I don't Own Neither Ben 10 nor Honkai Impact
Somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
"Oh dear." Said a man in his mid 40s, as he looked at the screen like image in front of him depicting events of the timeline of Ben prime.
He had green eyes, and slick swiped back black hair, he wore a typical 1950s outfit consisting of a dark yellow vest, black shoes and pants, along neck tie, lab coat, and a green tinted glasses.
This man was Professor Paradox a simple time traveler who works as the maintainer of the universe's timeline.
"This cannot be good." Said the man, as he looked at the Honkai Beasts tearing their way through civilians.
"I see that the Honkai have made their way into your universe, also?" Came a young male voice causing Paradox to look behind him to see a Young man somewhere in his early 20s. He has very long gray hair and fuchsia eyes with green pupils. He wears a black polo, golden hoop earrings, a white sash, white boots, a dark gray glove, and loose gray jeans.
"I beg you pardon but... May I ask who you are young man?" Asked Paradox as he looked at the young man with a curious gaze, considering that he usually knows everything that's about to happen.
"I am sorry if I startled you sir. Though my name is simply Su, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance professor." The young man replied with a courtly bow.
"I can say the same. Although I am rather worried about the rather... interesting chain of events that have been, with the arrival of, if I am to throw a guess, Your realities' version of Ben Tennyson." Paradox said, earning a nod from Su.
"Indeed, and it would appear that The Will of Honkai has used the presence of Beverly and made an "Anchor", if you will, to your reality." Su replied.
"Sounds like quite the tale." Said Paradox with humor in his tone.
"If you would like we can discuss it in further detail. Though I don't think that you have any sort of chairs where we can talk." Su said with a small smile.
"Perhaps." Paradox Replied.
"So... She's gone?" Theresa asked Himeko.
Theresa despite being 46 years old, the diminutive principal of St. Freya looked like a child of about 13 years old.
She wore a brownish black dress, with the Schicksal's coat of arms on the sides of the lower part of the Dress., and black shoes.
Though People could be forgiven if they thought that she and Kiana were related due to them looking alike with their Silver white hair and bright sea blue colored eyes.
"The Overseer has declared Beverly M.I.A." Himeko said as she powered some whisky into the glasses in front of them.
"That can mean two things, either Grandpa thinks that Beverly is alive or..." Theresa was about to say.
"Or that she's dead." Himeko finished for Theresa.
"Quite." Said Theresa in agreement, as she picked up the glass of Whisky and took a sip, and quickly spat it out.
"How do you even drink this swill?" Asked Theresa as she looked at the glass with discust.
"You get used to it over time, and it often feels like like drinking coffee. But you damage your liver in the process." Himeko said in a joking manner.
"You know that isn't something to joke about you dumb Bimbo!" Theresa reprimanded as she pointed her index finger at Himeko.
"I know." Himeko said as she downed her glass with a single go.
Elsewhere
Somewhere in a remote place within the depths of the Sea of Quanta a portal opened and the 2nd Divine Key came out of it and stopped in front of what looked like a Tomb, and in front of it a suit of armor stood in front of it with greatsword stabbed to the ground.
The Suit of armor itself was made out of Solium.
The Helm's eye sockets glowed a dark burnt orange light, a white half cape was hanging by the right side of the armored suit with a burning moth insignia on it.
And as the Suit of armor saw Kevin walking out of the 2nd Key, and picked up the blade and entered a Schlüssel stance and he looked at Kevin with restrained anger visible in it's burning eyes.
And behind him in the entrance to the Tomb was a woman's statue who looked to be plunging a great sword onto a Honkai Dragon.
"I told both you, Su, or anyone else to never come here again." The Suit of armor told Kevin with a hint of hostility in it's tone.
"I know what you said Michael, but you know as good as me that things aren't what they used to be after the collapse or after my locking in the sea of Quanta." Kevin told, the now named, Michael who lowered his blade and turned and looked at the statue as if he was looking for a response.
"You know, that Himeko wouldn't want you to waste yourself away for something that you blame yourself away." Kevin told Michael who simply chuckled as the helm melted away revealing short brown hair with greying lines.
As Michael turned around he revealed his face.
The man was ghostly pale, as if it hadn't seen the sun in ages, heterochromatic eyes, one Green and the other amber, and three scratches scar running across his face, making him look haggard.
And those eyes were that of a tired man.
Tired of Fighting.
Tired of Killing.
Tired of it all.
But... there were still embers, just enough to keep him going.
"Why are you here really, Kevin?" Asked Michael shooting the Kaslana primogenitor a questioning look.
"I want your help the Honkai are again on the move, there have been sightings of Herrschers, the 2nd one had awakened in 2000, 16 years later the 3rd Herrscher woke up. What do you think, will happen next Michael?" Kevin asked the man.
"More will come." He responded with a tired tone.
"So... will you come and help me?" Asked Kevin.
"Very well, But don't think I will be doing this for you Kevin. I am doing this for Himeko." Michael said as he walked passed Kevin and onto the 2nd Divine Key.
With Durandal
In a café Bianca Astagine sat there looking blankly at a cup of coffee, she had been given the news by Otto about the intrusion into the facility made by World Serpent operative called Ravager who's mission was to retrieve the 2nd Divine Key 3 days.
"Not again." Durandal said to herself in a quiet tone seeing that another of her friends was lost due to that Infernal machine.
"You seem rather troubled." Came a male voice causing Bianca to look up and se face to face with Otto who was wearing some casual clothing.
"Overseer?" Bianca asked.
"Indeed. Though It's not myself that you should worry about about, you on the other hand look like you have seen better days." Otto remarked as he sat down.
"You can say that." Bianca said as she took a sip off of her mug.
"I know where you are coming from. Indeed the loss of two experienced Valkyries like Beverly and Rita is great loss to us, however we cannot let their loss to put us in a quagmire, as I believe that they would want us to continue on with our mission to protect humanity." Otto said in consoling tone which made Bianca take a deep breath and look at the man.
"I... guess you are right Overseer, but knowing that two of my friends are lost in God knows where just..." Bianca trailed off not knowing the right word to use.
"Makes you feel loss? Anguish? Despair?" Otto said as he gave Bianca a list of words to choose from.
"I guess all of the above. I simply pray that they are alright." Bianca said as she finished her mug of coffee as her thoughts began to drift somewhere, recalling her time she spent in the Imaginary Tree.
"Could it be possible for me to travel to other worlds?" Bianca thought to herself as she recalled the training with Su.
Bellwood
Honkaiverse
These past few days haven't been easy for Tennyson family to say the least, both Carl and Sandra dealing with the disappearance of their daughter in their own ways.
Sandra looked like she hadn't slept in days, as shown by the bags in her eyes and disheveled hair.
And next to her was Natalie trying to console her.
"You know Natalie?" Sandra asked Natalie who looked at her.
"Yeah?" Natalie asked.
"I think I just realized how hard it felt for both you and Frank felt when you received the news when Gwen was killed in that Honkai attack years ago." Sandra said as she rubbed her eyes.
"Quite, and to be honest, it still hurts to think about. But at least your daughter is still alive." Natalie told Sandra who simply chuckled bitterly.
"Yeah, still alive... reported Missing in Action. You know that has double meaning? A way to instill some false hope that one day your baby girl will return alright, and on the other hand, it's just a blatant lie." Sandra said as she let out a sigh.
"You can't keep doing this to yourself Sandra, it hasn't even been two weeks since Beverly disappeared, and you can't just outright consider your daughter dead." Natalie told Sandra.
"You are right, but it really hurts just thinking about it, the thought of what your child is currently going through whatever terrible thing eating at your very being." Sandra replied.
"I know it hurts but you have to stay strong if you really believe your daughter to alive." Natalie said as she placed a hand on Sandra's shoulder.
" I don't know Nat, I honestly don't know." Sandra said.
In a Bar Carl and Frank were standing across from one another with a glass of hard liquor in front of them.
"So... How are you deal with it?" Frank asked his brother.
"Honestly Frank, it feel a bit hard, both Sandra and I knew what Beverly was getting herself into when she joined Schicksal all those years ago and she had our support, however... it feels a bit hard akin to a..." Car said but for a moment stopped as he couldn't find the proper words.
"Like being hit with a freighter?" Frank said jokingly.
"Yeah, I just hope that she's alright. Cheers?" Carl said as he raised his glass.
"Cheer, bro." Frank said as he and Carl clinked their glasses.
With Beverly and Team Ben
Do you have a car which you can give me a ride?" Beverly asked the team.
"Yeah, but that big "Knight" you let out there made a giant hole and it is stuck there." Kevin said with an angry tone.
"You seem awfully close to that hunk of steel." Max commented in a joking manner.
"Hey I build that "Hunk of Steel" with my own two hands you brat." Kevin said.
"Do you have a car? Because Max can't go flying unless you want the Air Force to go and intercept a Giant Dragon." Beverly replied with a bored tone.
"Can you fix it?" Kevin asked with a daring tone.
"As a matter of fact, yes, and I will give it an upgrade." Beverly replied.
"Ok, let's see what you can do then." Kevin said as he walked passed Ben and Gwen and led Max and Beverly to the car.
Seeing this Gwen walked up to Ben.
"Do you think she's a threat Ben?" Gwen asked her cousin.
"I don't Gwen we will have to wait and see, as I don't think she's much of a threat despite her... messy measures." Ben replied as he shot a look at Beverly.
"Are you two coming or what?" Asked Kevin.
"Yeah, Yeah." Ben said as he followed up.
"This sure has been a long night." Gwen muttered to herself as she too followed after them.
However none of them knew of the Chaos and Destruction that was happening in downtown Bellwood.
