A/N: As a way to commemorate one character of SMG4, this will be a dedicated chapter. So, please enjoy. And also this is part of my fanfiction story. Oh, and there will be huge spoilers for my main series.

Extra One: Words of Comfort

Chapter Synopsis: Tatsumi once again visit SMG4's world to visit one of his friend who is mourning.

Midday hit the Base of Night Raid's base and everyone was eating their lunch in the table. Everyone from apart from one particular person who wasn't present. A pinkette was looking around for her friend. "Say, have you guys seen Tatsumi anywhere?"

Akame just replied back to the pinkette. "He's just visiting SMG4's world for a bit." Her reaction was that of just sheer annoyance and irritation from everyone.

"That world again?!"

"You've got to be kidding me..."

"Is he really going to visit them?!"

"Not those groups of idiots!"

Mine just scoffed at Akame's words that Tatsumi would be visiting them. "Why is he going to visit them?! He knows that I don't like any of them, especially that fatass idiot who has got a lower IQ than a toddler!" All of the girls and boys with the exception of Bols, Wave, and Run, who could tolerate Mario's pure stupidity even though it could be irritating at times, had to agree with her.

"Tatsumi sure did make an excuse for himself. The revolution is just in two days' time and he's visiting them at this time of day?!" Najenda added as she didn't like Mario.

Esdeath had the same feeling as the pinkette and her former colleague. "My dear Tatsumi isn't flirting with any of them, is he?"

"Uh commander, I don't think that's his reason for going into their world." Wave assured his leader as he find SMG4 and his group of friends to be quite crazy due to their unnatural physics but he seems alright and fine with them, and especially Mario even though he is a complete retard.

The other girl just simply wiped her mouth with a napkin. "He's not there just to join in on another adventure, everyone."

That actually surprised all of them as they were wondering why. Kurome was the one to ask her sister with the regards on the matter. "So, why did he sis?" She didn't mind Axol, Luigi, Melony and Tari even though the girl with the robotic arm does seem to have an obsession with rubber ducks which freaked her out.

Akame knew that she couldn't give every single detail to what she was told by him. So she went with the next best thing which technically didn't count as a lie. "It's just something very personal that he wants to get done with."

F

The red-eyed girl, who was in her Pjs, was walking down the hallway as she was holding a glass of water. She felt a bit thirsty while she was sleeping, so she decided to go get a glass of water from the kitchen.

Everything seemed quiet when all of a sudden she was someone awake. "Tatsumi?"

Tatsumi was dressed up in the same clothes that he wore during his time in SMG4's world. Akame noticed that Tatsumi had a saddened expression on his face. He looked to where she was and gave a sad smile. "Hey Akame."

"Where do you think you're going?" She asked as she put the glass of water on the floor in case if she dropped it on the ground which would alert everyone.

What Tatsumi was about to say made the stoic assassin go numb. "I'm going to be visiting SMG4's world for a bit."

"W-what?" Akame answered as her voice was low as she didn't want to alert everyone. "Why?"

Her answer was that Tatsumi pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket, which was crumbled up, and gave it to Akame. "Unfold it and read it if you want to get your answer." With that simple command, the girl then unfolded the paper and then read what it says.

Tatsumi,

I know you're quite busy right now with your assassin work and all, but can you visit our world for a bit? I know that you still have that box device thing with you, so you may as well.

My reason for writing this letter is to let you know that Axol…is gone. He died for the safety of our universe from the Zero virus… and Melony is taking difficulties in it. So please, come to our world so that you can give your words to her, okay?

Akame didn't know what to find about. Axol was one of the nicer people of SMG4's group that she didn't mind talking to. And to see a letter that was written by Mario of all people with the news about it."I see." She gave her close friend an expression of sympathy and was saddened about it. "I am so sorry that you had to hear about it, Tatsumi."

"I know." He just answered. He was aware that this Zero virus was actually quite dangerous, but to hear one of SMG4's friend die along with it during the conflict…He knew how hard it was to see a good friend gone and was glad that he was informed about it. He then wanted to tell Akame about one thing. "Say Akame, if any of them ask where I am, just tell them that I am dealing with something personal in SMG4's world, okay?"

Akame then nodded her head before she gave Tatsumi a hug of comfort. She too knew what losing a friend feels like as she had experienced many of her friends dying back when she was in the Empire. And with that, the two then broke the hug and the boy then made his way outside of the base so that he could open up a void to visit his other friend's world to give his condolences to one of their friend.

Akame was deep in her thoughts as she was thinking about what the boy had said. She then leaned in her chair before she looked up in the ceiling. "Tatsumi, I hope you comfort her on her loss."

In an apartment within New Donk City, a certain Melon turn human girl was in a table drawing a manga. Her reason of doing that was so she could be feel comfort for herself. As she was doing so, she suddenly heard the door opening and she turned around to see Mario and Meggy, both of who were with someone that she recognised. "Tatsumi?"

The assassin gave a grieving smile as he was walking up to her. "Hey there Melony, how have you been?"

Melony gave a fake smile to the assassin. "I'm fine."

The assassin could see and knew that her smile wasn't real. "No Melony, you're not fine. I can tell just by looking at your smile" Tatsumi stopped on where he was which was near to where the watermelon girl was and put his hand on her shoulder and kneeled down to her level. "Mario has informed me of what happened to Axol…and I am deeply sorry for your loss." He stopped talking as he could see the other girl having tears dropping down from her cheeks. He knew those words were really hard and harsh to hear, even to a person like Melony, but he was giving words for her comfort and a realistic side of life.

Without wasting a single second, Tatsumi then pulled Melony in to give her a hug. He wanted to make sure that she was feeling comfortable before she could even cry. "Listen Melony, it's like what Meggy said to you before, 'If you ever need someone to talk to my door is always open.' Y'know, I too know what it's like to lose a good friend, right? In fact, I didn't just only lose one friend, I lost two good friends as well. But, if there's one thing that I am sure of is that there will always be someone on your side. That's what life is, there are always bad things happening and you get beaten down by it, but there could be good things that will help you as well. Things doesn't end up the way you always wanted, but that's reality and how the real world works. You only get to have one life." He had to learn that the hard way when his fantasy of reviving his two childhood friends was shot down by Night Raid. "I do miss Axol, but he wants us to live the best as we can. That's what he told me and Akame when we last saw each other." He began to stroke the back of her head to ease her sorrow. "I promise to you, I won't tell any of my friends apart from Akame about this since she knows your pain. Not yet at least but with the exception of Esdeath, so you could cry as long as you want until you feel better Melony. I won't be mad at you."

Tatsumi's speech finally made the watermelon girl cry as she began to hug her assassin friend and began to sob non-stop. Tears were running down on her cheeks uncontrollably and some dropped in his left shoulder. He didn't mind as this was really hard for her to take for a close friend of hers to die all of a sudden. The boy just closed his eyes as he was comforting her. "There, there now. I know you miss him. Just take your time to release all that pain. Don't worry, your friends will support you." He hugged the watermelon girl closer to give her more comfort as he didn't like seeing her in this state.

Seeing this made Mario and Meggy feel a little sad about this as they knew that she still didn't take Axol's death too well and was comforted by the assassin. Speaking of which, the jock girl did felt really sorry for Tatsumi as he had lost two of his friends since she was informed about it by Mario. She then look at her close friend who was right next to her. "I'm glad that you knew him while I was on vacation even though he was an assassin, huh Red?"

Mario felt the same way like the former Inkling. "Yeah, and after hearing that two of his friends die before he joined Night Raid, I was thinking about him since he kinda had similar experience to you, so I was thinking of bringing him back in our universe for a bit so he could give his respect to our fallen friend and also console Melony as well. It would've been much worse for him and his friends within his universe had he not found Death Battle."

"So, this is where you two were this whole time, huh?" The two then turns around to see the rest of the SMG4, and all of their friends and they were all surprised that Tatsumi was in their world once again. But it was only to comfort on the Watermelon girl's loss by the request of Mario.

"Aw, how comforting." Boopkins said as he knew that Tatsumi was comforting the watermelon girl since she was still very sad about the axolotl's death.

"Yeah, and also heart-warming." Saiko and Luigi both spoke as they too were seeing this.

Tari had the same feeling as the green creature, the Yandere, and the Italian's brother. "I know." She then turns to Mario. "Thank you for letting Tatsumi go back into our world Mario if though it was just a tiny bit."

"It's fine." The Avatar answered as he had a retard expression edited on his face.

The Garo then thought of something as he was seeing this. "WhAt HaPpEnS iF TaTsUmI's HaReM sEeS tHiS?" He questioned the others in a sarcastic manner as he was indicating the number of female members in his group.

Everyone just turned to him before they all gave him a glare. "Bob, they won't be mad about it since he is comforting a friend." Saiko clarified to him thanks to her anime girl sensing ability when she met Tatsumi's friends.

Luigi, now that he thought of the Garo's statement, then asked his question which was concerning him and a few others. "But what about Esdeath? She is all about the strong lives and the weak dies. What would happen if she called Axol weak for dying?"

"Oh don't worry about that Luigi," The green Italian then looks at his brother, who had a serious look on his face, "I'll take care of her when she is going to say that. Axol died for the good of our universe from that virus, and I don't like it when someone who has a big ego and has a childish views that makes fun of our friend for that. And besides, if Esdwreth does even say that, which I find it to be quite petty…" Mario then pulls out Pastae, which was just a metal baseball bat that was wrapped in barbed wire, "I am going to beat the senseless crap out of her if you're all wondering. And I actually mean it without any hesitation even though she has those ice thingies."

The rest, including Meggy, all sighed at this but they didn't want to stop him since it did remind them, with the exception of the former Inkling still doesn't know about what happened since she was in vacation, of their curb-stomp battle with one of Night Raid's enemies, which was still plaguing their minds. Meggy didn't know why her close friend was very brutal when it comes to a person like her which she wasn't impressed about. But then again, this Esdeath girl already made the jock girl develop some grudge with this person since was knew that this woman was a Social-Darwinist believer, which was just a very flawed and very stupid philosophy to even devote your life in. Especially in this day and age.

Meggy then looks at the assassin who was still comforting Melony on her grief of Axol's death and already as her opinion with the anime character. "Tatsumi, I know we may have had little interaction, but despite you being an assassin and an anime character, you're the most kind-hearted and sympathetic person that I had known so far."
