1st Week of School\
Haruhi awoke to Astoria shaking her shoulder.
"You need to get ready if you want to have time to eat breakfast before we go to our classes."
Haruhi gave a nod, "Thanks."
"Do you want me to wait for you?"
"That would be nice."
"I'll be down in the common room."
Haruhi was surprised when she realized that she had the room to herself. Her father had told her it was set up in a dormitory manner were several students of the same gender shared a room together. There had been both boys and girls shorted into Ravenclaw yesterday but the room only had her bed, a study desk, as well as a private bathroom.
Remembering that Ryoli had said that Dumbledore liked playing tricks maybe this was his way of hiding her gender. A quick shower, and a uniform later. Haruhi picked up her bag. When they had gone shopping Ryoli had made sure to get her one with the feather weight charm as well as a book case inside. Otherwise there would be no way for her to carry all her books. If her trunk had not had an expansion charm on it she wasn't sure all her books would have fit in it.
Astoria was waiting for her with a tall blonde girl. "Sorry did you wait long?"
Both turned towards her Astoria smiled while the other girl held out her hand. "Hi I'm Penelope Clearwater. I'm the 7th year prefect. You two are the last of the first years, so I'll be taking you down to the great hall."
It was a pleasant walk were Penelope showed them where some of their classes where as well as other important information one would need to have as a student at Hogwarts. She even gave both of them a map with the best routes to classes marked down as well as the staircases that moved and to be aware that you always made sure you got off on the right floor.
When they walked through the doors into the Great Hall Haruhi quickly scanned the room of the rests of the Hosts. Honey was fast asleep at the Hufflepuff table next to Mori. Tamaki was surrounded by girls she almost couldn't make him out. The twins where sitting with the other set of red head twins' heads drawn close together. Haruhi felt a chill climb her spin at the sight but she couldn't tell why. Lastly Kyoya was sitting with several other Slytherins. None of them had spotted her yet. Quietly she made her way to the Ravenclaw table. Once seated she allowed herself to relax.
"Why are you so on edge?"
Haruhi looked to see Astoria sitting across the table. There was no point in hiding the fact she supposed. "The exchange students from Japan use to go to the same school as me. I was in debt to them so I joined their club. My Dad doesn't like them and that is part of the reason he agreed to let me come to this school to get away from all the rich boys as he calls them. I thought when I graduated my last school I was finally free of them, but looks like they followed me."
Astoria's eyes went wide. "They followed you all the way to Hogwarts."
The rest of breakfast was spent telling stories of her time with the Host Club. Astoria was fun to talk to and she also shared about her family. She had a sister in Slytherin who was two years older than her.
They talked until their Head of House Professor Flitwick brought their schedules around. "Fujioka I was told you have been already been talked to about how your schedule will work?"
"Yes Professor."
"Good. At the end of your day I want you to stop by my office so we can look at how it worked out."
She gave a nod before he walked away.
"What did he mean?" Astoria asked.
"I'm taking a couple classes from other years to help get me caught up with my year."
Astoria gave a nod, "That sounds like it's going to be hard."
"It will be but I have always loved learning, and I'm quick to pick up on things so I should be okay." Is what she said and thought until she opened up her schedule. She had a class ever hour which she was used to but today she had two classes at 11 and three classes at 1. She almost paled when she saw that she had Astronomy Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Her only solace was on Friday she only had 6 classes unlike the rest of the week when there was 10 to 11 classes per day.
"Wow Haruhi how did you manage to pull this off?" Looking above her Haruhi found the twins looking over her shoulder.
Quickly she folded up her schedule and was trying to put it in her bag when it was plucked out of her fingers. This time it was Kyoya who had taken it. "I would also like to know how as well."
"Yeah! Haruhi-chan we have potions together on Friday!" Honey called from Mori's shoulders.
Tamaki was not far behind as he plucked her schedule from Kyoya's hands. "What we don't share any classes!?" He curled up in a ball and was once again growing mushrooms.
This time Haruhi grabbed her schedule and quickly tucked it away in her bag smacking Hikaru's hand as he tried to grab it back again. "We all have classes to get to. Come on Astoria we need to get going if we want to make it to History of Magic on time."
Astoria gave a quick nod. As they left the boys standing in a circle talking to each other.
It quickly became apparent to Haruhi that that History of Magic would be best spend reading the variety of History books she had bought to learn about the magic world.
After class she bid Astoria farewell and promised to have lunch with her and walk to Defense Against the Dark Arts with her after. It was a quick walk to make it to Potions. She was waiting outside the door when a loud clamor sounded down the hall. Turning she watched as both sets of red head twins came racing down the Hall. They skidded to a halt just before plowing her over.
"Haruhi you have this class with us! Perfect timing, we need you to tell us who won." Kaoru said while trying to catch his breath.
"Oi! You can't have someone who is bias towards you make that decision!" One of the red hair twins said.
"Haruhi would never do that!" Hikaru declared as he throw an arm over her shoulder. She quickly removed the arm and took several steps back.
Quickly checking her schedule, she realized she was going to have potions with both sets of twins apparently. Putting it back in her bag she looked up to find both sets of twins still arguing over who had arrived first. Both sets shut up as the door to the classroom was thrown open. Her father stood in the door glaring at the two sets of twins. Everyone quickly entered the class and took a seat.
Just like back in Ouran the twins quickly clamed a seat on either side of her. The other set of twins took the seats right behind us. Ryoli sent a glare there way before starting class, by putting a potion up on the board and declaring that if they couldn't do it they should go back to 1st year. He would not baby them like the previous professor had.
The class was… eventful. Haruhi was able to finish her potion in record time as it was one she had been making for years. The Hitachiin twins though had almost gotten her killed with theirs though and she had barely been able to save them. The second set of twins she learned where Ron's older brothers George and Fred. They also almost killed them all by trying to add extra ingredients in to see what would happen. Apparently, they were inventors. Kaoru told her. They were thinking of investing in the pair as they had many great ideas. Regardless Haruhi was just happy to finally leave the room.
Next was 2nd year Transfiguration which was less stressful. She sat by Jenny and a girl from Raven Claw called Luna. After class she excused herself to the bathroom where she pulled out her time turned and went back in time. Leaving the restroom she went to her Defense Against the Dark Arts class. She was pleasantly surprised when she saw Harry and his friends enter the room. She wanted to get to know her cousin while she was at Hogwarts. She sat herself behind him. The class was just an introduction of what they would cover that year and Haruhi carefully took notes. The only strange thing was the looks Professor Lupin kept casting her way.
Lunch was enjoyable and Astoria talked about what she had done during her free time. As lunch drew to a close Kyoya showed up and offered to walk her to potions. Astoria looked confused by this but Haruhi quickly declined the invitation stating that she was off to Defense Against the Dark Arts with Astoria. Kyoya got a thoughtful look on his face as he watched them walk away.
That hour was hectic as she also had to go to 2nd year herbology and then was off to 6th year potions. Kyoya was waiting for her at the door when she showed up just in time for Ryoli to open the door. She would have to remember next time to turn back time a little more. As she suspected Kyoya took the seat next to her and when she asked he explained that Tamaki didn't score high enough to be in this class. She wondered if he Father had deliberate set the score high enough that Tamaki couldn't be in his class.
The rest of the week followed a similar pattern. Using the time turner to make it to all of her classes. She was also suspecting that Hermione must also have one because sometimes she would run into her in multiple places in the castle at the same time. Especially in her 3rd year classes. After school hours where spent in the library only leaving for dinner and when the library closed. Friday had meet with her double potions with the 7th years and she once again found herself firmly planted between Mori and Honey. Wednesday in her Defense Against the Dark Arts (DADA for short) they had faced off a bogart. No surprise hers' had been thunder and lightning. It had surprised her that Harrys was the dementor from the train. Professor lupin had stepped in though. At first Haruhi had thought he was also afraid of thunder and lightning until behind the clouds what appeared to be a moon peaked out.
Astoria had been all excited about flying on her broom and was disappointed when Haruhi wasn't in that class. She promised to teach her on the weekends!
Thus found Harhui in the Library on a Friday night trying to hide from the host club as well as get all her homework done. After all she had 25 classes worth of homework to do.
