The ice maiden turned around. She watched silently as the fox avatar walked closer towards her.

"You have been waiting for me," she stated but meant it as a question.

Kurama nodded. "You have been with Kagome," he said in kind. She was coated with Kagome's scent of rainwater and jasmine.

He waited until she nodded in confirmation before asking, "I have some questions for you," he said.

"I might not be able to answer you, Kurama."

"What can you tell me about Kagome Higurashi?"

"That's a question that requires a lot of censorship. Her secrets are not mine to tell."

Kurama frowned. "Then what can you tell me?"
