Was going to try Willow/Faith again. I can see them work post-BTVS Season 6, would've been much more bearable than Willow/Kennedy and it's sad that Kennedy got better mainly after Willow broke up with her but sucks that Tara and Cordelia were done so dirty because of Whedon so in this Willow and Kennedy broke up soon after the mass activation and Kennedy left the Scoobies to do the Slayer recruiting on her own like in comics, since I just don't want to deal with her, so at best Kennedy's going to make a minor appearance and I'll try to make her more tolerable like in comics. Also, Robin broke up with Faith later anyway, so he's not appearing here either.

This is not going to be a long story though, just a few chapters. Takes place post-BTVS series finale and post-After The Fall, with a few references to the follow-up comics but I'm ignoring the Twilight plot due to the Buffy/Angel mess there that I hated.

Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.

"Your shirt…"

"It is a human death by human means. You raised one killed by mystical forces, this is not the same. She is taken by natural order. It is done!"

"Where do you keep the black arts books?"

"Something terrible has happened, I know, but you don't have to—"

"I need power."

"Not with these books, I can't let you. Willow—"

"One tiny piece of metal destroys everything. It ripped her insides out. Took her light away. From me. Now the one person who should be here is gone. And a waste like you gets to live."

"You don't want to do this. You're not a person. Not like me. When you get caught, you'll lose them too. Your friends. You don't want to do this. I know you're in pain but—"

"Bored now."

"You're back on magics."

"No, honey. I am the magics."

"You're freaking me out."

"Don't be like that. I'm just a little wired. And I have some things to do, I thought if anyone would understand—"

"I miss Tara, too. But this? What you're doing here? This is not the way to go. You're only going to make things worse. But I promise, it's not too late—"

"You miss her?"

"Yes."

"Did you cry? Of course you did. I get that. I understand the crying. You cry because you're human. But you weren't always."

"Yes, I was."

"No, please. You're telling me you don't remember? You used to be some mystic ball of energy. Maybe that's why you're crying all the time, Dawnie. Because you don't belong here. Wanna go back? End the pain? You'll be happier. I'll be happier. We'll all be happier without listening to the constant whining."

"Willow, stop."

"'Mom! Buffy! Tara! Waah!' It's time you go back to being a little energy ball. No more tears, Dawnie."

"You're attacking the people who love you now?"

"If you lose someone you love, then the other people in your life who care about you become meaningless. I wonder what Tara would say about that."

"You can't stop this."

"Yeah. I get that. It's just, where else am I gonna go? You've been my best friend my whole life. World gonna end, where else would I wanna be?"

"Is this the master plan? You're gonna stop me by telling me you love me?"

"Well, I was gonna walk you off a cliff and hand you an anvil, but it seemed kinda cartoony."

"Still making jokes."

"I'm not joking… I know you're in pain. I can't imagine the pain you're in. And I know you're about to do something apocalyptically evil and stupid, And, hey, I still wanna hang. You're Willow."

"Don't call me that!"

"The first day of kindergarten, you cried because you broke the yellow crayon and you were too afraid to tell anyone. You've come pretty far. Ending the world, not a terrific notion… But the thing is… yeah, I love you. I love crayon-breaky Willow and I love scary-veiny Willow. So if I'm going out, it's here. If you wanna kill the world… well, then start with me. I've earned that."

"You think I won't?"

"It doesn't matter. I'll still love you."

"Shut up!"

"I love you. I… love you."

"Shut up!"

"I love you, Willow."

"Stop!"

"I love you!"

"Stop!"

"I love you…"

Willow gasped as she jerked up from the bed, panting out and cold sweat on her face and soaking into her pajamas before she became aware of her surroundings in the bedroom as she was catching her breath and it was in that moment, when someone opened the door and entered.

"Tara again?"

Willow turned to look at Faith, who was only in a tank top and panties. After the activation of Slayers and destruction of Sunnydale, Willow needed some break from everything and broke up with Kennedy soon afterwards, mainly because of how uncomfortable Willow was at first with Kennedy's relentless advances and they realized that they had nothing in common and after one of the times, when Kennedy and Buffy were almost at each other's throats, Kennedy decided to leave the Scooby Gang and take care of her own group of Slayers, since she didn't want to bust heads with Buffy anymore and it was obvious to her that Willow had never really gotten over Tara and that it was pointless to stay with her.

"That obvious?" Willow asked.

"You kidding? You were almost screaming her name in your sleep." Faith noted and Willow sighed in frustration. Faith wasn't as good with the comforting as Angel but she figured she should try. "Look, Red, if you need to talk—"

"I'm fine." Willow said quickly.

"You sure? I'm just saying, you don't have to play tough and keep it bottled up. I'm here if you need to get stuff off your chest." Faith said and Willow nodded. "C'mon, let's get some tea."

"I didn't know you drank tea." Willow noted.

"No. But Angel said it's good for relaxation and he taught me how to make it." Faith said and Willow smiled appreciatively as she got up and put on a night robe as she followed Faith into the kitchen.

So, what do you guys think? Is it good? Is it bad? Should I continue?
