The night came the next day, Raya was anxiously waiting for the drive to Namaari's house to be over. She seemed to have documented each and every turn by the look of her face, trying to remember Namaari's location. Soon enough, they reached some rather large houses, and Tong asked for the address number again as they pulled on Drexmore Lane.

"27454," Raya said off the top of her head as she peered out.

Tong, raising an eyebrow, smiled a tad as he began his search. It has been a while since he saw Raya like this, the open and cheerful girl she used to be. He noticed how Raya was slowly being less moody at home and more open. Tong couldn't help but feel happy for his niece, that she is slowly letting her dark past behind, letting it go.

"What?" Raya asked, "is it bad to know a friend's address?" asked the brunette frowning a bit.

"I never said that, it's nice to know that you're making friends, it's just...you seem a bit excited for this." Tong said, pulling up next to the house. "Haven't seen you this excited… in a while."

"Well yeah!" She exclaimed, "the first time I get to hang out with someone at my new school, isn't that great?!" She said, pure excitement beaming from her eyes.

"It is, now, go have fun, don't do anything stupid." He said with a wink

"Come on, uncle. Do I look like a troublemaker?," Raya rolled her eyes as she opened the car door.

"Well, you don't judge a book by its cover," Uncle Tong said.

"Yeah right," Raya nodded. "See ya Uncle Tong." She said as she hopped out of the truck. The girl then looked back at him, a nod coming from the other. Soon enough, she was staring up at the tall house, and taking a deep breath. She walked up to the front door-step, raising an arm to the door. A moment went by, and she finally knocked.

After about 20 seconds, the door opened to a grey-haired older woman, same hairstyle as Namaari. She looked down at her coldly, examining her up and down, without saying a word, making Raya feel worried for the moment.

"Good evening Mrs. Fang," Raya greeted smiling before it dropped after the older woman just looked at her coldly. "Uhmm…."

"You're late." She said quietly.

Raya's heart dropped, looking at her phone to see the time. 6:31. Her face got red as she opened her mouth to apologize in desperation.

"Ms. Fang I-" Raya stuttered. She was worried now. She wanted to make a good first impression, which she has already screwed up badly on her first visit to Namaari's house. She was panicking mentally as she tried to stay calm in front of Namaari's mother.

Out of a sudden, Namaari, the one she'd been waiting for, leapt in front of her mother, giggling.

"It's fine mother.." she couldn't help but hold back a smile during the long silence that was in between the three of them, until the both of them just burst out laughing. Ms. Fang, being the graceful one she was, raised a hand to her mouth, laughing in a more ladylike manner, while Namaari, laughed with her back hunched over.

As much as Raya loved the sound of Namaari's laugh singing through her ears, she couldn't help but stand there, awfully confused at what was going on. "Namaari?" Raya asked, perplexed.

"You..you shoulda seen the look on your face.." Namaari laughed heavily. It was then, Raya realized what was going on. "Your expression was priceless."

She crossed her arms, huffing as she made a small pout. "I-it's not funny.." she said, brow furrowing a tad. "You scared me."

Namaari chuckled as she took her hand, leading her inside the house, her laughter dying down a bit. Raya looked around the hallways of the household as she followed Namaari. "Come on, sit on the couch, you know I was just messing with you, dep 'la." She said as the three entered the living room.

'Dep 'la?' Raya thought to herself, a small blush coming across her face, her heart beating faster.

"Here, sit down first, I am in the middle of eating when you come," Namaari said warmly. "Oh don't be shy, make yourself feel like home," Namaari encouraged.

"O-ok," Raya stuttered as she sat on the couch, looking around the living room.

"I'm going to finish first, I hope you don't mind?" asked Namaari.

"Oh, of course not, it is fine," Raya chuckled as Namaari nodded and walked towards the kitchen.

Raya then noticed a few pictures on the wall of the living room. She stood up, walking towards them. The brunette looked at all the family photos of the Fang household. A small smile came across her face as she saw young Namaari and her mother, along with an older male kissing the youngling in one of the photographs. She tilted her head, curious as to who that man was. Was it her father?

Now that Raya thinks about it, Namaari hardly talks about her father a lot, and Raya didn't think to ask about it before either. Raya also realized that there weren't a lot of pictures of Namaari and her father, just two, both when Namaari was seemingly still a kid, and the rest of the pictures were just her with her mother. Raya walked back to the couch, sitting back down as she thought hard.

"You want a snack before we go?" Namaari asked, peering her head through the doorway from the kitchen.

Raya turned back, a bit surprised. She shook her head, "No thank you, I'm not hungry at the moment." She said with a small smile.

"You sure?" asked Namaari curiously.

"No thanks, I am fine, really," Raya answered smiling as Namaari walked into the kitchen.

A few moments of silence went by, until Namaari entered the room with a pastry. She was eating it, as she sat next to Raya, who was seated on the couch as she waited for the brunette, rather close actually. This made Raya's heart beat a bit faster as she shifted awkwardly. Then she noticed someone was missing, a certain blonde girl that Namaari said would come.

"Hey where's Michelle? Didn't you say that she was coming too?" Raya asked, looking at Namaari's mouthful.

The other swallowed, replying casually, "Oh she had homework to do last minute, her parents didn't let her because she had a lot." her heart sank just thinking about what happened in the locker room yesterday. But she played it off by making up a little lie that she thought was sufficient for the moment. Which it was, by the look of Raya's nod.

"Ok, it is fine. I don't mind hanging out with just you," Raya smiled. She was actually glad that Michelle wasn't there, at least she got to spend some time with Namaari alone.

"Mmm~" Namaari hummed as she got up. "Are you ready to go?" asked the brunette.

"Mhm," Raya nodded, smiling as she stood up.

The two exited the house, with consent from Ms. Fang, and soon they were entering the car. The mother watched Raya giggle slightly as Namaari opened the passenger door for her like she was a gentleman.

"My lady," Namaari quipped as she opened the door, bowing humbly, a gesture of humor of course.

"Namaari~" Raya chuckled brightly. "You are too much."

Virana couldn't help but smile at herself. She saw her interact with many girls, but with Raya, this felt different. It wasn't like those times when Namaari was hanging out with Michelle. She could feel that Namaari was somewhat nervous in a way. In truth, she was in the kitchen earlier, when Namaari was eating something. It was out of her nervousness, trying to drag on a bit of time to think.

"Be back by 11:00." Virana said, making Namaari frown a tad.

"11:30?" she haggled, but was soon caught with a slight glare from her.

"Alright, 10:30, if you want to play that game," Namaari's mother retorted.

"Oh actually, 11:00 is just fine." Namaari said nervously. "Fine, 11.00 then," the mother gave in.

"You two have fun… Oh and dear?" asked Virana.

"What?" asked Namaari curiously.

"Don't get into an accident," Virana warned.

"I won't," Namaari said firmly. "Don't you trust me? Not like I totaled Dad's car before."

"I hope I can," Virana said smiling. "Just a bit worried that you tend to mess up when you get too nervous or overly excited."

Namaari just chuckled. "See you later, mom," Namaari said before getting into the driver's seat, sitting down and closing the car door.

"So where to now?" asked Raya excitedly as she looked at Namaari as she waved at her mother while putting on her seatbelt.

"Hmmm~ Well, we got 5 hours… Let me bring you around, considering that you are still new to the city/town.

"Yeah that works," Raya said brightly.

"You good? You seem… different today," Namaari noticed as she started the car.

"Oh uh, yeah, I-I'm fine." She stuttered, smiling a bit. "Guess I'm just a bit excited." Rays added

This made Namaari smile. To know that she was excited and happy to hang out with her gave her butterflies, so she replied to Raya with the following, "I'm glad, I like this version of Raya better than the other," a wink came after that.

Rays blushed a tad, giggling in her seat. "You think?" asked Raya. She herself wasn't really realizing it either, she had completely let her guard down with Namaari, being who she used to be. The cheerful, open girl she was.

"Nope, I know," Namaari answered, smirking.

Soon enough, they were off, and Namaari was showing her around, giving her a tour of the town. Literally. She explained the different parts of town in a tour-like manner, as Raya held up her hands to take an imaginary picture of the sites, the two girls bantering in the car. The tour was a fun one with both girls basically joking and having fun, even though it was just a car ride.

"And here, we have a fire hydrant—" she snorted, bowing her head against the steering wheel. Raya was already crying from all the laughter that was going on inside the vehicle. Things only got funnier when Namaari accidentally made the car horn go off with her head hitting the steering wheel. This startled both of them, Namaari swinging her head backward, and Raya laughing even harder than before. She could've been on the floor by now if she wasn't being held by the seat belt. So, to ease herself, she leaned onto Namaari, her hand grasping her shoulder as she laid close to her chest.

"Oh oh… oh my… we almost died there," Namaari said after laughing. 'My mother is going to kill me if anything happens to this car, or me, or you," Namaari said.

"So this is your mom's car?" asked Raya curiously, remembering how Namaari's mother picked her up driving this car.

"Uhm… no… it was my dad's," Namaari said.

At this point, Raya knew she said something wrong. "Oh, uh, I am… sorry," Raya said awkwardly.

"Don't worry, I am over it already… I still miss him… but… well… not like I can go back in time and change it…" Namaari sighed as she drove.

"Can I know… what happened?" asked Raya curiously before realizing her mistake. "Oh gosh, forget I asked that… " Raya stuttered.

"Oh, no, it's fine. I'm ok with it anyway," Namaari shrugged.

The story began. Telling it in a very monotone voice, it was evident that it still had an impact on her by the look in her eyes. She told of her father being a firefighter, passing away in a major fire that happened in the nearby city. He fell 6 stories from a tall building, tumbling down through the fiery wood and smoky air.

"He died on impact of the fall, crushed by hundreds of pounds of debris." Namaari finished. The girl sighed, as Raya listened intently.

"I'm...really sorry about that Namaari…" Raya hesitantly reached out a hand to her shoulder, an act of comfort being shown by the shorter girl. "I shouldn't have asked," Raya mumbled as she realized she made a terrible mistake, mentally scolding herself as she comforted Namaari.

"It's fine...I...Life had to go on anyway… plus… I am fine now, so things are okay." She said, a sorrowful smile spread across her face.

Raya, making a look of empathy, said, "I'm glad." Her hand was still on Namaari's warm, strong shoulder. For a moment, there was silence, but it was like a moment of silence for the father. Raya thought for a moment, thinking of what to say next while angry at herself for asking such an obviously sensitive question.

"Sorry, didn't mean to bring the mood down," Namaari shrugged and drove off from the stop sign after realizing that Raya was a bit quiet.

"No, it's okay. I'm always here to listen...even if I was the one who asked about it in the first place…" Raya said quietly toward the end, looking downward in shame.

"Hey, it's fine! There's no need to worry. I'm okay with it." She said, smiling at her, until she pulled into a parking spot near the JCPenny's entrance. "And we are here!"

Raya and Namaari exited the vehicle, Raya walking next to the girl as they entered the large building. It was nice and cool outside, as they began looking at clothes in the women's section, and Namaari, being the 'tomboy' she was, couldn't help but draw her eyes to the men's department.

Raya, noticing the look on Namaari's face, set the top she was peering at down back on the hanger, and nudged Namaari, leading her to the men's department.

"I saw that look, enough about clothes for me, let's find something that'll suit you...literally…" She said with a giggle, as they crossed the suits and dressy section. Raya then ended up in the graphic tees and patterned casual wear.

"Formalness can suck my tiny whiny little d—" Namaari muttered under her breath before she was interrupted loudly by Raya.

"Hey look at this!" Raya interrupted, as she grabbed Namaari's hand and led her to a long sleeve shirt. It had a tiger on the front, with some cool lettering embroidered into the shirt. Namaari examined it, actually kind of liking the look of this shirt, smiled as she took it off the hanging bar.

"You should try it on," Raya quipped, "there's a fitting room right there, come on! I've already got a handful of stuff to try on so we can go." Namaari rolled her eyes and chuckled, as they began their stroll to the fitting rooms. She also grabbed some khaki-colored pants that were her size on the way there, and Raya entered the fitting room, and Namaari stood outside of the room as she stared at Raya, a bit tense.

Namaari tensed up, getting nervous, there were so many things that could go wrong with this. Raya could see the shaft between her legs poking through her boxers, and just like that, everything would go sideways. This wasn't part of the plan.

"Oh this is gonna be so fun, trying on so many things is going to be a blas—" Raya rambled until she realized that Namaari wasn't inside, but just standing there at the open doorway. Seeing a slightly concerned look on her face, she set her belongings down and approached her. "What's wrong?" She asked, "Did I make you uncomfortable? I shouldn't have asked you to try those on with me, I'm so sorry—" She said, anxiety entering her soul.

Namaari, trying to play it off, stuttered out quickly, "It's fine, you didn't make me uncomfortable. Come on…" she said, entering the fitting room with her, "let's get this over with," she said under her breath, nervously.

Raya furrowed her brow, "what did you say?" she asked, wondering if she heard something.

"Nothing. Now let's get this party started," Namaari said with a smile. This only resulted in Raya smiling back, and turning around to take her shirt off. Namaari almost jumped from how forward Raya was with this. She thought that Raya would be a bit shy to strip, given how shy she was already at school Namaari watched her for a moment, before she shook her head, and turned around herself, sliding off her pants. She realized that she had a small boner by just that look that was given to Raya.

'Fuck.' she thought to herself. That fantasy of hers is creeping through her mind once more, one very arousing and carnal fantasy.

She made another look behind her, making sure that Raya wasn't watching, and squinted her eyes shut at the sight of her almost bare back. The only thing covering it was a lacy bra, different from what she would see in the locker rooms. The image was burned into the back of her eyelids, and shaking her head, she then adjusted her privates, making sure that her boner wasn't too visible. After that, she slipped her new pants over her boxers.

Namaari couldn't really enjoy the fun of it as she was too busy worrying about how Raya might see her, and what could happen after that. She already screwed up with Michelle the day before, she cannot screw things up with Raya. And who knows how Raya might react, she could be totally freaked out and hate her for it. Namaari is not going to take that chance.

"Alright, I'm ready when you are." She said, still giving her some privacy. Plus saving herself from another hard on.

"Me too," Raya replied, and soon they both spun around, taking a look at each other. Raya was wearing a floral blouse, the edges of the top rested right below her shoulders as the bottom of the blouse exposed her midriff, her v-line as well. Namaari just stood there, staring as she swore Raya probably found out she had a dick. She felt it so hard down there. She once again felt her heartbeat going faster as her cheeks felt burning hot.

"So, what do you think? Yay or nay?" She said, spinning her torso around for Namaari to get a good look. Namaari, definitely was getting a good look, as she gulped. All that could be seen from her was a nod of her head. Namaari would have said more if she wasn't so self conscious while in awe at the same time.

"Y- yeah… That looks so good on you Raya." Namaari said softly.

"Aww~ Thank you," Raya blushed, thanking her, and began to take off her shirt right in front of her. Namaari shielded her eyes with her hand however, resulting in Raya giggling. She then felt a hand on her own, pulling the limb down. "You don't need to do that dep 'la, besides, we're both girls." She quipped with a smile. Namaari couldn't help but stare at her. Her collarbone, her neck, her stomach, and her cleavage. She blushed, eyeing the other.

Raya's face then fell slightly, as she realized where Namaari was looking. A deep shade of red came across her cheeks. "Uhmm… let me look for something else to try on," suggested the girl. Letting go of the other, Raya turned back around and went to go fish through the other shirts and pants.

Namaari, realizing that she might've messed up, reached out to Raya to apologize. "I-I'm sorry Raya, I didn't mean to uh…"

"It's fine, you couldn't help it.." She began with her arms folded across her chest. She turned around and gave a smile toward the other. "A lot of people think I'm hot. So I get it. But… well… I don't think so," Raya sighed. "I don't look… hot. There are other people that look better than me anyway. Like you."

Was Raya really comparing her to other people? Like, in a bad way? Namaari's face held her gaze into the other's eyes. "Well I'm not like a lot of people." She said, Raya's face fell.

"I think you're…beautiful…and cute…and hot…and good looking…" Namaari, realizing that she was maybe saying a bit too much, looked elsewhere, flinching for a possible smack from the other.

Raya couldn't help but smile even more, giggling lightly at the remark. "You think so?"

Namaari opened her eyes and looked at her again, "Well yeah. I mean look at you." She chuckled. "Plus, I really am not like everyone else because I think you're more than just 'hot' as you say." She laughed, quoting the other.

Raya couldn't help but laugh as well, running a hand through her hair nervously. "Thank you…I could say the same about you." She said, glancing up at the other. Namaari then smiled as Raya turned back around to put on the shirt.

Once it was on, she turned around, only to see Namaari again. "You never told me how these pants look." She said, smiling, turning around.

"Oh yeah, let me take a look." She said, examining the pants. The other spun around, as Raya watched and took it all in. She then approached her, taking the hem of her shirt gently. "May I?" She asked, looking up at her. Namaari nodded after a moment, and Raya lifted the shirt up to where she could see the top of the pants. They were quite loose, to the point that they were almost falling off her waist. But she couldn't help but notice the large hem of the underwear she wore.

'Why is she wearing boxers?' she thought to herself. Shaking the thought off after a moment, she let go of the shirt, letting it fall down back to its original place.

"You're going to need a belt for those pants, but other than that, it looks fine on you." She said with a smile. Namaari smiled back, nodding her head. But Raya couldn't help but keep thinking about why she had some men's underwear on. Throughout the changing session, she finally asked her out of curiosity.

"Namaari?" Raya called.

"Mhm?" Namaari hummed, as she changed her shirt.

"Why do you have boxers on? I-I couldn't help but notice while I was making sure your pants weren't too loose on the waist…" She said, tying her shoes.

Namaari's heart stopped. She knew. Dang it, she knew. She tried to think of something to cover it up, however, trying to save herself. "I uh…I wear them cause they're more comfortable." She quickly made up, hoping that the lie was able to convince Raya.

Raya nodded, "Ahh, that makes sense." She said, her thoughts resolving. "I guess boxers are more comfortable than panties," Raya said. "I should try sometimes."

"Y- Yeah, maybe you could," Namaari stuttered awkwardly.

The girls soon were finished with the changing area, and off they were to look at some other stuff around the store. Eventually, they were in the actual mall itself, walking down the long hallways of the building. The mall was, of course, filled with people. But Raya being the anxious bunch she was, couldn't help but notice a group of boys following them as they walked. She was beginning to feel worried. At first, she thought she was imagining things, but as she kept looking back the boys were somehow still there. Then, Raya just shrugged it off, thinking that she was imagining too much.

They turned corners, the boys followed. They entered shops, and the boys followed. Namaari and Raya chatted as they walked around, but the shorter girl began to get concerned. Soon reaching a restroom, they parted, leaving Raya alone to wait for Namaari to finish her business. Then, after a moment, the boys approached her, mischievous smirks on their faces. Raya stood back, looking up at the familiar taller figures. A group of 5.

"Hey, what's up?" What looked like the head of the pack stood in front of the others, and spoke up as the group closed in.

"Uhh…nothing…what's up with you…?" She asked, looking at him up and down. Her brow was furrowed as she moved back a bit.

"Oh nothing, just thought I'd kill some time with a cutie like you." He said with a wink. Raya only cringed slightly, she was trembling slightly.

"You can leave now, I think you've had enough time with me." Raya said, though her anxiety was rising. She was scared, she wanted to run into the restroom but as she turned around, she saw a few boys standing there.

"Hmm… Don't lie," the guy said as he walked forward. "It is not nice to lie. I know I am handsome, and you are shy-" the taller person said confidently.

Raya mentally scolded herself. How could she have let her guard down so easily? And because of that, now, she was in a hallway, where there were no other people, and surrounded by a group of boys. A scenario all too familiar for the girl. Raya's breath grew rapid as she looked around, memories of a similar scenario flooding back. She closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down and forget about it.

"Hey they cutie, what are you doing?" asked a tall guy as he pinned Raya to the door, around them was a group of seven, mixed with boys and girls. "Mmm~ Done our homework?" asked the boy.

"Y- Yes… I did… I did…" Raya closed her eyes in fear as she handed the books in her hand.

"Ah, good girl," the boy chuckled as he passed the books along to his 'friends' before opening his.

"Hmm everything seems to be in order here," said the boy before a girl interrupted.

"Hey, she forgot to do page 42 on my book," said the girl, closing her book angrily, glaring at Raya.

"Mines too!" said another guy.

Raya closed her eyes. She was half wondering if she actually forgot to do it or were they trying to find excuses to hurt her again. "I am-m s-so-sorry," Raya stuttered in fear as she trembled, her body shaking with anxiety, knowing what was about to come as the group closed in on her.

"What is going on here?" came a familiar feminine voice, prompting the group to turn around.

"Oh hey, Namaari. None of your business, get away," the head of the pack said.

Namaari instantly recognized him. The tall and athletic guy was Tyler, a senior from school. One of the popular guys. And apparently, given Namaari's reputation and that they were on the same team, he recognized her too.

Namaari then looked at the guy, in front of her was Raya, being cornered by this group of boys, a group of boys that have no dignity nor shame of doing this. This made Namaari's blood boil as she clenched her fist. She looked at Raya. The poor girl was scared, backing up against the wall as the guy walked forward.

"Come on Raya, let's go," Namaari said as she gestured for the girl to come forward.

Raya wanted to make a move before the tall boy closed in, making her wince in fear once more. "Sorry, your friend and I are having a lovely conversation," the tall teen said, smirking. His face closer towards Raya, who was hyperventilating now yet the boys don't seem to notice.

Namaari looked around her. There were five guys, and they were in a secluded hallway. There was no way she could fight off five people at the same time. She would likely be beaten up. Out of desperation, Namaari played a risky card.

"Hey! That is my girlfriend you are messing with!" Namaari said loudly, and once again the group of boys turned to look at her, some in surprise, some with a look of disgust on their faces.

"Oh your girlfriend?" asked the teen unconvinced as he looked at Namaari turning towards her. "She sure got poor taste," he spat. "So poor that I actually don't believe you. You could be lying," he pointed out.

"I have nothing to prove to you, Tyler," Namaari said angrily. "Let her go!"

"Actually you do, cause Raya… is it? Yeah, Raya. If you are not her girlfriend… I call dibs on her, cause she looks a hundred times better than you," the teen said. "So… prove it."

Namaari looked conflicted now. She realized she potentially just made the worst mistake ever. But it was working, the boys backed away as they let Namaari walk forward. "How do you want me to prove it?" asked Namaari. "Not like we have a certificate for dating," the girl scoffed.

"What else? Kiss her dyke! If what you said was true, a simple kiss is no problem, right?" challenged the head of the group as they looked at them.

Namaari was mentally scolding herself now. What has she just got themselves into? She looked around, thinking about running But it was impossible. They couldn't possibly outrun five guys in a place like this. Namaari looked at Raya, who was still hyperventilating, but slowly calming down as Namaari was close to her.

"Raya, just calm down alright," Namaari said softly as she got close to the girl. "I'm sorry," Namaari whispered, practically mouthing before she pressed her lips against Raya's for a bit before their lips parted, taking the other girl by surprise.

Raya just leaned on the wall, still trying to process what happened. She was just surrounded by a group of guys that were about to take advantage of her. And Namaari came out of the restroom, claiming that she was her girlfriend, and just kissed her. Raya just looked at Namaari blankly as she processed it all.

"Well, it seems you are telling the truth, dyke," the guy scoffed, somewhat disappointed as he looked at the two girls.

"Happy now Tyler?" Namaari scowled. "Can we go now?"

"Hey hey, calm down. You can go now," the guy said, raising his hands, gesturing for the group to back away.

Namaari glared at the five boys before holding Raya's hand and leading her out of the hallway. She wanted so badly to turn around and beat Tyler, but she knew well that there was no way she was going to go up against a group of seniors. She dismissed the thought, hoping that there would be another chance. She looked at Raya worried, knowing that what she just did, was going to affect everything between them.

The drive home was rather quiet, Namaari tried to make conversation, but it always ended shortly by the other. Raya seemed to still be processing the whole thing, but Namaari wanted to confront her and really apologize.

"Raya." She called, only to be answered by silence. She looked toward the other who was eyeing her quietly.

"I really am… sorry about that. You know, what happened at the mall with those guys." She said.

Raya nodded, "It's...fine. I understand that you were just trying to protect me. Nothing else...it seems."

Namaari tilted her head a bit, then nodded. "I won't do it again if you don't want me to. I'll find another way out." She said after a moment.

Raya's face stayed the same, but the look in her eyes said otherwise. "It's..not that I don't want you doing it again, it's just that I wasn't prepared for it. It was out of the blue. But at this point, I'd take anything for safety." She said, sighing softly, glancing at Namaari.

Namaari stopped the car. They were back at her house, sitting in the car that was against the curb. She didn't know what to say to that. A thought came into her mind, but she shook it off. However, it seemed to be the only thought that came inside. Her mind was blank.

"Let's go inside," Namaari said, taking Raya back inside the house.

"Hey mom, we're home." called the girl as she held the other's hand.

"Hey girls, it's quite early! Only 10:15." Mother said. as she wiped the kitchen counter.

"Yeah, we decided to come home a bit early. Is it okay if Raya stays until 11:00?" Namaari asked, looking at Raya. She looked like she kind of wanted to.

"Yeah sure, just don't do anything you'd regret honey." She said, a smirk coming across her face.

Namaari rolled her eyes, "Mom, stop…we'll be upstairs in my room." She said, and soon they were off.

They entered the room, filled with trophies, medals, and all sorts of awards from soccer. Raya looked around, smiling a bit at the many achievements she made. "This...is home." She said, smiling as she walked backwards, her arms out slightly. However, Raya saw that she was about to step on a tennis ball laying on the floor, so she grabbed her hand and pulled her forward, the two falling on the bed. Namaari flumped on Raya, as Raya gasped. After a second, Namaari realized that she was literally on top of Raya, and lifted herself up above her. Raya's face, a crimson red, stuttered out, "s-sorry you were about to step on something that would hurt and—"

Namaari couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. "It's fine, this is much better than falling on the ground anyways." Namaari said, but then realizing that it may have been too much, quickly scrambled off of her. "Sorry…" She said, the two sat on the bed. Raya's heart was beating quickly now, as she was slightly turned on at the fact that Namaari had been so close to her.

Silence. Awkward silence was the only thing that could be heard between the two. That was all until Raya began with something that she was unsure of the outcome of.

"I uh...I've never actually kissed anyone before...actually…" She said, looking elsewhere.

The other looked down at Raya, listening.

"It uh…felt weird...but nice at the same time." She said, her blush getting more prominent. It was then she realized that she was trying to go someplace with this.

Namaari wanted to say something, but kept her mouth shut.

"I...kind of…" she began, until she stopped for a moment, Namaari finishing her sentence.

"You...want to…"

"Again. I want to do it again, Namaari." She said, finally looking up at the other. Namaari held her breath for a second. Was this really happening? She was asking her to kiss her again?

"Are you sure?" She asked the girl. Scooting up closer to her.

Raya nodded, feeling the heat of Namaari's body elevating toward hers.

"A-alright...I'll be gentle...I promise…" She said, but Raya only made a small smirk as she bit her lip.

Their heads edged in closer to each other's, until their lips finally met. Namaari led the kiss, moving her lips on the other girl until she finally caught on and began doing the same. She kissed her, gently for a few seconds, until Raya began to take control.

Their kiss began to get more passionate, Raya's voice couldn't help but make a small grunt at how Namaari accidentally bit her lip. She kept going, her heart racing, until she parted quickly to take a breath, their eyes opening just a bit to take a look at each other, before they dove back in for each other's touch. Namaari slowly moved her tongue inside the other's mouth, resulting in a moan escaping Raya's lips. Raya did the same with her own tongue, tangling it with the other girl's. Eventually, Raya found herself on top of Namaari, pinning her wrists down onto the bed. The kiss soon slowed itself, and they parted, leaving Namaari breathless. For a hot moment, they just stared at each other. Panting a bit, until Raya rolled off of Namaari, she shifted onto her butt to sit down, gulping.

"Sorry if that was a bit much…I guess you could say I got hungry—" Raya managed to quip before Namaari sat up and laughed.

Namaari chuckled before frowning. They had been so caught up in the moment before realizing what just happened.

Raya looked at the frown on Namaari's face, and that got her worried. "Namaari... what are we now?" asked Raya unsurely. "We are still friends…. Right?" asked Raya, confused at what could happen. She just deeply kissed her best friend, surely things can't be normal now. Raya was panicking now. What if Namaari didn't like it? What if she didn't actually feel the same way?

Honestly, Namaari expected to hear Raya say that she felt the same way, given that she just kissed. Either that or it was her high expectations that made her feel disappointed. If Raya is saying this, that means… she didn't feel the same way. Namaari concluded.

"Y- Yeah… we are still friends," Namaari said, stuttering, looking at the girl who sat on her bed now.

"Okay…?" Raya said, unsurely.

"Okay," Namaari nodded.

An awkward silence took over the two girls as they both looked at each other for a while before Raya spoke.

"Uh… I should go," Raya said awkwardly, looking at the time on her watch.

Outside the mall, it was late at night. The five guys were just walking around two cars, theirs.

"Urgh… That was a total bust," said the head of the group.

"Don't worry Tyler, they will be better girls, plenty of fishes in the sea," his friend said.

"I am just… so angry at Namaari. She thinks she can just come in anytime, and butt in other people's businesses? Who does she think she is? She took my fame… All because… she is a girl," Tyler scoffed. "Just cause she is a soccer 'superstar' and a top student doesn't mean anything," the guy threw the can in his hand down.

"I know, I mean, we saw how your brother, Danny, was thrown down by Namaari right? I think she was trying to protect the same girl a few weeks back," another shorter guy said.

"You sure Dave?" asked Tyler. "Oh… to think about it… you are right," Tyler realized. "Well, that bitch got away again."

"Not neccesary," said a tall person as he looked at his phone.

"What do you mean Julius?" asked Tyler lazily as he walked over towards the guy, looking at the screen on his phone. His frown turned into a smirk. "Oh ho, time to get payback," Tyler chuckled. "That bitch is not going to like this."
