Unto thine stowy a week after last chapter
A familiar voice popped into Hyun Head
"Arthur. Is there anything you still fear?"
"….i know…. I am scared too. But you still stick for up for me… right?..."
"Do you ever think…. Of our fight is just hopeless?"
"I…I….." muttered Hyun Woo in his sleep
"A lot can happen when you let go"
Hyun Woo sees a couple Deathtroopers without their helmets. They were seemingly staring at a painting while their heads ominously and violently twitching. Then one turns his head to reveal that it's Kane.. with ominously red eyes
"But you know…. It's hard to deal with…"
Hyun Wood remembers he and Kane charging straight into a firefight as he specifically remembers narrowly avoiding flame grenades. Kane disappeared from his sight as he frantically searched for him. Before everything flashes forward to a very hurt Kane desperately crawling away from something attempting to grab him
"KANE!" yelled Hyun Woo ripping awake and looking around. He looked around to see he's still in the base. He realized it's a dream. He looks at the time before rubbing his face in the blanket
This made him wonder where his friend is at this point as he got up and looked in the mirror he then remembered what he was supposed to be doing as he grabs his glasses as he stares at them for a moment
"….do I even need these at this point?"
Somewhere in South Korea
is flying through the sky on her mech patrolling the sky looking for any enemy signs
"Hey how's the optimizations going?"
"It's going fine Dae-Hyun. You can send the training missiles" said as she then sees 3 missiles started heading her way. She dishes all three and pursued them. She then aimed her machine guns and fired upon them making all three explode
"Hey Brigitte is here *Moves from mic*
"What's up Hana!" said Brigitte taking over the mic
"Hey Briggy! How was Sweden?"
"You wouldn't believe it. I was lucky enough to follow Reinhardt even more and we stopped some robot gone awry"
"That's amazing!"
"I know! And 76 and Hanzo are here as well. Though they are busy planning"
"Tch. Typical of them" as they both giggled as Dva then flew through the sky testing out all of her air skills before flying back to the base
Once Dva lands she parks her mech where Dae-Hyun and Brigitte are waiting
"Have fun?" said Brigitte as Dae-Hyun goes to look at the mech before joining them as Dva jumps out, stretches and a Ramen cup before nodding
"When as using that thing ever not been fun?" said Dva as they both giggled "You should try one"
"Nah Hana. My weapons are right here" said Brigitte holding out her mace and shield "It sounds fun but I'll stick to these"
"Tch. I know you really like that way" said Dva
"Of course I do. It's the best way of fighting" said Brigitte as they both giggled to himselves
"I wonder if I'm truly trying to care right now" thought Dae-Hyun
To Hyun Woo
Hyun Woo throws a man into the wall before throwing a knife at another man's head killing him. He looks at a bruised and beaten man on the ground trying to crawl away. Hyun Woo walks over to him and turns him over
"(Send a message to your higher ups that we still aren't happy. Nor are we done") said Hyun Woo "(We'll be back for more business if you're done f***king with us)"
"urgh…. You-URK!" said the beaten man as Hyun Woo kicks him. He then turns and leaves to reach the restroom. Hyun Woo washes his bloody hands for a few moments before drying them off. Before calling Xiao
"(It's done. They got the message)"
"(Very good)"
Hyun Woo hangs up as he gets on a motorcycle and starts riding it in the night. He looks at his watch as he continues his eyes on the road making sure not to crash into any pedestrians. He looks around to then see a garage where he parks it
Hyun Woo gets off and tosses the keys at man who perfectly catches it
"Thank you" said Hyun Woo
"No problem Shen. I'm surprised you actually succeeded" said the man looking at his somewhat bruised form
"Yeah? I guess I fail a lot then" said Hyun Woo as they both chuckled. The man offered him a cigarette as Hyun Woo shook his head "I don't smoke"
"Why not?" Said the man
"Its just not my thing" said Hyun Woo as he picks up a soda and starts drinking
"Suit yourself…. You ever going to change out of that jacket?" said the man as Hyun Woo takes it off to reveal a black shirt
"Happy?" said Hyun Woo
"Tch. Whatever" said the man as Hyun Woo ties his jacket around his waist and leaves
"I'll see you later" said Hyun Woo as a van drives up to him and opens up for him to get in
"(Talon wants to see you)" said the driver
To Talon
Hyun Woo arrives in the base as he notices Sombra seemingly is waiting for him
"Hola Hyunny!" she said waving to him "I hope everything went well" as she then playfully poked his nose "Boop" catching him slightly off guard as they go in to see everyone talking amongst each other. Whilst Widowmaker is trying to keep herself from sleeping
Doomfisst snaps his fingers waking her up
Everyone sat at a table as Hyun Woo walked in with Sombra then join in
"Welcome you two. Please have a seat" said Doomfist as they both proceeded to while Sombra grabs a donut
"So whats the plan this time?" said Hyun Woo
"You are going to South Korea. Supposedly your home" said Doomfist as Hyun Woo decided to roll with it
"Alright. Anyone else coming?" Said Hyun Woo
"…no one but me" said Reaper making Hyun Woo frow. as he looks to Doomfist
"What!?" said Sombra
"You see dear friend. We will cause major panic. We don't want that. But when we think its safe. We will try to join you" said Doomfist
"Why not me!?" said Sombra
"Because. Things can be linked to you. Plus. You still have some stealth missions here first" said Doomfist
"Aww..."
"I think I know some people" said Hyun Woo as Reaper face palms knowing who he will recommend
"You are thinking of weakness" said Reaper
"Are you saying that Ashe's gang is any better?" said Doomfist making Reaper grumble while Sombra gets closer to Hyun Woo
"Take me with you" Sombra whispered
"Sombra"
"lo siento" Sombra said apologetically with her head dipping down "Aw…" Hyun Woo gives her a pat on her shoulder
"I'm sure you'll be able to join me sooner or later" said Hyun Woo
To Genji
Images of Hyun Woo flash in his mind as he hits a punching bag. Every flash drive him to punch harder and harder. Until he slashed the chain that held the bag up and kicked it into the wall
Every gang member he was able to find wasn't really helpful to learning about the new talon member. Nothing. Not even a name. Genji felt a bit more frustrated
"Sounds like yer having a rough time with that handbag" said McCree smoking a cigar coming to check on Genji as he then punches another bag very hard "Your stressing yourself too much"
"…" said Genji looking at McCree as McCree noticed Genji has packed a backpack as he picks it uup
"Heading back to Japan?" Said McCree as Genji shook his head "No. I'm going to America for some Overwatch business"
"Ya sure partner?" said McCree as Genji nodded "Well then.. Hope to see you soon" as Genji simply walked past him
To Hyun Woo days later
Hyun Woo was on a plane to South Korea with a couple Dragoon gang members about to land. After hours and hours of sitting. Hyun Woo was finally in Korea
*Ding*
"(Thank you all for taking S.K.I Airlines. We thank you for your patronage and hope you have an amazing day)"
Once the announcer speaker stopped and the button beeped. Hyun Woo and everyone began grabbing their things and leaving the airport. Him among they walk out of the plane into the airport to see it's pretty busy
Hyun Woo looked around to see all writing was in his mother language. This was a strange feeling to him.. it's like his home the Seoli region of the Empire part of the galaxy… only this feels more populated
He'd compare this to the Moon regions as well as he and the Dragoon members Ling and Li go through the airport. They look around to see some restaurants. Hyun Woo was extremely tempted to go to one. But he is pretty much broke in Korean cash
All he had was Chinese currency as he sighed to himself as he felt Li's arm go on his shoulder
"Don't sorry Hy-I mean.. Shen" said Li as Hyun Woo rolled his eyes "We'll get something to eat sooner when we find that Korean gang you had Talon hook us up with" as be then hands him a phone "I got us all these modified phones "Even though I can tell you use an earpiece Shen. Having a phone can come in handy
"…" said Hyun Woo examining his new phone as they then go outside and waited for a bus. Hyun Woo wasn't sure. But this South Korea… seemed like a place he should explore more. He could read all the writing more perfectly
It felt very odd for him as to which he was sure there less than 1.3 million others like him and shrinking. Yet here he was in. In a city that seemed like the biggest gathering of Seoli people he has ever seen. Only much bigger
"We'll split up now. And regroup later" said Ling as the three of them split leaving Hyun Woo in a city alien yet familiar to him
He walks through the busy place taking in all the sights. He looks around to see many poster advertising many things they certainly didn't have at the Empire
"I wonder what Kane would think of this" thought Hyun Woo before he felt a call from Sombra
"Hola Hyunny! Did my package happen to arrive at the address?"
"Uuh…" said Hyun Woo as he had compelled forgot he helped her buy a few this "I check it soon" he said nervously
"Hyunny I hope you keep it safe until I arrive for it. Alright ill call you again soon"
She hangs up making Hyun Woo fell g slightly awkward. But he then went back to sight seeing. He looked at all the stores and other stuff until he saw a gym. Since Aiko won't be around he might as well kill some time
He entered the gym to see of course a normal day. But little did he know a woman was eyeing him from the moment he entered
Hyun Woo decided to go on a treadmill until he heard the sound of sparring
"Oof!" said a man as another defeats him in the ring. He chuckled as he could remember fighting Kane a few time
"If only if we could spare there" thought Hyun Woo as he continued on the treadmill until the woman approached him
"Hey" said a foreign looking girl(Brigitte) "(You wanna spar?)" In incredibly broken Korean
"I take it you're a foreigner?" said Hyun Woo with a slight grin surprising her as he put down his weights as she was surprised this cute guy could speak English. With a British accent no less
"Well. I'm happy we have no language barrier" said Brigitte "What do you say?"
Hyun Woo looked over to see a couple looks of encouragement. Especially from the man she defeated earlier. He then nodded as he walked into the ring. Someone tossed him gloves to put on while Brigitte looks at his figure
"Cute" thought Brigitte "I wouldn't mind though" as he puts on boxing gloves and puts them up after going into the ring with her
Meanwhile
Genji was walking up an old abandoned Japanese temple. With lots on his mind. Ranging to bettering himself to seeing if he could defeat the new Talon member. As he looked at a wooden training block
"Itching for a rematch hehehe"
Hyun Woo's ominous voice just floated within Genji's head. Even though Genji isn't much of a revenge type. But something was just off enough. He would make an exception
Genji then looked at many broken pictures and artifacts. Picking one up and examining it. But then he heard a step
He turns around to see nothing. Until he gears something robotic hiding behind the wall. But before he could investigate. Someone tried shooting him in the back as he retaliated using his sword to deflect the bullet
"!" said the perpetrator as Genji spotted him. He then fires again to get deflected again. But before Genji could stop him. The robotic thing turns out to be a mech as it forms its arm into a mini gun and proceeded to fire at him
Genji quickly leaped to the side avoiding lots of the gunfire as he throws stars at the arm only for them to bounce off as ready mind his sword before the mech tried launching a grenade which Genji deflects at the mech
Directly hitting the head
*boom*
The mech tried to reach him while it collapsed. Then the sniper proceeded to more as Genji looks over to where the sniper who then smirks as several arrows are shot
Genji quickly sliced each arrow before any could touch him. Then besides the sniper. All over
"I should have known…" said Genii recognizing they are from a rival clan. The ninjas then proceeded to gang up on Genji who readies his swords as one by one began to fight them off
Slashing more ninjas down. The sniper man pulls out a machine gun and fires at Genji sparing a ninja he was about to kill. As Genji threw stars nearly hitting the man as he continued firing as Genji ran closer and closer until
*slash*
Down went the man as the east of the ninjas continued their assault on him while he then decided to run up the wall and jump up onto the roof. Followed by the rest of ninjas who decided to jump away yo deal with him later
"Cowards" muttered Genji as he watched them jump from roof to roof away. Even though he knew they were a rival clan. He was unsure why they chose to strike now unless Talon had something to do with it
Back to Hyun Woo
Brigitte was on her knees as Hyun Woo unsteadily walks up to her to offer his hand
"Your pretty good" said Brigitte as Hyun Woo pulled her up
"Likewise. Considering that you definitely fought others before me" said Hyun Woo "So what now?"
"What now?*slight giggle* Since you beat me. You gotta deal with the consequences" said Brigitte making Hyun Woo wonder if it was a good idea to spar with her
Later
Hyun Woo sat down with Brigitte with drinks in hand "So. Where you from?"
"Sweden" said Brigitte drinking some water
"Sweden huh? Do they train girls as talented as you?" said Hyun Woo making her chuckle while slightly blushing
"Thank you. But I wouldn't know." Said Brigitte making Hyun Woo raise a brow "I just train very hard and follow the teachings of Reinhardt"
"Reinhardt?" said Hyun Woo
"Reinhardt. A legendary soldier from Germany" said Brigitte as she could tell Hyun Woo doesn't know who that is "Its alright though. I doubt he's well known here"
"I see…" said Hyun Woo "Sounds like an interesting man" making her perk up at him
"He really is. I suggest you look into him" said Brigitte happily "He is truly one the greatest warriors and I strive to be like him"
"Huh. What kind of stuff has he done?" said Hyun Woo
"He had saved his country and faithfully served it on many occasion. Risking his life for many" said Brigitte
"Sounds like a very honorable man" said Hyun Woo making her smile as they look at each other "I respect for anyone who served their countries very well. After all. Its something I strive to do" low key referring to the Empire
"So then. You got a name?" said Brigitte as Hyun Woo tried to think of a name besides Wei Shen. But decided screw it
"..Hyun… Hyun Woo" said Hyun Woo as she smiled at him
"Nice to meet you Mr. Woo. My name is Brigitte" said Brigitte as this wasn't too based after too Hyun Woo as she then looks at the time "Aw man. That time already?"
"You gotta go?" said Hyun Woo as Brigitte nodded
"Sadly I have too. But its been a real pleasure Hyun" said Brigitte "Will I see you around more often?"
"I think so" said Hyun Woo as she goes up to give him a slight punch in the shoulder
"You owe me another spar. But I'll see you soon" said Brigitte as she walks over to call an uber
Hyun Woo smiled at her as he walked a different way as he felt his phone vibrate
"Shen. Where you at?" – Ling
Hyun Woo looks at his surroundings and tries to look for something that would stick out
"I'm by a movie theater. Do you want me to move?" – Shen
"Nah I know where it is. But ill pull up as soon as I see you" – Ling
"Got it" – Shen
Hyun Woo then goes to sit at a bench waiting while getting some looks at some movie posters. He can barely recall the last time he's seen one. But it interested him to see what kind of other entertainment this place has besides video games
Eventually a black rental car pulls up. It was Ling. Hyun Woo gets up and gets in the back to see Aiko right next to him
"….How was your flight?" said Hyun Woo to her
"…tiring" said Aiko trying to stay awake as the car started driving
Later
They arrive at a restaurant with many suspicious looking people in suits. Then. A tall somewhat intimidating man walks his way over to them
"…You the ones Xiao sent?" said the man sitting down in perfect English
"Yup"
"Hmhm. Very good. Now then. Which one of you is Shen?" said the man as the others pointed to Hyun Woo "…well then. Please come downstairs and we'll talk more"
He leads them downstairs to see a bunch of men scribbling notes on a map of South Korea
"Now I'm not paying Xiao for mess ups. But gearing what he said about one of you in particular sounds promising enough" said the man directly looking at Hyun Woo "I trust you can get the job done"
"…what kind of job is it?" said Hyun Woo making the man chuckle
"Simple job. We are doing a prison truck break" said the man
"But wouldn't the overwatch members make mince what of us?" said Ling
"Not when you have drones to distract them" said the man as he proceeded to brief them more kn what to do "But first and foremost. I am Jung. And I hope Xiao thinks twice about putting the EC gang in danger"
To Mei
Mei leaves the airport stretching out her legs as she walks into the sidewalk waiting for her ride. Now that she is here. She could finally see some Korean movies and shows that wasn't available in China
She treated the airport and gets on a bus as she relaxed and grabbed her phone
"Hana I'm finally here" - Mei

"Yay! So where are you now? :)" – Hana
"I just left Incheon airport. And I'm currently heading to my booked hotel for the night"
"Sweeet! Me and Brigitte will pick you up tomorrow" – Hana
":)" – Mei
Mei puts her phone down as she looks out the window holing her suitcase close
To Hyun Woo
Hyun Woo equips his deathtrooper armor as he got in the back of the car
"(Holy shit that's badass)" said one of the mercs as the car started
"The prison truck is on its way to the Seoul Detention Center now" said Aiko "Start going after it as soon as the diversion is close enough" the mercs nodded as one started typing coordinates
"I hope those things work" said Li
Meanwhile that night
Dva flew through the sky in her mech shooting down every drone that tried attacking the city
"Brigitte you got this?" Said Dva as he flies around the sky to avoid a couple missiles while shooting some more
To Hyun Woo
The prison truck was driving through the city as Hyun Woo and the mercs waited for their cue. The car then drove following whilst avoiding suspicion until Li stick his head out to launch a grenade launcher at the back of the truck bursting it open
Hyun Woo crawled into the roof and leaped straight in. An officer tried shooting him as Hyun quickly grabbed his hand and wrapped his arm around his neck and pointed it at the next door. He then forced the officer to fire at the passcode forcing the door to open
Hyun Woo walks him into the second trailer as many SWAT members hesitated to fire at who he held hostage
"(Let him go now!)"
"(You better move it or else this man gets capped!)" Said Hyun Woo as mercs came from behind him to shoot them down. When the SWATs were all dead Hyun Woo pushed him into the wall and shot him "(Start loosening each box)" as one of the mercs presses a few buttons as many of the prisoners sees them and start clamoring on for their release
Hyun Woo looks at each prisoner. Looking for a certain person. Hyun Woo recognized one if them from a the EC gang
"(I hear a truck is about to press by)" said a merc giving Hyun Woo an idea before he puts his foot on the
"(Uh oh)" said the EC member prisoner as his prison box was pushed out of the truck "(NONONONOA-AAA-)"
*smash*
"(Holy shit dude)" said another prisoner as Hyun Woo scanned for the particular person
"(Back up is coming!)" said another merc
"(Two of you distract them)" said Hyun Woo as the two do so and started firing upon the police cars that were tailing after them as Hyun Woo "(There you are Byung Lee)" making the Lee look at him in fear as Hyun Woo pulled the prison glass open and pulling him out
"(PLSASE NO!)"
"(Relax. Were busting you out)" said Hyun Woo picking a machine gun off a dead SWAT and hands it to Lee "(Stay alive while you watch him)" he said to the last merc as Hyun Woo walked into the next trailer to see the driver
"!" said the driver as he pulled a pistol and Hyun Woo quickly pushed it upwards to fire upon the roof as he headbutted the driver before grabbing his pistol to shoot him. More mercs get other prison truck as he could hear more gunfire
"(shit! there must be more police)" said Hyun Woo as he tried unsteadily driving the truck . One merc then runs in "(stabilize this thing!)"
The merc nodded as he took the seat and began driving while Hyun Woo went into the back to see Lee and more mercs he looks out where the lost prison cell is and sees his
"(Get him into the van and escape we'll make a diversion)" said Huun Woo as the mercs nodded once they got Lee into the van and drove off Hyun Woo could hear a thump on top of the truck
"AAH!" went one merc onto the road
"AUGH!" went another as one more frantically ran in as he could see a feminine figure come closer
"Alright Talon Scum. Time for a beatdown" said the figure as Hyun Woo recognized her widening his eyes. Its Brigitte. The mercs all started firing at her as she put up her shield
"(Start your escape. And get Aiko here)" said Hyun Woo as the remaining mercs nodded and began to scram. Hyun Woo quickly grabs a grenade off the and chucks it ay Brigitte knowing she'll use her shield
Sure enough she did but it made her slide back as Hyun Woo ran closer. She grabs her whip shot and launched it at Hyun Woo who barely dodged it at first but then got hit the second time to hit his back on a prison cell
"(Uh oh AAAH-)" said the prisoner as his cell falls off the truck. Hyun Woo looked at the opening and jumped out on top of the truck. However. Brigitte could tell he seemed hesitant to fight her
"HANA! How are you doing!" said Brigitte as she went out after Hyun Woo
"These drones are annoying but so far *boom* *boom* but they are manageable"
Brigitte reaches the top of the truck while Hyun Woo spun a knife in his hand seemingly waiting for her. Though he had a familiar stature
"Alright. Merc. Take this!" Brigitte said as she swings the mace at Hyun Woo managing to dodged it as he ran over spinning the knife as he used it to knock it out of her hands
She then resorted to using her fists as he quickly puts the knife away and blocks most of the attached she was giving him. Until she managed to punch him on the chest
But before that could continue their fight. Aiko jumped into the scene and used a smoke bomb to disappear. Making Brigitte widen her eyes looking around to see they have both are nowhere to be seen
Later
Dva, Brigitte and Mei were watching TV footage of the events
"(This prisoner truck is found to have five cells missing from the truck . The police have found one dead from a collision while another is in custody. Unfortunately the remaining three are still at large. But the streets of Seoul can rest easily as not only is the prisoners still in he truck are also in custody. But members of Overwatch are watching"
"(But before we conclude. We have managed to capture footage of some of the hooligans who have attached the prison truck. With one seemingly theorized to be similar to Talon member Reaper. The warden of Seoul Detention Center is expected to make a statement within 2 days)"
Hana noticed Brigitte was feeling a bit down. So she put her hand in her shoulder
"Hey. Don't feel bad. Things like that happen a the time" said Dva
"No. It's just that something is off about that man I just fought. Its like he hesitated to hurt me at all. Its weird" said Brigitte
"Really?" Said Hana as Brigitte nods "That is strange… wait do we even know if that he is a part of Talon" making Brigitte think to herself
"I… don't know. But honestly doing something like that is something Talon would do" said Brigitte
"Well…. Of it makes you feel any better. Mei is here" said Hana making Brigitte perk up
"Wait really?" said Brigitte
"Mhm. We could go out for some fun. Maybe that will take your mind off this" said Hana
"But usually I do training" said Brigitte
"Well…. Yeah that works. But maybe trying something different every once in a while could make a change" said Hana
To Hyun Woo
"Damn it. Will I ever escape the comparisons to that dick?" said Hyun Woo grumbling
"...Maybe its because your armor?" said Aiko making Hyun Woo sigh in annoyance
Ling and Li were both sleeping while the other gang members were just playing cards
"Hyun Woo. Aiko please come over. I want to speak with you two" said Jung
"Alright Hyun Woo we have the location of the other person But…. We will talk about that later. For now. I want you and Aiko to do it alone. As we cannot risk using our men to start another open gang war" said Jung
"Sounds complicated" said Hyun Woo
"Indeed it is. But everything here is complicated" said Jung as he proceeded to brief Hyun Woo and Aiko on what to do
Later
Hyun Woo was dropped off over the building getting suspicious looks as he entered it. Since it was gang territory. Surely it would have a lot of suspicious people. Not to mention almost all walls and floors were made of glass
The security guard gestured him to cone over as he puts our his hands as the guard scans him with a metal detector and then lets him off. But he got more and more stares as he made his way to the elevator
He catches two people talking to each other after they spot him as they subtly walk after him. He then gets in the elevator. Followed by those two men. Who then got their phones to text a few more people
Then when the door opened. More people came in. And they all looked seemingly wary of him. As of they were expecting him to arrive
At first. Hyun Woo wasn't sure if these people are truly random. But to him the smoking gun was that one of them had a tattoo on his neck that looked like a gang symbol. Only one way to find out if this is a coincidence or not in his mind
"Who wants to get out?" Said Hyun Woo looking at everyone in the elevator. One man quickly grabs a baton and jabs it at Hyun Woo who grabs it and snaps it in half. Tossing both pieces aside as more men ganged up on him
The large man grabs ahold of Hyun Woo who gives him a headbutt to the face before turning around to punch another man into the glass making it crack. Hyun Woo punched the large man straight in the chest before grabbing him and pushed him into more of these men
Hyun Woo then narrowly dodged a stun baton as he kicked the man's face knocking him back before jumping off the wall to spin kick another
Hyun Woo punched another for square in the jaw before he felt himself getting shocked in his back by a stun baton. This gave his foe the ability to punch him twice as two giant men with both at 6'4" jump in in front of the rest as grabbed him and threw him into the other glass wall hitting his back
Before they both could start kicking him Hyun Woo grabs one of their legs as he felt more kicks to his sides as he bend the leg of the large man
"!" said 6'4 man 1# as Hyun Woo grabbed the back of his shirt making everyone else accidentally kick him for a moment before pushing him aside and getting up
6'4 man 2# picks up a stun baton as he jabbed it at Hyun Woo who managed to grab his arm and twisted it
"Ah!" said 6'4 man 2# before receive a hit to his other arm and head as the remaining fighters all charged at Hyun Woo making him move back to pick up a stun baton and swung it making them back up for a moment until 6"4 man 1# gathers courage and tackled Hyun Woo through the glass window and into another room
When they both landed. Hyun Woo quickly rolled up and looked around to catch his breath
"Damn. Whoever built this loved transparency" thought Hyun Woo
"He's over there!" He heard as all the men from the elevator could be heard making their way. He looks at the 6'4 man who goes at an uppercut
"Gh!" said Hyun Woo as he narrowly dodged another blow from the large man before kicking his leg nearly bending it backwards
The man grunted in pain as Hyun Woo hit his neck. Leaving him to collapse. Hyun Woo looked over at more were coming for him. He picks up the stun baton and run down
"FIRE!" yelled someone as Hyun could hear as he could hear gunshots and glass shattering. Hyun Woo instinctively ran down looking for a way out. He runs into a nan as he quickly punching his face and grabbed his gun before he could fire
Hyun Woo quickly turns around to see several armed men with assault rifles. He quickly jumps behind glass as they began firing on him. He points his pistol and fired back injuring one of the men as he made a mad dash firing more rounds until there were none left
He tosses the pistol aside as he sees Hui behind the glass waving his finger. Hyun Woo glared st him as he looked to see the surviving henchmen from earlier start running over pointing their guns at Hyun Woo
Hyun Woo looked around the room as he quickly pulled out his knife and threw it at one of the lights obscuring their vision causing them to open fire as he jumps onto the wall and kicks one in the face grabbing his gun and fired upon more of them and shoots more lights
Two fall down dead while the last two fire in random directions as he felt some bullets graze him. He runs one of them to grab his gun and pushes if up leading the other to shoot his comrade
When the comrade stopped firing. Hyun Woo shoves the dead man aside and fires back. Then. More lights turn on and Hui could be seen behind another glass wall. Hyun Woo fired more rounds but the glass was bullet proof
"You are a well trained man" said Hui on the otherside
"…" said Hyun Woo
"Come. Let's talk" said Hui as Hyun Woo cautiously followed him "I understand why Xiao would want me dead. But would you allow me to you why?"
"I…" said Hyun Woo thinking about what he's saying and trying to se if this is a trap… but decided to play along "…I'll hear you out.." making Hui smile
"Very good" said Hui "You see your not the only person close with Shawn" making Hyun Woo's eyes widen and looking at him with surprise
"Besides killing some of my men. You ended up freeing a few if my closest friends from their death sentence in that prison truck" Said Hui "Yes I know it was you. Your stature, body language, and skills are pretty much the same"
"…"
"Even if that Overwatch hero has given you trouble on a truck. I hear you're the enforcer that kept Reaper on his toes" said Hui chuckling to himself "You really are letting someone as weak as Xiao boss you around?... Ill have you know this. Just ask Shawn about me. I doubt he knows Xiao wants me dead"
"..but why would Xiao do this?" said Hyun Woo skeptically
"To put it simply. Shawn has favorites. I'm among them. Xiao is not. I'm not sure if you killed any of his others. But as far as I know they are still around" said Hui as he pulls out a card "Do you think Shawn would want his friend dead?... no? Good"
Hyun Woo relax his stance but began to think about Xiao and his gang. All they really are to him is a stepping stool into the big dog league. And yet he himself is an associate of Talon. And an associate of Shawn as well. If what Hui says to be true. Its only detrimental to go on
"Think about it. If you ever want to ditch him for real power. You'll know how to contact me. And I can assure you Shawn trusts me much more than him" said Hui skipping the card through the glass. Hyun Woo picks it up and looks at Hui who smirks at him "I suggest taking this chance. But I won't stop you if you refuse. But all I ask is if you think about it"
Hyun Woo thought about for a long moment before deciding not to pursue Hui and longer as he starts going back from where he came making Hui smile as he picks up the phone
"Have all security avoid our intruder. Let him leave" said Hui as he starts making his plans to 'lay low'
Hyun Woo in notices that every able bodied guard isn't going out if their way to attack. They are just watching him… and giving angry looks
To Mei
Mei walked with Hana and Brigitte through Seoul City taking in all the sights of it
"Its about time just the three of us goes on touring the city" said Hana adjusting her sunglasses and hat "Mei I know you said you haven't been here. So I thought you needed to see the best place for fun. The shopping mall!"
"I don't think 'shopping' is really on my list…" said Mei adjusting her glasses
"Aw…" said Hana as sge then began to think if something else "…wanna go to a cafe instead?"
"I would love too" said Mei as they Hana lead them into a coffee shop. Mei looked at the menu to see its mainly in Korean
"You must try the boba. I know you are mainly a tea person. But I'm sure you'll like it" said Hana "Brigitte you know what you want?"
"A choco-boba… and maybe a danish too" said Brigitte as Mei looked interested in trying boba as they got in line
"Just ait down you two. I'll order" said Hana
"You sure?" said Brigitte as Hana nodded as She and Mei then went to sit down "Sp then.. how was China?"
"Its been alright. I mainly just been researching climate and watching my soap operas" said Mei "How's your father?"
"Him? Daddy been working on his previous babies as usual. Ge even sent me blueprints for his new child with packs 7… or 6 guns" said Brigitte
"That sounds like alot" said Mei
"Yeah but you would think that's tame compared to the other stuff he's tried to build" said Brigitte as they both giggled. Mei then looks at a couple magazines. With some movie star men. She resisted her urge to grab one and read as Hana comes over with the drinks and danishes
"Ooo" said Brigitte as she grabs a danish and starts eating it. Mei wondered of there were any bachelor magazones.. or if she will run into that cute guy she just met at Hong Kong unaware that Brigitte met him as well
Mei then shook her head as she looked at the boba Hana put in front of her as age then took it for a sip
To Hyun Woo
Hyun Woo was in the car with Aiko driving
"Did you kill Hui?"
"….No" said Hyun Woo as he thought about Hui's connection to Shawn
"But why didn't you?"
"…There is a reason he got away Aiko.. I'll tell you soon. . But I don't want others to hear" said Hyun Woo
Later
"Very good you two. Now here is your chance to strike again. This time. After doing Xiao a favor. Now its your turn to do me a favor" said the leader unaware Hyun Woo didn't actually kill
"And whats that?"
"The leader of the Moon clan. If you can get rid of him. That will be greatly beneficial" said Jung
"..." said Hyun Woo a bit suspicious
"Heh. Well let me tell you why. The Moon clan has been a pain in my ass ever since they tried invading my turf. But if I were to allow these favors to keep going. I need some 'repayment' if you catch my drift"
"..alright what do we have to do?" said Hyun Woo
"Hyun Woo you can't just agree to-" said Li as Hyun Woo held up his hand making Jung smile
"*chuckkes* very good. Though I must warn you. Even though I'm aware of your reputation. There is a man that rivals it here among that gang. Much more skilled than any other man I've seen from my own men.." sajd Jung
"And who might this be?" said Hyun Woo
"I'm unsure if you see him. But his name is Choi. I don't know of you'll run into him or not as he is very inconsistent with his appearances.." said Jung "But enough about him..
Later
They both arrive on a hill a bit far from the temple
"(Aren't you going to wear your armor?)" said the driver
"(Not this time)" said Hyun Woo stretching his arms "(I want to see what I can do without it)"
"(….suit yourself)" said the driver as Hyun Woo goes in the back to grab a grapple crossbow as he carefully aimed and fired hitting the roof structure and tying the other side down. He gives the driver a thumbs up signaling for him to leave
But then two guards came out to investigate the noise but thankfully they didn't see the grapple hook
Hyun Woo then slides on the metal string as he knocks out a guard kicking his head as he quickly grabbed his knife and lunged towards the second guard slicing his throat as more of the EC gang cars start driving through the doors and started pouring out
Hyun Woo jumped into the window throwing many knives at more guards before they could fire at his allies as he pulls out a gun and fired upon them
"(I think there are more of them coming)" said an EC member as he hears some cars screeching
"(Well. You just hold them off with Aiko!)" said Hyun Woo as he runs off further downstair until he was stopped in his travels by a man with some mech-inspired armor. Like a tank
The man smirked as he aimed his arm and shot a fireball at Hyun Woo nearly burning him. Hyun Woo fired the last of the rounds at the tank man which didn't do much damage at all as Hyun Woo tried getting closer
The tank tried to singe him again only for Hyun Woo to push his arm to the side scorching the wall. He then grabbed a knife and cut the gasoline wire causing it to spill
The tank man then took off the flamethrower and lit it on fire to throw at Hyun Woo
"!" as Hyun Woo quickly dodged it and slashed at the armor trying to find a weak point but managed to find it and rip off the man's helmet
"(YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!)" Said the man as from his other arm pops out a blade as he slashed at Hyun Woo who used his knife to deflect some of the strikes. Hyun Woo back over as the man lunged at him and ended up stabbing the wall
Hyun Woo took this chance to kick his arm breaking the off as he gave two punches to his face knocking out. Hyun Woo then deduced his target is ahead so he sees two silhouettes through an open window
Hyun Woo leaps in surprising both samurai as he bonked their heads together. Before throwing knife at one's arm before back-handing the other. Before following with a punch making the samurai bend over in pain giving Hyun Woo the ability to

The samurai falls dead as his comrade readied his sword and charge at Hyun Woo. He slashed at him only to miss. Hyun Woo spun kicks the samurai face as he grabbed his knife to stab him multiple times killing him
"So…. Your from the Tong" said a man clapping his hands in very good English "Tell me. Why do you mess with the moon clan?"
"You can ask Xiao when your dead" said Hyun Woo making the man chuckle
"Well then. Tell me your name" said the man
"Wei Shen" said Hyun Woo
"Don't lie to me." Said the man "But maybe this will help. My name is Choi" making Hyun Woo realize that is the man Jung told him to watch out for
"…..Hyun Woo" said Hyun Woo begrudgingly as they stared each other down getting into fighting stances. Until Hyun Woo punches Choi's face. Who is unfazed by it
"….do it again. I dare you" said Choi as Hyun Woo attempted another only to be blocked. Before Hyun Woo punched harder to break his stance. He then goes for another as he receives a kick. Choi then pulled out a pistol and tried shooting him
Hyun Woo quickly grabbed his arm and pushed it aside making every shot hit the wall as he then pulled Choi's hand giving him the chance to take the pistol. He then pointed the pistol at Choi and pulled the trigger
*click*
"Damn it" said Hyun Woo whacking Choi with the pistol as Choi responded by elbowing his chest and kicking him back. Hyun Woo picks up a knife and slashes at Choi giving him two cuts as Choi punched him even more in the chest and face
Choi kicks Hyun Woo back into the wall. But before he could do anything
*shnk*
Hyun Woo stabbed Choi's side and threw the knife to scratch his cheek. Hyun Woo smiles showing his bloody teeth. Choi held his side as Hyun Woo punched his chest and then uppercuts him providing distance
Hyun Woo pulls out some of his knives and throws a couple at Choi who blocks each one with very precise movement. Hyun Woo darts straight at him as he tried to land a few punches getting one in before Choi kicks his face
Choi pulls out dual knives and lunged at Hyun Woo slashing at him very fast. Hyun Woo felt his arm get cut as he pulls out his own and clashed blades
Before Choi could stab him. Hyun Woo quickly grabbed his arm and pushed back. He then used his 9ther hand to slash at Choi's face giving him a cut. Choi gets angry as he drives a knife cutting Hyun Woo's shoulder
"!" Said Hyun Woo as he socks Choi as hard as he could followed by another punch knocking him back. They both spat out blood before looking at each other dead in the eyes
Hyun Woo spun his knife in his hand before getting up. Choi stared him down before throwing his knife striking Hyun Woo in the leg
"GAH!" said Hyun Woo as he used his knife to block the other projectile sending it near Choi as he charges at him. Hyun Woo throws his knife at Choi who dodged it as he jumped up to kick Hyun Woo in the face
While he was down. Choi goes for another kick as Hyun Woo grabs his leg quickly as he quickly twisted it. Making Choi grunt in immense pain as he pulls the knife out of his leg and attempted to stab Choi multiple times until Choi grabbed his arm
Choi used his strength as much as he could to keep that knife from penetrating his head. As the knife got closer and closer. Choi began to panic. He had never fought a man as evenly matched as him. He then gets an idea
Choi head-butts Hyun Woo making him drop the knife before elbowing his chest. Hyun Woo grabbed his arm and put his hand on Choi's face to pull it down to his knee as Hyun Woo then picks him up and throws him back
Choi slowly gets up and puts his hand on his bleeding nose. He wipes some blood off before narrowly sidestepping a punch before Hyun Woo drives his knee straight up in to his chest making him cough out even more blood
Hyun Woo quickly kicks Choi as hard as he could as Choi used his knife to block it and slash at Hyun Woo's side making him step back to narrowly avoid another slash. Hyun Woo quickly grabs the dropped knife as Choi charged at him with two blades in hand
Hyun Woo quickly grabbed one of his arms and twisted it again giving him the ability to stab Hui's side twice until Hui quickly punches Hyun Woo straight in the face as he slashes his back multiple times as Hyun Woo gives Hui once last powerful kick as they stumbled back from each other…
They both stared each other down again as Hyun Woo drops to his knees heavily panting. Hyun Woo looked up and have a menacing bloody smile
"….we… are not done yet" said Hui as he unsteadily approached Hyun Woo until he then dropped to his knees as well making Hyun Woo drop his expression
Then two members of the EC gang come in and pointed their guns at him surprising them both. They open fire as Hui used both his knives to block each bullet and expertly thrown at them
"Uck!"
"AAH!"
Both members are killed as Li comes in with a machine gun and Choi widens his eyes as he used the last of his diminishing strength and leaped out the window and lands onto the concrete ground as he gets up and limps away
Li fires at Choi who quickly turns the corner to avoid the gunshots. Making Li growl in anger
"*pant* *pant*… how is everyone else?..*pant* as three armed members of EC along with Aiko come in. Aiko widens her eyes as she helped him up and supported him
"We need to get out here before the police arrive" said Li as the remaining gang go out to return to a van and started driving while they could hear police sirens whirring
They drove as fast as they could out of the area hoping not to be seen. Hyun Woo started to lose consciousness. He could hear the others talk about him while he drifts further out of consciousness
"We really must be fighting someone powerful if even he can't seen seem to win" said Li
"I believe he can. He just may need to be better prepared" said Aiko as she puts her hand on Hyun Woo's face making him wince slightly
Hyun Woo's dream
Hyun Woo walked through what seemed to be endless darkness. Unaware of what's around. Leaving him alone in this eerie place. As he could see a light as he could see a cloaked figure seemingly standing over a gravestone
Hyun Woo reluctantly creeped closer to figure noticing seemed familiar. The figure then noticed that someone was behind him. He then stood up and turned around and Hyun Woo could see his 6'5 tall stature
He then turned around and jumped back
"….Who are you?" said Hyun Woo as the cloaked figure readied his fist as he tried to punch him
"I can ask you the same thing!" said the figure. His voice sounded familiar. He noticed the figure seemed hesitant on hurting him. And could tell Hyun Woo was the same way. But both were unsure why
Hyun n Woo tackled the figure down as they rolled onto green grass as they both began to fall off the ledge
"!" they both yelled as they landed onto a forest ground
Hyun Woo unsteady got up, took off his helmet As he looks at the cloaked figure. To see his hood down. Revealing some familiar black hair. Who slowly turns around
"….Kane?" said Hyun Woo recognizing him. Kane. On the other hand looked very surprised as he approached Hyun Woo
"…" said Kane examining him before widening his eyes
This sort of reunion did bit last as everything began to change in Hyun Woo's vision until he could not see no more
Dreamscape end
Aiko could heat Hyun Woo begin to muttering in his unconsciousness
"Don't leave me….." said muttered Hyun Woo as Aiko held him close for comfort
"We need to get him to a medic" said Li as they drive away from the area and towards the city
"No too suspicious. We take him to custom doctor" said an EC member in broken English "Take left towards the city. Bring him to Jung. He take him to doctor"
They drove into the city until they reached the restaurant from earlier. Parking in the back. Aiko and Li support Hyun Woo
Hyun Woo could barely understand what is going on as he hear lots of chatter as he felt himself put on a bed and some bandages on him. When that was over they left him to rest
"Mr. Woo…"
"…"
"Wake up"
Hyun Woo reluctantly opened his eyes to see everything is stopped in time once again. He looks to his left to see Aiko seemingly walking in. But on his right the briefcase man is back
"You have put on quite the show" said the briefcase man adjusting his tie "I hope you liked your…. Little… 'present' for you.. *sharp gasp* if you continue to go on schedule or… just simply be entertaining while at it… you could be rewarded with… more? Hm?"
Hyun Woo was unsure if what he us hearing right know. "present?" unless.. Hyun Woo then focused on the Briefcase man even more
"*dark chuckle* Don't get too distracted Mr. Woo. After all I am bit one to.. 'squander my investments. But yet I am so…. Fascinated with how humans do their best at survival. You among others have provided.. interesting results"
"….others?" said Hyun Woo
"No need to worry about them… they aren't.. important to you." Said the briefcase man
"…"
"Now before I leave you be… don't get distracted…" said the briefcase man ominously as he turned around to disappear. Then time went back to normal. Leaving Hyun Woo to process what he just said…
A couple days later
Hyun Woo's injuries are all healed and he is out walking in city. Much more familiar with the areas and the sights. He felt this could be a second home to him. But since that briefcase man sent him here for a job. He feels both lucky and unluckily at the same time
He then decided it would be good to maybe grab a coffee as it may help him. He then goes into a café where he sees multiple people playing with each other on video game consoles. He looks at some of the games ranging from racing to puzzle to fighting or any combination of the three
Hyun Woo orders a coffee and began to sit down to look at his phone and waited for his drink. Eventually a girl with sunglasses arrives to see him. Too his surprise
"(Hi)" she said cheerfully. Unsure of how to react. He waves to her nuking her giggle "(I don't think ice seen you around here)"
"(Oh uh.. well you could say I'm new)" said Hyun Woo
"(Interesting. Well I hope you had enjoyed it here in Seoul. Its such an amazing city)" said the girl as she eyed him up and down
"(Thank you)"
"(Would you like to play a game?)" said the girl
"(Umm.. sure?)" said Hyun Woo as an employee comes over and hands him his coffee as the girl leads him to an Xbox "(You ever played Battlefield before?)"
"(I.. don't think I have)" said Hyun Woo as he sopped his coffee and she hand him a controller
He tried shooting the enemies but couldn't seem to get that many kills. She could tell he was serious about not playing Battlefield. But she didn't expect him to be this bad. But then again. Its something about him that was alluring to her
She wasn't sure why. But she certainly seemed to wanna see him more than all the other men she had seen
They both proceeded to play multi-player rounds and just straight up shootouts. Hyun Woo noticed that this girl is very good at taking out opponents. Meanwhile he could barely take out 5 per rounce
This went on for two hours until they became bored of it
"(So what's your name?)" said the girl
"Hyun Woo" Said Hyun Woo
"(Well. It was nice to meet you. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll see you again)" said the girl pulling down her sunglasses slightly as he got a better look at her face. He recognized her as the game girl that was playing against Madison Chong.
. He ran into of all people
She could tell by the look on his face that he recognizes her. She puts her fi her in her lips and winks
"(W-Well.. I'm sure you'll see me here)" said Hyun Woo as they both got up and left the café. Outside there was a car waiting for her so she waves at him goodbye. Though what was strange was that was the same black car that picked up Brigitte earlier
This told him that Overwatch is much closer than he thought it is as he started to walk back.
Much later
*Ring*
*Ring*
"I'm afraid the situation is tense. There are a few people we need 'off the map' ASAP. If you all could do that within 24 hours. That would be great" said Jung on the phone to Hyun Woo, Aiko and more EC members

To Hyun Woo
Hyun Woo looked at his target and followed him. Eventually the target began to notice Hyun Woo's suspicious behavior and decided to run. He runs towards the streets until he goes inside a club. When he followed the target this was some sort of dance party with flashing lights
Hyun Woo maneuvered his way through the people while avoiding women who tried getting touchy with him until he sees his target to go out the other side. Hyun Woo ran straight at him when he was able and they both went straight through the door into the laundry room
Hyun Woo saw there was no one else but his target in this room trying to exit through the window. He quickly grabbed him and threw him at the wall. While the man groaned. He pulled out his silencer and killed him
Thankfully the sound of the party was too loud to hear as Hyun Woo put the silencer away and left as quickly as possible as he did not want to be seen
To Aiko
Aiko sees both her targets giving her looks. She turns around and smirks and goes into the alleyway as they followed her in. When she knew no one could hear them she pulls out her sword

Aiko quickly ran out of the alleyway concealing her sword hoping no one saw her
To Li
Li sees one of his targets sitting over a bridge . He blended into the crowd as he pushed the target over the drop
"Aaaa-!" down went the target as Li acted surprised as many people looked down to see his bloody remains
To Ling
Ling watched the Gate members moving boxes into a van as he jumps down pulls out a metal rope. He quickly wrapped it around one of the member's neck and pulled him down
He then signaled for more EC members with silenced pistols to do the rest
To some other members of EC
They see a man with dirt of them and connections to the Gate gang sitting within his office. They grabbed their silencers and walked in
"(Can I help you?)" said the target as both EC members pulled out their guns and began firing at him in his office as they quickly ran out of the place before anyone can discover their deed
Later elsewhere
A very expensive and fancy car drives through the mountains during the night at high speeds
"You hear the Dragoon gang attack us again?" said a high ranking member
"Yes…. Jae… This could be a problem for us all?" said his accomplice
"Maybe. Xiao really wants us all dead at this point" said Jae as he drank some wine
From outside the car. They were being followed ominously by a man on a motorcycle. They didn't seem to notice yet as he got closer and closer
"the Dragoon gang is such a joke" said Jae looking at his wine glass as his accomplice began to have a drink. But then one of their security looks out their car below to see the motorcycle man getting closer
"Hey who's that?" said the security as they all looked out the window you see him toss an object onto the car before making a 'Your dead' gesture as he speeds up
"strange…" said Jae as he then sees a blinking light his eyes widen on what he saw "OH MY G-!"
*BOOM*
The motorcycle man slows down as he watched the flaming car crash through the rails and down the mountain as he stops at the broken railway
He gets off his motorcycle and slides down to the wreckage. And to his surprise. Jae was barely hanging on and crawling out. Jae sees him and looks with fear as he watched the motorcycle man pull out a gun
*blam*
He then surveys the wreckage and sees no other survivors as he grabs a phone
"Xiao. Its done"
"Very good Wei Shen"
Hyun Woo climbs back up to get on his motorcycle and drives off. While doing that. He began to think about Hui's Offer. Though he certainly needed an explanation to why he isn't dead either. Hyun Woo decided that he will talk to Shawn soon as he rode into the night

1: The name that Hyun Woo takes up are actually references to characters in other media. Wei Shen from Sleeping Dogs
2: Of this chapter seems much more disjointed compared to the previous two. Is Because I wrote ALMOST everything out of order. I hope you can forgive me for it. But its likely I won't do it for the next chapter
More than 2 less than 4: Overwatch characters should have a bigger presence in the next chapter

Two Deathtroopers sat upon a ledge looking over the fields with one having his helmet off and a cigar in his mouth taking a puff of smoke
"…are you just going to smoke that all day?"

"...Why so?"
The deathtrooper takes another puff from the cigar and watched the wind carry away. The other deahtrooper takes off his helmet before pouring himself a drink
"Its what my father did. Its what I will do. I don't care if this medication discourages it. It won't stop me"
"…Well wouldn't that harm your health interest long run?"
"Tch. Why do you care? You drink that skull whiskey"
"Yes but that cigar is very…. What's the word…. 'Powerful'? Where you found that thing" as he puts the bottle behind him and takes a shot
"My grandpa would do the same thing"
"But that still isn't very healthy"
"I know.. but I do it partially to remember.. not just my enjoyment.." as he examined his cigar before laying back at the sky
"Ok…" as he lays back as well
"How much closer to normal have we gotten here?" looking up at the stars
"With a sight like that. I think this is as close as it will ever be" the other deathtropper gives him a playful jab
"I guess so.. but I doubt it will get any better"
