NOTE: I won't post chapters as often on weekdays mainly because of school. School comes first. I hope you understand. But enough jabbering, let's get this done and over with!
Chapter 5: Not quite Famous
"Cody." Trent said.
I stirred but went to sleep again.
"Cody!" Trent said again.
I finally woke up.
"Huh?" I said.
"It's almost 11 AM. You need to get up." He added.
I guess that's kinda on me for staying up until midnight.
I went to the mess hall. I was eating this dog shit of a food.
Again, I didn't want to starve to death, so I ate anyway.
And I forgot that today we had a challenge. Man I miss the free days we have when we don't do challenges.
Screaming Gophers: Girl Cabin
"Hey Heather." Beth said.
"Hi. How you doing?" Heather asked.
"Good." Beth answered "Can I talk to you? In private?" She asked.
"Sure!" Heather answered.
"Do you have a crush on Cody?" She asked.

Heather was silent. But since she was her friend, she thought that telling her that, she would keep that a secret.
"Yes." Heather said, blushing.
"How long did you have a crush on him for?" Beth asked.
"Since he first came on the island. It was like love at first sight!" She said "But promise not to tell anyone, ok?" Heather asked.
"Ok. Anything for you bestie!" She said.
Confessional
Heather: "Yea I got that out of my chest. But I don't know when to tell Cody. I like Cody. I REALLY do."
End Confessional
"Get ready for the next challenge! Challenge starts now. So hurry up!" Chris said in the speaker.
Me and the boys ran outside. No more Justin tho.
"Today we are going outside to the talent show." Chris said. "There will be three people performing for each of the two teams. Chef will be the the judge. Each performance will be rated 1 to 10 and will be rated by Chef's opinion. The team with the most points win the challenge. If you lose, then one of your teammates will have to go. You will have 2 hours to decide who the preformers will be. Ready, set, start!" Chris explained.
"So who wants to perform?" Gwen asked.
Me, Owen, Beth, and Izzy raised our hand.
"Ok. Owen, let's see your talent." Gwen said.
"I can sing the alphabet in one big word." Owen said.
"Ok let's see it."
"ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZEEEEEEEEED" Owen burped.
"Ewwwwww" All the girls said.
"AWESOME!" The boys said.
"Nope we will pass on that one." Gwen said.
" I can also sing Justin Bieber if you-"
"NO!" Everyone yelled.
"Ok how about Cody have a shot?" Izzy said
Everyone agreed. I won't put what I did, but I will say it when I perform.
"Okay! Times up! Let's start with the Bass. First contestant is...DJ!" Chris exclaimed.
We all were clapping. Even the Gophers.
DJ got a 6/10. Not bad, but not good at the same time.
Next up was Trent.
He was playing a guitar singing Night Changes.
He got a 7/10. Not bad at all. I give him credit for him for singing it beautifully.
Next the Killer Bass again. The next person up was Katie. And she sang the worst song ever. The My Little pony. I knew she was kinda girly, but still.
Nonetheless, She got a 7/10.
I'll skip to my part.
It was my turn. I know what I have in plan...
I went to the stage and sang.
I have often dreamed of a far off place
Where a hero's welcome would be waiting for me
Where the crowds can cheer, when they see my face

Everyone cheered.
"That. Was. AWESOME!" Chris said

Heather: "That was beautiful. I need to make Cody a reward. Hope he likes it!"
End Confessional
In the end, we still lost, but to me, it felt more like a win. If you didn't know, Owen lost for us because of Tyler's yo-yo tricks. I admit yo-yo is satisfying, but burping out the alphabet is way more dope. Sorry Tyler. No hard feelings.
I went into the bathroom and Heather was standing there. But wait...
She was in her bra and panties.
"Here's two rewards, the first one is this." She said, while taking off her bra, and exposing her big breasts.

"I have 9 marshmallows. If you don't get one, you know, get eliminated and never come back. EVER." Chris said. We get the damn point. Sometimes he acts like we have short term memory loss.

"Cody." I went to claim it.

"Bye..." Owen said in a sad voice as he went to the Dock of Shame.
