Schicksal 2nd Divine Key Holding Facility.
12:21 PM.
250 meters off of the facility
Sigrid was wearing a bodygolve battlesuit, which connected a graphene chestplate, forearm guard and greaves, and an armored mask which had optical sights for night operations.
"Alright I got eyes on target." Said Sigrid as she looked at the 2nd Key through the 3rd Key's cope which was currently on her hands.
"Very well Revenant, proceed as planned." Said Grey Serpent as he began to hack into the Facility's security system and turn them off.
"Strike." Sigrid said in a low hush tone and suddenly gun fire could be heard.
"Now we begin, old friend." Sigrid said as the 3rd key seemed to glow with a vibrant light as if agreeing with it's wielder.
And so Sigrid out down the 3rd Key and pulled out a Zipline launcher, and it connected with target.
Seeing that it was a Bullseye, she picked the 3rd Key and zipped to her target breaking through the window and some World Serpent mechs were present in the control room.
"Alright, you lot know what to do, get everything online, and active the Honkai Energy Reactor." Sigrid said
Overseer's Sanctum
"Lord Otto, something has happened at the Facility where the 2nd Key's being held!" Amber walked towards Otto's sanctum and as the overseer of Schicksal turned and looked at his assistant he took in the worried look on the woman's face.
"What seems to be the problem Amber?" Otto asked Amber wondering what had his assistant so worried.
"Someone has breached the facility and are probably trying to steal the 2nd Divine key." Amber informed Otto, who's looks turned serious.
"Show me." The Overseer ordered and Amber did as he ordered and in front of him was the footage of the assaults conducted by robots that seemed to have an unknown affiliation, and were all black with no identifying marks, and were carrying either blades or silenced weapons.
The footage changed to the control room where a breaking glass noise was heard and a woman with what looked like a rifle on her back, began barking orders to the robots inside and they begin to activate the Honkai power generator, and the footage stop at the woman.
"Amber, do we have a Valkyrie team in close proximity to the facility?" Otto asked his assistant, who nodded in confirmation.
"Yes, the Immortal blades that have been stationed in the facility along with Madam Rita haven't left as of yet." Amber informed Otto who simply smiled.
"That's excellent news, have them dispatched to secure the 2nd Key and Apprehend the intruder." Otto told Amber.
"Understood." Amber said as she began sending Bianca and Rita the Message that the facility had been breached.
In the facility
As soon as the Facilities' alarm system began blaring Sigrid contacted Grey Serpent.
"I thought You had turned off the alarm system?!" Sigrid said in an angry tone, at the mysterious hacker.
"I did turn off the Security system but it'd appear that we failed to predict that Schicksal had a secondary security system." Said Grey Serpent, making Sigrid snarl.
"I'd suggest that you finish quickly time is off the essence Revenant." Grey Serpent said as he turned off the communication system, leaving the wman to curse at the Hacker.
"Damn!" Sigrid yelled as she removed her helmet and in a fit of rage she threw it out of the window.
"Get that thing started immediately!" Sigrid said in an angry tone as she walked towards the window where the 2nd key could be seen and jumped off of the railing using her Honkai arm as a manner to soften her landing.
"My oh My, what do have here, a stray kitten entering this facility?" Came the voice of Rita Rosswisse.
"You know, I wonder why does a Brit like you have a German surname?" Sigrid asked in a questioning manner.
"That's for me to know and You stray kitten to find out." Rita said as she charged at Sigrid who flashed a smirk, and lighting coursed through her.
"That's what I'll do." Sigrid said as she charged at Rita with a Superman Punch infused with Electricity.
Meanwhile
25m off of the Beverly's base
"Damn, that place sure is locked tight, and it looks like one of those Medieval movies conventions." Kevin said in a hush tone.
"It sure looks looks like it." Ben said in agreement.
"What do we do? It's not like we can just barge in and attack them head on." Gwen said as she looked a the sentries that were in similar fashion to the one they faced Earlier.
Many of them had similar weapons as the "Knight" they fought, from greatswords to Large bows.
"I don't think those are regular "knightly" weapons Kevin, do you recall what one of those arrows did to Gwen's barrier?" Ben asked reminding Kevin of what the "Knight" from earlier, managed to do to Gwen's barrier.
"Don't need to remind me." Gwen said as she tiredly shook her head.
"Hello." The team suddenly froze in fright, as they jumped up and looked at the direction of where the voice came from, so they looked above them.
They saw a boy of about 12 years old, with black hair and pale skin, was wearing what looked like a body-glove with the upper body colored red and the body-glove's fingers were colored red.
And he looked at them with a bored uninterested look in his face.
"So you are the guests mom, told me about, and I'll say I'm not impressed at all." The boy said in a dismissive tone.
"Your mom?" Kevin asked dumbly.
"Yeah, she told me to take you to her so... let's get going, she's waiting." The kid told them.
"Before we go, do you have name? We can't go and call you kid all night, now can we?" Gwen asked the boy who simply let out a bored sigh.
"Guess you do have a point, the name's Max, now let's get going mom's waiting for you three." the Boy said as he leaped off of the tree branch and onto the ground without making a single thud.
"Now come." Max said as he began to lead the way.
"What about those "Knights"? Aren't they going to attack us?" Ben asked Max who looked at him and simply shrugged.
"The Revenants? No they aren't going to attack you unless I or mom ordered them to." Max told the trio, who while they couldn't trust they boy the stood ready for anything, that may be hinted as a trap.
"You need to calm down, if mom wanted you dead, she would have done that herself, now come wasted time is money that is ill spent." Max told the trio as he walked passed them and led the way towards his "mother".
"What do you guys think?" Kevin asked.
"I've got no idea" Ben said as he raised his shoulders.
"If we wanna know what happened to the citizens of the town I think is best if we follow the kid." Gwen said as she began to follow Max into the power building.
"Are you coming or what?" Max said loudly enough for the trio to hear, of whom nodded at each other and began to followed Max inside the building where his "Mother" was waiting.
"Hmm." Beverly hummed to herself as she looked at the oncoming trio of Ben, Gwen and Kevin through the eyes of the Revenants.
To say that she was surprised earlier was a bit redundant as she was... shocked, for the lack of better words, to see that the cousin that had been dead for 11 years in her world was alive and prancing around, and seemed that things here were much more different that she had realized at first.
"*Cough* Don't think you will get away with this, scum. *Cough*" Said a 12 feet tall alien with a white body, purple head, four eyes on the head and another pair of four eyes on the chest, along with black hands and legs.
The Highbreed had been one of the 3 Lieutenants who served the commander of this base, that had been charged in creating Xenocites, for their army and to start the invasion of this back water garden world, and for the months that he had stationed here things were going smoothly.
But things went awry when this human strange human female appeared through a portal and began wrecking havoc in the base, and the the Xenocites grunts that they had made where slaughtered to the last by the females greatsword, and it was as if she never cared if these Xenotices were possessing human hosts, and then they began to change back to their human form, they became leaner but also they increased in height some were about 213cm and other 365 cm in height, and their weapons consisted of a large greatswords or greatbows that when launched at their targets seemed to "infect" more of the grunts.
And shortly enough this... "woman" if he could call her that managed to fight against him and his compatriots.
The first one to fall was the commander of the base who saw the appearance of this woman as the cause of this mayhem, she brought up her sword and as fast as they could blink, she tore the commander in half.
then were the three lieutenants, on was impaled to death, the other was sucked of all of his life as she stabbed him in the chest, the third had thorns sprouting from every appendage his body and bled to death and became like a large bush of thorns after the woman had thrown a dagger him.
Lastly him, with out having enough time to retaliate she stabbed him in the stomach, and as if intending mock she spared, she lifted him and "glued" him to the buildings walls and began to suck away his life slowly.
And now this... "Monster" that crawled from the deepest pit of the underworld looked at him with a devious smile.
"*Chuckle* as if you can do anything, from where you stand. Besides I think I've kept you alive long enough to have grown bored." The monster chuckled as she clicked her fingers and the Highbreed began to scream in pain as he felt being torn apart piece by piece, and the cocoon engulfed him utterly, and his world turn black.
After the Solium that engulfed the Highbreed returned back to Blood Dance, Beverly began to think how she'd meet face the Trio that Max had been bringing to her.
Could she test them in battle? After all earlier they were caught off guard.
Perhaps she could join them just like that?
Or Maybe turn them into Revenants?
"Hmmm decisions, decision, decision." Beverly muttered to herself as she began to concoct an Idea on how to gain their trust
"Alright, here we are." Max said as he led the trio inside.
And what they saw was a bit odd and a really stark contrast with how the building looked on the outside.
Inside they saw those "knights" some tall as Humungosaur and some were about 7' in height.
"This is like a more hardcore Medieval convention than the forever knights." Kevin said in a whispering tone.
"You can say that again." Ben said in agreement.
"Why hello there." Came a female voice, causing the three to look up and see a Woman leaning on the railing above she had jet black hair, pale skin, red eyes like rubies, and on her right cheek was a grid-like pattern tattoo that followed to her neck, she was wearing some sort of a suit of armor that seemed to fit to her body like a piece of cloth, and to her back was a Large Greastsword with red edges and black core, and the handle was black and long meaning that it was Zweihänder.
"Well then... how about we have a proper discussion, hmmm?" The Woman in front of them asked as she clicked her fingers and everything dropped dead, and dissolved into some strange red matter that "Returned" to the woman above them.
"Who and What are you?" Gwen as First asked wondering who this woman in front of them was.
"I... I am Beverly Tennyson, I am the Herrscher of Blood." The Woman responded making some furrowed eyebrows from Ben and Gwen.
"Do you guys have some sort of an extended family, or something?" Kevin asked with confusion evident in his tone, as he doesn't recall Ben and Gwen having any sort of cousins or the likes.
"I don't think so, it may just be a coincidence." Ben responded.
"He's right, you know, I am not of this reality." Beverly responded as she leaped from the railing and fell to the ground while kneeling and a thud could be heard
And as she got up from the railing Beverly looked at them, with a cocky smirk she looked at them.
"So. what would like to know?" Beverly asked them and vicious mischief could be seen in the woman's eyes, it felt as if she was judging their worth and whether or not should she be done with them.
After all if the the "Knight" from earlier managed to best the three of them, then would this "woman" in front of them best them without even trying?
