Chapter 31: Victory
Salem
She had seen a lot over the years, and it took something truly impressive to surprise her anymore.
"M-mama?" One of her daughters asked, hesitant and confused as she looked up at her pale face.
Grabbing her daughter into a tight hug, all she could do was look up into the smirking face of the white haired boy who just casually walked into her castle like he owned the place, Cinder behind him looking at her in shock.
"Y-yes, it's me Summer, I know I look different but I'm still me." Salem swore, hugging her daughter tightly.
She looked exactly the same as she did all those years ago, and that was how she found herself meeting Shiro Eis, fledgling God and future God-King of Remnant.
He swore to give her all her daughters back, gave her Syndra's location, and all he wanted in return was something all too easy to do.
After all, the only reason Menagerie still existed was because hadn't decided to destroy it yet.
Cinder
Shiro was a master planner, on a scale that made her look like a child trying to play chess against a Grandmaster, and it had never been more clear than now.
Sitting in her office she looked over New Vacou with a wide smile, the sprawling high-tech city shining like a beacon in the desert.
A beacon to the Grimm as well, but with so many automated turrets and drones, no Grimm could even get close to the Hyperway roads Shiro had built between New Vacou, Mistral and Vale.
Shiro was technically just a councillor at the moment, but with a seat on the Vale and Vacou council, the Mistral council held by the balls, and the Atlas council dominated by his followers, he'd already won.
All that was left was to slowly let people get used to the idea of him ruling alone, which he basically already did with so many agents on each council.
With the destruction of Menagerie, he'd been hailed the saviour of the Faunus for his quick actions and willingness to let the survivors settle in New Vacou, even giving Sienna Khan a seat in the council in exchange for the disbanding of the White Fang.
Of course she'd just been in Shiro's 'office' and seen the proud Faunus wearing nothing but a collar as she obediently pleasured Shiro, she was no councillor, just a pet with a fancy title.
The only people who could have stopped him were the Generals Ironwood and Swain who had killed each other in their little war, letting Shiro take over Atlas by making sure every member of the Council served him, Mantle being destroyed beyond repair and it's people resettled into New Vacou as well.
And of course Ozpin, but as Shiro's drones and machines proved more and more effective at defeating Grimm, Hunters were going out of style and with their fading importance Ozpin was losing a lot of influence.
Not that it mattered, since Salem and Shiro were working on a way to make sure the body snatcher stayed dead next time, so he wouldn't be a problem much longer.
Salem confused her, having been given a new body to match her old human appearance she'd gone from being the Grimm Queen to Shiro's secretary, spending most of her time spoiling her resurrected children, but she seemed happy and still controlled the Grimm to an extent.
Salem and Shiro were working on something else, and even she didn't know what that was, but she didn't hold it against them.
After all, Cinder Fall was no longer a wanted criminal, but a respected member of the New Vacou council, thanks to Shiro's mind control tech and information control wiping her slate clean, and with her wedding to Shiro in the works, along the strange scientist from Atlas, she could almost see the crown on her head.
Shiro
Some people don't understand why I was so determined to get to space, but they don't need to understand my plans since nobody else questions my decisions anymore.
Well, almost nobody.
But as I stand on the surface of the a planet in the next solar system closest to the one that holds Remnant, staring up at the rather confused God of Light, all my plans fall into place.
The four relics lay on the ground, discarded. I freed Jinn from hers and bound her to me instead, the othersI have no use for.
"Who-"
"No, no talking. You really shouldn't have left Remnant, but it doesn't really matter now. They have a new God, and you're just a relic of the past. I just wanted to look you in the face before I did this." I say calmly, watching him blink in confusion before the blast hits him, and me.
I am a firm believer in the saying 'there's no kill like overkill', and when you're trying to kill a God you should never hold back.
Even my strongest shield tech couldn't save me from the blast as the planet itself is reduced to atoms, but nothing this fossil of a God can do will save it either, and as I feel my body erased I calmly open my eyes and look out from my spaceship's observation window at the explosion.
'Is it done?' Neo asks, watching the shockwave from the explosion spread throughout the solar system, destroying several more planets before it finally ends.
Quest Complete - Deicide
Objective: Kill the God of Light
"It is, and with that the last thing that could threaten me is gone." I say as I move back to my throne, smiling as I look down at the Goddess of Dark as she stares up at me lovingly.
Gamer powers are bullshit, and even Gods can't fully escape the power of a Divine level Mind-Control Tech.
Ozpin was quite surprised to find one of his precious Gods worshipping me, but he died fully believing I was the God of Light, and that he'd failed so badly that I'd descended to the land of the mortals to do it myself.
'So… what now?'
"…I have no idea." I admit, making her giggle as she sits in my lap. "Well, we have an entire world to play with, so I'm sure we can find something fun to do."
Oh, you have so much more than that.
[Multiverse Travel Unlocked]
Huh.
Well, you know what's better than conquering a single world? Conquering all of them.
I have a discord server (technically someone else's but my name is on the server so it's basically mine) with a bunch of other authors and a load of porn. Here's the link for that: discord .gg/wd3tUYWVCd
I also have a bad P word that FF doesn't like, what's on it? Right now, nothing that you can't find elsewhere and I don't know if that will change to be honest, I don't like the idea of paywalling content but I also like money to fund my pizza and games addiction, so here's the link for that as well: Pat reon TheDarkWolfShiro
Author's Note: So, I've been giving this some thought and I've come to a conclusion. The Freedom rewrite seems to be going much better than the Original and Shiro (the character not me) deserves the same love that Kuro has been enjoying.
I can do this so much better, and I want to.
At this point it's been obvious for a whole that Shiro was going to win, he had too much going for him not to, so I decided to give this the conquest treatment and give it a sped up ending to show just how he was going to win.
