Author note: Just want to thank the readers for continuing to fave and follow even though it appears that this story is dead. Though at times I did want to abandon this story. In any event I'm posting this chapter to show that this story isn't dead yet, that said I probably won't be posting again for this story until I've either completed this story or have gotten far enough along that I see the end in sight.
Also a note on the Bagua Taijutsu style in this story. it's not real life Bagua. It my plan is to make it a combination of Juken and Goken. Though with the use of elbows and knee attacks added into it.
Final note, this chapter has only been slightly edited, but after six years of no updates I just want to get this chapter posted.

... "Is there any special notes you'd like me to add, like details about clan jutsu, bloodline limits and the like." Hiruzen asked.
This time it was Hanae that spoke, "I can give you a verbal report instead, if you'd like Hokage-sama."
Hiruzen nodded, "That is acceptable, and will speed this process along. So please proceed Hanae-chan."
Hanae nodded, " In regards to a family bloodline and clan jutsu, due to a miraculous turn of events we can now add the ice release and my ice jutsu as a family trait." Hanae said with a bright smile.
Hiruzen eyes widened at hearing this.
"Does that mean?" Hiruzen asked, as he easily pieced it together, but wanting to hear it said out loud.
"IT SURE DOES JIJI. I GOT MY KAA-CHAN'S ICE ABILITY ...DATTEBAYO!" Naruto shouted, with a wide smile on his face.
Chapter six. The Return of the Uzumaki and the Birth of Team Sixteen
"I am happy for you Naruto-kun and to think you'd somehow have Hanae-chan's bloodline limit is both a surprising and a great turn of fortune… I'm sure this made you very happy Naruto-kun." Hiruzen said with a smile.
"Yeah, isn't it great?" Naruto exclaimed loudly, still smiling brightly.
Hiruzen nodded in agreement with the blond haired boy he thought of as a grandson.
"It certainly is Naruto-kun...Well let's finish this up, and make the return of the Uzumaki official." Hiruzen said, as he pull out the necessary document and push it across the table.
Not long afterwards Naruto, Hanae and Iruka walked out of the Hokage tower and made their way toward the training ground so they could continue their son's training.
"So shall we go right back to training or should we go get a bite to eat first?" Iruka suddenly asked.
"I think it would be good if we got something to eat, since we skipped breakfast Iruka-kun." Hanae was the once to answer after thinking it over.
Gurgle… Naruto's stomach loudly whined and the blond boy held his tummy in embarrassment, "Yeah, I think going for something to eat would be awesome…Can we go to Ichiraku's and get ramen Kaa-chan?" Naruto pleaded as he gave his mother a puppy dog look.
Hanae sighed. She had told Naruto he would have to cut down on ramen last night and she needed to stick to her word.
"Sorry Naruto-kun, but not today." Hanae said.
"Awww… But why not Kaa- chan?" Naruto asked loudly with a pout.
Hanae gave a serious look as she spoke.
"Because if you want to get big and strong, then you're going to have to start eating health. It's also so you'll get the maximum benefits out of your training…You do want to get big and strong don't you Musuko?" Hanae asked.
"OFF COURSE I WANT TO GET STRONG KAA-CHAN! DATTEBAYO!" Naruto shouted, and flailing his arms comically.
And Hanae nodded with a serious expression on her face.
"Then you'll need to get a lot more nutrients into your body, so it can grow properly … But don't worry; you can still have ramen every so often. You'll just have to practice moderation." Hanae explained.
"Oh…Well if it's to become a badass ninja then I guess sacrifices have to be made. No matter how much it hurts." Naruto said solemnly, as he shed tears comically.
Hanae giggled at her son's antics, despite herself.
"Naruto-kun I'm glad you're now more agreeable to cutting back on ramen, and I promise you won't regret it after you start seeing the results of a healthy diet." Hanae smiled at her son.
"Ok, Kaa-chan!" Naruto said happily, his desire to protest having fizzled upon hearing his Kaa-chan's reasoning.
Iruka went slacked jawed, "But how!" Iruka sheirked, ""I've been trying for years to get him to stop eating ramen everyday, but I failed. And then you come along Hanae-chan and succeed without any effort. Unbelievable. " Iruka exclaimed to his fiancee.
Hanae giggled, "Well Iruka-kun, maybe Naruto-kun just knows not to make his Kaa-chan sad"
"You bet Kaa-chan, but it's your cooking that makes cutting back on ramen much more bearable. "Naruto said with a cheery smile, a smile that widened at seeing the Yuhi family approaching them.
Iruka hung his head in defeat, but smiled at hearing what Naruto said and Hanae smiled softly as well.
"I can agree with you on that Naruto-kun. Your mother's quite a good cook." Iruka agreed, as he also spotted the Yuhi family.
Hanae's smiled at being complimented on her cooking, and at seeing the Yuhi family. Having spotted them even before Naruto did.
"Hey, Hinata-chan, Hanabi Imouto-chan and Kurenai-san! How are you all doing today?" Naruto yelled, with a wave to the Yuhi family and rushed to meet them.
"Hi, Naruto-kun/nii-chan!" Both Hinata and Hanabi shouted with a wave.
"Hi everyone. It so nice you see you all this morning." Hanae greeted.
"Hi, how are you all doing?" Iruka asked.
"So did you guys do anything exciting today…Perhaps some training?" Naruto asked brightly after he reached the Yuhi sisters, and the blond boy laughed as both girls hugged him tightly.
"Hello as well, and we're doing good Naruto. it's also nice to see you, Iruka and Hanae. As for what we're doing today... We were just doing some shopping for some new clothes and equipment, but we'll be training later on in the day I believe." Kurenai answered with a smile.
Naruto smiled widened, "So how's your training going girls? I'm sure you're both learning some awesome new moves."
Hinata smiled gently, "Well, I've just been working on a couple of Genjutsu and refining my Taijutsu a bit with Kurenai kaa-chan's help." The bluenette confirmed.
Hanabi sulked a bit, "I've only been working on my Taijutsu and the basics… I don't get to work on the cool stuff like my Nee-chan does because Kurenai kaa-san says I'm not ready for that yet."
Naruto gave an understanding nod and rubbed the little girl's head, "I know what you mean Hanabi- imouto, but I'm sure you'll get there in time! Dattebayo" Naruto loudly encouraged.
Hanabi smiled as she looked up at her Nii-chan.
"Thank you, Nii-chan." The little girl exclaimed, as she hugged her big brother figure tightly.
Kurenai and Hinata both smiled at Naruto as well for lifting uo Hanabi's spirits. They had been getting concerned that Hanabi was getting discouraged with her training, since she was still stuck on learning the basics, and practicing her Taijutsu.
"So how's your training coming along Naruto-kun?" Hinata asked to change the subject and Hanabi gave her sister a grateful look.
"As for my training." Naruto started, "I've been working on Taijutsu as well and I've been working hard on my chakra control to." Naruto finished with a proud smile. "I've gotten tons better than I used to be… Dattebayo!" Naruto exclaimed.
Hinata smiled, "Well you've been busy I see, I'm looking forward to seeing how much stronger you've gotten Naruto-kun."
Naruto blushed at hearing Hinata's words.
"Anyways we should get going; we're having a family training session today as well." Iruka informed.
"It was nice seeing you all." Hanae said with a smile.
Kurenai smiled.
"So farewell for now. It was good to see you all to." Kurenai said.
"Yeah, I'll see you all later and I'll pick you up at your house Hinata-chan tomorrow, so we can walk to the training ground together. How does that sound?" Naruto shouted.
Hinata smiled and nodded, "I'd like that and I'll see you tomorrow Naruto-kun, and I hope to see you and Iruka sensei again soon Hanae-san…I hope you all have a great day."
"Bye Naruto-nichan., Hanae-san and Iruka-sensei" Hanabi waved.
After saying their farewells, the two families went their separate ways.

A half hour later. At the training ground.
The Uzumaki family, after having a lunch was now standing in the middle of training ground they had been using for the past few days. Hanae smiled gently as she watched her son warm up; while having two hundred clones simultaneously work on finishing the Tree Walking Exercise. Hanae smiled widened; knowing her son would finish the Tree Walking Exercise very soon. If his rapid progress was anything to go by.
"Ok, I think you''re now warmed up sufficiently Musuko… So we can now start our sparring session and your goal is to land one solid hit on me." Hanae instructed, as she entered a Bagua stance. A stance that resembles the basic stance that Juken practitioners commonly use. (Think of the stance Neji and Hinata took during the chunin exam preliminary round.)
Naruto grinned excitedly, as he entered his own Bagua stance, "Alright Kaa-chan… I'll land that hit on you before you know it." Naruto said as he dashed forward with his left palm leading the way.
Iruka smiled at Naruto's boost, "Heh… You're way too young to land a hit on your mother anytime soon. Naruto-kun." Iruka said loud enough for Naruto hear.
"We'll see about that Tou-chan!" Naruto exclaimed loudly.
Hanae smiled at her son.
"Ok then, come at me whenever you're ready Musuko-kun." Hanae ordered.
The blond haired boy didn't hesitate, as dashed at his mother, with his palm poised to strike.
"Ha!" Naruto yelled, and sent a palm strike at Hanae, who easily pushed her son's strike to the side with her palm.
Undeterred Naruto spun a around and delivers a turning side kick to Hanae' s mid section , and followed it up with a flurry of palm strikes, punches elbows and kick all of which were easily blocked, deflected or dodged by Hanae.
Hanae then caught an overextended strike by Naruto and struck him in the chest with a palm strike of her own.
Naruto grunted in pain, as he was sent flying backward twenty feet, but the blond haired boy dug in his heels to slow himself down and maintained his balance.
As soon as the blond haired boy came to a stop he immediately charged at his mother. Naruto covered the twenty distance between them quickly and attacked with a rapid series of palm strikes, with few kicks thrown in, all of which Hanae easily dodged or deflected.
Naruto then punched to which Hanae blocked this time and the blond haired boy's eyes widened, as Hanae smile gently. Before reversing her son's momentum, with one hand holding his wrist and t her hand on his elbow pushing it upwards, while simultaneously doing a leg sweep and using the leverage to take her blond haired son down to ground.
Naruto grunted in pain, but he could regain his bearings his mother was hovering over him with her palm an inch away from his face.
Hanae smiled, as she took her son's hand and helped him up to his feet.
"Good work Musuko.-kun"
However, Naruto was frowning.
"But I didn't come anywhere close to hittting you Kaa-chan!" Naruto said, with some frustration. In his tone, as he looked up at his Kaa-chan.
Hanae, her smile still present on her face ruffled her son's hair.
"Don't stress over it to much Naruto-kun... I gave you the task of landing a hit on me so you'd have goal to work towards. It's not a test and there's no time limit. So instead of rushing to land a hit on me, instead think of it as being only a matter of time before you attain your goal. If you work hard for it." Hanae comforted.
Naruto thought about what his Kaa-chan just said and nodded.
"Ok Kaa-chan...I think I understand. You don't want me to feel pressured to succeed in hitting you in record time! Dattebayo!" Naruto declared loudly and smiling brightly.
Hanae nodded to her son and smiled just as brightly.
"Exactly right Musuko-kun...So are you ready for round two?" Hanae asked her son with a grin.
And Naruto returned his mother grin, as he hop back fifteen feet and entered his Bagua stance again.
"I was born ready Kaa-chan! Dattebayo!" Naruto loudly declared.
Hanae smiled again.
"Ok then...Let us continue." Hanae also declared.
And off to the side stood Iruka and he was smiling proudly at his son.
'I'm proud of Musuko-kun' Where Iruka's only thought.
Two days later. Sunday April 17th, 11:45. The training ground.
From a distance, the sounds of combat could be heard, as a mother and son duo struck at each other in rapid session. Naruto and his mother had been sparring for four hours and the blond boy hadn't even come close to reaching his goal yet of landing a hit on his mother.
Naruto threw a series of rapid palm strikes at his mother, who blocked them all with ease, he spun around, got in close and tried an elbow strike, then followed it up with a low side kick. But Hanae moved out of way of the elbow and deflected the kick by deflecting it. Naruto sighed in frustration at not being able to land a hit. And at seeing her son was distracted, Hanae suddenly got inside her son's guard and hit him with a palm strike to his stomach, which doubled him over in pain, then she leg swept him. Causing Naruto to be briefly airborne, before falling to the ground back first for the umpteenth time.
"Ouch." Naruto said in a dull tone.
Iruka smiled broadly at the scene of the mother and son bonding experience.
Hanae smiled as well, "You're getting better Naruto-kun…I'd say you''ve just entered the novice level in Bagua or low genin level in Taijutsu for comparison sake. Which is beyond impressive considering you only started learning Bagua a few days ago and you were previously high academy level at best in Taijutsu." Hanae stated with pride.
In two days, with the help of lots of shadow clones and training six hours a day Naruto had also finished learning the Tree Walking Exercise, then move on to and finished Water Walking Exercise, and learned his first ice manipulation trick. It wasn't anything grand, but by concentrating, the user can create weights of ice; with the weight being determined by the amount of chakra the user put into them. As of right now, Naruto had twenty-five pounds on each limb. He also had an ice belt around his waist, that had criss-crossing straps along his torso that weighted fifty pounds. His mother had said it was a good way to build up his strength and speed.
In addition, Naruto with his mother's guidance, was experimenting with how many clones he could safely use for training. He was now allowed to employ three hundred clones for training purposes and could keep them active for six hours a day.
Currrently the blond boy uses one hundred and fifty clones each for both taijutsu and chakra control training. Suffice it to say it was exhausting work, but Naruto quickly recovered. Also his training didn't end when he got home. His mother had started teaching him anatomy two nights ago as well; focusing on the vitals and pressure points of the body for the time being. And he used shadow clones to learn that quicker as well.
"Yeah, but I'm still not close to good enough to hit you yet Kaa-chan." Naruto whined.
"Hanae smiled, "Don't be so hard on yourself Naruto-kun, you only just begun training seriously after all. And I promise you'll get better the more you practice…You just have to be patient." Hanae comforted.
Naruto just nodded halfheartedly at hearing his Kaa-chan's words. Still feeling somewhat dejected
Hanae sighed, seeing that her son was still somewhat discouraged, "Anyways I think that's enough sparring for today, so why don't you go back to practicing your circle walking for one hour…Then run three laps around the village, after that five hundred pushups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, and finally one hour of stance practice." Hanae ordered, with her smile never leaving her face.
Naruto smiled, despite himself.
"Ok Kaa-chan." Naruto said happily, as he got to work on the laundry list of training drills his Kaa-chan set out for him to do.
And it was as Naruto had just begun to circle walk that Iruka came over to stand beside his fiancée.
"He has come a long way in a few days hasn't he my love?" Iruka noted.
Hanae looked at Iruka and nodded with her smile still in place.
"Yes, Iruka-kun that he has." Hanae agreed.
Monday April 18th. The Uzumaki residence, nearly 0400.
Iruka was still asleep when Hanae woke up, so the Uzumaki woman agilely slipped out of his grip without waking him.

Naruto was sleeping like the dead when Hanae crept into his room. Hanae saw her son was entangled in his blankets and to top it off he was snoring and had drool coming out his of mouth. Hanae giggled quietly at the sight, but Naruto had to get up and the best way to accomplish the feat was to give him a shock. Hanae grinned impishly, as her left hand formed a seal for a weak water jutsu, and then she blasted her blond son with it.
Naruto was having the best dream. He had just made Hokage and was an awesomely powerful ninja, he had Hinata as his wife and they had two great kids. All was right with his world when all of a sudden a torrent of ice cold water was dumped on his head from the heavens, which was weird since he was inside the Hokage's tower.
Naruto awoke suddenly with a start, soaked to the bone and shivering due to it being ice cold water.
"DAMN THAT'S COLD." Naruto heard giggling and looked to see his mother was giggling at his expense.
"Mind your language Naruto-kun." Hanae chided her son softly; with a smile on her face after regaining her composure.
Naruto just grumbled,
"Is there a reason why you decided to dump a sh..." At seeing his mother's face become stern Naruto amended what he was about to say." I mean a ton of water on me Kaa-chan?" Naruto asked
Hanae smiled at Naruto for correcting himself, before answering his question.
"Did you forget that your new training begins at 5 am today Naruto-kun." Hanae asked.
Naruto's eyes widened at that, and he forgot his discomfort and jumped out of his bed.
"Thanks for reminding me Kaa-chan!" Naruto shouted, as he rushed into his bathroom for a quick shower.
"Your welcome Naruto-kun." Hanae said quietly; with a smile on her face, as she quickly dried her son's bedding with her chakra.
Soon after a sleepy looking Iruka came into the room.
"What was all that racket about Hanae-chan?" Iruka asked.
"Oh…I'm sorry Iruka-kun, did we wake you up …It was my fault really, since I blasted our Musuko with a cold water jutsu." Hanae replied with a sheepish smile.
Iruka smiled tiredly and hugged his fiancé and kissed her. To which Hanae responded in kind.
"It's alright honey." Iruka assured.
Hanae returned her lover's smile with one of her own,
"Why don't we both go downstairs and I'll make breakfast." Hanae suggested
"Sounds like a good plan." Iruka agreed.
Hanae nodded and made Naruto's bed and after that, the two lovers made their way downstairs.
Ten minutes later Naruto raced down the stairs fully dressed and sat at the table just as his mother put a large bowl of ramen down for him. Naruto proceeded to eat quickly, as he chatted with his parents. Not long afterwards the family finished their meal.
"BYE KAA-CHAN…TOU-CHAN. I'M GOING NOW!" Naruto shouted, as he ran to the front door. Getting a yelled goodbye back from his dad.
"No need to be so loud, but yes let's get going Naruto-kun." Hanae agreed; having already caught up to her son after saying her goodbyes to Iruka, "We will meet up at training ground sixteen… As that'll be our new training ground from now on. Also don't get distracted with Hinata-chan and arrive late Musuko. "Hanae said with a smile, as she hugged her son.
The blond boy's smiled and he hugged his mother back.
"Ok, Kaa-chan we won't be late…I'll see you soon! Dattebayo!" Naruto loudly cheered, as he released the hug and ran out the door; running in the direction of Hinata's house.
Hanae walked out into the morning air, as she watched her son go until she lost sight of him, and then she vanished in a flash of ice.

Kurenai's House
Hinata nodded as she looked at herself in the mirror and she smiled when she heard the doorbell ring.
The Yuhi girl then ran down the stairs and opened the door and her smile widened upon seeing it was Naruto. The blond boy, however, was gaping in shock at Hinata's new look. She wore a light blue blouse and dark blue legging, and black slipper-like shoes. She also had a kunai holster on left thigh and a shuriken holster on her right.
"Hi, Naruto-kun." Hinata said brightly.
"Hey, Hinata-chan…You look very pretty today." Naruto returned with a smile and a blush.
Hinata giggled and blushed, as she hugged the blond boy tightly; causing Naruto to blush deeper as he hugged her back.
"Thank you Naruto-kun. The fact you like my new outfit means the world to me."
"Anyways let's be off then. We don't want to be late after all." Naruto suddenly said and Hinata nodded in return as he took her hand into his.
Training ground sixteen.
It didn't take long for Naruto and Hinata to arrive at training ground sixteen; having ran all the way there. Now the couple walked into the training area to see a white haired teen with green eyes that was standing next to their sensei. The albino seeing that his team had arrived went to stand next to them.
Naruto smiled sheepishly, "I hope we're not late."
"No, you're actually five minutes early, which is a good thing because I don't like it when people are late." The albino replied in an emotionless tone.
Hinata and Naruto just nodded awkwardly at the albino; not sure what to make of their new teammate and his stoic personality. To Naruto the albino kind of reminded him of Sasuke. The blond haired boy was about to introduce himself when he was interrupted by his mother.
"Naruto-kun, Hinata-chan I'm glad you make it on time." Hanae started," So, first off I'll explain some things to you all, so everyone please take a seat." Hanae instructed and the trio did as they were told. With Hinata sitting next to Naruto.
Hanae smiled ,as she continued, "Now, for the time being we are Team Sixteen and during this program you will be given the rank of acting genin …As for the program itself. The first four months will be team training exclusively and the last four months you will go back to the academy to work with or compete against your fellow genin potentials and be assigned to take on missions. In addition to our regular team training of course." Hanae explained
Naruto grumbled at hearing he'd have to go back to the academy and Hinata rubbed his back comfortingly. To which the blond boy sent her an appreciative smile, a smile which she returned.
Hanae giggled, "Naruto-kun you don't have to worry about the academy right now, and I have more than enough time to make sure you're ready to return to the academy." Hanae consoled her son, who just sighed in relief as his mother continued to explain things, "If I'm satisfied with the progress you've made in your physical, emotional and mental development by the end of the eight-month period you will officially be promoted to the rank of genin…"Here Hanae's expression turned serious." As for the training itself, I must warn you that this training will be very hard; potentially life threatening even. So don't expect to be treated like children from here on out… Are there any questions?" Hanae asked.
Naruto's excitement returned with Hinata's comfort and his mother's words of reassurance, and he now had a fiery look of determination in his eyes and on his face to succeed. But strangely the blond boy remained quiet and neither the albino nor Hinata voiced any questions either. However they both had the same determined looks on their faces as Naruto did.
"Good… I like those looks. Anyways the last thing for today will be the team introductions and then we can adjourn for the day… I will go first." Hanae said with a smile,
"My name is Uzumaki Hanae, though you can call me sensei, Uzumaki-sensei or Hanae-sensei, whichever one you prefer... My likes are my family, Konoha, winter, the ocean and the occasional peace and quiet…As for what I hate. I hate unnecessary killing and cruelty to others, those that are ignorant to another person's suffering and those who pick on the weak just because they have the power to do so… I also hate rapists, Water Country, corrupt politicians and policies. My hobbies include spending time with my family, gardening, training and any kind of water or winter sports activities. My goal is to help you all become powerful shinobi and my dream is to see you all live long and full lives… You can now introduce yourself to your teammate's whitey. "Hanae finished as she looked at the albino; who didn't react to the jab about his hair color.
The albino nodded, "My name is Kaguya Kimimaro." The now named Kimimaro said, "I like my long dead clan and my new home in Konoha, as this village many Mist bloodline clans from certain dead st the hands of the hHdden Mist by offering us asylum; despite it costing them any possibility of improving relations with Water Country. I also like my countrymen who were also forced flee… There's not too much dislike, but what I hate is those who would betray their homeland without having been betray first… I also hate those who would prey on the weak and fan girls. My only hobby is training to better myself, and I don't really have a dream other than to pay back Konoha for their kindness by protecting this village just as vigorously as I would've done for my former place of residence. Had they not betrayed me and my kin of course." Kimimaro finished stoically
Hanae nodded at that, "Very nice Kimimaro-kun. Naruto-kun you can go next."
"Sure thing K… I mean Hanae-sensei." Naruto started sheepishly before regaining his momentum and continuing this time with a confident smile." Hi, my name's Uzumaki Naruto. I like my family, Hinata-chan, Hanabi- imouto, training; the color orange, pranking, ramen and learning new Jutsu… I hate anyone who would hurt my family, Hinata-chan, Hanabi-imouto or Konoha. I dislike the three-minute wait for ramen to cook and people who judge others before they get to know them." Naruto face took on a sad look as he paused in his speech; Hinata and Hanae adopted sad expression as well.
Meanwhile, Kimimaro had a solemn look on his face.
'I can understand how thst feels Blonde.' Kimimaro thought to himself.
"My hobbies include hanging with Hinata-chan and Hanabi-imouto, spending time with my family, gardening and training. My dream is to become Hokage and to show Konoha that I'm not what they think I am." Naruto finished with a smile.
"Very good Naruto-kun and finally Hinata tell us a bit about yourself." Hanae said with a smile. All the while thinking, 'I wonder if he has told Hinata-chan about the Kyubi yet.'
Hinata smiled as she began, "My name is Yuhi Hinata, and my likes are my mother, my little sister Hanabi, Naruto-kun and his family. I also like Genjutsu, training, pressing flowers and cinnamon rolls... I dislike those who fear someone for no reason, but the things I truly hate is when families don't act as a family, unnecessary violence and killing as well as rapists and perverts." Hinata frowned in distaste, "My hobbies, include spending time with my family, spend in time with Hanabi-chan and Naruto-kun, as well as pressing flowers and training. My dream used to be to bring peace to the two branches of my clan, but since me and my sister were forced to leave the clan I'm not sure what my dream is now." Hinata finished sadly, as she looked down.
This caused Naruto to come and hug her close, to which Hinata responded by hugging back. All the whike furiously blushing.
Don't worry Hinata-chan you'll find a new dream and it'll be just as great." Naruto whispered to her in a rare moment of being quiet for the blond boy and Hinata just nodded into his chest.
Hanae looked on sadly at the display, but smiled softly at how much her son cared for the blue haired girl. The Uzumaki woman then looked at the stoic visage of Kimimaro and sighed.
'it will take a lot of work to get this boy to open up, and I hope my son and Hinata-chan are up to the task.' Hanae thought to herself. But then she saw her son release Hinata and make his way over to his third teammate, ' Hmm I wonder how this will play out.'
Naruto smiles widely as he walked over towards the Albino after having comforted Hinata, "It's nice to meet you Kimimaro; I hope we'll become great teammates and friends soon." Naruto said as he extended his hand.
Kimimaro looked at the offered hand and back into the blond's eyes; before taking the offered hand and shaking it firmly.
"Likewise, I hope we'll become good teammates and trusted comrades as well Naruto-san." Kimimaro said in a deadpan tone and his face stoic.
Naruto just sighed in dramatically, but the blond haired boy's smile was still firmly in place.
'It's going to take a lot to get this guy to loosen up, but at least he's better than Sasuke was.' Naruto thought to himself.
Hinata smiled as well as she came over and took Kimimaro's other hand, "I also hope to be your friend and a reliable teammate to you Kimimaro-san." Hinata said kindly; which made even Kimimaro give a minuscule smile. In Naruto's case, he just smiled wider, if that were possible.
Hanae watched the scene with a smile, 'Maybe Kimimoro being closed off won't be as much of concern as I first thought. 'Hanae thought to herself.
