He grows more vindictive and vengeful as the series progresses and we all know where that led. He also comes off as rather selfish in his relationship with Katniss, asking for more than she's willing to give and, at times, he seems to try and make her feel guilty about her feelings for him or lack thereof) Star Wars: Padme( she seems very naïve. it was good to have faith in the good of people, but she seems to take it to a almost delusional level. also, despite numerous instances where this was taken advantage off by the Separatists, she doesn't seem to be able to learn from her mistakes), Rey(She has no personality aside from a lack of knowledge) Star Wars Legends: Jaina(Abandoned Jacen) Shadowhunters universe: Sebastian( I don't get why so many people like him. Almost until the moment he dies, he is a complete psychopath with no redeeming qualities. I mean, he even tried to rape Clary for goodness sake! How people can possibly like him is beyond me) Young Justice: M'ggan( Tried to mind-rape Conner and did to Kaldur!) The Originals: Hayley while she was married to Jackson(I had always liked her and still like her but after she married Jackson, she became unlikable very quickly. without a second thought, she turned her back on the Mikaelsons like they were nothing to her. She basically did whatever Jackson told her lie she was his slave instead of his wife. I was happy when Jackson died because that was when Hayley started to become likable again ), Elijah(I loved him in TVD, but since the Originals started, he has slowly become Hayley's lapdog. There are moments where I like him and moments where I hate him, but the moments where I like him are becoming fewer and fewer. He's becoming more and more hypocritical the longer the series goes on. He never takes into account his own faults, his own indiscretions, always blaming Klaus or the infamous Red Door. He goes around acting like he's a Vampire version of a god when I think he's as much a demon as Klaus), Davina(in season one, I liked her. However, in season two and three, she has just become this whinny brat who thinks she is the solution to the problem, when really she is as much a part of the problem as the Mikaelsons) Smallville: Lana( selfish witch who constantly hurts Clark and endangers those he cares about), Pete (I liked him initially, but the moment he found out Clark's secret, h became a jackass who constantly blamed Clark for ruining his life) Arrowverse: Felicity( in the first two seasons, she was one of my favorite characters, but over the course of season three and four, she has been stripped of all the qualities that make her relatable and likable. All she seems to do anymore is hack and whine about the choices Oliver makes, even if they are necessary. I just cannot understand how people can continue to support this character who is so whiny, bitchy, and self-absorbed that she makes Bella Swan look like Katniss Everdeen by comparison!), Iris(She's selfish, hypocritical, bossy, arrogant, and treats everyone around her like crap and gets away with it), Alex( Nothing about her I dislike per say, but I find her unnecessary. I never understood the need for Kara to have an adoptive sister except to make the show have more female leads. And the writers never did anything to make me care about this character, its like they just assumed I would care about her because she's a woman and a badass. In season two, which would have been the appropriate time to expand on Alex's character aside from just being Kara's sister and an agent, they instead used the season to make Alex the show's LGBT representation and Alex's storyline was completely consumed by it, she did very little else in season two aside from come out. Alex also demonstrates some very self involved tendencies throughout seasons two and three, which turned me off her character), Kendra (I honestly have to give the writers credit, it takes a special kind of incompetence to screw up one of the greatest female superheroes the way they did. She is nothing like Hawkgirl and just so annoying. And can someone please give me a sock or something so I can shove it down her throat so I don't have to hear 'such time ago I was barista?'), Rip (He's very self-serving and manipulative, willing to sacrifice his own team like pawns with little redeeming qualities. And after the whole Ava mess, he is a villain in all but name), Nora West-Allen (I was open to her until the writer's started treating her like she was more important than characters who had been here for seasons. And then, once she kept going back to Thawne despite knowing what he did to Barry and his mother, I was done with her. And honestly, she just has very little character development over the course of the season. Even when she's supposedly learning from her mistakes, she still acts the same way and except when she dared to criticize the almighty Iris, whenever she is called on a mistake, the show tries to justify her actions) Once upon a time: Emma (while I don't really dislike her, I often feel frustrated by the writers need to remind us how important she is, as well as the fact that the writers go out of their way to protect her from the consequences of her actions Also, I don't like how she assumes that she has the right to keep Henry away from Regina. She asked for a closed adoption, therefore she legally has no rights to him. What kind of message does that sent to adoptive parents watching the show that she seems to be able to take Henry away from Regina at the drop of a hat?) Rumple(In season three, he was one of my favorite characters, but from season four, he gets progressively worse. He basically makes Neal's sacrifice worth nothing because he goes around backstabbing everyone, even Henry, all the time. Even Belle gave up on him at one point and I wish he had stayed away from her. Honestly, if anyone deserved not to get a happy ending, it was Rumple) MCU: Foggy Nelson (He's supposed to be the comic relief, but he's just not funny. Also, he's a dick about Matt being Daredevil), Karen Paige(She's just not interesting. Also, like Foggy, she's not very nice to Matt about being Daredevil, even before she found out she wasn't exactly kind to Matt), Daisy Johnson (I loved her as Skye, but not as Daisy. she seems like a second rate Melinda May with an ego and her plot has gone nowhere for three seasons straight and seems to be above criticism), Peter Parker(Spider-Man is my my favorite superhero of all time but the MCU version isn't Spider-Man. Just about all aspects of the character have been removed in order to make Peter an Iron Man fanboy. Even Tony replaces Uncle Ben as Peter's greatest regret), Shuri (It took me a while to figure out why I dislike her so much but ultimately, she's a typical teenager: she's condescending, disrespectful, and thinks she's smarter than anyone else) Teen Wolf: Jackson(Okay, first off Colton Hayes is one of my favorite actors. That being said, I detest the character of Jackson. He's just a bully and a dick who has only one redeeming quality: he does seem to genuinely love Lydia, but even that is tarnished by the fact that he treated her like crap for most of the first two seasons. Frankly, the show is a lot better without him) Sarah Conner Chronicles: Riley (she was just annoying. I get that she was supposed to be a foil to Cameron and an obstacle to come between her and John, but literally every time she was on screen, I started losing interest in the episode) The 100: Jasper (The first two seasons, I liked him, not so much his last two seasons on the show. I know, I know, he's got PTSD, but it wasn't shown as PTSD. It was shown as Jasper being a dick), Finn (He's a walking contradiction. He holds himself up as this righteous, moral person, but he sleeps with Clarke days after meeting her with no regard to his girlfriend Raven on the Ark who he conveniently doesn't mention to Clarke. And he never tells her the truth either, Raven has to put it together on her own. He's a coward and a jackass), Lexa (I've tried to like her, I have. But ultimately, I can never get passed the fact that she can leave Clarke, who she claims to love, and her people to die and not lose sleep over it using some pretty BS logic. It's one thing to have to think with your head over your heart. It's another to use that as a justification to stab your allies in the back) Buffyverse: Riley(He is, by far, the most boring character in the entire Buffyverse. Whether he is playing the role of a college student, a government lapdog, or a member of the Scoobies, he still portrays the same boring personality. There simply isn't much personality to this guy, no hidden depths), Kennedy(To her credit, Kennedy certainly had a lot to live up to by filling the shoes of Tara, God rest her soul. However, from day one I didn't really like her that much and my dislike for the character only grew as time went on. She is nothing but an arrogant, whiny, self-entitled brat. The only reason this character exists is because The writers caved under the accusations of Homophobia in the wake of Tara's tragic death near the end of season six. Accusations that were, of course, ridiculous because why create such an amazing character like Tara if they were Homophobic?), Kate(I liked her up until the episode where her father was killed. While I certainly felt bad for her, it must be hard to lose the only family you have left, her unjustly blaming Angel for it and continuing to blame Angel for things that were in no way his fault became annoying very quickly), Robin(His obsession with Slayers seems to be a creepy projection for his mommy issues. Even his attempt to kill Spike is about his mommy issues, it got old very quickly), Conner in season four (Its not even about the fact he was an annoying little jerk. Its the fact that he doesn't change at all. He's the same guy all season long. He receives no character development whatsoever. But at least season five redeemed him) Supergirl: James(nothing against the actor or the character, but this is not Jimmy Olsen. Jimmy Olsen is a geeky, awkward guy, not a smooth, confident man. And in season two, I honestly think he should just be written out of the show. He's just become an arrogant and self involved asshole) Charmed: Phoebe (There was a time where she was my favorite sister after Piper, but as the series progressed, she became more and more self-involved and selfish) Billie(If you look Mary-Sue in the dictionary, you'll find her picture. She is just so annoying! And the actress was just so bad! Honestly, why are the sisters okay with letting this complete stranger know all their family's secrets? Why should I care about Billie's character arc? And why is she forgiven after literally killing two of the sisters using the weakest logic to turn on them?) Grey's Anatomy: Christina (Honestly, I really don't get the appeal She's a glory hound who has betrayed nearly everyone she claims is her friend in order to get a head, I really don't understand why people like her), Derek (He's praised as being this Romeo, but when you look at how he treats the people in his life, specifically Addison, Mark and Amelia, he comes off looking like a douche) NCIS: New Orleans: Brody (I just never found her al that interesting as a character), Percy(She always came off as a fake to me and her loyalty to the team felt fickle at best, not to mention she didn't have much chemistry with anyone) Why Anakin from the Clone Wars is the definitive Anakin Skywalker: Anakin Skywalker is the central character of the Star Wars universe. But I think we can all agree that the portrayal of Anakin in the prequel trilogy left much to be desired. Even though I liked Anakin in the Prequels, I can see the flaws in the writing. But Anakin in the Clone Wars 3D cartoon series actually fixed much of Anakin's portrayal in the prequels. Which is why I consider Anakin in the Clone Wars to be the definitive Anakin Skywalker. Here's the reasons why: 1: It proves Obi-Wan's statement: In A New Hope, when Obi-Wan is telling Luke about his father, he describes Anakin as 'The best star pilot in the galaxy, a cunning warrior, and a good friend.' However, from the prequels, none of this is true. Which is why it is such a relief to see this Anakin brought to life in CW. 1A: The best Star Pilot: In the prequels, we only briefly get to see Anakin fly a ship, never really a lot to gauge his skill. But in The Clone Wars, we see him fly numerous times. From the assault on Kamino, he is effortlessly able to evade the attacks from The Separatists, while most of his squad is not. This speaks volumes about Anakin's skill as a pilot. This is just one of many examples throughout the CW than we see Anakin's skills as a pilot and show case that he is indeed the best pilot in the galaxy. 1B: A cunning warrior: In the prequels, we see Anakin is a skilled lightsaber duelist, but not a cunning warrior, as he relies mostly on brute strength to win his battles. However, throughout the Clone Wars, we see that, even before his fall to the dark side, Anakin was a skilled tactician. Anakin is able to charm the slave owner in the Slave arc into letting him in, luring them into a false sense of security so he, Ashoka, and Obi-Wan can free all the Slaves. Anakin is able to out maneuver a Stealth ship and we see numerous times that Anakin is able to play General Grievous like a piece of chess. Anakin's skill as a tactician is clear throughout the six seasons of CW. 1C: A good friend: In the prequels, outside Palatine, the only friend Anakin seems to have is Obi-Wan, and we only see this friendship a few times. However, in Clone Wars, the relationship they have backs up Obi-Wan's claim a lot more. We see numerous times how Anakin and Obi-Wan joke and playfully bicker like brothers, best seen when Anakin and Obi-Wan are chained to Dooku and give him a hard time throughout the entire episode. But it truly shows the depth of there bond during the arc when Obi-Wan fakes his death and Anakin's grief is so apparent and he goes on a vengeful mission to avenge his master's death. But Anakin's friendships are more widened to also include R2 and Ashoka. When R2 is captured by Grievous, Anakin is hell bent on finding and saving the droid, even being unwilling to replace R2 as a droid until they find him. Anakin is shown to care about Ashoka greatly, being unwilling to let his apprentice go. He is more worried for her than a master should be in the eyes of the Jedi when she goes missing and when the entire Jedi Order turns there back on her when she is framed for bombing the temple, Anakin is the only one to stand by her and frantically tries to clear her name. Anakin is also shown to have a fairly good relationship with Yoda, being able to go to Yoda for advice, openly admitting they are friends and helping Yoda escape the temple when the Council believes Yoda is suffering from dementia. Anakin also has a great relationship with his most trusted Clone, Captain Rex. 2: The chosen one: In the prequel trilogy, we are constantly told Anakin is the chosen one, destined to bring balance to the force, but we don't really see it. I could go on and on about how we see this in the Clone Wars, but the best example is in the three episode arc when He, Obi-Wan, and Ashoka are sent to a planet that is latterly a manifestation of The Force. In one of the most epic moments in the entire series, Obi-Wan and Ashoka are captured by the manifestations of the light and dark side. Rather than choose between saving them, Anakin uses his powers to save them both. If that is not balance, I don't know what is. 3: His fall is more fleshed out: In the prequels, Anakin basically just turns to save Padme. But in Clone Wars, we see there is more to it than that. Anakin's relationship with the Jedi deteriorates throughout the six seasons, particularly after Obi-Wan keeps the fact he wasn't really dead from him and after Ashoka leaves the Jedi Order because of what the Order did to her. In a unfinished scene of what would have been the seventh season of Clone Wars, we even see Anakin express his anger and resentment over what happened to Ashoka to Obi-Wan. We constantly see Palpatine manipulating Anakin, grooming him for the events of episode three, particularly planting the seeds of his deteriorating relationship with Obi-Wan and the council. We see how Anakin wants to desperately bring peace to the Republic, even expressing how he does not think it's corrupt, to the point of naivety. Tony Stark: hero or villain? As a child, I adored Tony right from the first Iron Man film. However, really looking at Tony's character throughout the MCU, I have to wonder if Tony can be considered a hero or a villain, since the word Villain seems to fit him more right from the second Iron Man. Iron Man 2: What made the first film so great was Tony's character Arc of a weapons dealer and irresponsible CEO who realized he did more harm that good turning his company around and deciding to undo all the harm he had done. But the second film pretty much undoes all the character he has in the first film. Tony is just portrayed as an arrogant jackass all throughout the film. He's constantly bragging about his achievements and his decision to keep the Iron Man suit to himself, rather than being because he wants to keep it out of the wrong hands, just comes off as Tony having too big an ego to let them have it. Tony's arrogance even creates a villain, as the only reason Justin Hammer becomes an antagonist in the film is because Tony publicly humiliates him. We are repeatedly shown scenes where Hammer and Whiplash watch television and getting pissed off every time they see Tony on screen, so Tony's ego technically creates two villains. And Tony's downward spiral is poor writing. He alienates everyone around him because of his decision to keep his poor health to himself and I'm not even gonna touch on how he endangers people by fighting Rhodey in a house full of innocent bystanders. Iron Man 3: This is more Tony being a poor protagonist than an actual villain, but still, I have to cover this one. Following Avengers, where Tony was at his most heroic, there was no place for Tony's character to go but down. The moral of this movie is that Tony is a dick to everyone. The movie's villain only became a villain because Tony was dick to him years earlier. Tony is even a dick to Harley, who is the only person trying to help him at his lowest point. Tony's ego continues to put people in danger, as he gives a known terrorist his address, which nearly gets himself and Pepper killed. Tony is obviously suffering from PTSD, but because of his ego, he won't talk about it with Pepper or Rhodey or get help, even after this nearly causes one of his suits to nearly strangle Pepper. Age of Ultron: And here we return to Tony being a villain. After being shown a vision of The Avengers defeat, Tony decides it would be a great idea to plug Ultron, a program he realized was flawed but didn't do anything about, into unknown alien tech without telling any of his teammates but Bruce Banner. Predictably, this goes horribly wrong. Because Ultron had Tony as a template, it decides the best way to save the earth is to destroy the human race. You think Tony would learn his lesson from this, but no, he does the exact same thing with Vision, all but forcing Bruce to help him. Its a miracle that Vision didn't end up becoming a second Ultron. And lets not forget the only reason any of this happened was because of Tony's years of irresponsibility as CEO of Stark Industries. Civil War: Tony, wracked with guilt over Ultron, is looking for absolution and decides The Accords will give him that. And his need for absolution makes him increasingly irrational over the course of the movie. He dismisses Steve's concerns about The Accords, makes Wanda a glorified prisoner at the compound, and tries to manipulate Steve into signing The Accords. He refuses to listen to Steve's warning about The Winter Soldiers, which leads to the fight at the airport and several of his teammates' incarceration on The Raft. Yet Tony does nothing to help them, even after he himself breaks The Accords twice. And lets not forget that Tony tires to murder an innocent man for something he ha d no control over. Spider-Man Homecoming: One again, Tony causes the threat by putting Adrian Toomes out of work, all but forcing Toomes to turn to a life of crime to support his family, despite the fact that it would have been quiet easy for Tony to set up Toomes with a job. And Tony is just an overall terrible mentor to Peter. Basically kidnapping him in Civil War, giving him faulty Intel, then abandoning him after he's done with Peter. He doesn't tell Peter he called the FBI on Peter's Intel, which causes Peter to mess up their operation. Then, Tony turns it around and makes it Peter's fault when Tony is the one who didn't keep Peter in the loop. And can we just talk about how messed up it is that Tony gave a teenager military grade weapons? Seriously, what was Tony thinking? Infinity War: Tony was good here for the most part but still, I have to go over this. First, Tony can't put aside his wounded pride and hurt feelings even when the fate of the universe is at stake. If he is that petty, maybe Natasha's original assessment of him is right. He then makes the utterly stupid decision to go fight Thanos, alone, with only a guy who was just tortured and a kid for back up, knowing Thanos had at least two Infinity Stones and had already defeated Thor and Hulk without the aide of either. At what point did Tony think this was a good plan? When Strange looked into the future, he saw only one path to victory, but prior to them arriving on Titan, there were likely a lot more options. Endgame: Again, Tony was great here, but this still needs to be talked about. First, Tony's rant against Steve not only shows Ultron always would have happened regardless of Wanda, but it sounds pretty much word for word like Alexander Pierce's speech about Project Insight in the Winter Soldier. So basically, Tony agrees with Hydra. Let that sink in. Then, Tony at first refuses to help bring back trillions of people just so he can have his happy family. I get it, Tony has much more to lose this time, but you have to marvel at the utter selfishness of this act. Far from home: And here is where Tony's character development is completely stripped away. Not only does Tony once again create the villain, he has created his own project Insight that spies on people and goes after them with drones based on their police record. Maybe Tony hasn't changed as much as we thought if he would do something like this. In conclusion, is Tony a hero or a villain? While his intentions may be good, Tony ends up creating almost every threat he and his Avenger Teammates go up against. He's a lot like Batman when you think about it. Like Batman, Tony creates his fair share of villains and threats. Also like Batman, he seems himself as the hero of the story and refuses to change, no matter how much damage he does. There are flawed heroes and then there's Tony Stark, a villain in hero's clothing. The Jedi Order: warriors of peace or manipulative villains? In the Star Wars franchise, The Jedi order is portrayed as being the ultimate good in a galaxy plunged into darkness. However, when you look at the franchise, a disturbing pattern of behavior emerges. This pattern includes, but it not limited to, manipulation, deceit, and even violates of their own biblical code. This is most apparent in the order's relationships with the two main characters, Anakin and his son, Luke. The Chosen One: Anakin Skywalker is unnaturally gifted with The Force, to the point that Qui-Gon Jinn is convinced Anakin is he prophesized Chosen One, the one who will bring balance to The Force. Objectively speaking, it is a good idea, prophecies aside, to train someone that gifted with The Force so that this person doesn't grow up to abuse their powers. But the Jedi are so stuck in their ways they refuse. Even after they accept Anakin, Anakin is basically pawned off an Obi-Wan, who is fresh out of his own apprenticeship under Qui-Gon. I'm sure Obi-Wan did the best he could under the circumstances, but he was in no way ready to take on an apprentice, much less someone with Anakin's baggage. Anakin needed a master like Yoda, which the council would have known. It's almost like Anakin and Obi-Wan were being set up to fail. Even after being accepted into the order, Anakin is, backed up by both Legends and canon, made to feel unwelcome by the other Jedi. He is made to feel isolated, unaccepted, and like an outsider. Something that Palpatine picked up on and used, presenting himself as a friend to Anakin and fueling every negative thought and feeling Anakin has about The Order. When Anakin is haunted by visions of his mother's death, Obi-Wan dismisses them with 'dreams pass in time', despite the fact that Jedi frequently have visions of the future. When Anakin's visions ultimately come true, Anakin no doubt held a lot of resentment towards Obi-wan and the Jedi by extension for not lifting a finger to help him save his mother. Which explains a lot about his desperation to save Padme when he sees her die in childbirth in a vision. The Jedi were also not above using Anakin for their own means. When Obi-Wan needed to fake his death to infiltrate The Separatists, he wanted Anakin to see it, to use Anakin's grief to sell it. And The Jedi never once attempted to tell Anakin the truth, to prevent Anakin's pain, until Anakin had all but worked it out himself. The Jedi also made Anakin spy on Palpatine, who Anakin at the time saw as a dear friend, despite Anakin's great reluctance. The Jedi used Anakin as a tool, but did not afford him any respect or trust. They saw him as a tool, but not a person. The one exception is Obi-Wan, but even he used Anakin from time to time. The Redeemer: While The Jedi's treatment of Anakin is very disappointing, their treatment of Luke is simply appalling. Almost from the moment he meets Obi-Wan, Luke was being manipulated. Luke is told a very twisted, warped version of the truth that ensures Luke would hate Vader and want to kill him. It also ensured that Luke would not believe Vader if he did find out the truth, something that proved true. After being told that Vader is Anakin, it was not until Luke heard it confirmed by Yoda that he finally accepted it, a year later. And it is clear that Yoda and Obi-Wan never intended on telling Luke the truth. This tells us two things. The first is obviously that Yoda and Obi-Wan were planning on having Luke kill his own father without ever telling him the truth, which is manipulative and deceitful on so many levels. But second, this is full of contradiction to the Jedi Code. The Jedi are against hatred and revenge, unless it suits them it seems. Obi-Wan and Yoda were all too happy to let Luke hate and want revenge on Vader as long as it suited their purposes. The only thing they didn't count on was that, rather than killing his father, Luke would try to redeem him instead. In a scene that clearly echoes his father's visions, Luke is shown a vision of Han and Leia's suffering at Vader's hands. Yoda and Obi-wan both know this vision is true, but both tell Luke to continue his training, to let his friends die. What makes this even more disturbing is that they do this with full knowledge that Leia is Luke's sister. The Order: In conclusion, The Jedi had good intentions, but their methods raise a lot of questions about how trust worthy they are. Anakin and Luke were both used as tools by The Jedi. While what happened with Luke can be argued was a necessary evil in a galaxy ruled by The Sith, the same cannot be said for Anakin. Anakin was failed by The Jedi. They made Anakin feel isolated and alone in a time when he needed to feel like he belonged to something, they saw him as a tool to be used rather than a person with thoughts and feelings. They expected Anakin to carry out their will, to have blind faith and trust in them, but did not give him faith and trust in return. Anakin was not the only one failed by The Jedi, as there were others such as Ashoka Tano and Barriss Offee who were failed as well. Anakin was simply the last in a long line of people let down by The Jedi. Darth Vader was very much a monster of their own making, as Sidious used all their failures to turn Anakin against The Jedi. The Jedi's inability to remind themselves what it meant to be a living being is what ultimately sealed their fate. About my writing: I am usually a fairly laid back person for the most part. However, one thing I take extremely seriously is my writing. No matter what fandom I am writing, I try to keep it realistic. I write things with a sense of realism and it usually has a dark tone to it, although how much usually varies on what I am writing. My main fandoms these days is the Arrowverse, mainly Arrow and Flash, although I tend to include the Legends of Tomorrow universe and occasionally Supergirl. Although I do not simply limit myself to the Arrowverse, as I also dabble in the Vampire Diaries/Originals universe, Smallville, and occasionally Teen Wolf, Star Wars, X-Men movies, the MCU, and Buffyverse among others. Introspective is not one of my strong points, although I do try to get inside the heads of the characters in my stories at times. My stories are very plot driven and while they do have romantic relationships, it is never a major part of the story. I don't do drama or melodrama, so you won't find that in my stories. For my update schedule, I try to post something at least one a day or every other day. It all depends on if I get the inspiration for what I update. For reviews, I'm usually pretty lax. I accept constructive criticism if it is, as I said, constructive. But if it's just tearing the story or me down because you disagree with something I've done or you're just whining about a pairing, I delete it or block you. And if your review really has nothing to do with my story, then it goes to the delete pile. My preferred pairings: so, these are the pairings i prefer and if you read my stories, chances are you'll find at least one of them in here. Comics I do not have a vast knowledge of comics, so these are only judged on what I know Bruce Wayne/Selina Kyle(While Selina can be selfish, she loves Bruce and when it comes down to it, chooses him and helps him out when needed and has helped him on several occasions in his mission.) Dick Grayson/Barbara Gordon(These two have a strong bond. While Dick may have interest in other women, his heart will always lead him back to Barbara) Dick Grayson/Helena Bertinelli(Dick is a good, humanizing influence on Helena's otherwise violent, brutal methods. I could see it working) Bucky Barnes/Natasha Romanoff(Have been forced to be killers by an organization and now on a path to redemption. They can understand and relate to each other better than anyone else) Arrowverse Oliver/Sara(Sara seems to have the most connection with Oliver and is able to understand him better than even Laurel. Their experiences make it so that only one is able to completely understand the other. And Oliver has more chemistry with her than with any other female on the show. All this makes Sara arguably Oliver's best option romantically. The only thing really keeping them apart is the fact that Sara, when she first was introduced in season two, let the darkness consume her, which did not make for a good, stable relationship with Oliver. Now however, since neither of them has that problem, I think they'd be pretty good together) Oliver/Nyssa(First, I don't even wanna hear the argument that Nyssa is a lesbian. This is fanfiction, people write stories where straight characters are either gay or bi, so it's pretty hypocritical to make that argument if you don't have any problem with those stories. Oliver and Nyssa have a lot in common, both are warriors, both are very dedicated to protecting people, even if they have to use excessive force to do that, and there is a definitely a few moments in the show where you get the feeling that, if Nyssa wasn't a lesbian, she'd make a play for Oliver) Oliver/Helena(the first episode, I liked it, as there was a very Batman/Catwoman vibe. But the following episodes revealed she was a psychopath. However, with how they ended it with Helena on the path to redemption, I would not have minded Helena being brought back as a love interest) Barry/Caitlin(There is certainly a lot of unexplored chemistry between these two. They definitely have a connection and perhaps the only reason neither consider each other a viable romantic option is that Barry has been hung up on Iris, almost obsessively so, for so long that he chooses not to see other girls, which he himself admitted somewhat in season one) Barry/Patty(Lots of chemistry, both have tons in common with their personalities, their interests, both even have a little darkness in them because of, go figure, the loss of a parent. What's not to like about these two?) Cisco/Lisa(Get a real Batman/Catwoman vibe from these two. Lots of good chemistry and Cisco's brief interactions with Lisa were better than his other relationships in the show combined) Smallville Clark/Lois(These two are my preferred pairing for Clark. They had a greater connection than Clark had with almost anyone, with a few exceptions obviously. Clark was more open with Lois than he was with most people, even before they became aware of the obvious romantic feelings they had for each other. Plus, I think the Lana thing was drawn out for too long and it old after the first couple of season, especially after season six where we all knew Clark was gonna end up with Lois. I think they should've ended Clana in season six and had the Clois relationship start to develop as a romance in season six. Would've saved us all some painful assassination of Clark's character) Clark/Alicia(Speaking of assassination, let's talk about this. I honestly loved these two together, as short of their time that we had. Clark obviously did fall in love with her, not high-school love, but real, all consuming love. It was nice to see Clark let his guard down, something he didn't do with most people at this point in the serious, and just be open with someone outside his parents. But then the writers had to ruin it by making Clark say that bold face lie that he never loved Alicia! Bull. Crap) Clark/Tess(They have an interesting dynamic that I could easily see evolving into more. From the stories of them I've read together, I would've liked to see this in the show) Oliver/Tess(They had the best chemistry out of any couple in the series. Yes, he cheated on her, but it was a less mature Ollie. And there are several moments in season nine and ten where, if there was no Chloe and Tess was not on the other side, you feel like Oliver would give being with her another shot) Oliver/Chloe(They're good for each other in my opinion. Neither of them are afraid to call each other on their shit and there is a clear level of trust between them, even when they're at odds they still have each other's backs) Oliver/Dinah( They had a good dynamic and I would not have minded seeing this explored in the show. Since Smallville did wonders with Clois, which is toxic in the comics, I would have loved to see what they did with this) Buffyverse Angel/Cordelia(This relationship is crucial to both of their character development throughout Angel. They are each other's confidants, best friends, and so much more. When ever Angel falters or wavers in his commitment, Cordelia pulls him back from the edge. Angel is willing to do whatever it takes, even kill, to save her. This is one of the most natural and relatable relationships in the franchise) Angel/Darla(These two have such a complicated love spanning centuries and I would've liked to see it explored more in present day) Willow/Tara(By far one of the most relatable relationships on television, this one might be my favorite in the franchise. Like I said, it is very relatable as Tara encourages Willow to come out. They both made each other a better person and when Willow started going off the rails, Tara put a stop to it and put Willow on the path to getting help. But because the writers are dicks, Tara died. I'm still upset!) Willow/Oz (These two were cute together. Oz was the first person to truly see Willow for who she was and Oz helped Willow finally move on from Xander. It was a little disappointing to see Oz leave, and his finale departure was horribly written, but we got Willow/Tara, so can't really complain) Giles/Jenny(They had good chemistry and a great dynamic, I rooted for these two the most in the early seasons. Jenny's death and Giles finding her in his apartment will never not be painful) Xander/Cordelia(While not my favorite pairing, it was the most humorous. Their scenes were both hilarious and endearing but they had to break up due to Joss Whedon deciding to write Cordelia out of Buffy so she could go to Angel in the stupidest way possible) Buffy/Ensouled Spike(After Seeing Red, I never thought I could like Spike with Buffy again, but the writers proved me wrong. Spike with a soul finally became the man Buffy deserved, someone she could love. If they had gotten together, I would have liked it) Wesley/Fred(They had a great dynamic and Fred was good for Wesley. But, because Joss Whedon is a dick, Fred died. Her death is the first Buffyverse scene that made me ball my eyes out, although others have come close) Wesley/Lilah(Dysfunctional may they be, the writers did an excellent job of making a compelling, star-crossed love story with these two. I honestly prefer them over Wesley/Fred. Wes and Lilah are just two who care about each other but can't ever be together because of their ideals, typical Joss Whedon) Gunn/Gwen(May not last long, but they had some great chemistry and after Fred, I think Gunn needed someone like her) Angel/Gwen(Honestly, they had great chemistry and their lines in 4x02 are full of sexeul innuendos. I think it could have been a fun pairing) Angel/Nina(They had a great dynamic and chemistry. Nina was the closest thing Angel had to a normal relationship and, after everything with Cordelia and Jasmine in season four, I think Angel needed someone like her) Buffy/Faith(Not usually a fan of non canon slash pairings, but these two just have such chemistry in their scenes. There's a subtext here and a lot of what went down in season thee would have made a lot more sense if there was a secret relationship behind the scenes) Willow/Faith(Like I said, not usually a fan of non canon slash pairings, but the concept of Willow and Faith post season six is just such an interesting possibility. I think they could relate to each other as they both took a walk on the dark side and struggle with forgiving themselves. I think Faith could be good for Willow and let her cut loose once in a while) Giles/Joyce(Cliché may it have been, it would have been interesting to see how this would have affected the dynamic of the Summers family, since Giles was already playing father figure to Buffy and Dawn) Teen Wolf Stiles/Lydia(In the first two seasons, I found it to be creepy most of the time. However, from season three on, I Really liked the dynamic between them. I thought they had good chemistry and, as for the lack of buildup, if you rewatch season three and five and know what to look for, you can see the writers were building it up subtly) Scott/Kira(Unlike the other one, you know which one I'm talking about, they actually have chemistry and some stuff in common. That's a pretty solid foundation for a relationship) Scott/Malia(A pairing I didn't expect, but it really works. They have a lot of good chemistry and they compliment each other in ways Stiles, Allison, and Kira just didn't. Malia calls Scott on his shit and allows him to see when he needs to be more aggressive in his approach and Scott pulls her back from her 'kill or be killed' mindset and teaches her the value of teamwork and friendship. I only wish we'd gotten more of it in the show) MCU Steve/Natasha(There are several moments where you could see this becoming more than friendship. And I'm curious to see if these two could happy, because I could see them becoming a fun, sexy couple. But it has to be written in a way that doesn't just make it about the romance) Steve/Sharon(Chris and Emily had great chemistry and Steve And Sharon had a good dynamic. But the writers pushed Sharon aside to idealize Steve's relationship with Peggy. Which is unfortunate if half the things I've heard about Steve and Sharon in the comics are true) Hawkeye/Mockingbird(No offense to Hunter, but it seems like they just did the thing with Bobbi in AOS to do the Hawkingbird thing without having Hawkeye. Could've saved a lot of trouble by just introducing her as Clint's wife in Age of Ultron. Would've saved a lot of trouble by stopping the forced Natasha/Bruce thing and not destroyed any possibility of a Hawkeye movie) Clint/Laura(I was on the fence about this, because Clint having an instant family was horribly done and just seem to try and push the Nat/Bruce thing. But Laura was an awesome partner for Clint and ultimately, Endgame showed how much having a family is a part of Clint's character) Tony/Pepper(A little unrealistic, due to Pepper having to clean up Tony's messes for years on end and Tony can treat Pepper horribly at times, albeit without meaning to. But Pepper does make Tony a better person and I do enjoy their interactions, especially in the first Iron Man and Endgame) Natasha/Bucky(They could relate to each other better than anyone else. Both have been forced to be killers due organizations and both are on a path to redemption. They are the Sara and Oliver of the MCU) Matt/Elektra(I consider these two Oliver and Sara to the extreme. Two people who love each other and can relate and understand each other better than anyone but unable to coexist because of their different viewpoints) Scott/Hope(wasn't really sure about these two in Ant-Man, but Ant-Man and The Wasp really won me over. They have good chemistry and a great dynamic) Wanda/Bucky(They have a lot of similarities. Both were used by Hydra and intended to be a weapon. Both unintentionally caused a lot of pain and death and both are working to redeem themselves. I think it's an interesting possibility) Fitz/Simmons(They're a really geeky Oliver/Sara to me. Both are constantly their for another, their relationship eventually became the emotional heart of the show. One of the best written relationships in television) Bobbi/Hunter(Great paring. There is passion and caring between them. With a little more honesty from Bobbi, I think they would have stayed together) X-Men movies Logan/Jean(I feel like Jean is Logan's only viable option because I don't see any thing beyond friendship with the other X-Girls. While there is Mariko, she was only a one-off character. I find this relationship to be the most compelling romantic wise, as you can see how much Logan cares for her and she can't stop caring for him. As they say, if you truly love someone, then you would never have fallen for someone else) Bobby/Kitty(I never felt any draw to his relationship with Rogue, it felt forced to me. There was never any real connection between them besides Rogue finding someone willing to take that jump with her. Bobby and Kitty definitely have a connection and there is a lot of chemistry there) Star Wars Anakin and Padme(If written in a way that Anakin does not come off as a psycho stalker and Padme is not just useless and actually does something, yeah I could go for it) Han/Leia(I don't even know why I have to defend this pairing) Luke/Mara(He helps her free herself from Palpatine's influence and she keeps him from being too naïve) Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit: Aragorn/Arwen(I wished we'd gotten a bit of them to develop it a bit more, but its still a great relationship. Renouncing an immortal life to live a life with love, well, do I need to say it?) Percy Jackson: Percy/Annabeth(This one surprised me but it works. They trust each other more than anyone and are good for each other. Sometimes Percy needs someone to pull him back and look at the big picture and Annabeth needs to relax a bit) Percy/Thalia(I wouldn't have been opposed to it. They have so many things in common and all their bickering could also be seen as being in denial about certain feelings) Merlin: Arthur/Gwen(As I said before, usually I don't care for forbidden love stories. However, the show does such a good job with this one I can't help myself. The writers did such a good job writing this relationship, they make you care about this, they make you root for it. Gwen has no problem calling Arthur on his shit and Arthur respects her for it. She's one of the few women in Camelot to treat him like a person and not just the prince and ultimately, Arthur's transition from spoiled, self absorbed bully to the king of legend would not have been possible without her) Merlin/Morgana(This one had a lot of potential. They had a good dynamic and great chemistry, they can relate to each other better than anyone, due to having magic and living in fear of being exposed. This could've bene great, but the plot demanded Morgana become a villain) Charmed: Leo/Piper( The actors made it work very well. Usually, I'm not a fan of forbidden loves, as I think they usually end in tragedy, but this one really worked and ultimately became the emotional heart of Charmed) Paige/Henry(It was a little rushed, but the actors made it work. Given Paige's history and genetic need to help people, who better for her to end up with than a parole officer?) Disliked pairings: These are pairings you will never see me write unless it's a breakup or to show why it wouldn't work. Comics Clark Kent/Diana Prince(Aside from surface similarities (powerful, near immortal beings dedicated to protecting the innocent) they have nothing in common. Because of their immortality, they should therefore screw? Really?) Clark Kent/Lois Lane(I have a mixed opinion on these two. While I think she's a good, humanizing influence on him, I think she has treated him poorly in the past. And its implied by some of the writers that Lois cheated on him at some point) Bruce Wayne/Talia al Ghul(She constantly chose her father over him and raped him. And I'm not just talking about the Son of Batman Arc, there's a really disturbing comic panel where Bruce wakes up after she's raped him. Just no) Bruce Wayne/Diana Prince(Would likely just be a passionate fling then fizzle out, as they are too similar) Arrowverse: Oliver/Felicity(For one thing, they have no chemistry as a couple. Second, Felicity is not a very good person to Oliver. Every time they face an issue, whether it be personal or professional, Felicity has to make it about herself, like she did about his son both times. She apparently hates it when Oliver lies to her, but has no problem lying to him. And I tend to not like relationships that are emotionally abusive, which Felicity is very emotionally abusive towards Oliver) Oliver/E-1 Laurel(I have written them in the past and I do enjoy writing them. They have a lot of chemistry and Laurel understands him more than almost anyone outside of Sara and Slade. But the cheating on her repeatedly and Laurel still staying with him, showing no self respect, and the fact that Laurel showed no conflicting feelings for him in the first few episodes makes it hard for me to root for this pairing in the early seasons. And quite honestly, the harassment from the Laurel fanatics makes me have no desire to write for this ship anymore) Oliver/E-2 Laurel(Honestly, I think they had good interactions in 5x10 before Felicity ruined it. But they really just ruined it in season six by making Laurel one dimensional. And honestly, same problem with the Laurel fanatics. I'm not very likely to write for this ship anymore either, despite the fact I enjoy writing and reading it) Oliver/Kara( It's more f an opposites attract relationship than anything. I also don't think Oliver could ever be with someone who values their principles over innocent lives) Barry/Iris(They have no chemistry as a couple. And even if they did, I still would not like this couple because they were raised as brother and sister. I'm sorry, but it is just freaking weird, especially considering the father/son bond between Barry and Joe. And even that aside, Iris treats Barry like shit. She makes fun of his interests, she blames him for things that aren't his fault, she has no regard for his feelings and after 5x19, I'm not sure how anyone can ship them together) Barry/Kara( Like Oliver, I don't think Barry would ever be with someone who lets millions of people die just to feel good about herself) Sara/Snart(They really don't seem to have any chemistry as a couple. Furthermore, there was no hint on either side that either cared about each other as more than friends until it was episode fifteen) Alex/Maggie(The most unnecessary relationship on the show. Maggie was pretty much only there to tell us that Alex is gay. She had no other storyline at all aside from that stuff with her father, but that is pretty pointless since Maggie was written out two episodes later) James/Lena(I'll be honest, I don't hate this one. It did what the writers haven't been able to do in two seasons, it made James interesting. But the buildup could have been better. It's pretty weird since in the past, James has had such issues with Lena due to her being Lex's sister. And this only seems to come about because they have no idea what to do with James and since they aren't making Lena a villain for the foreseeable future, they have no idea what to do with her either, and so they just threw them together) Caitlin/Julian(It was very forced and just happened because the writers had no idea what to do with Julian following having him no longer be Alchemy. And why do they have to keep pairing Caitlin up with random characters?) Cisco/Gypsy(They have the same powers, therefore they must screw? I'm sorry, but that's a very weak foundation for a relationship. And it seems very forced to me) Wally/Jesse(Jesse has her father's ego and didn't even have the decency to end the relationship face to face. Plus, the chemistry felt forced and the relationship rushed) Nyssa/Sara(These two are okay I guess but they were only brought together through circumstance. Remove those circumstances (the League) and I don't think these two would last long as a couple) Caitlin/Harry(I'm gonna be honest, I don't get this pairing at all. Harry is almost enough to be her father and Caitlin has been shown to get very annoyed with his ego. Honestly, I think the most likely scenario for a relationship would end with Caitlin or Killer Frost murdering him in his sleep) Smallville: Clark/Lana(It was cute the first few seasons, but it was stretched on for far too long. Lana became a horrible person over the course of the relationship, constantly hurting Clark and putting those he cared about in danger. And ultimately, she just became power-hungry and someone who would not be good for Clark) Lois/Oliver(They had great chemistry but Lois being on a one woman crusade against the Green Arrow really ruined it for me) Lex/Lana(In concept, this could have been a good pairing but it was ruined by horrible execution. The fact that it was made into a love triangle with Clark did not start off good, but the fact this was used to further the Clark/Lex rivalry was beyond annoying. And as much as I dislike Lana, no one deserves what Lex did to her. Lana would have to be seriously messed up in the head to get with Lex after that) Chloe/Davis(By season eight, I was so over love triangles on this show. But the fact that all Chloe's attraction to Davis was because of Brainiac ruined it and then her going above and beyond to save Clark from him by keeping him locked up made it worse. Him killing Jimmy and then trying to kill her was just the last straw) Clark/Chloe( In the early seasons, I rooted for them at certain times. But ultimately, it was good that they never got together. If they had gotten together, they couldn't support each other they way they did in the show, the way they needed to. If they had gotten together at any point, there would always be a level of awkwardness there) Teen Wolf: Scott/Allison( No Chemistry, at all. She was a huntress, so that certainly put a damper on the relationship. She obviously knew more about Stiles being held in the basement than she was letting on and tried to kill Derek and his pack without any remorse. Why would Scott still want to be with this girl after all that? Oh yes, plot over logic) Stiles/Malia(Looking back, I don't hate the concept of it, although I will likely never read a story exclusively about them. Rather, I hate the execution. Their hookup in Eichen house was random and made little sense. And that seems to be the only basis their relationship had in season four, making it seem less like a relationship and more of an exclusive friends with benefits thing. In season five, Malia's character had evolved and her relationship with Stiles along with it, but then they broke up. Because the foundation of this relationship was very weak) Lydia/Jackson(He treated her like freaking shit during most of the first two seasons. And I suspect that Lydia's fake persona may have been the result of emotional and maybe even physical abuse when Lydia showed her true self to Jackson) Lydia/Parrish(So, they're both harbingers of death, therefor they must screw? And, to be perfectly honest, I find this relationship inappropriate and creepy for a police officer and a girl in high school) Buffyvese: Buffy/Angel(It was rushed and forced. It was also creepy. He shows up, give her advice, disappears into the shadows and Buffy is in love with him? No way, she didn't even know what love was) Buffy/Riley(There was no real build up to it and once he became Buffy's boyfriend, he was just insufferable and needy, not to mention Riley's trust issues make no sense as he had no issue working the Initiative for several more episodes after he found out about Adam) Buffy/Soulless Spike(While I did like some of their interactions in season five and six, their relationship was way too dysfunctional. It was mutual emotional and physical abuse and both seemed to have issues with consent. Buffy also could never see him as anything but an evil monster, so the relationship was always doomed) Willow/Kennedy(Willow was obviously uncomfortable with Kennedy's advances, so why are we expected to believe that three episodes later, she is now responding to them? They had no chemistry and Kennedy is someone that I just cannot see Willow being attracted to) Cordelia/Conner(The definition of 'ew'. If you change someone's diapers and then bang them, there's a problem here) Wesley/Cordelia(It was really uncomfortable to watch Wesley lust after a student. A teenage girl having a crush on an older man is one thing, him having a crush back is just creepy) Xander/Anya(I'm kind of mixed on these two to be honest. Like with Cordelia, Xander's scenes with Anya are both hilarious and endearing. But Xander is, at times, dismissive of Anya's feelings and, considering how bigoted he is towards demons, its hard to believe that Anya could be with him for so long without that being a problem. And ultimately, Xander only asked her to marry him because he thought the world was ending, his actions in season six prove it, so he strung her along for months. Xander leaving her at the altar, especially the way he did, is easily the worst thing he ever did and I don't see how they could ever come back from that) Faith/Xander(Xander really only cared about her after they slept together and Faith really didn't care for him one way or the other. The rape attempt just soured me on it even more) Buffy/Xander(While I lvoe these two as friends, Xander's crush on Buffy in early seasons and how posessive he was of her was pretty creepy) Xander/Dawn(I've never read the Buffy comics for this alone. I've heard that it was well done in the comics but they had always had a kind of brother/sister relationship which I can't get passed) Willow/Xander(Xander never saw her as anything but a friend before or after and the whole storyline was contrived or just to write out Cordelia) Faith/Robin(He jumped from Buffy to Faith way too fast and, as I said earlier, his obsession with Slayers seems to stem from his mommy issues) Gunn/Fred(They just never clicked as a couple for me, I found it forced) Spike/Drusilla(Even ignoring that Dru is nuts, she seems to bring out the worst in Spike, especially when he was trying to be better than what he was) Giles/Any Scooby(Giles is the father figure of the Scoobies, it disgusts me on how someone people ship him with Buffy or Willow) Angel/Faith (They have more of a sibling like dynamic and Angel is her savior. I also feel like Faith needs to have relationships with men not based on desire or sex) Star Wars: Kylo Ren/Rey(Only happening because of fan service and two boring characters makes for a boring ship) MCU: Natasha/Bruce(It was very forced and seemed to come out of nowhere. No chemistry and just...do I need to say more? Frankly, it's like they decided Bruce need a love interest but, rather than bring Betty back, they randomly chose Natasha) Steve/Peggy(Peggy seems to play games with Steve, never really giving him a clear indication about whether she likes him as a friend or more. And the fact that she shot at him because she was mad has disturbing parallels to domestic violence) Wanda/Vision(I don't know why, but I find the way Vision looks at Wanda extremely creepy. And the fact he does not seem to have any respect for her personal space has warning bells screaming 'stalker alert' going off in my head. And what exactly does a former AI who has no real grasp on humanity and emotions have in common with a young woman just now starting to move on from a traumatic experience she had as a child while also dealing with the tragic death of her twin brother? There's also the fact that there's a controlling/manipulative aspect to it in Civil War that is still slightly present in Infinity War) Thor/Jane(The whole 'hot girl knabs hot alien' trope was kind of cringy to begin with, but there really isn't much basis to this one) Matt/Claire(It was so forced! And Claire is such a bitch to him about being Daredevil. Just no) Matt/Karen(Pretty much the same as Matt/Claire, only it was a lot more forced) Steve/Bucky(an insult to the idea of bromance and it cheapens their bond) Steve/Tony(it makes no sense. There is no basis to this, as they are polar opposites. And Steve has never shown any indication that he is amused or charmed by Tony's antics or that he is attracted to Tony. Tony has also never given any indication that he feels anything towards Steve other than friendship and grudging respect) Ward/Skye(Mostly because Ward is written as a unredeemable psychopath after season one but also because Skye/Daisy becomes a rather unlikeable character following season two) Daisy/Lincoln(It felt pretty rushed to me and I wasn't feeling the chemistry between them. It seems like one of those rebound couples honestly and I think they are better off as friends) Coulson/May(On paper, it seems like it could work. The problem is the build up to it wasn't great, because it wasn't built up at all. It was basically just shoved in their in season four and it felt like a purely fan serviced move. Plus, the actors just don't have a whole lot of romantic chemistry) Mack/Elena(There wasn't a lot of build up to this one either and honestly, Elena's character and her relationship with Mack wasn't developed enough for it to reach the point it did in season four and five) Daisy/Sousa(Like Sousa, it was shoehorned into the final season of AOS, but it was also rushed and lacked any real chemistry) Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit: Aragorn/Eowyn( Just felt cliché and Eowyn was too good of a character to be forced into the love interest role) Sam/Frodo(An insult to the idea of bromance) Legolas/Tauriel(A completely pointless relationship. This was only added to create a love triangle. If you took out Legolas being in love with her, The Hobbit would end almost exactly the same. They were much better as friends) Kili/Tauriel(I'm more mixed about this two. I found it preferable to Legolas/Tauriel, I even found myself rooting for it at times. But could a dwarf and an elf ever really work? Not to mention it takes away from Legolas and Gimli's friendship in the original trilogy) Percy Jackson: Annabeth/Luke(The rather obvious age difference aside, Luke has betrayed and hurt her so many times. Even if Luke had lives, I don't think Annabeth would have ever been able to completely trust him again, certainly not enough to be with him) Percy/Artemis and any Hunter(They hate men. Do I really need to say it) Merlin: Gwen/Lancelot(It seems superficial to me. Lancelot seemed more in love with the idea of Gwen having such faith in him rather than who Gwen actually was. And t hey really don't seem to know each other than well prior to season four. I thought calling it love was really overselling it) Charmed: Phoebe/Cole(Honestly, Cole is just better as a villain. And this another example of why forbidden loves don't work. If they don't end in tragedy or heartbreak, they end with the pair despising each other, or in this case, one despising the other as the other loses his mind) My Crossover pairings: Barry Allen/Wanda Maximoff(Arrowverse/MCU): This one is a personal favorite of mine because they just make so much sense. They have near identical backstories of being used and manipulated by those around them and I think they could relate to each other over their guilt for their past mistakes, as well as being trapped in relationships with toxic partners, although Vision is nowhere near as bad as Iris. Steve Rogers/Caitlin Snow(MCU/Arrowverse): I think these two just work so much when you stop to think about it. Both are kind, selfless people who almost always put the needs of others above themselves. I think Caitlin could give Steve a sense of normalcy, something he really hasn't had a lot of since waking up in the present, and Steve could love Caitlin the way she deserves. Bucky Barnes/Caitlin Snow(MCU/Arrowverse): I'm taking post Civil War and Flash season three for both of them. I think they could relate to each other over their separate mind control issues and grappling with the things they did under mind control. And Caitlin could show Bucky the compassion he needs as he comes to terms with his past. Thor Odinson/Diana Prince(MCU/DCEU): Both are essentially two people who are from completely different worlds from the rest of their team who grow to love humanity and have a deep sense of duty to their people. It would be interesting to see the Asgardian/Amazonian culture clash would interact. Clark Kent/Laurel Lance(Smallville/Arrowverse): Both have characters about them going from naïve to jaded people wo eventually find their way back to themselves. Both tend to see the best in other people, so I think they'd be good together. Clark Kent/Dawn Summers(Smallville/Buffyverse): I'm gonna blame Chunk127 for this one. I did not expect to like this one but they did such a good job on it, made me love the pairing. Clark Kent/Prue Halliwell(Smallville/Charmed): Once again, I'm blaming Chunk127. I did not expect to like this one from the age difference alone, but once again, Chunk made me slowly fall in love with the idea of this pairing. Barry Allen/Faith Lehane(Arrowverse/Buffyverse): Barry tends to look for the best in people and I think Barry could be someone who could make Faith let he guard down because he never has an ulterior motive for wanting to help someone. I also think Faith could let Barry acknowledge the darkness in himself and help him reach a point where he's oaky with it. Oliver Queen/Bobbi Morse(Arrowverse/MCU): Both have done things in the past they aren't proud of and have had issues with leaders of their respective spy organizations. They both know the meaning of sacrifice and so wouldn't judge each other. Oliver is basically a less quippy and jaded Clint while Bobbi is the best of Laurel, Sara, and Felicity without any of the baggage. Matt Murdock/Faith Lehane (MCU/Buffyverse): Like Aragorn II Elessar said, after her redemption in Angel Season/Buffy Season 7, I think he'd be a good pairing for her, especially if its after he has lost Elektra. They can be good for each other, he can help her find a proper balance between light and darkness, and she can help him let a little loose. Clark Kent/Paige Mathews (Smallville/Charmed): Both are actually quite similar. Both feel the need to help people, both had a hard time coming to terms with their heritage, both of them always feel like they need to stand up for what is right (which is what almost made Paige turn bad when she first got her powers). I think they'd be a good match for each other. Paige would be the perfect blend of Chloe and Lois while Clark could be the equal partner Paige always needed. Current Writing Priorities: When we stand together: Sequel to 'Whatever it takes'. Now understanding who Oliver is and the trials that will await him, Thea, Roy, Laurel, Quentin, and Moira do everything they can to help him as he faces his greatest enemy. Apocalypse of Infinite Earths: Final entry in the 'Two Earths' series. As Apocalypse rises to threaten the multiverse, the greatest heroes across the multiverse must stand united to confront him in a battle that will cost them more than they could ever imagine. The king, sorcerers, and Avengers: It has been centuries since the death of Arthur Pendragon and Camelot is but a distant memory, the life of King Arthur believed to be but a myth. As the world faces the consequences of the Sokovia Accords being legalized and the Avengers Civil War, Merlin is reunited with his old friend while also meeting an old enemy who possess no memory of their past. As Merlin deals with this, Arthur adjusts to life in the present while grappling with his destiny and duty. And all the while, someone else pulls the strings, forcing Arthur, Merlin and the Avengers into a battle that will determine the fate of all humanity. Dear bullies, See that boy doing his homework in homeroom? Last night he Talked His friend out of suicide. See that girl you just called fat? She is starving herself. See that old man you made fun of cause of the ugly scars? He fought for our country. See that young boy you must made fun of for always being sick? He has to walk home in the snow cause his family is too poor. Re-Post this if u r against bullying. I bet 95% of u won't. Your life would probably not be as harsh as theirs. If you believe in Jesus Christ put this in your profile and don't ignore it because the Bible says that if you deny me, I will deny you in front of my father and the glory of Heaven. This is a true story. A girl died in 1933. A man buried her in the ground while she was still alive. The murder chanted "Toma sota balcu" as he buried her. Now that you have read the chant, you will meet this little girl. In the middle of the night she will be on your celling. She will suffocate like she was suffocated. If you post this on your profile, she will not bother you. Your kindness will be rewarded. "They hurt her" About six years ago in Indiana, Carmen Winstead was pushed down a sewer opening by five girls in her school, trying to embarrass her in front of her school during a fire drill. When she didn't submerge, the police were called. They went down and brought up 17-year-old Carmen Winstead's body, with her neck broken from hitting the ladder, then the concrete at the bottom. The girls told everyone she fell... They believed them. FACT: About two months later, 16-year-old David Gregory read this post and didn't repost it. When he went to take a shower, he heard laughter, started freaking out, and ran to his computer to repost it. He said goodnight to his mom and went to sleep, but five hours later, his mom woke up in the middle of the night from a loud noise and David was gone. A few hours later, the police found him in the sewer, with a broken neck and the skin on his face peeled off. Even Google her name - you'll find this to be true. If you don't repost this saying "They hurt her," then Carmen will get you, either from a sewer, the toilet, the shower, or when you go to sleep, you'll wake up in the sewer, in the dark, then Carmen will come and kill you. The white man said, "Colored people are not allowed here." The black man turned around and stood up. He then said: "Listen sir...when I was born I was BLACK, When I grew up I was BLACK, When I'm sick I'm BLACK, When I go in the sun I'm BLACK, When I'm cold I'm BLACK, When I die I'll be BLACK. But you sir, When you're born you're PINK, When you grow up you're WHITE, When you're sick, you're GREEN, When you go in the sun you turn RED, When you're cold you turn BLUE, And when you die you turn PURPLE. And you have the nerve to call me colored?" The black man then sat back down and the white man walked away... Post this on your profile if you hate racism. I was walking around in a target store, when I saw a cashier hand this little boy some money back. The boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old. The cashier said, " I'm sorry but you don't have enough money to buy this doll." Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: " Granny are you sure I don't have enough money?"The old lady replied: "You know that you don't have enough money to bye this doll, my dear." Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to take a look around. She left quickly. The little was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and i asked him who he wished to give the doll to. "It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her." I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly. "No, Santa Claus can't bring it to where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there." His eyes where so sad while saying this. "My sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister." My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said: " I told Daddy to tell mommy to not go yet I need her to wait until I come back from the mall ." Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me "I want mommy to take my picture with her so she wont forget me. I love my mommy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me, but my daddy says that she has to go be with my sister." Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy: " Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough for the doll?" "OK ," he said , " I hope I do have enough." I added some of my money without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money. The little boy said: "Thank you god for giving me enough money!" Then he looked at me and added, "I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I have enough money to buy this doll so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me!" " I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but i didn't dare ask God for too much. But he gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose." A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket. I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind. Then i remembered a local newspaper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy? Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away. I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last final wishes before her burial. She was there in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed on her chest. I left the place teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever... The love that the little boy had for his sister and his mother is still hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all of this away from him. You have 2 choices: 1) re post this story 2) ignore it as if it never touched your heart! Now you have 2 choices: 1) Repost this message, or 2) Ignore it as if it never touched your heart THIS IS A STORY ABOUT GOD. READ IF YOU BELIEVE IN HIM, AND READ EVEN IF YOU DON'T. A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a line up to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it? Repost this if you truly believe in God. PS: God is always there in your heart and loves you no matter what, and if you stand up for him he will stand up for you. If you believe in Jesus, repost this in your profile HEBREWS 13:5 "For God has said I will never fail you and I will never abandon you" 1 CORINTHIANS 13:1-3 “(1) If I could so ask all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. (2) If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. (3) If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.” 1 TIMOTHY 1:15 “This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: ‘Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners’- and I am the worst of them all.” MATTHEW 11:28-30 “Then Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.’” LUKE 23:39-43 “(39) One of the criminals hanging beside him scoffed, ‘So you’re the Messiah, are you? Prove it by saving yourself - and us, too, while you’re at it!’ (40) But the other criminal protested, ‘Don’t you fear God even when you have been sentenced to die? (41) We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.’ (42) Then he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.’ (43) And Jesus replied, ‘I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.’” 1 PETER 2:24 “He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.” PSALMS 51:1 “Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin.” PROVERBS 13:3 “Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.” JAMES 1:21 “So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.” ROMANS 10:9 “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” PSALMS 147: 1, 3-11 “(1) Praise the Lord! How good to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how fitting! (3) He heals the broken-hearted and bandages their wounds. (4) He counts the stars and calls them all by name. (5) How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension! (6) The Lord supports the humble, but he brings the wicked down into the dust. (7) Sing out your thanks to the Lord; sing praises to our God with a harp. (8) He covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, and makes the grass grow in mountain pastures. (9) He gives food to the wild animals and feeds the young ravens when they cry. (10) He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might. (11) No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love. 1 PETER 5:7 “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” ROMANS 8:11 “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.” ~ Please read this: This is a true story. All schools have a class clown, someone that gets on everyones nerves and that no one likes. There was one of these boys in this one school. Nobody liked him at all. He had no friends, the teachers hated him for his disruptiveness, and the students found him annoying beyond belief. He never seemed to care. One day, he had finally stepped on his teachers last nerve. What the teacher did was make everyone in the class stand up and tell the boy something they didn't like about him. As each of the thirty students stood up and said something about him they didn't like, he only sat and didn't seem to mind. All of the students did it. That day, when school was out, the boy went home, grabbed his dads gun, and shot himself in the head. If you think that the teacher was to blame, and that what she did was morally wrong and completely shameful, copy and paste this into your profile. Then, if you would have been the one to stand up and say "I'm not going to do this" then add your username to the list. COMMON SENSE (Found on BlackSaint's Profile) Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.
