Bianka smiled as she wrote in her journal, her newly gifted journal at that. It was a present from her brother that remembered her actual birthday she had no memory of. It was a private birthday party at home with only Eric and Rita there and for once, she did not hold back on the cake. While she usually followed a strict diet, the effort Eric put in with Rita's assistance to celebrate her actual birthday convinced her to enjoy herself as an actual girl for once.
Despite her lack of memory of the past, Bianka enjoyed the cake's flavor more than any other she had in the past. Then there was a piano in the living room, not too big but was elegant and the seat was enough for two people. At first, she was confused why it was there but then Eric pulled her along as sat beside him as he placed his only hand on a few keys and looked at her expectantly.
She then realized he wanted her to play with him as he started a few notes on the piano, the tune sounding familiar despite hearing it the first time and her fingers moved. It was a wonderful piece that was called Clair de Lune, and it struck a piece of memory in her for the first time in her life. She recalled Eric teaching her on a toy piano, both smiling as they tried to play a piece of a song, they heard on a classic radio channel and then her brother declaring to become a musician when he got older. For the first time for her since Eric returned did, she cried. She was smiling and crying at the same time as this lost memory of her beloved older brother, her only family return to her as they played the piano until sunset and Rita recording this moment on camera with a fond smile.

The first time Bianka was in awe of her brother was when he was forced to tag along on an operation with the Immortal Blades. Both her and Rita were called on duty for an Emperor Class Honkai Beast, unable to leave Eric home alone since he couldn't take care of himself at the moment decided to bring him along.
All he did was sit in the airship as the entire squad skydived towards a ruined town caused by the Honkai. The minute they landed, they were swarmed with zombies and lesser ranked Honkai beasts. For Durandal, it was nothing as most feel to her fists. She didn't even need her lance against the small fry until the target personally stepped in.
A humanoid Honkai beast that reminded the Immortal Blade all too well of Nikolai, Praetorian of the Void. The trauma the visage instilled had caused several of the weaker willed Valkyries to being cut down by zombies and beasts. What was worse was when it countered both Rita and Durandal's weapons, for it fought like Nikolai did when he was alive.
Otto, who was watching from his screens frowned and cupped his chin in thought as a bad feeling began to grow in his gut. "Could it be…the Honkai created copies of him in case he ever failed?" he muttered as he looked at the remnant of Nikolai held in a vast of liquid preservatives with a frown.
The successor had broken both lance and scythe like they were toys and Durandal began to pop her knuckles to prepare hand to hand combat with the creature, only to look up at the sky as she heard something falling. The humanoid Honkai did as well only to be crushed by Eric's drop kick and dust kicked up. Everyone, even the zombies and Honkai just looked at the crash site with utter bafflement as Eric leapt out of the dust cloud with Nikolai's successor snarling at him.
It was there Durandal's brother became a rising legend amongst the Immortal Blades. He fought the Remnant of Nikolai with only one arm, matching blow to blow and even delivering a few counterattacks of his own before ripping the very core of the creature out of its chest and crushing it, causing it to crumble to dust.
"…Sir Eric is more brutal than you Lady Durandal." Rita commented as said woman could only look in awe of her brother and his back. He stood there tall and strong and with only looking over his shoulder once did she recall the promise written in her old journal. He would protect his sister from anything that dared hurt her, a promise that despite his amnesia had always kept even when Nikolai had controlled him.
It was decided by Otto that very day to decide and enroll him in St. Freya Academy as one of the few rare males that were adaptable to Honkai energy. It was there that a fateful reunion between a Queen and her loyal Knight would unravel the secrets of the Honkai.
