"What's the situation Revenant?" A woman's voice came over a radio as she asked a girl who was around 18 years old and looked looked at Jackal and Otto through a Rifle's scope.
"The situation has taken a drastic turn, Raven. Jackal's cornered by Otto." Revenant informed Raven.
Revenant had white hair that were cut at shoulder length, she had electric blue eyes, and a fair complexion. She was wearing a black armored carapace style graphene armored suit with with red linings a pair of black military boots.
"Huff, can you help her get out of the corner?" Raven asked Revenant.
"Hmmm, well I could... but isn't the shot reserved for someone, let's 2 S-rank Valkyries? Even then I only have a single shot." Asked Revenant.
"I am aware, but we cannot afford to loose, Jackal to Otto, and even then if were to kill Jackal we would loose the one person that's in charge of our more dubious projects." Said Raven over the radio.
"I guess, but she'll owe me one big time." Said Revenant.
"I know, and I'll make sure she remembers it. Raven out." Raven said as she closed off coms.
"God damnit Jackal, it's either me or Raven cleaning up after all your messes." Revenant muttered to herself as she took aim.
"And here I was trying to save this shot for, Tennyson and Rita." Revenant said as she took aim.
"Now, let's make this shot count... 3rd Divine key." Revenant said as she charged the shot.
"Save your bullets miss. Jackal. You know well enough that you can't kill me with bullets." Otto told Jackal with confidence lacing his tone.
"We'll see about that." Jackal replied.
So Revenant pulled the 3rd divine key trigger and it launched it's Projectile at Otto, who's avatar managed to intercept it, but... the shot destroyed his hand and then proceeded to destroy the rest of his body.
"A previous era weapon can only be destroyed by another. You've received a blow from the 3rd divine key, and your body is being reduced to atoms." Jackal told the Overseer who looked rather surprised.
"Consider me shocked that you have another key in your arsenal." Otto said with surprise in his tone.
"However, we were saving the shot for those Valkyries of yours. But... a killing blow against the Schicksal's overseers is just as satisfying." Jackal told Otto.
"A most surprising gift, Lady Jackal." Otto said as he proceeded to upload his digital conscience to a spare avatar.
"Well played, Jackal." Otto congratulated as he successfully uploaded his conscience to the spare avatar.
"...We shall meet... Again." promised as his head hit the ground with a thud and turned into dust, which irritated Jackal.
"Damnit. He acted faster that I thought he would... And managed to cheat death." Jackal said.
With Revenant.
"How did it go?" Asked Revenant as her Honkai arm let out some steam. due to the heat made by the weapon's shot, which also managed to scorch some of the land around the blast radius.
"Bad News, he managed to get away. We only struck one of his Solium avatars and I fear that he managed to escape by relocating his mind. Even if he didn't, he would only loose part of his memories" Jackal informed Revenant, the later only let out a sigh as she picked up the damaged 3rd Key.
"Well, I got worser news for you, the 3rd Divine key is damaged. And wasted a good shot while we were at it." Revenant said with a displeased frown on her face.
"It's of no consequence , we managed to teach that Schicksal overseer a good lesson. And if he ever crosses paths with us again we'll make sure they regrets it." Jackal said.
"Should I send the order to relocate the 2nd Divine Key?" Asked Revenant.
"No." Jackal told Revenant.
"No?" Revenant asked again surprised at Jackal's order.
"No, that won't be necessary, besides do you think our sire would leave it undefended?" Jackal told Revenant.
"Whatever you say." Revenant, said as she began to leave with the 3rd Key in her shoulders.
"Hope we meet soon enough... Brother" Revenant thought to herself.
In the Crypt
"Well, well, well. Look who it is the disease ridden street cat." Beverly said as she held her greatsword in a long point guard, and suddenly she felt as if she was hearing something telling her what to do.
"Meow(I will make you regret those words female just so you wait!)" Stan made what looked like a yell but neither Beverly nor Rita.
"Susannah, can you hear me! What's going on at your place?" Asked Rita.
"Stan, the mission's a failure, our order is to retreat at one." Came Jackal's voice over the collar's radio, though this order only infuriated the deline.
"Meow, Meow, Meow(Damnit! My silly human is messing up my fight again!) Hrrrr!(You just got lucky again human!)"An angry Stan said as he leaped away from Beverly and Rita, the latter looked surprise and the former for some reason was in a stupor.
"Why did it just retreat? No matter, I'll have to go and check if Susannah is alright." Rita thought to herself before she turned and noticed Beverly drop her stupor, before she impaled her greatsword to the ground.
"Consume... Enhance... Replicate." Was the only thing Beverly could hear, and as she impaled the greatsword to the ground.
"Hrrr!(I will get you next time!)" Stan said before red pikes sprouted from the ground, which caught the feline by surprise.
"Meow!(What is this!?)" Stan said as he halted and Beverly turned around and her her sclera were black with red veins and her irises were blood red.
"Meow?! (What's with this human!? It's as if her powers are off the charts!)" Stan said as he looked at Beverly, who was walking towards him, with fear and the impaled greatsword dissolved into nothing millions of nanomachines which reformed into Beverly's hand.
"Hssss! (That's it I'm out of here!)" Stan said as he began to flee as soon as he saw the pikes dissipate.
And as he made his way out he saw a female walking inside the tomb.
"Raaawr!(get out of my way!)" and angry Stan said as he leapt at her for the kill.
But the blond back handed him and Stan crashed into the wall, which caused his collar to break and transform to his normal cat form.
"Meow!(My entire body aches! What just happened?)" Stand asked himself wondering to himself and as he regained conscience he heard the tapping of a heeled shoe and saw Beverly making her way at him, with fear all over his body he felt as if his colors had drained.
He only saw a shadow of an executioner, with a sword in hand she raised it and like a thunder she swung it but... it stopped.
"Beverly don't." Bianca said as she held Beverly's hand from killing the cat.
Stan, being a cat that had underwent extensive bio-engineering made him 10,000 time much more sensitive to threats, and these two human in front of him made his instincts to tell him to run, or do something to ensure his survival.
So, Stan sucked his pride and fell to the ground with his belly exposed.
"Meow!(Please Don't kill me! I am a poor defenseless kitty!)" Stan said trying to save himself from this precarious position he found himself in.
And Bianca stopped for a moment as she looked at Stan.
As for Beverly stood there as if she was trying to reboot herself.
"Whoa! What is it doing? Wait.. Does this mean I can give it a...Tummy Rub!" Bianca asked herself when she suddenly began to give Stan a belly rub.
"Hmmph. What just happened?" Beverly asked as she looked around and saw Bianca giving Stan a belly rub.
"Bianca... What are you doing with the cat that tried to kill me and Rita? And please leave it alone who know what disease it has on its person." Beverly asked Bianca as the later got the cat in her arms.
"Pfft, that's Jackal's little Honkai killer Monster? Who knew it turned out it turned out to be such a coward." Otto said with humor in his tone.
"Who are you and what are you doing here kid?" Beverly asked as she looked at the child sized avatar of Otto.
"Who are you calling a kid, Mrs. Tennyson?" Otto asked Beverly, who paled a bit.
"I'm sorry sir, please don't cut my pay, I have rent to pay." Beverly apologized immediately, realizing that this was one of Otto's avatars.
"Please, Lord Otto stop calling him names, he's just a hopeless little kitten. And stop apologizing Beverly, it's not as if you are the one paying the rent as much as Schicksal is paying the rent for you." Bianca told them.
"By the way Lord Otto, what happened to your battle avatar?" Aske Bianca asked Otto which made Otto come up with an excuse.
"I... Had to ditch him as he was getting to much attention than was necessary." Otto said as he let out a nervous cough.
"Hmm... they probably took Susannah away." Rita thought to herself as she looked at the unconscious body of Catherine, until Bianca busted through the concrete.
"Hey Rita~." Greeted Bianca.
"Quite the Dramatic and... most unexpected entrance, master Durandal. I thought Lord Otto gave you an urgent Mission." Rita commented as she looked at the approaching Bianca, who was followed by Beverly.
"And Lord Otto is here to give you an explanation of what happened." Otto said as he stepped forward
