond jerked his head to the side, Melissa assumed it was an earpiece. "I see. I'll go down and calm them down. Melissa is here so she can watch him."

"Has something happened?"

"A rep from the Russian branch just arrived to go over the breach at the moment and we need to get them through," Edmond explained, placing the items in the fridge. "Stay here and watch the room? Ritsuka is out cold for the moment so he shouldn't wake up, but if you could?"

'Of course," Melissa nodded.

"Thanks. And if you could bring a pitcher of water in his room in case he does wake?"

"No problem," she smiled as the man rushed out, cape trailing behind him as he did so. "Water…" she trailed off. She spotted a pitcher by the mini bar the room had, rushing over she went to fill it up. The quicker she did it the less the urge to snoop around she would have.

Once it was 3/4ths full the girl threaded quietly over to the closed door and opened it as gently as she could. The room was pitch black save the line of light on the top of the windows where the sunlight came in through. Melissa quickly took off her shoes and padded in with her socked feet on the plush carpet, letting out a silent sigh of relief as the door remained open.

She moved to place the pitch next to the empty glass Ritsuka no doubt took with him before his nap. She took that moment to look at the director and was struck with how young and untroubled he looked in that moment.

In that moment Melissa understood he was truly under immense stress and pressure if the only moment he looked young and untroubled was in his sleep. The girl swallowed before moving to leave when a whimper caught her attention.

"Gelda….Gelda….please...please believe me...I'm not here to hurt you," Ritsuka whimpered as he fisted his pillow and snuggled closer to it. "Paxti...Paxti….it's so cold here...I'm sorry…"

"Fujimaru-kun," Melissa murmured, but he was too deep in.

"Boy...you...you…" he gasped, twisting in his sleep. "Asha...Asha I'm so sorry! I...I wanted to save him...I couldn't...Adele...Makiolos...I...erggh…" he curled up on himself like he was struck in the middle. "I wanted to save you...Please...please…"

"Fujimaru!" Melissa whispered.

"Please believe me," he begged to the people of his past. "Romani….Romani don't...please," the last word was broken and choked as he began to turn frantically. "Don't leave me alone!"

"Fujimaru," Melissa snapped, the man snapping his eyes open and grabbing a knife to point at the girl who jumped back.

"Me...Melissa," he gasped, grabbing his chest to calm his beating heart. "What...where is everyone!"

'Some...someone came from the russain branch to speak to you, they needed to get him through customs…." she swallowed, eyeing the knife as he looked at her.

"I see…" He swallowed his gasp before putting the knife down. "Please…leave me be."

"I...I don't think-"

"LEAVE ME BE!"

Melissa jerked back, fear marring her face as she nodded before rushing out and slamming the door closed.

Why did I survive?

A boy with nothing to offer, eager to get out of Japan for the summer while being in an ultra high tech facility. A boy who merely was good with talking to servants, who had no magic or the likes to offer to the table?

Was fate laughing at him? Or did God simply hate him?

I really didn't know.

I still could see their faces, Paxti looking at us across the fire his mind filled with some thought or another. Gelda smiled as she cooked happily in her house that was made for a child and not adults. The boy begged Jing Ke for another poem for them to write out on the dirt field, the one from before perfectly written before him. Asha smiled as she ran along with Vihan before he vanished, smiling brightly as her father huffed out a smile. The twins making snarky remarks under their breaths with me, smiling at my laughter.

Sometimes, I wonder why I was the lucky one.

Why did I survive that fateful day while everyone else nearly lost their lives.

It was a question that I had pondered and even thought about using a grail to answer...just to see if there was an answer.

Was it the Stars of Fate? Was it Lady Luck? Was it Sheer Dumb Luck?

I never got the answer, even through the near decade I fought to save humanity and the people I came to adore as my family...I never knew the answer as to why me.

Was I afraid of the answer?

Maybe.

Was I too scared to ask?

Most certainly.

But so long as I had my family with me...my family...

Servants were people with immense power, but they were also my family. Mothers, Father's, Brothers, Sisters, Subordinates, Lords, Kings, Gods...they were everything to me.

They still are everything to me.

Ahhh...I hate myself...I hate this facade that I have to show to the world….why...why can't we all go back into solitude...an army of NEETS, happy and content with one another. Hijikata and Carmilla could raise Jack as they would normally, like back in Chaldea. Sanson would be playing with Abby as she spoke of Lavina. Music would flow openly throughout the whole facility as divine smells came from the kitchen where children would already be begging for a tiny morsel of a meal to come.

I...I would be happy and safe in a place where it really felt like a home.

The knife was heavy in my hand as I gripped it tight. A simple deep gash to my neck would end everything and Chaldea would fully vanish before the public's eyes, they would remain curious and perhaps research and become curious...all if one person were to die.

If I were to die.

"I would implore you not to," Geotia's voice was rough as it caressed my ear, his hand covering my own that held the knife. "It would not be good for us if you did."

"I'm tired...I feel like a monster in this world…"

"It's not something uncommon, no," he asked. "You were a monster to the association before we came here...I distinctly remember we were preparing for war against them. We merely have suffered a setback-"

"Since when have we done war against our own people," I coughed, feeling pressure move up into my chest the more I sat there. "Since when have we done that!" Like a child I slammed my fist into the bed, face turning red as I heaved in breath after breath.

"Since they decided you living was too much of a risk for them," he hissed into my ear, hand gripping the base of my hair tightly within his claws. "They decided that your life was not worth it when you gave it all your life. You gave up being a human so they could survive-"

"I'm not there anymore I am here...what am I doing," I sob, hand over my face as I tried to regain my thoughts. "Why am I letting everything go to hell in this place...We are losing the support we need...we need to step back. We need to gain support again."

``You just woke up from a fear filled dream...no time to be a director now," Goetia's voice was soothing. So soothing. "Come, sleep once more. I will be there for you the entire time, rest your soul for a bit longer."

"No...No...I can't let us keep going on like this...you hear me, Goetia," I turned to face the Former King of Humans, his eyes so sad as they looked into my own.

"Master...oh master," he crooned, hands caressing my tear stricken face and he came closer. "We will follow you until the very edge of the world. To the Land of the Shadow of Death...to any corner of this cosmos so long as we can all stay with you. To see these eyes," I could feel his thumb run under my left eye, getting rid of my tears. "Burn with determination and hatred once more."

He moved closer, his younger going out and licking up the rest of my tears...ah his obsession with my tears.

"This world does not deserve our ire," I choked, eyes closing as his other hand went to my cheek. "But I can't help but hate it...Why? Why could I have not been lauded as a hero and then left alone?"

"Because God is cruel and your destiny continues."

"Call back all the heroes…" I murmured, warm as Goetia pulled me deeper into his embrace. "Changes….changes will need to be made."

Soon an inky blackness surrounded me and I was at peace.

If only for a moment.

"Oh great king," Goetia didn't bother to acknowledge his sworn enemy as he appeared from the shadows. "What say you?"

"Silence clown," he snarled, still looking at the door where his master lies in a dreamless slumber. "Explain this?"

He held up a simple scrap of tea stained paper, only this paper radiated magical energy and held a word on it.

MNEMOSYNE

"Where did you get that," Ashiya demanded as he stanched the paper up. "Where was this found?"

"In our master's bed," Goetia snapped, eyes flicking up to the disgraced onmyoji. "Along with this."

In his hand appeared a paper shikigami, Ashiya's face twisted in anger and fury.

"If you think that I am the one twisting masters mind-"

"It's because of your reaction I know it is not you," Goetia sighed. "Any Onmyoji you can think of that would do this?"

"A great deal many...I was not liked," he smiled happily despite the slight blush on his cheek. "Even by other lords and Samurai."

"You're no help then," Goetia scoffed. "Like a roach in life, and even now."

"I am a great help to master," Ashiya sounded offended. Good. "But things are not going well on our Heroics end, especially with Izo and the likes. He's gotten out of hand with his fight with Stain."

"I knew allowing the master to send that dog out would come back to bite us. What happened?"

"He's being lauded as a fanatic and Stain 2.0," Ashiya hummed. "They are calling for him to be thrown into Tartarus with maximum security."

"When aren't they nowadays," Goetia grumbled. "Seems like all humans want is for their obvious past to go away."

'They think we are inspired by the past, good king," Ashiya smiled. "Not that we are indeed their past."

"Master intends to do what the UN and Commissions want and step back. Go away from the limelight and reevaluate our conduct."

"Master...why," Ashiya asked, he deflated a bit at the sentence. 'Why would he follow their demands when we have the power to veto it?"

"I don't know. UA is very close to kicking us out, too radical we are-"

"Half the school will leave then," Ashiya couldn't help the laugh that followed. "Masters class is most anticipated by many students. Master is kind and loving, he wouldn't do anything to them."

"Makes you wonder why he's been acting out," Goetia asked. "You're sadistic on a good day, but masters punishments have been getting out of hand."

'Your saying that someone might be interfering with his mind and his actions?"

"They could be or we've finally corrupted him to the point of no return," the King of Humans shrugged. "Either way it's not our problem. We'll follow him to the ends of the world itself, the only problem lies with the people who brought us here."

"Which brings me to another thing I wished to ask of you. You are certain?"

"Hm?"

"You are certain that there is no Holy Grail anywhere in this world? None at all?"

They stared at one another for a few hard moments before Goetia sighed and averted his eyes.

"I am...unsure of that. It makes little sense, why we were put into this world when we were prepared to fight for our lives against the association…," He hummed, eyes boring into the floor below his feet. "Why bring us here? They even brought Pepe and Kadoc...who weren't even with us in Antarctica at the time," he mused. "Even if there might be a grail here, all it would be is fragments. Not enough mana in this world for it to be fully formed.

"Something or someone wants us here...that annoying dead apostle was oddly silent during Ritsuka's trial too," Ashiya commented.

"He was indeed...he said nothing as our master stared at him...not like the trial really mattered in the end. It was all formalities to let us know our master was sentenced to death…"

"Tch...those humans really thought that killing him...telling US they were going to kill him...was a good idea," Goetia smiled as he thought back to their screams as he snapped a guard's neck. "Idiots."

"Indeed they were...but if the Holy Grail is not here then what is powering us," Ashiya couldn't help but wonder. "Fame means nothing in this world, even the older generations don't remember much of us...how do we still have so much power?"

"There has to be a Grail here...but none of us can sense it," Goetia insisted with a shake of his head. His golden hair covered his entire body as he did so, Ashiya being treated to a lump of golden hair. "Master must sense it...but something is blocking his sight...someone is trying to break him to make him an easy target."

"Well it's easier to do it now than back at Novum Chaldea," Ashiya admitted. "I'll have Dantes go into the master's mind and see if something is impeding his thought process. If not then we will have to do a sweep of everything."

"Very well. I will wait for my master to wake up," he murmured. "We will be down soon enough...how is Kadoc?"

"The Former Crypter is angry and upset...the records room was specifically targeted."

"Civilians may have raided India and Russia, but the Commissions took the most advantage of it."

"Yes indeed," Ashiya nodded, moving to exit the room. "I fear we will have to reveal ourselves sooner than I would like, lest we end up making a big mistake."

The door closed and Goetia was silent as he stared at the white door.

"A big mistake….how strange…Isn't everything we do a mistake?"

CHALDEAN OUTPOST, INDIAN BRANCH

"Oh Ash! Darling," Pepe called to his former servant who hummed in response. "How is our little guest? Anything interesting to tell us?" He gave a little clap as he sauntered into the room, eyeing the bloodied man strapped to the chair with disdain.

"Tch. he's pissing me off, that's what. He aint saying shit!"

"Fuck you," the man spat as the Archer reared back for another hit.

"Ah, ah," Pepe's hand landed on the shoulder of his former servant. "No hitting. We can't have you breaking his jaw now and what a shame that would be indeed. I mean look at this jaw he has, ooh gives some of those Greeks a run for their money."

'Can you not make this weird, pisses me off when you do," the archer grunted as he shrugged the other man's hand off.

"Everything makes you rage my dear, but that is what makes you I suppose," he brushed off before kneeling before the Commission's agent. "Now you," he grinned. "How about you explain why you decided to raid Russia and India? Do you know Kadoc and I?"

"We...We thought that your director would be here," he coughed, the look in Pepe's eye scaring the man. "He's never been to Japan. All there is, is the fuckng Vice director with goddamn stick up his ass!"

"And why do you want our director dear," Pepe demanded, leaning down to stare at the other straight in the eyes. "What do you have in store for him?"

"We...we need him to fire Fujimaru...get someone likeable and trustworthy…"

"You know nothing of what Fujimaru has done to deserve his position in Chaldea," Pepe snarled, grabbing the man's hair by the nape of his neck. He yanked him back and stared deep into his eyes. "So I will ask you again. What do you want without our director?"

The man stared at Pepe for a moment before realization dawned on his face.

"How...how can you follow someone as insane as Fujimaru?"

"Darling...Chaldea isn't what you think it is…" Pepe crooned as Karna and Arjuna Alter entered. "I am afraid you are barking a tree that is quite deadly for a little pup like you."

"Master hasn't given us any orders...but silence is the best way," Alter began. "I can erase his memories with ease...but the Commission is another story."

'I will contact any caster available to set up defenses," Karna nodded, going to the monitor on the side to send out the message.

'You two," Pepe cried out with glee as he released the man who gasped as the pressure left his neck. "Always a dear little ol me! You go do that Karna. And Arjuna...well, I'll leave you to your little...rewiring," he wiggled his fingers as Arjuna began to power up his noble phantasm. "Don't forget the people from Russia as well," he winked. "We can't have rats running their mouths after all! It's bad for our rep!"

'Of course."

"Wh...what the hell are you people," the man demanded. "No regular hero has the power you all seem to have! All Might wasn't even as strong as you all!"

Light glowed in Alter's hands as his Noble Phatasm began to activate, the look in his usually dead eyes unnerving to the commissions agent.

"History."

"They've been smart," Alter Ego hummed as Foreginer nodded. "They used the almost deaths of the Water Hose duo and the water works of their child to use to their advantage."

"Chaldea is not one to not take an opportunity," she reminded, moving to the decanter they managed to get from their...master, and pouring herself a hefty drink. "Would you like some? I find Whiskey is the perfect drink to simply lose yourself in. Or would you prefer Sake?'

"You know that stuff doesn't affect us correct," he hummed, shaking his head at the offered glass.

"The burn is nice," she hummed, the other smirking before shaking his head and going back to his scroll he was working on. "That little Shikgami you placed was found out."

"Oh," he hummed, unconcerned as he dipped his brush into the inkwell. "I see then...well, what a pity."

"After all the trouble you went through to try and get that stuck to the Master of Chaldea," she scoffed. "'Oh' is all you can say?"

"What else do you want me to say or do? I am not ready to face them just yet...we aren't powerful enough," he hissed.

"I hate this world," she huffed. 'We can barely get any power we once had from fame and people no longer know our names! Hell I am barely even remembered along with those bastards! This is seriously annoying me."

'How do you think I feel," Alter Ego scoffed, slamming his brush down with a clack. "My fame should be like that of hercules or King Arthur in my home country and yet here I am barely scrapping by with those accursed Nomu's as nourishment. I'm reduced to making thin paper Shikigami that can barely do squat…"

"If I had my way that damned All For One would be nourishment for me and my...friend," she gave a feral grin as the lights began to flicker and the radio turned on. "But unfortunately, I can't because that would throw a wrench in our plans."

"Speaking of a wrench in our plans...what the hell have the Borgia siblings and Barca been doing?"

"Like I know," she huffed, making her little 'friend' stop his assault on their appliances. "They are too good at hiding, but that is to be expected of Assassins' and a tacticain. I don't dare waste my resources and power on trying to locate them. Not like they have the power to go against us...but it's worrying that thwy are acting on their open so soon."

"When do you think they will turn coat?"

"Soon," she nodded. "Very soon. I don't expect them to be here much longer and I doubt that they will try hide it either. They are simply good at redirection," she hummed, moving to thew window. "The only question is to deal with them now or wait until they use all their cards."

'That's another major question….what is there goal in the end? They have no bones to pick with anyone in Chaldea, I doubt that the Borgiua sibling care about Erice or would even dare to try and go against Longinus. Barca is really the only one from his time period, so he really has no one...what are they trying achieve?"

"I don't know...they aren't really the easiest to read and they certainly never come to meetings…"

"Tch," Alter Ego bit his thumb as he tried to simply think of what he was supposed to do. "Damn them…"

"I am certain that they are not taking us lightly but the have no respect," Foreigner sighed.

"Of course they don't," Alter Ego scoffed. "But in the end we can only wait. I know thewy have a trump card and they won't be afraid to use it on us if it means they get to live longer and cause more havoc."

'I hate this," Foriengher sighed, thowing her hands up before plopping on the divan he managed to get for her. "I want to face our enemies and take them out once and for all! And you...well, you'll have your fun."

"Indeed...but good things do come to those who wait," he informed her, smirking as he picked up his brush once more.

"Yes, yes," she brushed off.
