She wasn't surprised that she missed the cold daiyoukai. He helped her find her way after she was still suffering from a broken, beating heart left by his half-brother. A constant in her ever-changing life.

A fox. A mystery. A potential friend. He was the source of her excitement and Shippo's apprehension.
There were many things to process, but she found that she wanted to keep some questions unanswered. Ignorance was bliss after all. The more she learned, the more factors she had to consider.
