Waking up the following morning, Willow moaned softly and smiled. For a few seconds she was thinking of Tara as she felt the body heat before remembering and realizing who was with her in bed as she turned to see Faith stir, Willow's movements already waking her up as she opened her eyes.

"Slept well?" Willow asked.

"Well, you weren't screaming her name last night, so there's that." Faith said.

"Thanks. For… you didn't have to be here for me." Willow said as both girls got up from the bed.

"And you didn't have to help me out and ask me to come with you back in L.A. either." Faith said. "We're not really alone, even if it seems that way."

Willow smiled appreciatively as Faith held her hand before both girls entered the bathroom, with Willow brushing her teeth and Faith going into the shower.

Buffy and Dawn had gone out of town with Xander to supervise other Slayers, while Faith stayed behind to look after Willow as they walked into a junkyard as they looked around.

"Why did you bring me here?" Willow asked.

"Sometimes, when I'm really down and the nightclubs don't really hit the spot… I come here." Faith said.

"To… think?" Willow asked, when she noticed the dents in some wreckages of cars before it hit her.

"No, to blow off some steam." Faith said as she picked a baseball bat.

"What?" Willow asked, confused.

"When I need to think. When I'm pissed. When I need to process. When I… need to blow off some steam." Faith said before she swung the baseball bat and smashed the windshield of a nearby car. "And this is what I do when I think about Wilkins." She swung the bat, cracking the windshield again. "Kakistos." She swung again. "Wesley." She pulled before swinging again. "Wolfram and Hart." Another swing. "Buffy." One more swing. "Andrew." Next swing. "The First Evil." She then pulled and was about to make the final swing. "Robin." She bashed the windshield into the car, looking relieved now as Willow noticed Faith enjoying herself and clearly it was helping before Faith turned to Willow. "Your turn."

"What?" Willow asked, confused.

"Come on, don't tell me you don't wanna take the anger out on something." Faith said, handing Willow the baseball bat. Willow hesitantly grabbed the baseball bat before Faith gestured to another wrecked car, encouraging her as Faith helped Willow pull the bat for a swing. "Now imagine Warren's face."

That seemed to do the trick. Willow's blood boiled as she imagined Warren's face on the window. As much as she was disturbed now by her killing someone in such a brutal fashion, Warren deserved to die for killing Tara, among other things. Willow prepared herself and swung the bat, cracking the window as she imagined Warren's face on it.

"Who else pisses you off?" Faith asked.

Willow imagined Kennedy's relentless advances that were making Willow uncomfortable before she shattered the window.

"That's it. Again!" Faith encouraged.

Next, Willow imagined Angelus killing her fishes, then Faith trying to kill her, even if they had made amends, Cordelia bullying her back in high school and then she imagined Giles's face for calling her a rank amateur and deep down she blamed him for losing herself in the magic so much as Willow grunted and screamed with each swing before the final swing with Tara's death made her scream at the top of her lungs as she made strong dents into the car and Willow had to admit, she must have had more strength in her than she had thought.

"Feeling any better?" Faith said as Willow panted out.

"I admit… this was fun." Willow said.

"Wanna hit the club? There's a great band playing there this afternoon." Faith said.

"Sure." Willow said, seeming to forget about her sorrows for now as she followed Faith.

Later, the girls exited the club as they laughed, while walking down the grassy outskirts of the town.

"I admit Oz and Dingoes Ate My Baby are fun but come on, don't tell me you didn't like that." Faith said.

"The band was good, sure." Willow said.

"You ever went into Bronze with Tara?" Faith asked as they walked down the street.

"Sure." Willow nodded.

"And you ever danced to…"

"…party music? Well, it wasn't really our thing but sure, we had fun." Willow admitted.

They made their way back into the house as they stopped at the front porch, while Faith notice Willow smile.

"Haven't really felt like that in a while." Willow said.

"Like what?" Faith asked.

"Just me and someone else, nothing to worry about, having a good time." Willow said as Faith noticed the look in Willow's eyes.

"Haven't felt like that since Tara, right?" Faith asked and Willow nodded.

"Sometimes it's easy to forget what you've lost and just as easy to remember and the pain returns and it feels like it had happened…"

"…just yesterday? I know exactly how that feels." Faith said as they sat down and looked up at the stars.

"Tara liked looking at the stars." Willow said. "They remind us that there's so much beauty out there, which we almost never see."

"Because we're so focused onto what's in front of us." Faith said and Willow nodded.

"But just like everything else… they start to die. Nothing beautiful lasts forever." Willow said, breathing out.

"Maybe the fact that they fade away is the point. It makes you cherish the beauty more, as long as it lasts. I mean, you enjoyed every moment you got to spend with Tara, right?" Faith pointed out.

"Yeah. Keep her alive in my memories and my heart." Willow said, remembering Faith's advice.

"But don't forget about the people that are still with you. Don't forget the people you've lost but don't lose sight of what you still have either." Faith said as Willow looked at her with raised eyebrows, not expecting Faith of all people to give out sage advices. "Sounds like something Angel would say."

Willow smiled appreciatively as the girls stared at each other for a minute, looking deep into each other's eyes, feeling something flicker in them. Neither one of them was sure who made the first move but next thing they knew, they were kissing and holding each other by their heads and making their way into the house, while Faith closed the door and took off Willow's sweater and began unbuttoning her shirt, while Willow took off Faith's jacket and stripped away her top, their clothes scattering on the floor, while they laid down on the couch and began making out.
