AN: I hope you guys enjoy this little parody song I tried out. I'm not a song writer, but I tried my best and I'm terrible at rhyming. Had to duplicate some of the lyrics and made changes to them. Despite how awful Sonic '06 was, the music's really good. For the most part.

Last time, Team RWBY were in a middle of a contest and made it to the battle rounds. However, Weiss and Blake were the first to face each other. Even though Weiss won, they put on one heck of a show. As the contest continues, it is now Ruby and Yang's turn to face each other.
Ruby pulls out her Pokeball with a rose petal seal and throws it, "Come on out, Aurum!"
Aurum comes out in a display of rose petals scattered about with his shiny particles touching the petals to give off a dazzling entrance.
Yang throws her Pokeball with a bubble seal, "Go, Frogstera!"
Frosgstera pops out as she gives a bashful display among the bubbles.
"Begin!" Vivian announces the start of the battle as the timer starts counting down.
"Frogstera, use bubble beam!"
Frogstera fires a beam of bubbles from her mouth and aim right at Aurum.
"Use sky attack!"
Aurum has an intensify light blue aura in the air as he dive bombs and spins at the bubble beam. Aurum's attack pop many bubbles yet becomes sparkly as Aurum flies through the air with many in awe.
"Look mama," says a boy in the crowd, "it looks like a comet!"
"Noctowl is using sky attack and used Folerog's bubble beam to make it look like a dazzling comet in the sky! Now that's a wonder."
Yang lost ten percent of her points from that.
"Now attack!" Ruby orders.
Aurum then charge at Frogstera.
"Now its closing in like a meteor!"
"Use sludge!"
Frogstera starts dancing around while shooting slug from her mouth. Spraying the ground and shooting splashes in the air that force Aurum to fall back. Ruby lost only seven percent of her points.
"Now use another bubble beam with sludge!"
Frogstera kept some of the sludge in her mouth before unleashing a bubble beam. This resulted in the bubbles turning purple rather than blue, and highly poisonous.
"Use steel wing!"
Aurum stops himself from glowing yet all that energy transferred to his wings, that are now shine like metal. He uses this to act as a shield while the energy coats the steel wings to give it a brilliant blue hue. Aurum then unleash a slash that deflect the bubbles all over yet turned from toxic purple to brilliant blue. The bubbles scatter in the air as Aurum's wings appear to get larger. This resulted in Yang losing another eleven percent of her points.
"Use sky attack!"
Aurum is surrounded by the blue aura again, but created an aura that is larger than him due to the energy from his wings. Then he charges right at Frogstera and WHAM! A critical hit which resulted in an explosion and Frogstera is knocked-out. She returns to her Pokeball because of that. Above, three red X's appear to signified Yang's loss, which was a shock to her.
"Ruby won by knockout!"
The crowd cheers for Ruby's victory, including some of the ladies that are against Yang. Some of Yang's fans started crying for her loss. Ruby returns Aurum back to his ball.
After that, they both rest up in the break room.
"Whew!" Ruby went, "That was hard."
Yang laughs, "Come on, Rubes, you made it look easy." She congratulates her younger sister, "But congrats on your victory. That whole energy aura thing Aurum did. That completely took me by surprise."
"Same here." Ruby was just as surprised at Yang was.
Weiss gives Ruby a bottle of milk, "Do you think that the whole aura thing was part of the effect we have or did you train Aurum for that?"
Ruby smiles and takes the bottle, "Truth is, I have no idea." and starts drinking.
"Where's Blake?" Yang notices that Blake isn't in the break room.
"In the powder room." Weiss replies.
"Ooohh." Yang understands.
Ruby is a bit confused, "She's powdering her face?"
Back on Remnant, Qrow and Taiyang just watched the match between Yang and Ruby on the television.
Taiyang jumped for joy, "Alright! Way to go Ruby!"
Qrow smiles and claps, "Now that's what I call a battle."
Over at the Belladonnas on the other hand.
"My poor baby." Kali is sadden by Blake's loss.
Ghira pats Kali, "There, there dear. There, there."
Let's not forget on what's happening at the White Fang base. Many were up in arms that Weiss won and are upset that many lost the bet. But it is a good day in Atlas when Jacques sees his daughter winning and won a huge amount of money.
Enough of that, let's get back in the Pokemon world. The Pokemon Contest is in full swing as Weiss and Ruby winning their battles with ease. Everything is going smoothly until they made it to the finals.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! Are you ready for the finals?"
The audience cheer for the final match between Weiss and Ruby.
"Then welcome our finalists; Weiss and Ruby!"
Weiss and Ruby enter from opposite sides of the arena with the crowd cheering. Weiss enters as elegantly as always. Ruby just walk down as cool and collective as she can be despite her nerves. Both of them have their Pokeballs out and are ready to give the crowd what they want. They both toss their balls in the air with their Pokemon coming out with Nicholas having cherry-blossom petals scattered about while Aurum has rose petals. Nicholas transform into Jolteon for a type advantage which cause the petals to become electrified and turn yellow. Both of these petals to put on a dazzling display intrigues the crowd before the fight begins. They, and the crowd, are in anticipation for the match to begin. It is all quiet in the stadium as Vivian raise her hand to signal the start. Weiss and Ruby have shown a great display of grace, power and style in all their matches so things are tense. So tense that you can cut it with a knife.
"BE-GIN!"
Weiss orders, "Nicholas, use thunder shock!"
Nicholas' body became envelope in yellow electricity and fires a bolt.
"Use heat wave, Aurum!" Ruby orders.
Aurum's wings glow a faint red and he stirs up an orange wind which it fires at the lighting bolt. The result is that the fiery wind carries up the lightning bolt.
"Use quick attack!" Weiss orders.
Nicholas charges in and goes inside the tornado. Yet while running around in it, his yellow spiky fur turns red and the white areas turn a bright yellow. The tornado subsides as Nicholas fur glistens with his new colors while giving off an impressive amount of heat along with orange electrical static.
"Now that's amazing! Jolteon went inside the tornado and somehow absorb the energy that change its color and giving off some intensive heat."
This resulted in Ruby losing ten percent of her points.
"Now use double-kick!"
Nicholas jumps into the air with his rear feet glowing in preparation for a double-kick. Yet while doing so, his rear feet started to catch fire and give off electrical sparks.
"Use zen headbutt!"
Autum produces an orb of blue energy from the top of his head that later encompass his head. Then charges in with the blue dome right at Nicholas while spinning. The resulting collision cause some of the energy from Jolteon's feet to be transferred to the zen headbutt on Aurum's head that turn the blue reflective dome purple. Nicholas falls down to the ground yet lands on his feet. But Aurum turns around and hit Nicholas with a super powered zen headbutt that resulted in an explosion of purple energy. Both Aurum and Nicholas are now locked heads as they growl at each other and Nicholas lost his new colors.
"Use quick attack!"
"Use sky attack!"
Nicholas moves fast as Aurum tries to catch up. They run around the arena a few times with both Ruby and Weiss losing points.
Weiss orders, "Use thunder fang!"
Nicholas stops and attacks Aurum with a set of teeth made of lightning. Aurum spins and avoids the electrical jaws and manages to hit Nicholas.
"Heat wave, let's go!"
In the break room, Yang and Blake are watching the match.
Yang asks, "Hey, Blake? How come Ruby isn't allowing Aurum to absorb Nicholas' lighting attacks?"
"Because of Nicholas' Jolteon ability; volt absorb. Volt absorb allows to use any electrical damage they receive to heal themselves. If Aurum does infuse his attacks with any electrical moves, it would make it harder for him to take Nicholas down. Not only that, Nicholas' Jolteon form is excellent against flying-types."
"So Weiss is taking advantage of the fact that Nicholas' change to an electric-type and if Ruby uses any of the electricity on Nicholas, it can heal him. She basically has Ruby in a corner."
"That's right."
Back at the battle, Ruby is in a bit of a pickle that Yang and Blake covered as she tries to figure out how to get out of it. Then she thought of something.
"Use heat wave! Up in the air!"
"Huh?" Weiss is confused by what Ruby is planning.
Aurum is up in the air and unleash a gust of hot, fiery air.
"Now use steel wing!"
Aurum's wings started to become metallic and started gathering the heat from his heat wave. The result is that the wings are now super heated and glow white hot. That move lowers Weiss points down to thirty percent.
"Now attack!"
Aurum charges in and hits Nicholas right in the chest that sends him flying. It was so fast that Weiss didn't react as Nicholas is hit against the wall. The result was that Nicholas fainted and returns to his Pokeball. A loud buzzer is heard to signify Weiss loss.
"The winner is; Ruby Rose and her Noctowl!"
Everyone in the audience stand and cheer for Ruby's victory.
Weiss walks up to Ruby and claps, "Congratulation, Ruby. You definitely earned this victory."
Mr. Contesta says, "Bravo, Ms. Rose! Despite the type disadvantages, you managed to pull off a victory by using two types that shouldn't work, but did."
Mr. Sukizo, "Remarkable."
As for Nurse Joy, "Using a fire-type attack to increase the power of a steel-type move is an impressive move indeed. Along with being able to overcome the type disadvantages and Jolteon's ability."
Not long after, Vivian presents a tray that has Ruby's prize. Ruby stands in front of Vivian as she presents her ribbon.
"For winning the Kanto City Pokemon Contest and overcoming the odds, you've earned this ribbon as proof of your victory. This will allow you one step closer to entering the Pokemon Contest."
Ruby picks the ribbon up. It is red in coloration while having a golden metal emblem in a shape of fire. (Obviously inspired by Red and the fire starter). She holds it up in the air and is happy to win a contest. Blake, Weiss and Yang clap for her achievement. Not just people in the Pokemon World, but also a few on Remnant that are watching. Qrow and Tai stand and graduate Ruby for her victory while Zwei howls in success.
After that, the team went back to the Pokemon Center for a bit of R&R as Yang does a few push-ups. Ruby is on her bed and polishing her new ribbon while smiling.
Weiss comes in with Blake as she talks, "Like I said, we might do better."
"But I don't think that we can go any further." Blake states.
Yang stops doing push-ups and look at the two, "What's up?"
"Weiss says that we might go even further with our battles in the contests." Blake answers.
"What's wrong with doing some improvements?" Weiss feels a bit offended. "I'm just saying that we could do better and do something more interesting to win the crowd."
Yang silently chuckle, "Says the Ice Queen that lost."
Weiss scoffs and cross her arms and just look away with her nose in the air. Ruby is way too busy with her ribbon to notice what is happening. They may have gone through the Contest, but next time, the Kanto City Gym. What sort of surprise will be there. Tune in next time.
