"Alright class, settle down." Spoke up Himeko as the students began taking their seats. "This is sudden, but we have a new student joining with us today. It's rare to have a male here so please for the love of all our sanity keep your hormones to a minimum. The last thing I want is to face his sister's displeasure with becoming an aunt too soon." Himeko warned them as all the girls sweatdropped at their teacher's choice of words. "Come on it." She said as the door opened, and a figure walked in.

Blond hair, blue eyes, a strong build, he looked handsome despite his lack of expression as two certain girls in the class widen their eyes in shock and recognition. The lack of an arm helped confirm whom this person was as Himeko cleared her throat. "His name is Eric Ataegina, Durandal's long-lost older brother that was recently found. He's suffered a form of amnesia and has been enrolled here due to his ability to handle Honkai energy. He has speech impairment so conversations with him are a no." she introduced the young man who gave everyone a polite bow and a small smile as the girls were already drawn in by the new enigma as their fantasies started running wild.

For Kiana and Mei, concern for the one that helped them in Nagazora as he was facing his own difficulties here. But especially for Kiana, a deep-seated regret and sorrow washed over her, and she did not know why. All she knew was that she needed to be by his side and make sure he was alright.

Day 1

Kiana and Mei sat on one of the benches with the bemused Eric, ignoring the rather jealous glares of other girls wondering how they have Durandal's brother's attention like that as they began to gossip. "I'm Kiana! This is Mei-senpai!" the white-haired girl introduced themselves as Eric nodded his head.

"Kiana." He said looking at said girl who nodded her head.

"Mei." He finished, looking at the Japanese woman who smiled and gave a polite head bow in greetings.

"Here, try this! I made it myself!" Kiana told him, handing him a sandwich with several food components not meant for sandwiches as Mei looked on in horror as Eric took a slice and ate it. He paused, then his eyes sparkled as he happily gorged on it without complaint.

"How can he eat that without passing out?" Mei wondered in shocked awe as Kiana's cooking was notorious for being…dangerous so to speak.

Day 4

Eric tried his best at writing his notes, mentally grumbling how awful his scribbles are since he was right-handed…and currently lacked the arm with it. "Here, you can use mine Eric-kun." Mei said, handing him a copy of her notes as Kiana mentally fumed as she looked at her own notes filled partially with doodles and daydreams. That's it, she's going to plan a study session with Eric.

Day 12

"How was school brother?" Bianka asked, noticing the smile on her brother's face explained it all. It seemed she didn't have to worry or send Rita to help supervise him after all. That was until she noticed the 'food' he was eating, and alarm bells were ringing in her head that it was not a safe thing to eat as he did just that without a beat.

Change of plans, have Rita make him a packed lunch so she doesn't have to worry about his eating habits at school. Especially with whomever gave him that abomination of…whatever it was. They must be some sort of agent of Anti-Entropy trying to poison her brother.

It did not register in her head that perhaps Eric has no tastebuds and had a stomach of iron.

Day 14

Rita observed from the shadows of Eric's habits in the academy. Durandal requested it after that 'sandwich incident' and was making careful notes of those Eric interacts with daily. Himeko was safe, for she was only talking to him involving his grades since he's having a hard time writing with his left hand. She seems to be complimenting him for working hard on improving his writing and is helping to give him extra time to turn in his work due to his disability. Perhaps some good wine as a thank you for considering his situation. Then came Lady Theresa, they've had few interactions, but she seems to be double checking on him from time to time to see if he's doing alright with school.

But then when it came to two girls, did she notice the source of Lady Durandal's troubles. The white-haired girl named Kiana specifically. She had two lunchboxes, one for herself, and one for Sir Eric as she felt her own stomach twist the minute, he pulled out a…what was it?

The girl Kiana said it was a chocolate cheese steak but to the maid, it looked like something out of Rita's nightmares as she watched Sir Eric eat it like it was nothing with a big smile on his face. Did the Honkai alter his body to the point he could eat poison like its nothing? She must report this to Lady Durandal and Lord Otto of this discovery.

Day 41

Eric stretched his limbs, his partner Bronya calmly examining the field before making gestures and signs to Eric who nodded his head in silent understanding. Leave it to Bronya to find a way to communicate with one with speech impairment as the two began their operation.

Theresa observed their teamwork from the monitors and was impressed by their silent understanding of each other while wishing she knew what they were saying as she refused to blink. Eric scored high in the simulations thrown at his way despite having one arm, rivaling Siegfried's own condition. While she respected the young man here for bringing results, she felt a sense of hostility and dread whenever he and Kiana interact with each other.

It was as if she had forgotten something very important about him at the tip of her tongue, but her niece seems genuinely happy with him around and is putting effort in, if only when she's helping Eric with his schoolwork. She wonders what is drawing Kiana to this young man, because she's attracted to Raiden Mei for sure, but this Eric boy causes a different reaction in Kiana. Almost like it was guilt for something long ago.

Impossible, there was no way for them to even met in the first place, but this nagging feeling did not leave her. Sometimes on instinct she wanted to use Judah's Oath to restrain him and skewer his heart. She has no idea why, but Eric was dangerous in a way she can't understand. She had a faint recollection of seeing him somewhere else though, but she couldn't recall where, almost as if it was hidden in a half-remembered dream of ice and flame.

Day 47

"Wow! You're doing better Eric!" Kiana smiled as Eric whose scores were now in the 70s compared to when he first started.

"That is good, isn't it Kiana-chan? It was thanks to all three of us working together to help him." Mei told her underclassman who grinned while Bronya nodded her head in agreement.

"Da. Even Kiana Idiotka showed signs of improvements working with Comrade Eric." Bronya commented as Kiana and her got into one of their trademark arguments while Eric smiled at this warmth growing inside him.

These three girls had been there for him ever since he came here, and he appreciated how much they cared for him and put effort in helping him fit in here. There was some sort of hidden connection they all shared, and he didn't know or care for that. Here, he was happy in this school with those he called friends.

"Oho…" Otto mused from his holographic screens with interest. The DNA strands in Eric's blood had proven a hidden boon after all, a strand that absorbs Honkai energy and alters one's body into that of Honkai beasts. There was some sort of hidden mechanism to awaken this power, a successor to the Kaslana power. New test subjects were required, and if possible, create a new Herrscher under his control.
