Chapter 2

Disclaimer: Since you all wanted more, you get more! Aren't I generous? Also, Henry never left after getting out of Prison 'cause fuck that noise, yo.

Later That Day

"Before you go and take one more step inside that house, I think we need to talk, Bear." Joe told his adopted son as they reached the house.

"Something the matter?" Henry Allen asked in concern from his spot on the porch.

Where since moving in, he'd taken to sitting on the porch quite often, just enjoying his freedom and the noises of the neighborhood. It'd been decided that having him and Barry stay there at the West household made sense until Henry could fully get back on his feet and since Iris is living with Eddie and still making wedding preparations, the room issue was non-existent. Barry groaned as he knew the two weren't about to leave this alone. "Its, its nothing, I swear."

"Bear, you were quiet on the way home to the point you didn't put on any Lady Gaga." Pointed out Joe.

Drawing in a confused glance from Henry in the process. "Lady who?"

As you can see, the man was still learning about a lot of things. Another groan escaped Barry, but whether or not it had to do with the fact his dad didn't know who Lady Gaga is or something else was the question. "I'll show you later, dad."

"Sounds good to me, but come on, Slugger, what's going on?"

Sighing as he wasn't going to escape this, Barry decided to talk. "I don't know if you remember this, but after my High School Graduation, Joe sent me to Boston as a Graduation Present so I could visit the Museum Of Science there. Which I had a great time at." Began the Speedster.

Causing the two men to look at one another and Henry would be the first to speak. "Yeah, I actually do remember that."

"And this is what's causing you to be all unusually quiet?" Asked Joe in confusion.

"Well… Y'see, the thing is… I actually met someone while I was there." Barry told them with a blush on his cheeks as this had been a detail he'd left out of his time there in Boston for years.

"Oh ho! Go Slugger!"

"And you never said anything!?" Joe asked him in shock.

Though he couldn't help but feel proud of his adopted son! "It… It was just something I wanted to keep to myself, you know? Iris would've grilled me about it nonstop had I said anything and I didn't want that!"

Joe couldn't help but chuckle as Iris definitely WOULD have done that as Henry looked somewhat amused over his son's concerns where Iris is concerned. "So what's the big deal then, Slugger? Is she in town or something?"

"Yes, actually she is! And she's working at the CCPD as a CSI!" Near whined the Speedster and causing Joe to burst out in laughter as Henry looked stunned by that bit of news.

"Well, Life does like to work in mysterious ways." Mused the former inmate.

"DAD!"

Joe laughed harder and Barry couldn't help but groan as the day had been awkward for him where Patty was concerned. It'd taken that arrogant ass by the name of Julian Albert to show Patty what she needed to know since Barry was having trouble coming to grips with Patty's being there. Seeing that Joe wasn't about to stop laughing anytime soon, Barry walked on inside the house with a huff. "I can't wait to meet this girl." Managed to get out Joe.

"Especially considering how strongly Barry's reacting to the whole thing." Added Henry.

Joe nodded in agreement as he laughed while going inside to wash up and maybe grill Barry about this girl some more, leaving Henry on his own on the porch for the time being. Who couldn't help but ponder one thing since it was still more or less at the fore front of his mind. "Who and why in the world would anyone name themselves 'Lady Gaga'?"

Author's Notes: Well, that was fun! As you can see, I'm also ignoring Eddie and as well as Ronnie's deaths. And I'm also just realizing/remembering that Julian didn't show up til season 3. Ah well! Nothing wrong with bringing in a character a little early! And note that I have no problem with Lady Gaga, I just thought it'd be funny for Henry not to really be familiar with her and to have that kind of reaction.
