Silence.

She had sensed something odd in her home.

Unnatural silence awaited Ophis as she walked on the floor of the Dimensional Gap, and she walked towards 4 figures that she did not know. 3 of the figures were perfect copies of each other, while 1 seemed to be a young human in shape.

She saw Great Red.

A giant dragon of untold power, laying on it's side, unmoving, from either death or exhaustion. It had wounds and strange papers all over it's body, so she just walked towards her sworn enemy with a neutral smile on her face. She had built armies to help her kill this dragon, and it would seem that was unneeded.

"Oh... Ophis... do..."

Still alive, she could hear the rumble of it's voice. As such, she just walked closer towards the group that had taken down the dragon. She saw their bodies were not human when she approached, but instead they were made up of shadowy-rainbow energy, the same energy that given birth to her long ago. She glanced at the 3 large rainbow men, and their empty black eyes just analyzed her as she walked by, and she then glanced at the young male figure that had those same eyes, but radiated with a great power.

"Red, how does it feel to be about to die?" Ophis got ready to finish the dragon off.

Right now he was weakened, it was her perfect chance to use her own power to kill this dragon for good. She would then send these energy beings away if they started to cause noise for her, but they had been silent so far, so she doubted they would cause her any trouble in the future if she just ignored them.

Ophis was kicked in the face.

She took a kick right to the eyes that sent her flying before she could blink, having not sensed any killing intent before the blow struck her.

It actually hurt.

That was the shocking part, she felt actual pain as if her skull had been caved in. She bounced off of the floor of the gap several times, and saw that the 3 larger male figures had transformed. Their bodies morphed to become more toadlike, and they moved in unison towards her. The smaller figure had jumped high into the air.

Senjutsu.

Ophis hopped back to her feet and dodged a punch from 1 of the larger men, she would rather not take another one of those attacks to again.

Her cheek indented anyway.

The attack missed, but she felt the same level of force that she had taken from the kick earlier, and was knocked flying away. She hadn't sensed anything that would have let her even know HOW she had just taken damage, no magical energy or anything. By the time she had recovered and summoned her great reserves of power, she saw one of the large men that she was fighting sink into HER shadow.

'I can't move.'

The second he sank into her shadow, Ophis noticed that she lost complete control of her ability to move her body. She took kick to the face and the stomach from two of the energy clones, but the second she was sent flying, the boy who jumped earlier landed on her and slammed her back down to the floor.

The boy crossed his fingers.

He opened his mouth and wordlessly said something.

*POOF*

1000 clones of the younger male appeared all around her, and she still couldn't move her body to fight back. The energy man was still inside of her shadow, preventing her movements. She was kicked by several of the younger male clones. These attacks did little damage to her at first, but it wasn't long before she was knocked high up into the void.

2,000 punches.

4,000 kicks.

When she was finally sent back flying towards the ground, she had been assaulted by over 6,000 attacks and the damage had added up. She felt her body became capable of movement again when the third man came out of her shadow, his flat body returning to it's previous form. She unleashed waves of her power to pop all of the clones of the boy as they descended on her from above, leaving only the original behind.

"Enough, that is enough."

She pointed her hand at the toad-like men, and she unleashed torrents of magical energy at them. Her magic formed into black snakes that multiplied.

*POOF*

Her eyes widened when her snakes were sealed away, the 2 men she could see ahead of her had sealed away her attacks before they reached them, with seals appearing on the ground where he attacks had been sent to. She gripped her fist, and made her magic explode inside of the seals, but they escaped the explosions by rushing towards her.

She was ready.

She saw the third one going for her shadow again.

The two in front of her went through strange hand movements, before one of them shot oil towards her, and the one next to him started to shoot powerful flames. The two attacks combined before they hit her, and she flew up into the void when she felt an unreal heat burn. The location of her shadow changed with the changing light, and she was frozen mid-air. She looked to see the shadow, her shadow, had come in contact with the third man, who had fused into her shadow again.

"Don't... let them touch it..."

Great Red was trying to help her, she clicked her teeth in annoyance at the help. She had already figured out that she should keep her own shadow in her line of sight. She saw the young man slam both of his feet into her stomach, and the two of them slammed into the ground again.

'They don't leave any openings.' Ophis hated this.

This teamwork was unreal, all 4 of her opponents seemed to be in perfect sync with each other. 2 of the older men kept her busy so the other one could go to her shadow, and the young man kept her from escaping and maintained himself as a destruction.

"Don't let it touch it's stomach!"

Ophis' eyes widened when she heard Great Red shout out that warning, because she saw the young man standing on her go for his stomach with his hand. She took a breath, before she breathed out flames that knocked the man's far away from her. The man fused with her shadow started to come undone once more. With her movement returned to her for the moment, Ophis stood up.

Nope.

She was knocked by to the ground by the two older men, and her blood stained the floor of the gap. She looked at her own blood with her eyes widened, her nose bleeding and her forehead bleeding from their combined assault on her. It wasn't just pain anymore, they were causing real damage to her with their physical attacks now.

She flew.

She flew away when she noticed she could still move, because she had to escape. This wasn't a situation where she could win easily by flexing her power, they perfect countered her. Their physical strength was enhanced to the point she could be injured, and even though her injuries were already healing, she knew it wouldn't be long before they did damage to her that could prove fatal.

She heard the clacking of their sandles.

'They caught up!' Ophis saw the three men had caught up to her.

She swung her leg at them.

They dodged her, as if they had sensed her attack coming before she even thought about launching it. She flew up into the void, but two of them grabbed her by the ankles and slammed her back into the floor.

The third one created a spiralling sphere in his hand.

Then it grew and grew until it was the size of a small mountain, and even more dense than it was large. The two other men let go of her when he descended on her from above. She slammed her hands on the ground and got her magic ready. She stopped when she saw she didn't have enough time, so she turned around and threw her magic at the man making the attack. She only breathed a sigh of relief for a second when she knocked the man a distance away, and his attack exploded far enough away from her that she only took minimul damage from it.

The three men looked at each other, as the young man joined them, having caught up.

They charged after her.

She dodged one of them, and she dodged the second one, before her eyes widened when she got kicked in the back of the head by the first one. She stumbled forward, and took a fist to the gut by the third one. She pushed all of them away from her with her magic power, but it was pointless, because she felt a power that pushed back HER magic rage out of the young man. His hand was on his stomach.

He was touching his stomach.

Bubbling reddish black energu emerged from his body and formed a cloak around him, and immeasurable power erupted out of him.

"Ah... it's... infinite?" Ophis had never thought she would ever saw that about an opponent before, but she couldn't sense the end of this energy. Tails started to form out of the young man, and his body started to chape shape. Rainbow bones shot out of his body and formed a fox-like armor, as his body became more foxline.

9 tails.

Then a roar, a roar that made the 3 men get out of the way so that there was nothing standing between the 9 tailed monster and her. The bone armor across it's body shining as red eyes glared into her soul.

-Later-

Ophis was tossed on the ground.

Barely conscious, she was tossed next to Great Red as the 4 figures returned to their normal selves now that their opponents couldn't fight back against them.

"Ophis."

Great Red tried to speak, but he opened an eye and saw Ophis was barely alive. All of her bones were visibly broken under her flesh, she was covered from head to toe in deep gash marks and burns. Ophis couldn't move even if she wanted to, but the enemies gave off no emotions whatsoever as they just watched the two defeated just lay on the ground. Her wounds were slowly healing now, the foul energy that had attacked her corroding her body from the inside out.

"Ophis."

"Shut... up..." Ophis muttered as she weakly opened one of her eyes.

The three men walked over to Great Red and placed their hands on different spots of his body.

"... Run..."

Ophis gathered what little power she had left at the moment, and started to create a gate.

She glanced over at Great Red, and her eyes widened when she saw his head explode. Replacing the dead dragon's head was a giant sphere of spirals. One of the men had formed the technique inside of Great Red's skull and caused it to explode from the inside out. Ophis looked and saw the young man walking towards her, before he reached out for her head.

He was going to form one of those spinning balls inside of her head.

Ophis didn't have enough magic power to open the gate.

A great magical circle appeared under her body, and she saw Great Red's body glowing. Then just as she was going to be killed, her body sank through the portal created for her.

-Japan-

Ophis slipped through the portal.

Damaged, dying, and on the ground, she was unable to move as the portal closed behind her. She was at the mercy of whatever happened to run across her.

"Hey, are you okay!?"

Ophis could see a young man approaching towards her, having seen her drop out of a portal in the air. She wasn't able to speak or fight him in anyway as he lifted her up and looked over her injuries. As he picked her up and ran off with her in his arms, she looked up and saw the last thing she would see before she passed out.

Whisker marks.

Just like the rainbow young man.
