"Captain Matilla! We've received a mission brief! Straight from HQ!" Said a green haired girl to her red haired captain as she saw a mission brief from Otto.
"From HQ?!They've finally noticed out true potential! Alright Girls! It's time to head to a place where the real was is raging." The Captain said, then clenched her prosthetic arm.
"This is our chance to prove our true worth, Zofia! All our sacrifices would not be in vain once become S-rankers." Matilla said.
"Just let me read through the mission brief first..." Zofia said as her bright brown eyes, widened in surprise.
"Susannah! get out of the damned shower or we will leave you behind!" Matilla ordered.
And then a Blond girl, came out of the shower, with a towel covering her body.
"I'm done! I'm done! Wait for me! Sorry for taking so long, captain!" Susannah apologized.
"I'm sorry, Captain but... HQ only asked for Valkyrie Susannah." Said Zofia causing Matilla to have a jaw dropping moment.
"What the...?! ARE WE A JOKE TO THEM?!" Matilla demanded while Susanna felt out of the loop at what was going on in front of her.
With Rita and Beverly
"Well that was interesting." Remarked Beverly as Otto cut of comms.
"Indeed, I wonder why Lord Otto, requested that girl specifically." Rita said.
"Who knows, maybe we will fin out soon enough, anyways this whole talk about missions has made me hungry, what to go somewhere for lunch, my treat? We can also invite Bianca with us." Beverly told Rita.
"Very well." Rita agreed.
"Well... I'm heading off to England." Susannah, who was dressed in a purple hoodie, black daisy dukes, said as she hopped into the plane and 9 hours and 10 minutes later she arrived in London and she saw the city from the Planes window, with excitement.
"Whoa! I've arrived at London." Susanna said with a childlike wonder as the airplane landed at the Heathrow airport, and walked towards the Airport exit.
"Whoa! I... I think I'm lost." Susannah said as she became slightly dizzy, and began to walk aimlessly.
"Whoah! I'm so totally lost..." Susann said as she accidentally crashed into Durandal.
"Are you alright, my fair lady? Your eyes cry out in desperate need..." Said Durandal in Susannah's dramatized perception of her desperate situation
This however caused Susannah to have a certain reaction.
"Kyah... Kyah~AAA~AAA~." Was all that Susannah could get out of her mouth until she jumped and hugged Durandal which caught the S-Rank Valkyrie off guard and confused by the girls sudden reaction.
"You're the legendary S-Ranker Durandal! I can't believe you came to pick me up!" Susannah said, while Bianca's mind was still trying to comprehend what the girl was on about, as she didn't recall calling anyone and as far as she knew she was on vacation.
"Do you remember me? The Phosdjinns Valkyries? I'm Susannah. You really helped us during the Dubai outbreak. All of Us got to skip the battle thanks to your assistance." Susannah said.
"Yeah... Uhh... Okay. Erm, did I meet you before?" Bianca asked awkwardly.
"Oh... Right... you did not..." Susannah was about to say when she suddenly felt the air temperature drop considerably.
"My, my, you must be the support promised by Lord Otto." Said Rita causing the younger blond girl to turn and look at Rita with slight embarrassment.
"You are the Legendary Miss Rita! I' Valkyrie Susannah, I am here to help you in your search for the 2nd Divine Key." Susannah said as she ran towards Rita.
"Since you've met your support, I guess it's time for me to bid you and Beverly goodbye." Durandal said.
"What?! Master Durandal aren't you coming with us?" Susannah asked Bianca.
"Because I'm having a London Holiday~ And also I have just received a call from HQ regarding a Honkai problem... I'll leave Rita and Beverly to your care." And with that Bianca left, but not without getting a salute from Susannah.
"YES, MA'AM! I promise I will help Miss Rita and Miss Beverly, and keep them safe from any harm, Master Durandal! I won't let you down! Kya! You are My Idol" Susannah said.
At the same time Outside
"Mom, How've you been? Sorry I hadn't been able to call you yesterday, I had some important work to do and it couldn't wait, Right now I am waiting inside Rustbucket, for Rita and a support Valkyrie that Otto sent over to London to assist us in our Mission." Was the message that Beverly wrote her mother as she sat in the RV's seat and send via her cellphone.
"Beverly, are you ready?" Came Rita's voice which caused Beverly to swivel her head to her left to see the Englishwoman with a blond girl next to her, who looked at Beverly with admiration written all over her face.
"Uhhh... Hi." Beverly said awkwardly as Rita and Susannah hopped into the RV.
"Beverly take us to our Hotel." Rita told Beverly.
"You are the Famous American Valkyrie Beverly Tennyson, it's such an honor to meet you!" Susannah said in a fangirl-like manner.
"Nice to met you to, but don't you think that such matters should be discussed elsewhere in private?" Beverly said with some air quotes.
"Sorry." Susannah said as she scratched her head in embarrassment.
"If our banter is over, Beverly can you be a dear and get us to the Hotel?" Rita requested as she let out a cough to interrupt the conversation before it spiraled beyond what was necessary.
"Alright, Rita." Beverly said as she turned on the RV and off they went to the Hotel
At some Fancy Hotel
"This is the latest scanner from Schicksal, Miss Rita, Miss Beverly. It should be useful in our mission to find the 2nd Key. Overseer Otto also said that Schicksal searched the entirety of England during it's 500-year rule of the British isles but found nothing. He's therefore convinced that the 2nd Divine Key is buried much deeper than what we used to believe, our mission is to re-scan various areas with this High-tech scanner. Oh yea, failure is also not an option." Susannah told Beverly and Rita, as she grabbed Rita's hands.
"I cam from a family precious gem and mineral prospectors. Miss Rita! I know what I'm doing! Lord Otto even said that I am the best girl for this job!" Susannah said with excitement, causing Rita to let out a sweatdrop.
"I... will go and grab some coffee." Beverly said as she left the room.
"Now that I've told you what I am truly good at, I say it's time to go! I can't wait to start the adventure and dig for stuff." Susannah said with enthusiasm in her tone.
"I'm very touched by you enthusiasm Susannah..." Rita said as she left to grab the notes that Catherine had lended them yesterday.
"Well then let's start our "Dig"... into this humble stack of notes and find lead to the 2nd Key's whereabouts." Rita said as she put down the stack of notes.
"I... I'm bad a digging through notes... Can I do something else, please?" Asked Susannah.
"Don't worry Susannah, I have engaged a professional to assist our data mining." Said Rita.
Downstairs
In the lounge Beverly was holding a tray with cups of tea, and a teapot along with cup of coffee, as she walked towards the Elevator Beverly noticed Catherine.
"Hello Director, fancy seeing seeing you here." Beverly said as she walked up to the director.
"Oh, Miss Beverly, how've you been as of late? I do hope that the large stack of notes wasn't a bother." Catherine asked.
"Nonsense Director, besides I am really interested on the notes you research has garnered." Beverly told Catherine, which caused the museum director to raise an eyebrow.
"Truly Miss Beverly? You don't strike me as the first person to be interested in matters of history. No offense meant." Catherine told Beverly.
"Well... To be honest I wasn't a person that concerned herself in matters of history either." Beverly admitted.
"What changed then?" Catherine asked Beverly with genuine curiosity.
"Well my cousin happened." Beverly said with a sad tone.
"I beg your pardon?" Catherine asked.
"Well... My cousin is what school kids like to call Teacher's pet, and was one that thought things way ahead than it was needed with a bit of a pedantic attitude but... She had a knack for history, and really like doing research on US historical matters when we were younger, and so I picked it up from her." Beverly told Catherine which made the Director raise an eyebrow.
"What happened to her?" Catherine asked Beverly who had a sad look to her face.
"11 years ago me and my cousin along with our grandpa were on summer break in Yellowstone park, after I went for a walk in the woods, and after a few hours later a Honkai Beast attack occurred and a Templar along with some Chariots..." Beverly said with a sad tone, before Catherine interrupted her.
"I have heard enough, and I do apologize if talking about it made you feel uncomfortable." Catherine said apologized.
"Thanks." Beverly said as they arrived at their floor, and as they made their way to the room, Catherine rang the room's bell.
"Oh, Director Catherine you have arrived, we were just talking about you, and Beverly you brought coffee and tea, splendid." Said Rita as she looked at the Museum director.
"Yeah, thought that we might need something, while going through the data the good director has collected." Beverly said as she and the Director entered the room.
"I do hope that I haven't kept you ladies waiting for long, Miss Rita." Catherine apologized.
"Of course not Director Catherine. Allow me to introduce this young lady. This is Valkyrie Susannah, she's the support sent from our HQ." Rita Introduced Susannah who made a curt bow.
"Pleased to meet you!" Susannah greeted.
"We really are appreciative of your assistance director. Schicksal will ensure that you're generously compensated for your time." Rita said as Beverly put down the tray and poured the tea and Coffee.
"You are being too polite Miss Rita, I am ore than pleased than to offer my humble assistance." Catherine said as she opened her Laptop.
"Director Catherine where do you recommend we should start out investigation?" Asked Rita.
"May I suggest that we start in Camlann?" Asked Beverly as she looked at one of the notes.
"I would agree with you but... Camlann's actual location is a very disputed topic, among the scholars that are specialized in the Arthurian Mythos. Though I cannot blame you the British soil is littered with palces and references linked to the Arthurian Legends." Catherine told them.
"How about the Tintagle castle, the birth place of King Arthur, or perhaps mount Snowdon where the king was said to have slayed a giant. Perhaps we could start with Glastonbury, a Place many believe to be the actual Avalon." Catherine said as she gave a few suggestions.
"Those sound like a lot of places, we might take a long while to look through everything, but... if you had to choose one of the places to look through director which would it be?" Asked Susannah who was reading the book upside-down causing her to have a hard time to understand what was in the book.
"You are holding it wrong, dear. But back to the matter at hand, since we are looking for a divine sword, our best would be..." Catherine said as she flipped the pages to Glastonbury Tor.
"Glastonbury Tor has long since been regarded as the portal to Avalon the Land of the Fae, and according to legend, the Divine sword Merlin gave Arthur was forged by the Fae as well, and since the sword is closely linked to Avalon I'd suggest that Glastonbury as our first stop." Catherine told them.
"Or the Sword could be the 2nd Divine key we've been looking. Well guess we have a destination in mind then, I'll go and prep up the RV." Beverly said as she walked out of the room to head to the RV.
"Very well then." Rita said.
In Glastonbury
After Susannah, Beverly, Rita and Catherine arrived at Glastonbury.
"This place is Simply Be-you-tiful." Susannah said as she jumped into the air.
"Indeed. But don't forget our mission, we can admire the scenery later." Rita said as she drew a strand of hair behind her ear.
"You worry to much miss Rita! Time to show you what I am truly capable of!" Susannah said as she went and activated the scanner.
Catherin could simply smile at the excitement shown by Susannah.
And as for Beverly who looked over the coastline couldn't help but have a sense of foreboding.
At a World Serpent Base
"The Schicksal Valkyries have arrived at the designated location, we may initiate our plan." A woman told Jackal through a comm channel.
"Excellent work, that turned out easier than I expected." Jackal said as she leaned on the table.
"I say we give them a warm reception." Jackal said with a dark humor laced tone.
