Thank you to everyone who has favorited, followed or reviewed this fic so far.

I've decided won't make it too long, just Methos doing some badass stuff and making things easier.

Also, this chapter is not for Lana or Clana fans, because I really don't like the character or the ship, so if you like those, look away.

Thank you to Stand with Ward and Queen and Bl4ckHunter for their help here.

Chapter 3- Revelations

Metropolis

Methos stood up on the rooftop, looking down upon the big city, it seemed like such a giant place to most people.

But Methos was not most people. He was a 5000 year old Immortal. He could just blink and this whole city would be nothing more than ancient history.

It was just who he was, when you lived as long as that, you tended not to form too many connections.

He then heard footsteps and turned to see Lionel standing there.

"So, how did they take it?" Methos asked.

"Lex gave no reaction, as expected of him", Lionel shrugged. "Clark was actually relieved, never thought that would ever happen."

"Well, at least you're back to the land of the living", Methos told Lionel, walking to him as they stood side-by-side, each facing the opposite direction now.

"There was also a little mess with my son and a government agent, whom I had to shoot", Lionel then told Methos.

"Things like that are always a mess", Methos shrugged.

"Tell me, Mr. Pierson, what did you find out?" Lionel finally asked. "And how is dear Marilyn?"

"Well, Marilyn is in an asylum, where she belongs, but I did find out quite a bit", Methos said as he and Lionel now turned to face each other. "Including who hired her, and then I found out a lot more about the person who did hire her too. It would be quite the surprise for Mr. Kent I'm sure, perhaps you too if you were not expecting it to be this specific person."

"Who is it?" Lionel asked.

"Lana Lang", Methos revealed, turning away again as he walked to the edge of the rooftop, looking down at everyone again. "Your son's ex-wife, your daughter-in-law, supposedly dead until her name was cleared very recently."

"So it was her", Lionel muttered, sighing. "Of course, she wants revenge from me as well as Lex for various reasons, and is unable to see that vengeance is only going to make her just as bad as we are, if not any worse."

"Everyone looks so tiny from up here", Methos said, looking at the people and cars below that looked like dots from here. "You and your son, you watch people like this a lot, don't you? To you, they are all just tiny."

"Where exactly are you going with this?" Lionel inquired.

"Lana Lang spent some time by your side, now she too likes watching people like this, tiny things to be played with and stepped upon", Methos told Lionel, turning back to look at him. "And once you get a taste of power, it is quite hard to let it all go, might I even say, not possible at all."

"You have experience in that regard?" Lionel inquired.

"I do", Methos confessed, pacing around now. "I have seen a lot of people rise and fall due to what they think power was, but like I said before- knowledge is power. Nothing more and nothing less. And I just gave you some knowledge."

"Yes, about Miss Lang", Lionel nodded. "And-"

"I have some more", Methos revealed with a smirk. "I secretly followed Miss Lang, she didn't even know I was there, and I found some thing you will be pretty interested in."

"What is it?" Lionel asked.

"This address", Methos handed Lionel a paper saying '618 3rd St, Metropolis'. "Miss Lang has opened a foundation, only, there is a research center behind the main office with a supercomputer and monitors around the room. The purpose- to spy on Lex Luthor."

Now even Lionel was surprised at how far Lana had fallen in her desire for revenge against him and his son if she was doing things like these just to make them pay.

"Good Lord", Lionel muttered, since recently he had started believing in his faith again.

"Tell Clark everything", Methos then urged Lionel.

Lionel seemed hesitant. "Clark is a good man, he was devastated when he lost Lana. He is happy with her-"

"How happy will he be when he finds out just what the woman he loved has become?" Methos asked and now Lionel was silent. "It is going to affect him badly when he does find out, no point in not telling him, he should know now, and cut the toxic influence from his life."

"Are you sure about this, Mr. Pierson?" Lionel inquired to him.

"Quite sure, Clark Kent needs to embrace his destiny, and Miss Lang stands in the way of that destiny, only by ridding that obstacle can we bring him closer to who he was always meant to be", Methos explained his reasoning to Lionel. "You want to guide and protect him, do you not?"

"I do, with everything I am", Lionel confessed, since after becoming Jor-El's emissary, he truly did care about Clark like his own son, a son he could actually be proud of.

"Well, this is the way, he must know the kind of person Lana is, and stop her from holding him back, so do this, Mr. Luthor, this is how you shall guide and protect him", Methos told Lionel in a tone that made it clear he meant each and every word. "The Traveller shall then come a little closer to being who Mr. Swann said he would be."

"You are quite the man, Mr. Pierson", Lionel commented, impressed and even intimidated by him, which no one else had ever done to him. No one.

"You can say that, Mr. Luthor", Methos said as Lionel held out his hand, and Methos shook it.

The two then dropped hands as Lionel turned around and walked off, with Methos staring up at the stars once more.

"Fallen from the stars you have, soon they shall look up to see you in the place of the stars."

Clark was in his barn, relieved that Kara had been rescued finally, as he put the crystal away, then heard footsteps and sighed, turning around to see Lionel.

"Clark", Lionel greeted as he walked to him.

"What's the matter?" Clark asked Lionel.

"There is something I need to tell you, please sit down", Lionel said and Clark, while unsure, followed and sat down, realizing it was pretty important.

"As you know, I was missing for sometime", Lionel said.

"Yeah", Clark nodded.

"Well, the truth is, I was captured by an insane woman", Lionel revealed.

"Oh!" Clark said. "I'm sorry to hear that, so, you escaped then?"

"I did, but she was working for someone, someone hired her to abduct and torture me", Lionel now said, getting Clark's interest.

"Who?"

"Lana."

Clark's face was stuck with an expression which could be described as a mix of shock, horror, anger and even disbelief.

"What?" Clark asked, the disbelief in his voice clear. "Lana? But why? Why would she…..that woman is lying, it can't be!"

"I'm afraid she is not Clark, I did some research, Lana has found something called Isis Foundation to help the meteor-infected, but it's a cover to spy on Lex", Lionel gave Clark the paper with the address. "Right here, there is a secret room behind the main office. I don't think she ever told you about any of this."

"No", Clark shook his head. "She didn't."

"Take a look", Lionel offered as Clark sped off to do just that.

He reached the building, the address of which Lionel had given him and managed to find a way into the secret room and sure enough, there was exactly what Lionel had described- cameras monitoring the whole Luthor mansion.

This couldn't be!

But Clark knew it was true, and what he had just seen, now he realized there were a lot of things pent up inside of him regarding Lana, and well, they were all coming to the surface.

Later, Kent Farm

Clark was sitting on the table as Lana returned, greeting him with a smile. "Hey Clark."

"Lana", Clark said, a coldness to his voice, something which Lana did catch.

"Anything the matter?" Lana asked, wondering why he had spoken her name like this, without any warmth.

"Yes, there is, a lot of it in fact", Clark confirmed as he stood up. "I know."

"Know what?" Lana was confused.

"What you did to Lionel", Clark snarled and Lana paled for a second before schooling herself, but that was all Clark needed to know the truth. "You did it, didn't you? And I also know about you spying on Lex."

"Clark I…..who told you this?" Lana asked.

"Lionel told me", Clark said, and that gave Lana an opportunity.

"Clark, Lionel is not Honest Abe, he has never been, how can you-"

"I saw your secret room myself, don't lie to me, Lana", Clark said and Lana realized she was not going to get out of this one no matter how hard she tried.

"Clark, look, Lex and Lionel, they were complete monsters to me, I was hurting when I was there in the mansion, they corrupted and ruined me completely, I want to make them pay for all they have done to me and everyone else", Lana confessed, and based on how she was talking, it was obvious she had bought herself into believing each and every word was true as well.

"You want to make them pay for what they did to other people?" Clark asked, wondering if that was really true, because it couldn't be.

"Yes!" Lana said. "That's what it is, Clark. I want them to pay for all the lives they have ruined, destroyed completely, including mine. I am trying to get justice for all of them with my actions. It's no different from what you do, Clark. Please, you have to believe in what I'm doing."

But in that moment, Clark knew that Lana never knew who he truly was, and in this moment, she had proven it.

No longer was she the sweet girl that he had fallen in love with. She had become someone else, something else, a completely different person.

And he did not like that person. Not one bit.

With that, Clark let out all the pent-up feelings within him in a few sentences.

"You're not acting like me, I never tortured anyone. You didn't do it for me, you did it for you, to get back at Lionel. I understand you're angry, and I don't blame you for that. But who does something like this to a person? You're not acting like me, you're acting like Lex."

The words hit Lana like a hammer to the face, as she realized no matter what she did or said, Clark would never trust her ever again.

"So, what now?" Lana asked, tears rolling down her cheeks. "Everything we've been through together, all of it, does it mean nothing? I mean nothing to you?"

"You meant everything to me once, Lana", Clark confessed to her, barely holding back his own tears. "I loved you. But the woman I loved, she is gone. The woman in front of me, I don't recognize her at all, and I don't like her."

Lana now burst into tears completely, knowing she had lost Clark forever due to her own actions and stupidity.

She went into the room, picking up some stuff and packing it all, then walked past Clark, wiping her face, and walked out the door.

"Goodbye Clark."

She slammed the door shut behind her, never to be seen in Smallville ever again.

"Goodbye Lana."

Night time

Clark was sitting outside his barn, then heard the screeching of tires and looked up to see Lionel walking to him, and the older Luthor sat down next to him.

"What happened, son?" Lionel inquired, and Clark didn't even protest at Lionel calling him 'son'.

"I called Lana out for all that she did", Clark confessed to Lionel honestly. "She tried to deny it, but I had seen it all, I just…..I just can't believe or trust her ever again now."

"I'm sorry you had to go through that", Lionel said with sympathy. "How do you feel?"

"Sad, but also, relieved", Clark said, and it sounded strange to his own ears as well. "Like, I've been sitting here for hours, and thinking. Lana, she has always brought out the worst in me, my behavior with her, it wasn't exactly 'nice guy' material."

"Like?"

"Well, I had a telescope pointed at her house once", Clark confessed, feeling like a creep for that, as that was quite obsessive of him.

"Yes, that is quite the stalkerish behavior, but at least you realize your mistakes now, as well as who Miss Lang truly is", Lionel told Clark with a nod.

"Yeah, perhaps I was held back so much because of her, I do have people who genuinely care about me though, like Chloe, Lois, my mom", Clark then looked at Lionel but didn't say a word, though Lionel knew what Clark was trying to say.

"I'm always here for you", Lionel assured, tapping his shoulder.

Later

Methos was on the rooftop once more, as Lionel arrived.

"So, what happened?" Methos asked the Luthor patriarch.

"You were right", Lionel said to the oldest Immortal. "Clark didn't take it well, now Miss Lang is no longer part of his life, and he does feel she held him back."

"Good."

Methos sounded cold and hopeful at the same time.

"What now?" Lionel asked.

"Now, Mr. Luthor", Methos turned around to face Lionel. "It is time for your son to face the consequences of his actions."

And finished at last, hope all enjoyed Lana's calling out. I liked her and Clana till Season 3 but after that it was ridiculously drawn out to an absurd degree, and Lana just became a horrible person, and Clana became toxic as hell too.

Anyway, now its Lex's turn, and well, Methos is a bigger beast than Lex, Lionel and Tess combined, so let's see how it goes.

Hope all enjoyed and see you all next time with another chapter.
