NOW! I am still allowing PMing as long as it is RESPECTFUL! If you guys do anything like what those assholes did to me in the previous story, immediate block. No warning, nothing. Immediate block is what you get when you decide to be an asshole. Ahem, don't be afraid of lengthy comments, I tend to enjoy those the most and I do hope you all enjoy this story.
"Fucker," Izo snarled as he nursed a drink in his hand. "Fucking shit got away from me and….AARGH," he roared, throwing the glass at a wall as Erice went to get him another. "I will kill him!"
"No you won't," Tensei gasped as he looked at the small pile of broken glass on his agency's floor. "He needs to face justice-"
"And he's gonna face it with my hand! That's what,``Izo snapped, clearly drunk. "That's how I did it back then and that's how I'm going to end up dealing with it!"
"Master is going to punish you if you keep drinking," Erice stated as she handed him the final glass.
"Then why are you giving me more," he demanded, his speech surprisingly not slurred after the amount he had. He groped for the glass for a moment before he managed to grasp it and pull it to his lips
'Because you'll only whine for the rest of the day and I would rather not have a self pity fest,' the girl shot back as Hajime choked on his own drink and laughed.
"That's right..there was the whole Valentines incident with you and master where you threw up-"
'Fucking stuff it you Shinsengumi asshole," the man yelled out as he raised his hands up in surrender. "You bastards are almost as bad as Ryoma!"
"Aren't you two dating...doesn't he have a wife," Hajime asked, looking thoughtful.
'Fuck all those stupid fangirls and their stupid thoughts," Izo spat out. "I'm a lone wolf! Ain't got no time anymore for that crap!"
'For love," Hajime sniffed, leaning back with his whisky in hand. "Power to you lone wolf," he laughed as Izo began to growl again.
"Piss off!"
Dear lord, the two other heroes thought as they watched the trio interact, how do they even manage to work with one another.
"I heard that the Nobu's are having trouble backing up in their little area. Called radical...don't know why Master let them run free. Not like Nobukatsu is going to do jack and Nobu is very much still trying to kill Mori for hooking up with her brother...twice," Hajime hummed.
"I thought that was a rumor," Erice gasped, looking interested as the two commissioned heroes looked to one another in worry.
"Nah, it totally was real" he laughed as Izo began to whine about no more booze in his cup. "Nobu thinks it's revenge. Once Mori learned that his little brother was her lover and killed during the siege. Mori just likes Nobukatsu for whatever damned reason."
"What does Mori think?"
"I don't know. It's hard to get a read on a man who wants nothing more than to have heads on his spear to give to master and be doted upon by Nobu's younger brother. All I know is that he often has to run from a hail of bullets and Chacha is always trying to roast him alive. She also got into a scuffle with a few others because Katsu experimented for a while," Hajime whistled, kicking back as the heroes began to take notes on the man.
'No," Erice gasped.
'He slept with quite a few people and Nobu is not happy," he grunted. "A few Greeks, a few english and a few throwaways and Nobu is now on a warpath."
"Men or women?"
"Both," he winked as Erice looked shocked. "I never knew he had it in him! But damn! Now Katsu isn't allowed alone anymore because of it. Of course it was a dream for the little walking Sister Complex...now he hates it."
"Because he can't see Mori?"
"More like Nobu's threatening to shoot off his dick every time she sees them attempting to speak to one another," he sniffed, placing his empty glass down. "Nobu and Troupe are expected to come down in a week or so to help with the Hero Killer."
"Fuck that! He's mine!"
"Yes, yes Izo," they nodded as the man began to whine to them again. "We know."
"Then why are they coming here!"
"Izo…" The two sighed as the man began his whining tangent.
"Hey, look at this," Tensei whispered as his phone began to blow up with messages and alerts.
"Same here," Kamui murmured, phone out as he watched message after message pop up on his phone.
Suddenly a phone went off near the trio and Hajime sighed as he took out his own, not even bothering to look at it before he answered with a heavy 'Hajime'. He seemingly listen for a few moments before bursting forward, hands on his legs as he listened more intently.
"Say what," he hissed. Another moment. "Erice! Turn on the TV to Channel 8! Now!"
"Oh..okay," she gasped, rushing to do so as Izo hummed in his drunken stupor.
"Was….was going on," he slurred, giggling as he hugged himself. "Is...is that Master on the TV?"
The look on his face spelled disaster and then…
"I have made the difficult decision to pull back all Chaldean Aide, Operations and Resources."
Oh no…
A FEW HOURS EARLIER, I-ISLAND
"You want what," Kadoc yelled as he jumped up.
"I will pull back all Chaldean Aide….All of It," Ritsuka stated, taking the teacup in trembling hands as he tried to calm his thoughts. "I will abide by what they wish if it means only a little less pressure."
"We have bad enough press as it is! Pulling back-"
"It's what the UN and Commissions want though," Ashiya hummed as Rasputin sighed. "Is that not what the masses also want?" He gave a sick grin as Oberon scoffed, leaning back on the bed with Blanca on his chest as he observed the ensuing shit fest.
"The refugee's in the Middle East and Haiti would say otherwise. Towns and villages have been totaled from radicals and natural disasters alike," Kadoc scoffed, hands on his hips as he began to pace. "And then what about Chaldean Fest next month? We can't refund everyone-"
``We can still have Chaldean Fest. It will be a theme park run by us, no need for heroing," Ashiya waved off as Edmond came in with a rolling tray of coffee.
"We will be depriving people of medical aid, food, shelter, basic human rights," Kadoc listed off. "And you say that Heroes commissions is alright with that?"
'According to both our benefactors, we have none,'' Edmond spoke, fixing cups of coffee as the rest snorted. "So...make sure the monsters are locked up tight no? Go back to Antarctica for a while, let them make the tough decisions."
"It will be quite the easy thing for them after all," Oberon drawled out as he waved his hands around lazily in the air. "I mean they have tartarus after all," he then rolled his eyes as Kadoc grew red.
"Zhang Wei would still be alive, selling children's organs and into prositiuiton if we didn't kill him! He'd just be holed up in some prison for the rest of his miserable life!" Kadoc was pissed off, especially since he was the one that captured him. "Just because he's locked up doesnt mean his damned operation stops!"
"You think that they wouldn't have killed him?" Oberon raised a brow with a self indulgent smirk and took joy in the reddening of Kadoc. "Those heroes?"
"Given the fact that Gao and Yan we're given so much shit for killing him, yeah they wouldn't have," Kadoc was getting angry. "They have allowed a thriving underbelly of corruption and perverseness that they want to ignore! The rural areas are fucking rife with this shit because who wants to go into the middle of buttfuck nowhere to work! But when we go there, BOOM! Press and News Media everywhere," he snarled. "Fucking ridiculous."
"I can't tell if you're for or against this Kadoc," Ritsuka sighed, shaking his head.
"I...Look, it's complicated," he hissed. "There are plenty of innocent people that we will be leaving behind and screwing over!"
"Let the other rescue heroes deal with it then," Ashiya scoffed, waving a hand off. "They seem quite happy to take the credit for saving people and then leaving when relief efforts must be done as well."
"And the rogue servants? They will no doubt be loving this," he demanded. "They will wreak havoc," he hissed, getting close. "And what then? Records shown we're dealing with extra classes here! Or very insinae regular classes!"
"Unless they interact with us directly, they won't be our problem," Ritsuka shook his head, placing the cup and saucer down. "They want us to stop interfering, I am giving them what they want. They are the ones screwing everyone over."
"How are you so clam-"
"They targeted Russia and they said something to you didn't they," Ritsuka asked, Kadoc looking shocked before cursing.
"You have to stop doing that deduction...it's annoying," he grunted, blushing at the intense look he was receiving from his boss.
"I'm not wrong though?"
"No...no you aren't," he admitted with a sigh. "They...they said that our director...you," he began. "You were a monster that liked to brainwash powerful heroes to be unabashed killers," he scoffed. "If they only knew what unabashed killers were…"
"That's not what got you wound up tight...tell me please?" There it was, Kadoc mused, the soft voice he always had when dealing with his friends.
The one that they all knew very well.
"They said...they would take extreme measures to get someone more suitable to be the head of Chaldea," he admitted. "Someone more aligned with their goals."
CRASH.
They turned to see Kingu, eyes wide and hand bloody as he shook with pure unfiltered rage.
"The gall," Kingu snarled, getting up as his chains slammed into the walls and ceiling. "Who knows better than my brother! Tell me, who in this damned world is filled with Mortal symbols that are thrown out as soon as they are worth nothing! Who in this world where their national pride is placed upon mortal symbols instead of the great history that formed their nation!"
"I don't know," Kadoc yelled, getting up as well. "If I did then I would be stopping this before Ritsuka had to do any of this!" He looked so frustrated and done with everything that had been going on.
"Humans," Castor growled as Pollux clutched her glass tighter. "They don't deserve your help master,' they roared to Ritsuka who was silent in his seat.
"I say we don't even help All Might! Shield has to know," Pollux cried out, unable to hold herself in.
"I never go back on a deal," he murmured, getting up and stumbling to the window.
'Brother!"
"I am fine," he brushed Kingu off as Voyager clung to his waist. "I'm tired. Some time away from all of this will be good for us. We will help All Might. We leave tomorrow."
"Brother," Kingu began. "Don't do-"
"No," he brushed. "I am tired of hiding. I will make the announcement soon. We will not reconvene as heroes until Chaldean Fest in a month, if only for a public service role instead of a 'heroic' one. We have invitations to the I-Expo which we will attend."
``And the MNEMOSYNE papers," he demanded. "They would attack the expo with them! And you say we are not to interfere," he scoffed. "Brother I did not take you for a fool."
"Indeed," Oberon demanded as he stood infront of Ritsuka with a dark look in his eyes. "Even in Avalon le Fae...you did not show such foolish qualities."
"I am not a fool," Ritsuka smiled. "We will deal with it as an internal issue, and anything that happens outside will be dealt with accordingly. If they insist on being apart of the investigation we claim independence and tell them to fuck off."
"That will only put more suspicion on us."
"I don't care at this point," he snapped, turning to Kadoc who kicked the ground. "Why are you even fighting this? You hate this place more than me."
"I'm doing this because you've been off your game for a long time now," he hissed. "But I'm done with all this bureaucracy crap," his hands flopped to the side. "Antarctica is more home than this world. Servants and Masters are more accustomed to the shadows anyways."
'What of Izo. He will not stop hunting the hero killer," Moriarty began."And I doubt you wish to use the command seals for something as trivial as that."
"He will be a special exception. We will remain active until the end of the next week after the end of the UA Sports Festival," Ritsuka explained. "I need to say goodbye to them all…"
"You are too attached," Oberon scoffed, crossing his arms as Ritsuka merely shrugged in response.
"Being a hermit company...now this is familiar." Angra giggled as he thought about being home.
Home...yeah, they all had a home.
"Get everything ready," Ritsuka demanded. "I want this over with as soon as possible."
'Understood!"
"Guess we all better start packing up," Kadoc sighed as he slumped into a chair as the others began to do just that. "I just got here!"
"Not like we planned to stay any longer once master made his decision. Besides, it will be good to be back in Exemplum Chaldea," Moriarty smiled.
"Still, it's not a happy place since it's called Copy," Kadoc grumbled.
No matter what, any worlds Antarictica would be Chaldea.
Even if it was a copy of a copy.
PRESENT TIME
"Before we continue with the Final Round of the Sports Festival, our Principal is imploring us to watch this," Midnight began as large monitors began to reveal themselves.
"Fujimaru-Sensei?"
"Man, he looks like crap!"
"That's the official Chaldean Logo…"
'They have something to say during the sports festival?"
Murmurs ran through the crowd and students as they looked up to the infamous vice director who looked like death warmed over. Gaunt eyes and sickly pallored skin as he sat in a chair beside the window of I Island.
Many students of UA looked to their professor in worry as he began to speak.
"Hello," Fujimaru began, sighing as he did so seemingly aging a year. "As you all may well know, the Heroes Commissions and UN have been looking to limit Chaldea power over the last few weeks."
"Right, power to them! Damned monsters!"
"They do so much good though! It's sad that they want to do that!"
"Fucking Monsters! Fuck you Chaldea!"
Mixed reactions showed up in the stands as the students of UA shifted uncomfortably.
'What the hell is going on," Yui murmured to Hitoshi who shook his head in equal confusion.
"As well," Fujimaru began. "Our Director has yet to show himself, but I am here to clear the air in that I am the Director of Chaldea. Fujimaru Ritsuka, 5th director of Chaldea Security Organization and I hid my identity to be able to converse more easily with the younger generation."
"He sounds like a fucking pedo!"
"No way he's the director!"
"It makes sense considering his power and sway over the company."
"I have made the difficult decision to pull back all Chaldean Aide, Operations and Resources."
"What?"
That was the general thought and word spoken all around the world.
"Until further notice all Chaldean operated and funded events have been cancelled and pulled back. Rescue and relief efforts will cease as well. Any aide on police investigations will be pulled, except for that of the Hero Killer due to the close encounter today. We will be relocating for the foreseeable future into our Antarctica Base, where we originally were stationed. So all Chaldean Agencies will be empty and unusable until further notice. All info has already been shipped back to out Antarctica base.``
"They...they can't be serious…"
'Fuck this! They can't do that."
"They just want us to fall into line like sheep!"
"The UN and Heroes Commission have made it very clear that Chaldean intervention is not needed and a...rescreening of our people is needed. So we will be spending that time doing that in between I-Expo and internal investigations. We will not be available for any sort of call to aide, any we do provide will be during our internal investigations if they so happen to cross."
"They...they don't have the power to call back all their people! Some have been out on missions for months!"
"That's not right! They have to keep hjelping the people they have been helping out!"
"Why are they doing this to us!"
"Make no mistake, I am not doing this because I want to. The UN and Commissions made it very clear that unless stated, we are not to interfere until our screening is vetted by both of them," he sighed, staring into the camera. "Any and all contracts will be fulfilled in lieu of this break. We do not go back on our promises," he smiled. "My final class in UA will be next Friday, and I do not intend to return after that," he explained as the other classes fell to their knees in shock.
"No….No," some students whimpered.
"Fujimaru sensei…' Mae murmured, holding onto her gadgets she had made in the lab that he offered to support students.
They had a tight budget for support, so they had only two tries to get something right but it was never enough especially when items where missing and if that was so they needed to procure it themselves. But how would students do that?
So he made a lab for them and had a blacksmith, a blacksmith! On standby should they need a certain part made.
He helped their schooling, he was a good teacher too...
"I will still be accepting their assignments and grading them, but my resignation will be absolute," he nodded. "The Museum will be closed and packaged back to Antarctica as well."
"No! Sensei please," students began to cry in fear and anxiety at that. "Anything but that!"
"What of Chaldean fest!" A B-1 student suddenlpy cried out, and others began whispering about it as well.
"Chaldean Fest will still be happening in the next month, so do not worry. But we will be acting as public servants and not heroes during that time. The original draw of support weaponry and guides of our agency will be changed to Chaldean Fest tickets."
"Sensei…" some students whispered, most of them looking to others trying to see if they where in on some sort of prank.
"I am saddened that this needed to occur, but it is needed. We will hold no other information dump aside from this. All Chaldean Resources, Operations and Aide will cease until further notice, until our screenings are vetted by both the Commissions and UN. We will not be on call for aid, rescue or any other missions. The trio of Izo Okada, Erice Utsumi and Hajime Saitou will be given exceptions due to their closeness to solving the hero killer case. They are not to be bothered," he warned.
"This...this is madness," Itsuka cried, shaking as Gawain placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Effect of tomorrow, everything will cease," he pressed, leaving forward. "Chaldeans Heroes at the UA sports festival may continue their work there until the end. But only in a public service, not heroing until screening begins," he warned. "After that you are all expected to return to Antarctica for screening and vetting. I will say it again. As of tomorrow, all Chaldean resources, aid and operations will cease until further notice. Thank you for understanding and may God bless you all," he inclined his head before the transmission cut off.
For a whole moment, the entire world was silent…
And then everything began to go up in flames.
I-ISLAND
"You cannot be serious," David began the moment he entered Ritsuka's packed up rooms.
"Everyone has made it quite clear what they think of us," Ritsuka hummed as he folded another shirt. "I follow the people and their wills. And their wills want us gone."
"You lead the world in humanitarian efforts-"
"And the UN would rather we didn't," he shot the other man down. "You won't win this argument. And besides, you did say that you didn't like how we handled things.."
"I never thought you would actually pull back and abandon the people you are helping," David admitted as he turned to face the sullen director. "Didn't you say that breaking a promise was bad luck?"
"Hmm..I did say that we would finish all contractual agreements…" He hummed, which sent David off even more.
"How can you abandon the people depending on you like that," David demanded, he jumped when Ritsuka slammed his suitcase closed.
"I am not abandoning them," he hissed, turning to the man. "I have fought, for weeks on end without so much as a light at the end of the tunnel against those board bastards," he was up in David's face. "But no...they want us gone….well," he spread his arms as he stepped back. "They are getting their wish! And we will abide by the contract we all signed. Until they approve us...nothing," he hummed, looking angered yet unworried all the same.
"You know that's not what they meant Fujimaru-"
And that was the straw that seemingly broke the camels back.
'I don't care! Not anymore. One can only deal with so much of this crap and I am DONE," he roared, still looking impeccable as he went back to his stuff. "All Might will still be going under surgery on the date you pick," he breathed out, calmer than before. "But we are...nothing more than a villain organization now. It's official."
"Fujimaru-"
'Everyone fears us...and you know...it's almost like the old days...back when a terrorist killed nearly everyone...including me," he hummed. "Sometimes I wish I was one of them, you know?" He turned to David and he saw.
He saw the guilt of him being one that survived, it was more common nowadays than before the quirked era. Survivors guilt in villain attacks are quite common and he could see it in Fujimaru's eyes.
It's asking the simple question, why him?
"Hey," he went to grab the others arm before he was stopped by the boy.
"I know that this world would prefer us gone...I know that in the end nothing will change for us," he smiled. "But...I can only hope that we may get along during Chaldean Fest."
"I...I think your good people. I think you do a lot of good," David began before a laugh got him.
"No you dont...but I appreciate the sentiment...thank you for giving up the flash drive though. Speak to All Might and I will make sure the surgery is done," he nodded.
"Don't let this stop you," he yelled before Ritsuka eft the room fully.
"No…" he sighed, looking to the man. "I should be saying that don't let us being gone change what needs to be done," he warned.
"Huh?"
"You'll see...soon," he smiled before closing the door fully.
UA
Shinso felt as if his heart was going to burst from his chest.
"This couldn't be real" was the main thought in his head as he ran from the temporarily suspended Sports Festival to the Museum where Kintoki sat on the steps, smoking a cigarette.
Instead of his usual proud figure he was slumped on the steps, sulleningly smoking the item in his mouth as he stared at the ground.
Not golden, as he would put it.
"KINTOKI!"
The golden hero looked up, shades firmly on his face as he got too his feet and called out.
"Yo! I thought you where in the finals!"
"Tell me it's not true," Shinso demanded as he skidded to a stop.
"Huh?"
"Tell me it;s not true! You leaving! The Museum shutting down! Ritsuka….Fujimaru Sensei leaving," he gasped, hands on his thighs as he tried to get air back into his lungs. "Please tell me this is a PR stunt!"
"Kid...It's complicated-"
"You guys are seriously going to abandon people like that," he demanded before his shoulder was grabbed.
He jerked up to stare the hero right in the eyes, hid face no doubt controted into one of hurt and disbelief.
Kintoki's face was one of sadness and compassion as he began to speak.
"Look," Kintoki sighed, taking off his glasses to show shocking purple eyes. "This wasn't something that we wanted to happen, got it?" When he received a head nod he continued. "But...the UN made it clear Chaldean intervention was not...required," he grunted. "That the rescue heroes would be able to deal with relief efforts and all our fundraising is nothing more than gerrymandering," he shrugged. "So...were pulling back for the foreseeable future. We got our own things to do and investigate. Better now than later," he scoffed. "Besides, not like we are wanted here or anywhere else."
"And leaving UA?"
"Boss was getting in some deep trouble with the Princiaple and that Aizawa guy," he grunted, stomping his cigarette out in the public ashtray the Museum offered. "It was always going to end with him leaving UA before the first year finished up."
"But...But…" Shinso stumbled for words. "He…"
"He made sure that your transfer to the hero course will go through. Conditions was you make it into the finals. So your good to go," he smiled but Shinso felt hollow. "You have friends you can depend on. Boss was just a fun teacher, yeah?"
"I...guess so…"
"I'll drive you back," he smiled, clapping the kid ont he shoulder as the clapped as his outfit changed into the biker one he was usually in.
"What is that process anyways," he demanded.
"Trust me, it will give you a headache," the man smirked as his whistled and snapped, before the, appearing his motorcycle, Bear. "Get on."
'Right."
He situated himself behind the hero, looking back on the museum that was already feeling as empty as it would be in a few days. The roar of the engine was different and he continued to stare at the safe haven he and hie friends would always meet at, enjoying lunch or snacks in the courtyard as children ran around starry eyed and asked about legends and the like.
They truly understood Fujimaru Sensei in that place, and in that place Fujimaru Sensei was calm, at peace in a way.
And now it would be taken from them...nothing left for them at all.
Blindly he followed Kintoki into the Cafe they where running, unaware of the rest of things going on around him until someone spoke.
"Your all leaving," Monoma asked looking around to all the sullen adults who where either speaking to people on the phone or waiting for certain items to be handed out.
"We have too….were too dangerous it seems,' Enma sighed as she cleaned some utensils; the Cafe had closed due to the vultur-ah, reporters trying to get in. "I expected this to happen at the end of the school year," she admitted.
'What," Itsuka demanded.
"We knew we where never going to last a fully year at UA but it was hopeful enough," Mordred shrugged, flinching as Gawain kneed her and motioned to the distraught kids. "What," she hissed. "It's true."
"It will be nice to see everyone again," Arthur offered up as Bedivere went around serving them all...adult drinks.
"How long," Kota asked, clinging to his parents who where calming the boy down who cried like mad once he realized the heroes who saved his parents where being investigated like villains.
"No more than a month at the shortest...years at the latest. I don't see this process taking a short time, soo...," Tristan hummed before Bedivere threw the man's drink in his face as Kota began to wail anew. "Too much?"
"Idiot," Bedivere sighed, moving to get the man a towel despite him being the one to toss the drink on him.
"Great...no doubt there will have to be extra screening at Chaldean Fest too," Agravain sighed as he rubbed his temple. "I am about to burst an artery," he growled before downing the shot, yes he got shots, in a single gulp. "Don't we have anything stronger," he demanded, to which he was handed premium 192 proof Vodka. "Hmm," he nodded, pouring himself a shot before grabbing his phone to make a call.
"This sucks," Mordred sighed. "I wanted to take Fran out to a date in one of the forests here!"
"You'll just have to wait," Arthur said as the other girl nodded, Mordred let out a sound of despair before slumping back. "This a mess…"
Itsuka, Monoma and all others who volunteered there couldn't help but feel sad at the thought of these heroes who treated them like friends rather than students, were going to leave.
"Wh...what happens when you come back? If where still in school," Shinso asked, looking at them hopefully.
"We're not here to guide you or anything like that. We can be mentors and we can be friends, but we can never fully be teachers. Forming an attachment to a teacher you are destined to outclass or go away from is never good," Arthur began. "We will always be in the world...but never expect us to come back."
"Right…"
"I am sorry,' Arthur clapped him on the shoulder, eyes brimming with sadness as he stared at the boy.
'No...it's not you,' he murmured, the older man smiling softly as he ruffled the large lilac locks.
"We will return. But not in a way I think you are hoping," he informed him.
They sat in silence for a long time after, Kota having long since fallen asleep in Enma's calming embrace.
UNKOWN
"I was not expecting that," Galahad turned Wodmie who watched the Tv with interest. "This is not good."
"I swear the association is better than these bastards," Galahad sighed, getting up with a heave. "At least they knew their damn place in the order of hiearchy when it came to who is the most powerful!"
"You might be right," he admitted. "But then again, they where only stationed in London. These people are all over the world. And they all have their idea of how Chaldea should be run.
'This puts a wrench in our plans for Seraphix-"
"Not really," the man shrugged. "Chaldean Fest is still going to happen. So they will be drained of resources during that week," he nodded. "We will still proceed with our advancement."
"And our rouge servants? They will be meeting the others sooner than expected." Galahad scoffed. "You know how much this screws everyone over? Things are progressing so much faster because these humans-"
"Your just upset," Wodime gave a wolfish grin as Galahad blushed. "The Caster of Camlann is your mother after all."
"I just dont' want her and that bastard I call a father meeting sooner than they need to be," he burst.
"Ahahah! Your so fun to tease!"
'Shut your mouth!"
The two began to squabble back and forth as the world continued in it's crazed state.
"I don't want to speak of my mother any more, now that Chaldea is gone for the time being we have to focus on the other rogue servants serving All for One!"
'Oh I doubt they will do anything at all. They seem to be banking on Chaldea being around," his master stirred his cup of tea idly. "Banking on them to be around once the fall out occurs and for them to take the blame and bad press. Without them there they really can't cause their fall."
"Chaldea really is cursed."
"I guess so...I mean..after what happened to me," he smirked as Galahad shook his head. "But I will admit that this does put both pressure ands strain on all sides of this brewing war," he heaved a heavy sigh as he hands moved to fix up a cup of tea.
"I can't monitor them all...Lord Knows what Pieceman might do. He has no true loyalty to Chaldea! He may throw it all to ruin after all," he seemed stressed as the knight began to pace. His mind ran a million miles a minute as Wodime placed his cup down and stared after him.
"I'm not asking you too. Chaldea isn't worried at this moment….So we shouldn't be either," he urged Shielder. "We should be more focused on containing all the chaos that will soon be happening."
"Understood," he nodded.
"Now," Wodime clapped, smiling brightly as Galahad gave a strained one back. "Let's have come of these japanese chocolate biscuits! They are great!"
It seems that even back from death, he would always be the kind man he once was after that faithful meeting with a filthy street rat.
UNKNOWN
"This is not good," Alter Ego sighed as he and Foreigner watched the broadcast. "Fujimaru will be able to get about his wits now that Ashiya will be able to monitor him more thoroughly along with Dantes."
He was pacing around the study they had managed to make with magic and territory creation, gnawing on his lip as the broadcast soon turned to the anchors. Both where speaking rapid fire about one thing or another about the soon to be exodus that Chaldeans where doing.
"Things aren't going our way it seems," Foreigner hummed as she placed her parasol down and smiled at Caster. "Hello," she waved happily before saying. "It seems that the crazed dog has come to visit us!" With her usual grace she sat down before the tea that Alter Ego had brewed for her, eyeing the mad caster with her usual glint in her eye as she moved deeper into their abode.
"Tch," the woman snarled, necklaces clanking together as she moved before the TV. "Our plans will have to cease until I-Expo." She seemed unconcerned if not for the way her closed fist was shaking.
'Indeed they will," Foreigner smiled, teacup in hand. "Chaldea unfortunately won't be around and we can't execute our plans without them around after all. Who will take the fall? Not us, certainly not." She shook her head before taking a dainty sip. "After all, they will be in their Antarctica fortress that even we haven't been able to observe, not to mention Seraphix got a major security upgrade once that little weasel decided to betray us."
'That was on me,' Alter Ego sighed, stopping his pacing to run a hand through his white hair. "For thinking he would be trust worthy in the end when he still clearly fears Fujimaru. And I don't doubt him, Madness enhancement and Innocent Monster have tained his soul farther than I expected. "
"Fujimaru is powerful, we underestimated him," Foreigner sighed groaning as giggling was heard from above. "You little brats…"
"So the high class lady bitch admits she was wrong," Ceasre smirked as his sister laughed beside him. "Never thought I'd see the day, hmm sister?" He gave her a wolfish smile as the girl gave another high pitched giggled, eyes mocking as she stared at the Foreigner.
"Most certainly not brother! Now this is a day for celebration," Lucrezia grinned as Foreigner tightened her grip on her cup.
"Now listen her you little-"
'Oh I think she's mad brother!"
"Looks like a poodle though."
'That is it," she yelled before Alter Ego grabbed her as Caster laughed, the two grappled before she managed to calm down and push he man off of her. "Leave me be...especially you demons," she hissed to the Borgia siblings who merely smiled.
"We will get nowhere...where is Barca," Alter Ego demanded. "I was under the impression that he and you two here all combined at the hip."
'Off drinking with some pretty girls or something," Caesar brushed off. "Not our problem."
'He's quite popular amongst the bars since he's regained both his youth and brillant aged mind," Lucrezia smiled as the two began to laugh once more.
"Idiot! He is asking to be discovered by the Chaldean forces," Foriegner growled, slamming her teacup down into its saucer as she turned to face the two assassins. "Why do you let him do this! It's bad enough that All For One nags on us as it is! Do you want this to happen even more," she hissed.
"He's a grown man who lived longer than us," they shrugged. "He's not our responsibility!"
"We are doomed."
A WEEK LATER
After that announcement, no one really cared about the UA sports festival. In the end, it was the announcement that was on everyones minds and even the final fights couldn't take peoples mind off of it.
The students of UA where anxious for the return of their soon to be former teacher, the man still not having come back on Monday and his final day was approaching fast.
In fact his final day was that day.
And still, he had yet to appear.
"Fujimaru-Sensei still hasn't come back," Rin commented as he fiddled with his portfolio of his topic. "He said his last day was today...and he's still not here." Most of the students where anxious as they all looked around the room, unsure of what to expect. Before each of them where their projects that they all worked on in the….in the empty museum in uneasy silence.
Business, Support, General Education and Heroics all sat on the pristine floor, chaperoned by Kintoki who helped them when he could. When the silence would get unbearable or when they simply where too antsy to do anything related to their project they would get up and explore the empty building as they thought back to when it was full of life and relics.
They all spoke of the exhibits that where in one place or another that would seemingly be gone for the time being.
They never spoke of the 'forever' that seemed to come with the museum being taken away from them.
Even the workshop Fujimaru Sensei provided had to taken away from the Support course, because the blacksmith he hired was a Chaldean hero who was taking some personal time off.
It was all coming to a head in this final day.
"Don't forget," Pony began. "Where his first class of the day, so there is still plenty of time!" She smiled to them all as she stood from her seat.
"Yeah...but still.." Multiple people said, unsure of themselves as the bell chimed to alert them of their first class...Fujimaru's Class.
"You have so little faith in me I see," that joking voice had their heads snapping to the door where they spotted two familiar faces.
"SENSEI! COUNT!" They all yelled as the two entered.
"Hello, hello," Fujimaru smiled happily as he took stalk of the students. "Not a single student missing today! I hope the trend continues," he grinned as he placed his items down on the table.
"Sensei.." Monoma began.
"I am very proud of you all for how far all of you made it in the Sports Festival," he commented. "Even if some of you left on purpose, I am sure you all had your reasons and I appreciate your dedication to the volunteer work you did."
They glowed under the praise, even if said volunteer work was nicely paid; it was nice that he seemed to be treating this like any other day.
"Sensei...why are you really leaving," Setsuna asked, making Fujimaru stop and Count shift in place.
He deflated, seemingly expecting the question and gave her a sad smile as he spoke.
"Always asking the tough questions my girl," he began, turning to the Class President who shifted in her seat. "It's complicated and it's full of...things you'll come to learn as you join the work force."
"Why cant we learn now...know how to fight them-"
"You don't fight them, not unless you have a powerful backing and information," Ritsuka stopped Ibara. "If you don't, you roll over and say yes master."
"Understood," the vine haired girl murmured before sitting down.
"Now, pass your portfolio's up," he motioned, the wave of students pushing their items forward as Count went around to collect them all. "Today I have a special class, we will be going down to the training room and we will all be seeing the weapons and armor of different cultures. And you will be able to hold them."
"REALLY," Tetsu yelled out, he jumped up and looked like a energized puppy as he hoipped from foot to foot.
"Of course! I did promise did I not," he asked as he smiled to the mass of students who began to brighten up at the thought. "Up, up! Let's not waste the time! Come, come," he laughed as they all struggled to get up and out the door with the combined sound of their teachers laugh.
"Eager children," Count hummed as he watched they rush past.
"Hey," they all whined as they rushed down to their last ever class.
No...none of those thought. There will always be a possibility he could return...there always was a possibility.
Always.
Some students turned to look outside their classrooms, the younger years brightening as they saw Fujimaru Sensei along with Count, the two forever intertwined, as they walked down the hall. He smiled and waved to them, laughing as they returned the gesture happily.
Ritsuka didn't allow his pace or smile to falter as Aizawa, Vlad King and All Might stood outside the training room where he had his heroes and weapons stationed for his final class.
"Do move," he hummed, pushing through the worried B1 students who looked at their teacher in apprehension. "I have a final class to teach and I have been given permission from their parents via consent form," he smirked as they all relented. "Many thanks,' he inclined his head, opening the double doors before moving to the side as a wave of them rushed in.
He smiled as they all ran down the stairs to the weapons set up, oohing and awing.
He shook his head as it didn't take long for them to want to try the armor on.
"Do try and keep your harsh criticisms to yourself today," he asked, not even turning to look at them. "These kids deserve a happy last day with their beloved professor."
"Your just bribing them."
'Or maybe you had an idealized version of how they are supposed to act now and it doesn't always work with some people," he shot back. "So don't even."
He walked into the training area, Count smirking at them as he slammed the door closed on their faces.
Effectively cutting them off chrome the children who laughed joyously like never before.
Cutting them off from the joy that they where supposed to give them as heroic mentors.
