Just something that had been going on in my mind and serves as a message to the Tara haters, since I read somewhere some, to put it mildly, inappropriate attacking comments towards Tara. And frankly, it gives me no pleasure doing this to Tara, but some people are just idiots and any hate thrown towards Tara makes my blood boil. Takes place in Season 4 and I know that Cordelia left but let's just say she comes to visit Sunnydale and frankly, I think she and Angel could've been great friends with Tara, since how can one not like her?
Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.
It was another day in UC Sunnydale, when Buffy, Tara and Willow were walking down the campus, with Willow and Tara holding hands.
"Any plans for tonight?" Buffy asked.
"Not really. Maybe we'll go see attend another session of the Daughters of Gaea." Tara said.
"Hey, I was thinking maybe we could go see a movie with Dawn before sun goes down and we go out on patrol." Buffy said.
"That's a good idea." Willow said.
As Willow and Tara returned to their room in the girls' dorm, they noticed that the window had been partially opened, while the drawer with underwear was sticking out a little as Tara frowned before turning to Willow. "Did you leave the window opened?"
"No. I don't think so." Willow said, confused as she closed the drawer, while Tara closed the window and frowned as she looked outside. She couldn't tell how or why but she had a strange feeling someone was watching her.
From a distance, a mysterious man in the shadows was zooming in with his camera as he saw Tara turn his back on her and take off her sweater, revealing her body and black lingerie but then he sighed in exasperation as Tara closed the blinds to shake off the feeling of being watched as she felt a chill down her spine.
"Unless we're dealing with another invisible freak like Marci, I've got no clue what's going on." Xander said as they met back in Buffy's house.
"Don't you think you're being paranoid?" Anya pointed out.
"Remember when Marci was hounding me?" Cordelia reminded.
"Cordy's right, we shouldn't rule out anything until we know what or who are we dealing with." Dawn said.
"Willow and I asked the other girls and some of them also mentioned that they felt like they were being followed. Riley's keeping an eye on campus just in case." Buffy said.
"I may be going crazy and yeah, I know I have just this… feeling, not any proof but I can't shake it." Tara said.
"Don't worry, if you're right, we'll find that creep and deal with him." Willow assured.
In a darkened room, the man had hung on a string several pictures he had taken of girls in various state of undress, from nude to only in their lingerie as he smirked. They were his favorite models and Tara had just become his last target but only now he decided to take things up the next stage, until now had been watching from the distance. Now he would go up close and personal as he smirked at Tara's photo.
Tara walked down the campus and the feeling of being watched just kept getting stronger and stronger every day. Maybe she was getting paranoid but still…
"Tara."
Tara yelped as she almost bumped into Riley. "Oh, God. You scared the hell out of me."
"Easy. You OK?" Riley assured as he held her shoulders as Tara took deep breaths and nodded as she calmed down. "Don't worry, Buffy told me, me and my colleagues are keeping an eye out. That creep will have nowhere to run or hide."
Tara nodded and relaxed, assured. Unknowing to her, the man was still taking pictures of her through the window.
Tara returned to her dorm, when she noticed an envelope on the floor, put in through the gap in the door. Curious, she opened it and gasped at seeing the contents – the pictures of her changing her clothes in the very room she was in right now, taken through the window. Tara breathed rapidly and looked around nervously, her fears about being stalked coming true.
Tara heard her phone ring as she picked it with a trembling hand to reveal 'PRIVATE NUMBER' flashing. She pressed 'ANSWER' as she put the phone to her ear. "Hello?" She asked with a trembling voice.
"Do you feel safe, Tara?"
Tara didn't recognize the voice but it was sending chills down her spine. "Who is this? Why are you doing this?"
"I hope you enjoyed the art you inspired for me, my muse. It's only the beginning…"
The fear she had felt a moment ago was instantly replaced by anger. "Listen, you sick creep—"
She was cut off by a repeated beeping tone as the man hung up as Tara breathed out heavily.
"As much as I hate to acknowledge this, this guy's a good photographer." Cordelia said as they went outside to check out the spot from which the man must have taken the pictures of Tara.
"Whoever is this psycho stalking creep, when we find him, he's gonna wish he never messed with you." Xander assured.
"We got your back, don't worry." Buffy said and Tara sighed in relief.
"Thank you. Thank you." Tara said, hugging them tightly.
"I'm tightening the security in campus. If they can't catch him, at least we won't make it easy for him to get you again." Riley said.
There had been no incident in weeks as Tara felt relaxed, with the Scooby Gang too.
"You wanna refresh yourself?" Willow asked as she and Tara went into the bathroom, where was the maintenance man working on the boiler.
"Don't worry, I'm done in a moment." The maintenance man said.
"Thanks." Willow said, about to take off her pajamas, but Tara frowned, the voice sounding familiar before her eyes widened.
"Will—"
Next thing Tara knew, she heard a sound of whacking and a cloth on her mouth that tasted sweet before the world faded into black.
Tara trembled as she stood in the hideout, her restraints and gag had been removed but she shivered in fear at the man holstering a gun and a knife, with her in a private room that had been set up like a camera studio with lights, umbrellas and white screen.
"Let me go, please." Tara begged.
"Strip. Now." The man ordered and Tara gulped before she reluctantly took off her sweater and unclipped her bra and she was about to cover her assets with her arms, when she noticed the man inching for his knife as she paled, lowering her arms before he started taking pictures.
Cordelia entered the bathroom, when she saw Willow gagged and tied and freed her.
"Oh, my God, Willow, what happened?" Cordelia asked.
"Tara! He took Tara!" Willow exclaimed.
"Has anyone seen a man and a blonde girl?" Riley asked one of the students in the yard.
"Yeah, he said she had food poisoning and passed out." One of the students said.
"Where did they go?" Buffy asked.
Buffy was walking down the street, when she bumped into Spike.
"What are you doing here?" Buffy asked.
"You kidding? That creep has Tara. There's no way I'm letting him get away with it." Spike said.
The photoshoot continued, leaving her more and more disgusted and scared, her biggest fear, apart from the threat to her life, was what he planned to do with those pictures, knowing all too well the dangers of what could happen if they ended up online.
When the photoshoot ended, Tara found herself now in a skimpy underwear, which clearly wasn't her style but it seemed to give the man sick pleasure.
"Please, no—" She began before crying out as he started groping her on her chest and butt and she swallowed, suppressing her disgust.
"Shut up."
"Perfect, such lovely work." The man remarked. "Time for… the next shoot."
Inhaling shakily, she turned towards the table. Only to yelp as he suddenly began groping her again.
"Such a wonderful body; no wonder you are inspiring." He remarked, a biting edge to his voice. "Still can't believe you ruined yourself that way, how many?"
"What?"
"How many did you screw with?" He snarled.
"That is none of your business!" Tara snapped.
But as quickly as it came, the anger left her as he ripped her bra off and slapped her hard, knocking her to the floor before she felt a sound of zipper and she paled.
"Maybe I'll be the first for you. You should feel honored—"
He was interrupted as the door kicked in to reveal Buffy and Spike.
"That's enough of it, you sick freak!" Buffy yelled as she lunged at the man and Tara closed her eyes but she could hear the sounds of punches landing and bones breaking and some slamming, smashing and glass breaking as well as screams of pain. When it was over, she felt a jacket on her shoulders as the man was curled to a ball.
"It's OK. It's over." Spike said, when Tara let out a sigh of relief before he and Buffy helped her get up and she felt a jacket on her shoulders and she held onto it tightly.
After it was over, all Tara needed was a good warm shower to relax as they returned to Buffy's house and Tara entered the kitchen with her hair wet and in her sweater and jeans, relieved, with Buffy, Xander, Anya, Willow, Spike, Cordelia, Giles and Dawn waiting for her, while Riley was making sure the man would not hurt anyone ever again.
"That creep's going away for a long time." Buffy said as Tara sighed and relaxed.
"How are you feeling?" Dawn asked.
"Honestly, I'm just glad it's over." Tara said as she sat down, they all having a dinner.
"That bloke's lucky I have the chip, I'd rip him apart." Spike said.
"Some people are just sick misogynist sexist freaks." Buffy said.
"Whatever happens, we got your back. We love you." Willow said, kissing Tara on her cheek and wrapping her arm across Tara's neck as Tara sighed, relieved.
It gave me no pleasure to do this and I didn't want to go too far with what happens to Tara here, since I'm not a sexist bastard unlike Joss Whedon and I love Tara too much to be too cruel with her. Anyone disliking Tara and crapping on her is an idiot who needs a lesson, that's it. Honestly, part of me can get the dislike towards Dawn to a little extent but I don't get the dislike towards Tara at all.
So, what do you guys think?
Please review and let me know if you have enjoyed this one-shot.
