Author note: So I have brought some more to the story with this one. Yes, I know some feel Ranma should be stronger than I am depicting I am fully aware of the loud spoken but weak is further from the truth and I could go into the many reasons why things are as they are currently but it wouldn't help those who have a certain expectation.
I can say I have never been one to write Mary Sue stories at least I try not to. Nor do I enjoy writing stories where characters are a bit more op than they should be at a certain time in the story whereas a character should grow into such and have such reasons explained rather than tanking rockets to the chest I mean sheesh are we ready for Ranma to take on Goku 'er somethin'? Maybe even the Man of Steel himself?
let us also understand Ranma is dealing with the past and in his/her mind has to tread carefully lest ripples in time could become great waves erasing everything that is to be in his/her home timeline.
Well anyways hope you enjoy this installment I'll hopefully have more soon as my work permits me. -Zeltronica
Edit: Made some precision edits, especially with 'Abraham' and references made towards Saiya's the 1st incarnation. -9-12-2021
U.F. Chapter: 7
Almost a month had gone by since Sesshōmaru had left the unconscious red-head in the elderly pairs' care not once had she stirred even as she was receiving a sponge bath by the elder woman who seemed to have taken to caring for her as if her very own child.
"Chiro I may have said this a hundred times already but our child she would have been this girl's age roundabout had it not been for that dreadful plague." the elder woman said with a certain melancholy to her tone.
The elder man revealed to be Chiro glanced to his wife and then to the unconscious red-head giving a slight nod of his head as he continued to polish a dagger he recently forged.
He took a long breath turning his attention to the blade speaking as he did so, "Yuka yes I would have to agree that she would have. However, nothing can bring her back."
"I suppose you are right my love but we may not know her I almost feel we got a second chance Lord Sesshōmaru is kinder than he ever will admit." the elder woman revealed to Yuka called lightly as she looked to the red-head with a loving gaze.
Chiro spared his wife a brief glance, "I wonder about that but I don't dare make such an assumption of him since he is not his father and has his own motives and agenda." he simply stated continuing to polish his dagger.
Two more days passed as Chiro and his wife Yuka were out running errands which left the home unattended with only its sleeping occupant who had started to stir eventually slowly sitting up feeling weak like she had slept far too long.
Reaching up she rubbed the sleep from her eyes as she glanced about the home observing the surroundings were not what she last remembered but for the life of her she realized she couldn't even recall that much.
In her mind's eye, she saw a vision of a very large creature with gold eyes upon its forehead but just as quickly had the vision surfaced it was gone replaced by a powerful piercing headache that caused her to reach up with both hands holding her head.
Glancing down she observed she wasn't wearing anything at all, 'Where are my clothes?' she inwardly questioned as she looked around the room lowering her hands into her lap.
"Hello anyone there?" she called and after several moments of silence she called out once more but still no answer she decided to get out of bed lightly pushing the light gray blanket off to the side swinging her legs off the bed before attempting to stand only to flail her arms finding herself falling backward.
She huffed at the exertion of energy though she was determined rolling over proceeding to push herself up slowly onto unsteady feet, 'Must have been out for quite awhile.' she noted to herself.
~Ah you are finally awake this is good now come here girl~ a voice from within her own mind called.
"Where?" the red-head called as the voice once again spoke within her mind, ~Just a bit further over here child.~
she unsteadily and slowly stepped forward her eyes starting to glaze over as if in a trance of some kind as she started hearing whispers proceeding to follow them continuing forward out into the main living area and eventually she found herself standing before a stand and upon this stand was a dusty cobweb covered purple silk bundle.
Though she made no attempt to touch it instead the whispers ceased as the door to the home swung open as Chiro and his wife entered talking between each other before going silent observing their house guest was awake staring at a particular point in the room.
Yuka dropped the bag of rice she was carrying having been surprised at seeing the girl was now standing as she crossed the distance observing the red-head was now falling backward as she caught her before she could hit the floor.
"Chiro! She is finally awake." she called to which her husband nodded saying, "Was awake more to the case and point." he observed.

Dreaming world
(Lil's Sanctuary)
Once more she found herself in the most beautiful place she had ever seen once more surrounded by Animals who like the usual took off in fear as her gaze was centered on an object in the distance she knew was a gate of some kind but as she started to walk a soft delicate but powerful hand grabbed her by the shoulder and the scene changed.
She now found herself standing in a cabin of some kind that was sparsely furnished, she spared a glance over her shoulder observing her horned doppelganger wearing the garb of a miko wearing black hakama trousers, and a black-n-red kasode with flowing sleeves with sakura petal patterns on the sleeves who crossed the distance to a shelf full of herbs reaching up attempting to grab a jar that was covered in countless seals that even she herself would have trouble reaching without either jumping or getting a foot stool or ladder.
"You know I could have sworn I was taller than this. You sure are a short incarnation aren't you?" the unnamed woman who looked to be a combination between an angel and a demon of some sort called over her shoulder as she stared up at the jar in frustration that was just out of her reach by a foot.
The red-head got closer peering up at the jar her doppelganger was trying to reach, "Incarnation?" she questioned feeling confused.
"You know incarnation. Well basically has to do with reincarnation things don't truly ever die especially not me that bastard priest got the drop on me but one day I..." she trailed briefly going on to say, "Well we will return to our former glory."
The red-head looked to her doppelganger feeling more confused, "We?" she queried.
The demon-goddess spared a glance over her shoulder her sapphire gaze cat-like, "I wouldn't worry yourself with such details at this time... Say what is your name?"
"I-I don't remember." the red-head dumbly stated.
The Demon-Goddess then shrugged her shoulders, raising both hands palm up, "Well for the life of me I can't exactly recall who I am either. However if I could just reach this jar I bet I can find out." she casually replied pointing up at the jar.
The red-head glanced down at herself observing she was wearing the same garb as her demon-goddess doppelganger, she even found her long hair was loose about her shoulders even matching the doppelgangers hair length which was also crimson.
"Why do you have wings a tail and well horns are you into cosplay perhaps?" the redhead inquired feeling quite curious.
Crossing her arms over her chest the doppelganger seemed to gain an offended expression, "No these are not cosplaying items they are attached I am neither a Demon nor a Goddess but rather a combination so a living breathing Demon-Goddess and the first of my kind!" she proclaimed.
It was then a tall green-eyed blonde-haired woman entered the room with fare features she looked very beautiful upon her back was two white-n-gray broken wings with smoke wafting from them, she wore a white kimono, the woman then spoke, "What are you on about now sinful one?"
"Jun just in time can you get this jar down for me?" the Demon-Goddess inquired.
The woman revealed to be named Jun shook her head negatively saying, "That poor priest worked so hard to seal that jar and in the end part of its contents had escaped and he lost his life. No, you had a choice to walk away but your arrogance and pride got the better of you its best the jar remains out of your reach awhile longer sinful one."
The red-head looked up to the jar, "Why don't you just jump up and take it?" she offered.
"Easier said than done Jun won't allow me too if I try she will just grab me and slam me back down and hard she is such a mean bitch for a Goddess." the Demon-Goddess dully stated shooting her one and only companion a dark glare.
Jun shook her head negatively saying, "Now now sinful one calm down haven't I told you no good will come from opening that jar as you currently are."
Turning her attention to Jun the red-head questioned, "Do you know my name and maybe hers cause I am sure sinful one isn't her name?" she inquired.
"Of course I know both of your names but I am not telling after all this is something for you both to learn when the time comes though I must warn you once you do learn your true name it must never be spoken to mortals or it will be used against you but unfortunate for you young one you will have to keep two names within tight lips once you learn them. As for me my name is Jun and this sanctuary is ours all three of us when you are here with us young one."
The red-head frowned as did the Demon-Goddess both with the same expression almost as if of the same mind both crossing their arms over their chest feet staggered apart slightly letting a sigh of frustration escape their lips.
The Demon-Goddess then spared the red-head a glance saying, "Well see you next time."
"Next time?" the red-head inquired her expression one of confusion to which Jun waved saying, "The waking world calls come back and see us this is your sanctuary as well young one."
The red-head tilted her head questioningly, "Young one you both look-" she then found herself interrupted by Jun who laughed at her before saying, "Listen you are but a spore to us and the sinful one here well she has existed far longer than I and she was around from the beginning even though she doesn't act like it but I digress so yes to us you are a very young one."
"See you soon!" the Demon-Goddess cheerfully called waving once more.
The red-head then found herself in perpetual darkness briefly before sitting up in bed finding herself back in the bed she remembered getting up from.

The waking world...
Glancing about the room and hearing two individual's speaking just past the door frame of the room she was in the red-head then proceeded to get out of bed finding her legs were more steady as she slowly made her way to the door she still felt weak but not as much as the first time.
Looking down at herself before exiting the room she observed she was wearing a blue robe with a yellow sash tied about the waist, she then peered around the corner towards the voices observing an elder couple sitting at a small table though she considered they might be in their early fifties or they aged rather well.
Chiro was the first to notice their house guest peering at them from just behind the frame of the doorway to her perspective room, "Ah sleeping beauty has woken up again has she? Come in here young lady we are friendly." he offered.
The redhead approached entering the room inquiring, "U'm excuse me but where are we and who are you?"
"My name is Chiro and my wife Yuka here has been taking care of you since you were left in our care by Lord Sesshōmaru and his group and this is our home," Chiro explained casually as he picked up a bowl proceeding to sip from its contents.
"Lord Sesshōmaru?" The red-head questioned feeling a slight pain in her head as she tried to recall and though it sounded familiar she couldn't place a face to the name nor remember if she met the man.
She then went on to say, "I don't know him... Nor unfortunately, I don't even remember my own name do you know it?"
Chiro and Yuka looked to one another then the later spoke, "We do not know child unfortunately Lord Sesshōmaru did not tell us your name and if you do not know it can only mean one thing."
"One thing?" the redhead inquired of the woman.
Chiro quickly answered "It means you are experiencing some form of forgetfulness which sometimes is temporary or in some rare occasions permanent. Do you recall anything at all?"
"Just bits and pieces the one thing I am sure of is I am a martial artist." the redhead explained.
Chiro thought on the girl's claim saying, "Well you don't look like a Buddhist Nun but you do have the look of a miko so perhaps that could explain your martial arts training if what you claim is in fact true."
"A miko?" the redhead inquired of the elder.
Yuka then explained, "A miko is a priestess our daughter was being raised to be one until she was struck down by the plague and she had been on the side taking lessons in martial techniques to battle both evil spirits and demon's that plague our village."
"I see so you think I may have been a miko?" the red-head inquired as she was trying to recall though she came up blank, however, when looking down at her body she could only recall something was off but she couldn't quite put a finger on it though what did come to mind was a kettle but she couldn't quite figure out why it was such a prominent image in her head.
Yuka nodded her head saying, "Maybe you were a miko who is to say only you can truly know this if you can recall though I quit my training long ago I can see you have a monstrous spiritual aura so you have the potential to becoming a powerful one if you had the will to train that is."
"Maybe if we took her to old man Ryou at the temple if she was a miko then the temple may help her regain her memory not to mention we could pay our respects its about that time anyways?" Chiro offered, before taking yet another drink from the contents of his bowl.
'Maybe I was a Miko in the dream I was wearing the outfit could this be true? Though I am not certain I don't think they are traditional colors.' The red-head inwardly mused, deciding to accept the offer saying, "I wish to meet this Old man Ryou if it can help me remember who I am."
Yuka then offered, "Oh I almost forgot I cleaned up your clothing perhaps those and something in your bag can jog your memory?"
the red-head gained a hopeful expression asking, "Oh can you give them to me please?"
A few moments later she was wearing black hakama pants with a red sash at the waist, along with a light blue tunic shirt, and worn just over this was a plain black kimono worn open that came down just past her waist.
She looked down at the clothing feeling a familiarity to them going on to think, 'These look and feel familiar just who the heck am I obviously not rich by any means.'
"You look good in that getup," Yuka said as she observed the red-head moving slightly and adjusting her clothes to proper positions that were comfortable for her.
Chiro then brought the bag over holding it out for the red-head to take who took the proffered item in hand proceeding to look through its contents observing ruined rations and other objects that appeared to be crude tools though none of it rung a bell for her.
She then proceeded to set the bag down shaking her head negatively, "No it may be my bag but still doesn't help me thanks for bringing it to me Chiro-san."
"Well, we tried that is what counts well if you think you are steady on your feet enough we could go see old man Ryou now I am sure he wouldn't mind a visit?" Chiro offered.
The redhead seemed to think a moment, "Sure that would be great." she accepted the offer waiting for the elder couple to lead the way.
The elder couple then waved her forward as they started to walk to the exit of the home, as the red-head walked she paused in her step hearing whispers she turned her attention to where the whispers were coming from though she couldn't see anyone in that direction with exceptions of furnishings and a sword display stand and on this stand was the silk bundle she observed earlier covered in cobwebs and dust.
The whispers kept coming though and seemed to get louder: "Come here... Come here... Take me." this repeated several minutes until the red-head felt a hand upon her shoulder at which she looked observing Yuka looking at her with concern.
"You okay child?" Yuka inquired with a concerned expression.
The redhead gave a nod, "Heh- Eh yes I am fine sorry let's go." she replies, proceeding to walk with Yuka out the exit of the home.

Present Day...
"Mom, can I go home with you?" Lilt inquired of her mother, tilting her head giving a pleading look.
Saiya looked to her daughter seeming to ponder over her child's words, "Do you know how to hide your non-human features yet?"
"Mom please?" Lilt inquired a saddened but hopeful expression to her features.
"Don't you think you have left her with the church a bit long Saiya-san?" Ansuz questioned in an effort to convince the raven-haired woman.
Saiya shrugged her shoulders still looking to her daughter, "It wasn't like I wanted to leave her at the church, to begin with, Ansuz-san however it has been convenient since her being here may become troublesome."
"Mom please I am tired of being at the church they make me study that horrible book that tells lies... they even edited you out of it!" Lilt exclaimed not at all hiding her disgust on her features.
One of the robed men behind Abraham spoke up in protest, "The book is the truth stop-"
Saiya interrupted the man saying, "Silence your tongue or I'll sever it!" which had the man step back even though he was just behind his leader a look of fear to his features knowing she meant her words.
She then turned her attention back to her daughter biting her lip letting a sigh escape her lips, "Fine fine you can come home I suppose but you have to promise to do as told I'll explain more away from prying ears, honey."
"Yay!" Lilt cheerfully exclaimed having missed being with her mother and looking forward to furthering her training.
Saiya still looking at her daughter thinking, 'Hmm if she can't hide those horns I am going to have to dress her up hmm perhaps a headband could make them a fashion statement, and the tail can be hidden under clothes or wrapped about her waist like a belt 'er something... some like to wear tails on their clothes okay I can make this work.'
"Oh, Mom look I got a gate piece!" Lilt exclaimed retrieving from subspace a fragment though her mother could tell the item was shrunk from its much larger appearance.
Saiya then held her hand out, "Oh cool hand it here?" she asked.
"Not so fast Momma I was told not to give this to you and that you can't just take it." Lilt called in a singsong voice twirling the item on the tip of her finger.
Saiya gave her daughter a half-lidded expression, "Is this your way for punishing me for leaving you at the church or somethin'?"
"Somethin' like dat Momma" Lilt said as she tossed the item back into subspace.
Saiya slightly frowned tilting her head saying, "I didn't much have a choice dear, and my long silence while regretful you wouldn't have wanted to see me during that time I was quite ill from the ordeal but I'll try to make it up to you but at some point, I need that fragment dearest."
"I get the not seeing part I know all too well even you could be damaged by that disgusting attack the Americans did but I still wished you would have taken me with you." Lilt said as she shifted her gaze to the side as she crossed her arms just under her chest.
Saiya clicked her tongue saying, "Gomen' I suppose I could have but the war took me to quite a few places and the hospitals were no place to bring a child deary."
"I forgive you and I understand. I'll give you the fragment when I am ready and not before Momma." Lilt said looking to her mother with one eye closed being her right.
With a snap of her right-hand fingers Ansuz removed the chains binding Lilt saying, "Well in that case I am returning home feel free to contact me should you need a sitter."
"Will do though I think Lilt is getting to the point it won't be necessary," Saiya called as she and Ansuz waved to one another before Ansuz seemed to vanish from existence.
Placing her left hand at her throat and looking to her right wrist Lilt felt relieved and her power increase slightly despite the limiters she wore being her earrings silver broken hearts hung on tiny black chains, and worn about her neck was a silver broken half heart pendant.
Of course, she also wore what appeared to be black bands on her wrists and ankles though these could not be seen unless her arms and legs were seen outside of the cloak she currently wore.
Saiya then turned her attention to Abraham a thoughtful expression to her features, "You don't mind me taking her home do you I know you were using her to track that vam-" she started to say finding herself interrupted.
"No that is quite alright if you are right we just need to wait for him to move on you so we will bide our time and attack when the opportunity arises so go spend time with your daughter," Abraham stated approvingly since this was for the best in his opinion.
Saiya nodded her head placing a hand upon Lilt's shoulder. "Okay, Kiddo let's go home."
"But Mom I am not a kid anymore!" Lilt exclaimed as she looked to her mother just over her shoulder just as the woman started pushing her forward saying, "Yea yea Kiddo now let us go."
"But Mom!" Lilt protested.
Saiya grinned took her sword back from Abraham wrapping it before proceeding to ruffle her daughter's hair who complained once more, "My hair stop that!"
As the duo was walking away towards the Higurashi estate Saiya went on to say, "You listen here Miss I am eighty years old well I am five-hundred and sixteen years old I very well am in the right to call you a kiddo now stop fussing and let's go home."
One of the men under Abraham's command commented once the duo was out of earshot, "Five-hundred and sixteen years old... Sir is that for real?"
Abraham watching his acquaintance walk away explained, "You sound surprised well there are many things in this universe that are far older than her yet she is on her second incarnation she is much older than that. Five-hundred and sixteen years old is just how old her second incarnation is."
"Who was her first incarnation sir?" the unnamed man inquired to which Abraham shrugged his shoulders saying to his subordinate, "I don't even know for sure she never told me since it is dangerous for entities such as herself to give their real names but rumor has it she has two and of course another rumor has it her second incarnation was once human."
His subordinate then questioned, "Why keep the first name hidden along with the second?"
"Probably because the first name has more power than the second and in either case would be bad to know them since they could be used to bind her after all names are power especially with entities such as herself can't you tell she's a demon." another subordinate informed.
Abraham continuing to watch his friend as she finally vanished from view, "Demon you say? No, you don't know what you speak of she is more than that her form was corrupted by a corrupt Arch Angel but she is a fallen Goddess of the heavens and more accurately a Demon-Goddess during an ancient battle while in her first incarnation I was young and a soldier opposing her we called her a Demon-Rabbit."
He paused briefly before continuing, "We were so naive thinking we could defeat the likes of her but by the time she was done our entire army of ten thousand men were completely wiped with only five of us narrowly escaping death of course I haven't seen such a battle with this second incarnation but believe me when I say she is quite formidable and may still be as powerful as the first incarnation if not possibly stronger."
He then went on to think to himself, 'Isn't that right Saiya you're a walking calamity upon this world cursed to roam it until its very end.'
"Sir do you know her names?" one of the subordinates inquired retrieving a notepad and pen.
Abraham glanced over going on to explain, "I only know possibly was her first incarnations name after doing some digging we only ever called her Demon Rabbit during that battle, However, I still don't know the second name I only learned of it because she told me she had two names due to this being her second incarnation and no I won't tell you the first one that is a mystery for you to figure out on your own."
"What about those fragments sir?" the unnamed comrade inquired of his captain.
Abraham shrugged at him saying, "Who knows though rumor has it they are fragments from an Ancient gate leading to the garden of Eden though don't quote me on this since this information could be wrong."

Feudal era...
Ryou Temple shrine...
The Shrine was your typical Shinto shrine the grounds were rather large surrounding a large structure of feudal design which was currently occupied by an old bald man with dark brown eyes and chiseled features covering his mouth was a long snow-white beard wearing white robes a blue sash worn about the waist.
"So this is the young woman you have been hiding in your house 'eh Chiro?" the elder said in slight jest as he gazed to the red-haired woman.
Chiro nodded with a ghost of a smile, "Indeed though not so much hiding since she has been asleep until recently." he explained pausing a moment as he turned his attention to the red-head, "So miss this is old man Ryou I told you about he is the village priest."
"Nice to meet you Ryou-san." The red-head said with a respectful bow.
Ryou nodded inquiring, "Likewise do you have a name miss?"
"Actually that is why we are here we came to see if we can jog her memory it would seem she has forgotten who she is but she thinks she may have been a priestess quite possibly," Chiro explained as he turned his attention back to his friend.
Yuka added, "She also claims to be knowledgeable in martial techniques."
"Interesting I can definitely sense a very monstrous spiritual aura about her so it is theoretically possible there have been priestess's who have picked up the naginata and some even use the sword," Ryou explained as he pondered a moment walking over to a nearby shrine retrieving a naginata before walking over to the red-head holding it out for her to take.
The red-head reached up with both hands taking the proffered item in hand as the elder priest stepped back while she proceeded to look the weapon over before giving it a flourish.
"Oh so she knows how to use it that is to be sure." he muttered under his breath, before speaking louder this time addressing the red-head, "Does this weapon bring any memories to mind young one?"
Tilting her head as she proceeded to lean the naginata over her shoulder a thoughtful expression crossing her features saying, "I-I'm not really sure it feels like I have used something like this but I have no visions of hurting anyone with one before."
She then proceeded to remove the weapon from its place leaning over her shoulder offering it for Ryou to take which he did replacing it on the wall. He then walked over to another shrine that displayed a traditional katana taking it in hand proceeding to offer it to the red-head who took the proffered item.
She then placed it through her sash at her side as Ryou stepped back a little farther than he previously did before while Chiro and Yuka looked on.
'This feels familiar but it is not one I have ever seen before but...,' She trailed in thought as she then proceeded to take on a stance taking hold of the sheath with her left hand while with her right she took the hilt and with a flick of her left thumb she drew the blade from its sheath in a fluid fashion so quickly they didn't even see her draw it as she proceeding to do a flourish of the blade.
Ryou gained a wide-eyed shocked expression thinking, 'She drew it out like an ancient master I couldn't even see her hands move... just who no what is she?' he inwardly wondered.
He then watched her sheath the sword as he approached her as she held it out for him to take at which she also said as she did so, "I admit this feels somehow familiar but doesn't ring any bells ."
"Then with your permission may I?" he inquired as he held his hand up just in front of her forehead to which the red-head tilted her head saying, "U'm sure knock yourself out."
With that, the elder placed his hand upon her forehead seeming to concentrate before seeming to gain a look of pure terror as he scrambled back from her nearly knocking one of the nearby shrine displays over.
Chiro and Yuka converged on him proceeding to stop him from falling as the earlier said, "Ol' man Ryou are you okay what is wrong?"
The red-head watched on as Ryou thrashed around as he was trying to get out of the two elder's grips as he was trying to run away eventually he finally regained his faculties though the fear never left his eyes.
"What did you see?" Yuka inquired concerned for her and her husband's dear friend.
Ryou took some calming breaths his gaze still on the red-head, "I saw a woman of ancient origin with her likeness though she looked like she had been corrupted by a being of pure evil." he paused momentarily before continuing.
"She isn't of this world she is from beyond the veil that separates us from the Kami but her spirit is sundered by divine wrath."
The redhead hearing his words seeming to ponder since in her head she heard the words from both a young woman and an elder woman about her spirit being sundered but she couldn't place them nor when they had been said to her.
She then went on to say, "I've heard about my spirit having been sundered before but I can't remember with whom I had the conversation. Sadly with exception of that, it doesn't ring bells with me either."
"That is alright it could take time for you to remember so don't try to rush it." Yuka said reassuringly, while Ryou within his mind thinking, 'Maybe better she doesn't remember...'
He then went on to say, "It is too bad your daughter Saiya wasn't around Yuka-san she was much better than even I at cases such as this." Ryou said as the young woman would be quite helpful in this situation since she had really strong spiritual powers that lead some in the village to say she had come from beyond the veil.
"Sai-ya..." The red-head trailed aloud as she gained a thoughtful expression as a young woman with raven hair with her likeness but with catlike eyes came to mind as shivers ran up and down her spine. 'I've heard this name twice before... this person she looks like me was this my name?' she inwardly wondered to herself.
Observing the girl's expression Ryou spoke on it, "Have you recalled something after all perhaps?"
"I seem to recall that name being said twice before from somewhere and I see someone with my likeness in my mind... Perhaps this was also my name though I am not quite sure." The red-head replies her expression still one of thought.
Yuka and Chiro looked to one another whispering between the two of them before the earlier offered, "Perhaps we will call you Saiya until such a time as you are sure of who you are dear?"
"That would be okay with me as long as you are alright with it." The red-head replies softly looking to the elder couple.
Chiro then replies, "This would be quite alright with us."
