The Fifth Brother picked up the merchant by the Force. The merchant struggles to grasp the invisible hands that are squeezing his throat. "This is your last chance, scum. Where did you get the Prince's clothes?" Fifth Brother asked. The citizens of Dialo paid no attention to the Inquisitor and the merchant. To them it's another day ever since their beloved Prince went missing. The merchant opened his mouth to speak.
"A...Wookie sold them...to me two...two months ago…" He rasped.
"Now was that so hard?" Fifth Brother smirked. He carelessly threw down the merchant, destroying his stand in the process. The merchant's wife and daughter hugged each when the Inquisitor took a step closer to them. "Where did the Wookie head off to?" Fifth Brother asked.
The merchant took a deep breath before answering. "I saw him get on a small ship. He was heading Northeast off the planet." Fifth Brother gives him a nod before activating his lightsaber. "What are you doing?! I told you everything!" The merchant cries out. His wife covers their daughter's eyes to spare her the trauma.
"You should've recognized that the clothes you purchase belong to the Imperial Prince. Failure to report is punishable by death." Fifth Brother smirks. He was about to swing his lightsaber at the merchant, but a strong hand suddenly grips his wrist. The Inquisitor turns around to see Starkiller glaring at him.
"What do you think you're doing?" Galen demands.
The Fifth Brother tried to free his wrist, but Galen's grip was too strong. "Setting an example of failure to report any information about the missing Prince." He explains.
"Well I'm here and I say we're wasting time killing insignificant people instead of following the lead on Luke." Galen replied. "Now let us go Northeast and find the nearest planet." He releases his grip and purposely bumps into the Inquisitor. He can feel the Fifth Brother's jealousy and hatred of him and that puts a smile on his face. He has no idea his negative emotions are fueling my powers, Galen smirks. The young apprentice made his way inside his ship where PROXY and Juno were waiting for him.
"Young Master, I couldn't help but overhear what you told that Inquisitor. I'm sorry to say that I agreed with that darksider scum and all who fail to report any information about our missing Prince is punishable by death." PROXY spoke.
"I'm well aware of that, PROXY. I just didn't like how the Fifth Brother was acting cocky." Galen replied.
Unbeknownst to them, Juno smiles to herself knowing Galen isn't 100 percent evil like Emperor Vader. "Leave him alone, PROXY. Galen here is too busy worrying for his friend, Luke." Juno chimes in. Galen turns around to glare at her, but she wasn't fazed by it. She isn't an idiot. She's well aware how much Galen cherishes him like a brother. "This is a safe space, Galen. Vader doesn't have to know how attached you are to Luke." Juno smiles.
"But I'm not. It's my duty to recuse the Prince and return him to his father. To me this is just another mission. I can't fail my master." Galen denied.
"Starkiller is correct. Darksiders don't get attached to anyone other than their anger and hate." PROXY agrees. "We are nothing to him. Emperor Vader can feel that on my Young Master."
This makes Juno frown. Galen wanted to touch her shoulder in a comfortable manner, but she got up and went to her pilot seat. "If that's how Starkiller truly feels, then he should fly his own ship next time." She glares at them.
"You know he doesn't mean like that." Galen said.
"Just tell me where to go next. The sooner we get the Prince back to his possessive father, the sooner I won't have to see you again."
"...Northeast, first planet we come across."
Looks like Galen has to do a little adjustments on PROXY when they get back.
Luke giggles as he feels the wind rushing against his soft face. He had no idea his tiny body was capable of leaping across at a great height. Even though it's only been two months since his Jedi training, Luke's already accelerating his training. Right now he and Ahsoka are having a race to see who gets to the tallest cliff first. So far Luke is way ahead of her, but he has a feeling she's letting him win.
"Come on, Master! Don't be a slowpoke!" He teases.
"Who are you calling a slowpoke?" Ahsoka responded with a teasing smile. She begins to pick up the pace, Luke is still ahead of her. He front flips on a tree branch and is about to grab another one when he suddenly screams in fear and let's go off the branch "LUKE!" Ahsoka screams. Luke's body flies past her and is getting closer to the ground at an alarming rate. Without hesitation, Ahsoka dives forward towards Luke. Ahsoka uses the Force to give herself an extra push. "Gotcha!" She wraps her arms around his small body and lands on her feet. "Luke, are you alright? What happened up there?" She asked.
Luke begins to tremble rather violently, scaring Ahsoka. She gently tilted his head and what she saw made her gasp. Poor Luke has his baby blue eyes shaking in fear like crazy. "...coming...co…" Ahsoka couldn't understand what he was trying to say. She closed her eyes and tightened their bond through the force. She then sends waves of comfort and love to him. Luke stops shaking and looks up at Ahsoka.
"Luke, can you tell me what just happened?" She asked again. Luke clenched at her lekku with fear in his eyes.
"Inquisitors! Whole lot of them!" He screams.
"What?" She gasped. It was then she opened up her Force connection out to the Galaxy. That's when she senses a whole fleet of Darksiders coming their way. Including Vader's apprentice she fought two months ago. "Kriff!" Ahsoka curses. "We have to get to the Falcon now!" She practically throws Luke onto her back and Force speed to Han and the ship.
Han is whistling to himself as he watches Chewie tinkering with his crossbow. He nearly shrieked in fear when Ahsoka and Luke appeared outta nowhere next to him. "Sith's hell! Didn't you know you can teleport!" Han exclaimed.
"We need to get off this planet! Inquisitors are heading our way!" Ahsoka reveals.
"What!? Are you sure?!" Han asked.
"I can't go back…I can't…" Luke whimpers. This was more than enough to convince Han the threat is real. He barks at Chewie to get the Falcon ready. The four of them got inside the ship to their respective seats. Ahsoka gently sat Luke down and fastened his seatbelt. Han and Chewie sat on the Co-Pilot seats, ready to take off.
"Get ready for-" Han suddenly got caught off when five individual ships, twenty Star Destroyers, and one unique ship arrived through hyperspace. "Take off…" Han trails off.
"Fly us outta here!" Ahsoka orders.
"Are you crazy!?" Han screams. "We can't outmaneuver all of them!"
"If they're afraid of Vader, they won't risk the chance of harming Luke. They can't attack us, but we can attack them." Ahsoka explains.
The elder teen looks at Luke whose eyes are already red due to the tears. Hope my luck pulls us through, Han prays. "Chewie, let's give them hell! Ahsoka, man the guns!" He orders.
After pushing a few buttons and moving up the lever, the Millennium Falcon takes off with a speed. The other ships soon begin to follow and Ahsoka is proven right. None of the enemy's ships begin to fire. Unlucky for them, Ahsoka begins to fire at the Star Destroyers. She took down about three of them. The Falcon begins to spin around to avoid the Inquisitors' ship from bumping into them. Han makes his ship dive towards the one of the Stardestroyer, which responds by activating the tracker beam. The Falcon swiveled around and made one Inquisitor ship crash onto the Star Destroyer.
This small victory didn't last long since the Inquisitors began to fire back at them. "Han, now you got to man the guns!" Ahsoka commands. She gets up and heads for the portable oxygen mask. Before she goes inside the escape pods, Luke grabs her hand.
"What are you going to do?" Luke asked.
"To show you how awesome you're gonna be in the future, Skyguy Jr." She smirks. She winks at him and jumps inside the escape pod. Luke looks out the window and witnesses Ahsoka, already wearing the oxygen mask, climb out of the pod and jump onto an Inquisitor's ship. She activates her lightsabers and begins to attack the ship. Luke watches in awe as Ahsoka uses one saber to deflect the blast and the other one to cut out the windshield. She uses the Force to pull out a female Inquisitor and throw her out in space. Feeling inspired by his master, Luke unbuckles his belt and sits next to Chewie.
"Kid, what are you doing?!" Han called out.
"To show you what a great pilot I am!" Luke replied.
Ahsoka jumps to another ship and does the same thing to it. From the corner of her eye, the Falcon heads straight towards the Star Destroyers and opens fire while spinning around at the same time. Ahsoka can sense that Luke is the one who is doing that through the Force. Just like the good old days, she sadly reminisces.
Luke feels the pain of taking the lives of the Imperial officers, but knows he has no other choice. I'm sorry. Please forgive me, he prays. So far they've destroyed five Star Destroyers and all ten of the Inquisitors ships. The only one left is the mysterious ship and the rest of the Star Destroyers.
"Luke…" A familiar voice spoke out.
"Galen." Luke whispered to himself. He touches the side of his head and realized he never cut the bond he has with Galen.
"Luke, what is going on? I can feel you piloting that junk of a ship."
Tears began to prickle his eyes when he realized how much he missed Galen.
"Galen...I wasn't kidnapped. I was rescued by the Rebel Alliance."
"..."
"I know it was selfish of me to do it. But you know why I did it, don't you."
"Luke, I'm not an idiot. I know how possessive Vader can be. You didn't think I realized you had your mental shields up?"
"You knew about that?! Then why didn't you report it to my father?"
"Because I don't blame you. You deserve your privacy. However, if I had known what you were planning, I would've stopped you."
"But why!?
"Vader is the most powerful being in the universe. Plus the fact he's an unstable parent is what makes him more dangerous. You need to come back with me before he really loses it."
Luke bit his lip in frustration as he felt Galen telling the truth.
"I'm sorry, Galen. But I can't. Even when I was by his side, he was still dangerous. I need to do the one thing he couldn't do. I'm going to be a Jedi Knight and help bring balance to the Galaxy."
"Luke…"
Luke cuts the connection off, surprising Galen. "That kid is full of surprises." He mutters.
"Starkiller, something's coming our way!" Juno suddenly exclaims. Before Galen could process the hurt he felt on the fact Juno called him by his title instead of his actual name. He sees the orange Togruta he fought lounging towards them with her lightsabers activated.
"This is the rematch I was waiting for." Galen smirks.
