So this was a sweet idea I had in mind which is fluff between Tillow/Dawn, and Cangel/baby Connor.
For this, the mess from the second half of Angel Season 3 and Buffy Season 6 never happened, so that's the time period where this takes place.

"Well, we're going", Angel told Cordelia with a smile, as she held baby Connor in her arms and cooed at him.
"You're gonna meet more people, Connor", Cordelia said while rocking him.
"Actually, about that", Angel trailed off as Cordelia turned to him.
"What's the matter?" She asked him.
"Yeah, it's only three people there actually", Angel revealed, shocking her. "Willow, Tara and Dawn."
"What about the others?" Cordelia asked. "I mean, 'yay' for no Spike, chip or no chip, don't want him near Connor, but the others?"
"Xander broke up with Anya so now she doesn't hang out with them, and he left for a vacation, Giles left long ago, and Buffy…" Angel sighed sadly. "Yeah, she took a sabbatical for a month too."
"Why?" Cordelia asked in concern.
"I think something has been wrong with her since she came back", Angel confessed to Cordelia, remembering his meeting with Buffy after her resurrection, she'd been pretty depressed, and he'd later found out it was due to being torn out of Heaven. "But she hasn't been able to move past it, let her friends help her."
"What are we gonna do?" Cordelia asked.
"I want to help, but nothing we can do right now", Angel pointed out. "Whatever Buffy is going through, she has to let her friends in at some point instead of running away."
"Well then, I was looking forward to seeing her reaction to us, buzzkill", Cordelia quipped as she and Angel shared a chuckle and then a kiss.
"Either way, we still have 3 people to meet when we go", Angel shrugged and Cordelia nodded.
Fred and Gunn had taken a few days off for their relationship, and Wesley had done the same due to feeling the need to take a little rest, while Lorne had gone off to Las Vegas.
With Angel and Cordelia going off to Sunnydale, Angel Investigations would be closed for a day or two.
Next night, Sunnydale, Summers House
Angel knocked the door as it was opened by Willow. "Oh hey, we were just about to call."
"Traffic's a…pain", Cordelia said, and she'd been about to say 'bitch' but not said it due to baby Connor nearby in the baby stroller. "Hi Willow."
"Hey Cordy", Willow hugged her and then looked at baby Connor. "Hey there little guy, you're so, so cute."
"Ain't he?" Cordelia asked as Willow lightly pinched his cheeks and kissed his forehead.
"More charming than your daddy", Willow said as Angel chuckled.
"No offense, you're charming, he's even more charming", Willow explained to him.
"Well thank you", Angel said.
"Come on, come in", Willow invited them inside as they walked in, where some snacks had been prepared for them, including a few glasses of pig's blood for Angel, and Tara was sitting there with Dawn.
"Angel, Cordy", Dawn got up and hugged them both.
"Hi Dawnie", Cordelia greeted her as Angel just patted her head, and then she looked at baby Connor.
"That's…him, right?" Dawn asked.
"Yeah, you wanna hold him?" Angel offered.
"What? Me? Uhhh…" Dawn seemed nervous at the prospect of handling a baby.
"Come on, its not a hassle", Cordelia assured as she picked up baby Connor, and gently handed him to Dawn, who seemed nervous.
"Oh….right…..hey baby", Dawn greeted baby Connor who was looking at her with his wide, innocent and cute big blue eyes. "I'm Dawn, and you're….really cute."
"Come on, there's snacks for you", Tara called out from where she was sitting.
"Sorry, didn't greet you earlier", Angel apologized as Tara got up and shared a little hug with them both before all sat down.
Dawn was still a bit nervous holding baby Connor but seemed a bit better.
"He is so cute", Tara smiled, stroking Connor's head and kissing his forehead too.
"Yeah, you two brought such a nice and sweet bundle of joy with you", Willow commented as Angel and Cordelia shared a smile.
While the boy's mother was Darla, and she had proven her love by staking herself to let him live, after that, Cordelia had been his mother in all but name, and given him a mother's love, cared for him like he was her own.
"He is our brightest hope", Angel told Willow.
"Yeah, he is the cutest and sweetest little baby in the world", Tara agreed as Dawn now felt more comfortable with him.
"Yes, look at those cute big eyes", Dawn smiled as she rocked Connor a little.
"So, how are things here?" Cordelia inquired. "With Buffy and the rest, I mean, we know the basics but anything else?"
"It's…complicated", Willow sighed as the three exchanged grim looks. "Spike left after a little incident."
Buffy did not want the incident mentioned to anyone else outside of those who already knew, Angel included, so Willow wasn't going to tell him exactly what it was.
"And Buffy decided she needed a sabbatical after that", Tara added.
"Yeah, and she left….again", Dawn scoffed, Angel and Cordelia noting the hurt and anger in her voice.
"I'm sorry to hear that", Angel told the three of them. While he felt horrible for what Buffy was going through, continuing to punish her sister and friends over it wasn't going to make things better for any of them.
"Xander and Anya broke up, like we mentioned before, she spends all her time running the shop while he went on a small vacation, he'll be back before Buffy though", Tara informed the two. "What about you guys?"
"It's fine with us", Angel assured them. "I mean, there was this Demon Hunter from my past-"
"Horrid Demon Hunter", Cordelia added. "And his loyal minions, who wanted to hurt us for what Angel had done as Angelus, and a time-travelling Demon who wanted Connor dead because of a prophecy."
"But we dealt with them", Angel assured. "Now it's all good with us."
"Well, at least things are going good for you all, I'm happy for you guys", Willow smiled at them.
Connor suddenly started crying and Dawn's nervousness returned.
"Don't worry, we got it", Cordelia said as she gently scooped the baby from Dawn's arms and rocked him while Angel took out his milk bottle.
"Here's your bubba, come on, drink it", Angel gently said in a 'child' voice while Cordelia soothed baby Connor, and he calmed down bit by bit, drinking the milk too.
Willow and Dawn, who knew Angel a lot longer than Tara had, were pleasantly surprised to see him like this. Back then he was just the handsome, mysterious and broody stranger. Now, there was so much more to him.
He was in a happy relationship with Cordelia and loving father to a cute baby son.
Cordelia herself had changed a lot too, from high school queen bee to a kind, caring and nurturing woman, and Connor's mother in all but name.
"I'm just coming", Dawn said as she walked off.
Angel put Connor back in the stroller as Cordelia told Willow and Tara. "You two are lucky, at least yours is mostly grown up and can clean and feed herself."
The two exchanged a look, knowing Cordelia was referring to Dawn as their kid, and she wasn't wrong.
"Yeah, it started because of need, she was alone, no mom, no sister", Willow sighed. "She needed someone."
"And you two stepped up", Angel noted with a smile. "And seems like you did well. It started as need, but its obvious to me, she loves you two like she loved her mom."
"Yup, now we're both unlikely families of three", Cordelia quipped, getting some chuckles out of them all.
"Yeah, we'll always be there for her, but Buffy needs to be too, Dawn needs her sister just as much as she needs us", Tara pointed out.
"When she comes back, give me a call, I'll talk to her", Angel offered.
"Thanks", Willow said as Dawn returned with Miss Kitty Fantastico in her arms.
"Hey guys, meet Miss Kitty Fantastico, Willow's and Tara's kitty", Dawn introduced the kitty as Willow and Tara smiled while Cordelia took the kitty.
"She's so cute", Cordelia said as Miss Kitty looked at her, then at Angel who patted her head.
"Here, kitty, kitty, kitty", Angel muttered while patting Miss Kitty as she purred in affection.
"Meow", Miss Kitty meowed while looking at baby Connor.
"I think she wants to meet the baby too", Tara said as Cordelia put Miss Kitty in the stroller.
Connor seemed a bit nervous at having the cat near him, but Miss Kitty just looked at him curiously and did another 'meow' before curling up next to him, giving him enough space while looking all protective, as if she was a dog instead of a cat.
"Awwww", Willow muttered as Dawn smiled.
"I knew they'd get along", Dawn said.
"Well, this is a good day", Cordelia commented.
"Yeah, better day for us all", Tara smiled as the two unlikely families of three enjoyed being in each other's company with the cute Miss Kitty Fantastico for the whole night.
