Disclaimer: I do not own Buffyverse or anything else you may recognize
So this is a sequel to my one-shot 'Helping a soul', but you don't have to read that fic, all you need to know is Tara came to Team Angel (Angel, Cordelia and Doyle) before coming to Sunnydale over her 'Demon' problem and they and Lorne figured out she wasn't Demon, and so she came to Sunnydale and started her romance with Willow a much more confident woman, while Angel and Doyle trashed her dad and brother and sent them packing.
Thank you to Brainstorm Sorcerer for some help with the idea, and Marcus S. Lazarus as a suggestion of theirs gave me this idea.
Anyway, I usually love Buffy, but there are some things I don't like about her, which this one-shot will cover, and I prefer Angel (both the show and character, other than Season 4) so I usually favor him in most situations.
Also, not a Bangel fan, I despise it, so no Bangel here.
For Angel, this takes place between 3x18 and 3x19.
Well, have fun.
Cordelia's heart shattered into a million pieces as she watched Angel disassembling what used to be the crib of his baby boy, Connor, lost forever because of the stupidity of Wesley, who himself she wasn't sure she'd ever see again after his actions.
She loved the boy like he was her own, she herself was only barely holding up, so that she could be Angel's shoulder to cry on over his crippling loss.
Connor was the only son he could ever have, unless the Shanshu came true, which she had doubts about, and he was gone.
Cordelia suddenly felt something in her head, and realized it was a vision, they didn't pain at all after she'd become half-Demon, but this was new, it was so….surreal.
But her awe was replaced with horror at what she saw-
Cordelia was 'inside' her vision, and could see it all like she was there.
She was at an amusement park where a banner read 'Opening Weekend!' There was a large stone gate nearby with lettering over the archway reading 'WILD RIVER ADVENTURE'.
Then the scene changed for Cordelia. Willow was here, in a room, wearing a white blouse, looking at Tara, in a blue shirt, who stood by the window.
Cordelia remembered they had helped Tara 2 years ago, and she'd heard Tara had become part of the Scoobies and Willow's girlfriend, but she'd never met Tara in person after the woman had left LA.
Suddenly, there was a sound of a gunshot and Cordelia looked down to see a guy, who looked familiar for some reason, firing shots at Buffy and Xander. Buffy was hit by and taken down, then the guy fired shots randomly and one shattered the window, going through Tara's heart, and Cordelia covered her mouth in horror.
The blood splattered on Willow's shirt.
"Your shirt…."
And then Tara dropped to the ground, while Willow rushed forward in shock. "Tara?"
Willow grabbed Tara's shoulders, shaking her desperately. "Tara?! Baby?" Willow rolled Tara over, pulling her onto her lap. Tara lay limp in Willow's arms.
Willow was sobbing. "Baby, come on! Get up!"
Willow cried harder as Tara continued not responding. Willow rocked back and forth holding Tara in her lap.
"No... no..."
She continued crying.
Willow lifted her head and bared her teeth. Her face was wet with tears and her eyes were completely black ... then they went completely red.
Cordelia, in that moment, felt a chill run down her spine.
Next moment, Cordelia found herself in a forest, and Willow, now wearing dark clothes with her hair darkened and veins on her face, stood in front of a man, restrained by having his hands and legs tied between two trees.
Cordelia narrowed her eyes and noted it was the same guy who'd fired those shots. She still failed to recognize him, but knew she had seen him before.
But Willow's current state frightened her. She looked too much like Vamp Willow for Cordelia's liking.
"She wasn't your first."
The guy was nervous. "Uh, first who?"
"Tara. She wasn't the first girl you killed."
"I don't know what you're talk-"
"Reveal!"
"I should have strangled you in your sleep."
Cordelia saw another woman arrive, but she looked like a spectre, as she was deathly pale.
"Back when we shared a bed. I should have done the world a favor."
The guy laughed nervously. "It's a trick."
"Why, Warren? You could have just let me go."
The guy, Warren, was pretty freaked and couldn't look at the woman, just at Willow and the surroundings. Willow watched him calmly.
He then begged Willow. "Make it shut up. Make it go away."
The woman said. "It didn't have be like that."
Warren begged Willow. "I'm not kidding!"
"How could you say you loved me, and do that to me?"
Warren suddenly said. "Because you deserved it, bitch!"
Warren finally turned to look at the woman as he yelled at her. But now she was gone.
"Because you liked it", Willow accused rightfully.
"Oh, shut up!"
"You never felt you had the power with her. Not until you killed her."
Cordelia realized what had happened. This Warren guy had murdered his ex-girlfriend too. So attempted murder of Buffy and the murder of Tara weren't his only crimes.
Warren laughed nastily. "Women. You know, you're just like the rest of them. Mind games."
He trembled in fear though, and Cordelia now already knew he was not one to be spared, she hated him so much already.
He had killed Tara, and Cordelia remembered how sweet and kind the woman was even in the short time they'd known each other. Before that, he'd murdered his own ex-girlfriend for dumping him, it sounded like.
This guy was clearly a misogynist.
"You get off on it", Willow moved closer. "That's why you had a mad-on for the Slayer. She was your big O, wasn't she, Warren?"
Warren trembled. "Are you done yet? Or can we talk some more about our feelings?"
He got desperate now. "Help!" Warren begged. "Let me go." He yelled. "Somebody! Help!"
"What's the matter? Thought you wanted to talk."
"No."
"Okay."
Willow opened her hand, revealing the bullet that she took from Buffy's chest earlier.
"I'll talk."
She waved her other hand, and Warren's shirt ripped open.
"What, what are you doing?"
"Shhh."
Warren was seriously freaked. "Hey, hey, I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry."
Willow held the bullet about an inch from Warren's chest, right over his heart. She let go, but the bullet continued to hover in place.
"Wanna know what a bullet feels like, Warren? A real one?" Warren looked nervously down at the bullet, then up at her. "It's not like in the comics."
"No. No."
"I think you need to. Feel it." The bullet slowly started to push its way into Warren's chest.
"Oh god! Stop it!"
"It's not going to make a neat little hole. First, it'll obliterate your internal organs. Your lung will collapse. Feels like drowning."
Warren was strained. "Please! No." Warren was clearly in a lot of pain as the bullet continued penetrating his body.
"When it finally hits your spine, it'll blow your central nervous system."
"Oh please, stop, god! Please-"
Willow got angry. "I'm talking!" Willow lifted a hand and suddenly Warren's lips were sewn shut with large stitches of thread. He could only groan and whimper.
"The pain will be unbearable, but you won't be able to move. Bullet usually travels faster than this, of course. But the dying? It'll seem like it takes forever."
She paused, as if affected by her own words, looking at the little wound on Warren's chest. Warren just grunted and squeezed his eyes shut in pain.
"Something, isn't it?" Willow became pensive. "One tiny piece of metal destroys everything", Warren groaned loudly. "It ripped her insides out ... took her light away. From me. From the world."
Cordelia's heart had already broken for Angel, now it broke for Willow too, she had lost the love of her life forever.
Willow looked Warren in the eye again, re-focusing. He continued trembling, groaning in pain and fear.
"Now the one person who should be here is gone ... and a waste like you gets to live."
Cordelia felt that hit close to home. A good man like Doyle had died, while a waste like Holtz had lived to present day and taken away Angel's son.
"Tiny piece of metal. Can you feel it now?"
Warren continued whimpering in pain.
He was grunting through his sewn-shut mouth.
"I said, can you feel it?" She waved her hand and the stitches disappeared.
"Please! God! I did wrong, I see that now. I need, I need jail! I need ... But you, you don't want this. You're, you're not a bad person. Not like me."
Willow stared at him.
"Willow!"
Cordelia and Willow both looked to see Buffy, Xander and Anya visible a few hundred feet away.
"Oh, and when you get caught, you'll lose them too. Your friends." Warren panted. "You don't want that. I know you're in pain, but-"
"Bored now."
Willow made a casual gesture with one hand. A bolt of magic ripped through Warren and tore the skin off his body in a single piece.
Cordelia was horrified and disgusted. She had seen a lot more disgusting deaths while Demon hunting, but Willow doing this…..she had no words.
In that moment, Cordelia was reminded of Vamp Willow, now Willow was just like that but a lot more powerful.
Yet she felt satisfied, and did not feel ashamed of it. Warren did deserve to die. And he deserved this much more brutality than this too.
Then Cordelia was somewhere else, and saw Dawn running to the door which was locked, while Buffy faced Willow.
"Don't. We're all friends."
Buffy begged Willow. "Willow, I know what you want to do, but you have to listen to me. The forces inside you are incredibly powerful. They're strong ... but you're stronger", Dawn cowered in the corner. "You have to remember you're still Willow."
Willow scoffed. "Let me tell you something about Willow." She advanced towards Buffy. "She's a loser. And she always has been. People picked on Willow in junior high school, high school, up until college. With her stupid mousy ways. And now? Willow's a junkie."
"I can help."
"The only thing Willow was ever good for..." Willow paused, dropping the bitter sarcasm and grew pensive. "...the only thing I had going for me ... were the moments - just moments - when Tara would look at me and I was wonderful." Willow turned grim. "And that will never happen again."
Cordelia didn't even realize when the tears had started running down her cheeks, and she didn't even raise a hand to wipe them because she was that focused on what was going on.
Buffy tried to get through to Willow. "I know this hurts. Bad. But Willow, if you let loose with the magicks, it will never end."
Willow smiled nastily. "Promise?"
"You don't want that."
"Why not?"
Dawn moved away from the wall and approached them.
"Because you lose everything. Your friends, your self... Willow, if you let this control you then the world goes away. And all of us with it. There's so much to live for", Buffy turned forceful now. "Will, there's too much-"
Willow scoffed. "Oh, please! This is your pitch? Buffy, you hate it here as much as I do. I'm just more honest about it."
"That's not true."
"You're trying to sell me on the world. The one where you lie to your friends when you're not trying to kill them? And you screw a vampire just to feel?"
Angel hadn't met Buffy again after their first meeting post her resurrection. So which Vampire was this one?
"And insane asylums are the comfy alternative? This world? Buffy, it's me. I know you were happier when you were in the ground. The only time you were ever at peace in your whole life is when you were dead. Until Willow brought you back You know, with magic?"
Cordelia looked around as the place changed to the Magic Box.
Buffy and Dawn were disoriented as Willow said. "Oh. Sorry, the trip can be kind of rough...if you're, you know, not me."
Xander stared at them in surprise as Dawn collapsed.
"Dawn!"
Buffy knelt next to Dawn. Willow turned, looking at two guys, and Cordelia recognized one of them as Jonathan.
"Jonathan. Andrew", they looked scared. "You boys like magic, don't you?"
She smiled as magic started to flow around her.
"Abracadabra."
She lifted both her hands toward them. Streams of purple-black magic flowed from her hands and toward them. A breeze ruffled her hair. Lightning flashed.
Then the magic stopped before reaching them.
Cordelia wondered why Willow was after these two, but the way she spoke their names, it sounded personal. Perhaps they worked with Warren, but she was surprised Jonathan worked with that bastard.
He'd never stoop so low.
This Andrew guy, she didn't know him at all.
So, Willow would kill these two guys too? They weren't involved with Tara's death though, but it looked like this dark magic had turned Willow crazy.
Then Cordelia saw herself in the backroom of the Magic Box where Giles lay, barely conscious.
Willow looked like she was gaining power.
"It's incredible." Willow panted. "I mean, I am so juiced ... Giles, it's like ... no ... mortal person has ... ever had ... this much power. Ever. It's like I, I'm connected to everything ... I can feel ... it feels like ... I ... I can feel..." She paused and her smile begam to fade. "...everyone. Oh. Oh my God. All the emotion. All the pain. No, it, it's too much. It's just too much."
Giles weakly said. "Willow ... It doesn't have to be ... like that. You ... you can stop it."
Willow was bent over now with her hands on the floor as if in pain. "Yeah. I, I can. I have to stop this." She got up. "I'll make it go away."
Cordelia realized what Willow had seen. Whatever was happening to her, she'd seen the pain and suffering of the whole world. Cordelia had experienced it herself so she could tell.
And unlike her, it looked like Willow didn't want to help, she wanted to destroy everything.
"Willow..."
"Oh, you poor bastards!"
Magic began to swirl around Willow and she lifted into the air. Lightning flashed around her body.
"Your suffering has to end."
A cloud of magic like a tornado gathered around her and she disappeared.
"No..."
Cordelia was then in the same room, but it looked time had passed as Anya knelt next to a now awake but dazed Giles.
"It was ... It was the only way. I thought we ... there'd be a chance ... now ... I know where Willow is. She's going to finish it."
"Finish what?" Anya asked.
"The world."
Anya stared at Giles.
"Oh my God…" Cordelia trailed off, horrified at all she had just witnessed. She'd have been awed by the fact that her powers had grown so much she could be 'in' her vision and see all she needed to see rather than just some cryptic flashes, but the stuff she had seen killed all awe she felt.
"What happened?" Angel asked, turning to Cordelia, her face telling him everything. "A vision?"
Cordelia realized she'd been in her visions for a long time but in the real word, barely a second or two had passed. These new powers were something.
"Not just the trailer this time, I saw the whole movie", Cordelia quipped and said. "We need to talk about this."
Angel, as much as he was hurting right now, knew this was important. Besides, he had to learn to live again, helping someone from Cordelia's vision would be a good start.
"Tell me."
"So, let me get this straight", Angel said, sitting down with Cordelia, Lorne and Groo. "This Warren guy kills Tara, Willow ends up getting a lot of dark magic-"
"And dresses like a skank, you know, her Vampire doppelganger", Cordelia reminded him.
"Skins Warren alive, goes after these Jonathan and Andrew people while fighting her own friends, and then tries to destroy the world", Angel concluded it all.
"Yeah, that about sums it up", Cordelia nodded.
"Sounds pretty terrifying, vision-lady, world ending terrifying, must prevent it", Lorne spoke up.
"How do we do it though?" Groo wondered.
"You have anything that can help us?" Angel asked.
"Well, the Warren guy looked familiar, I don't know, maybe he was in my school", Cordelia walked to the laptop and opened the site for Sunnydale High, searching for any 'Warren', and finally found him. "There he is- Warren Mears!"
Angel, Lorne and Groo walked behind Cordelia, with Angel noting the face. "I'll keep it in mind."
"And I know Jonathan, let's see, maybe Andrew's here too", Cordelia wondered, and searched for him, finding him at last. "Andrew Wells….and he's the brother of Tucker Wells."
Angel started. "And this Tucker-"
"He set those hellhounds on the prom", Cordelia reminded and Angel nodded.
"Must be a special kind of evil to do that", Lorne commented.
"So, where can we find them?" Angel wondered. "Might have to talk to Buffy."
"There was one place I saw before seeing the whole mess", Cordelia told Angel. "There was a large stone gate there with lettering over the archway reading 'WILD RIVER ADVENTURE'. And a banner read 'Opening Weekend'."
She looked at Angel. "Maybe I was shown that because something will happen there."
"All right, I'm going", Angel said, immediately getting up and putting on his trench coat. "Will take a few hours to reach Sunnydale."
"You sure you don't want us to come with you?" Cordelia inquired, speaking for herself, Lorne and Groo all.
"I can handle it", Angel assured as he walked out.
"Angel", Angel turned back to Cordelia. "You have to kill this guy. It may not be the best option, but its for the world, plus, he murdered his ex, so his hands aren't clean."
"Wasn't planning on sparing him", Angel assured her while walking off.
Next night
Angel finally managed to find the amusement park from Cordelia's vision and hid in a corner, since yeah, something big was happening here.
Buffy was fighting Warren, who seemed to be enhanced to superhuman level. Angel had to time it right to kill that guy.
Andrew and Jonathan were there too.
Jonathan then leapt at Buffy and whispered something to her before she threw him off, and then Buffy and Warren fought before Warren sent Buffy flying off into a bench, and walking to her, raised his fist, when Buffy grabbed a pouch from his belt and shattered it on the ground, with blue light flashing and suffusing Warren before leaving him and smashing to the smashed orbs.
Warren was dazed as Buffy stood up.
"Good night, bitch."
Buffy did a serious spin-kick that sent Warren flying back and tumbling to the ground near his comrades. He climbed slowly to his feet, looking scared.
Buffy advanced to him. "You're nothing but a sad little boy, Warren. But it's time you grow up, and pay for what you've done.
Warren panted. "Get away from me!" He pulled off his jacket, revealing an apparatus strapped to his body, including a pair of silvery tanks on his back. "I swear to god I'm gonna take you down. You piece of..."
But he didn't get to do anything else as he was grabbed in a strong chokehold by Angel, and Buffy's eyes widened in shock on seeing him.
"Angel?"
"You like hitting and killing women, Warren? Make you feel like a man?" Angel snarled as Warren struggled to look up at him, and screamed in horror on seeing his Vamp face. "I wonder how this will make you feel."
Then there was a sickening crack as Warren fell down, dead, and Buffy looked down at the body in horror before looking back up at Angel.
"What did you do?"
"I saved the world", Angel told her, taking his normal face again.
"You killed my friend!" Andrew angrily ranted at Angel and took out some kind of magic ball to throw at him, but Angel grabbed his hand, breaking it as Andrew started crying in pain and fell to the ground, holding his hand, and Angel threw off his jacket to see a jetpack there too, and shattered it with a kick as Andrew was out.
"Why didn't I get one of those?" Jonathan wondered, feeling betrayed, as the sound of police sirens were heard.
Angel turned around and ran off as Buffy, after some seconds' consideration, ran after him.
Buffy soon reached an alley, looking around, then heard a sound behind her and turned to see Angel standing there.
"How could you?" Buffy asked, angry. "You just killed him…."
"I did what I had to do", Angel simply told her. "If you can't understand-"
"Understand? You snapped his neck when the police were coming to arrest him!" Buffy snapped.
"Right, when would they do it? After he flew off?" Angel asked her.
"You could have just stopped him", Buffy pointed out.
"I don't expect you to understand why I did what I did", Angel said, seeing how much she seemed different from before now. And he didn't like this new person he was seeing. The old Buffy was on the fence about human lives too, but there was something different about Buffy here.
"You're a murderer now", Buffy snarled, and in her anger, threw a punch, sending Angel staggering back.
She tried to punch again but Angel blocked and punched back, now sending Buffy staggering back as both looked at each other sadly, but Buffy was angry.
With a roar, she tried to punch again as Angel blocked, and then she tried to elbow in a spin motion as Angel jumped back to avoid, then tried to backhand her but she grabbed his hand and threw him to the other side.
Angel knew he had to play it right. Buffy was a Slayer, he was a Vampire, she was stronger, faster and more skilled. He wasn't a slouch in any of those departments but she was better than him there.
He did know though, that he was more focused than her, and more intelligent. Buffy wasn't dumb, she was smart, but he used his (dead and decayed) brain for critical thinking too, which Buffy didn't do as much.
And she was emotional, he just had to play on it all to win here.
Angel rolled away to avoid Buffy's foot and flipped back up, then side-stepping to block a punch, smacked her face, sending her back.
"Sloppy", he quipped as Buffy glared and flipped at him, but he managed to jump to the side to avoid it and as she landed, he spin kicked her away.
Buffy then roared and rammed into Angel, sending him flying off and crashing into a trash can, and she charged with a kick but he picked up the lid of the trash can and blocking her kick, pushed her back, getting up.
"You're weak", Angel scoffed at her. "You don't have it in you."
Buffy flipped in the air and spin kicked Angel's chest, sending him crashing back, and tried to smack him but he blocked and kneed her gut before weaving out of the way.
Buffy managed to punch him back still, but he ducked and weaved away to avoid the next blow. "You're no hero."
Angel blocked a kick before Buffy flipped and kicked with her other foot, sending him back.
As she leapt, Angel jumped out of the way and kicked Buffy into the wall. He was still angry himself due to Holtz having taken his son, and he was a human, so any arguments about human justice would piss him off, and he knew Buffy would spew one of those.
"YOU DON'T HAVE IT IN YOU TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES!" Angel screamed at Buffy as she tried to punch but he blocked and gave her two punches before backhanding her to the ground.
He tried to kick but she grabbed his foot and made him fall down, but Angel grabbed her neck with his feet and pinned her down then. "I did what I had to do, I don't feel good about it, but it had to be done. Don't pretend you understand my reasons."
Angel then let Buffy go and ran off, and as she got up, Angel was gone.
Angel had calmed down now and realized whatever his reasons, he shouldn't have screamed at Buffy. Of course she'd hit him first but he was a noble chick and apologized.
He knocked at the door and Buffy opened it, frowning at him. "What do you want?"
"To explain."
Buffy opened the door fully, allowing Angel to come in. Willow, Tara, Dawn and Xander were there too.
"Heard you committed murder, eh Dead Boy?" Xander asked but was ignored.
"Hey Tara", Angel greeted her.
"Angel, hi", Tara got up and hugged him, and he hugged her back. "I know this is 2 years late, but I'm really sorry about Doyle."
Angel and Tara shared a sad look at his mention as he nodded. "Thank you."
Angel then shared a nod with Willow and a wave with Dawn.
"Tell me, why?" Buffy asked Angel, her arms folded. "He was human, Angel-"
"And that means he doesn't deserve to die?" Angel inquired to Buffy. "Humans can be as bad as Demons, even worse. I know he murdered his ex."
"Katrina", Willow whispered and Angel nodded.
"He deserved to die."
Buffy argued. "But there are laws for humans, people like him-"
"Oh yeah, laws will be really helpful when we're all dead!" Angel snapped.
Now there were confused and shocked looks all around, and everyone looked at Angel questioningly.
"What do you mean, Angel?" Dawn asked him.
"Cordy, she had a vision", Angel revealed, looking at all of them, then at Buffy. "If Warren was still alive, he would kill Tara and almost kill you."
Tara's eyes widened in horror as Willow walked to her from behind and hugged her tightly, assuring herself Tara was still there while Dawn grasped Tara by one hand and Buffy by the other, and Xander looked horrified himself.
After two minutes, Dawn asked. "How would we all die?"
"Willow", Angel looked at Willow guiltily, hoping he didn't hurt her. "She is driven to grief and rage by Tara's death. She absorbs dark magic, it corrupts her as she gets revenge."
Now Willow's eyes were wide in horror, yet it made sense to her.
Xander started. "Come on, Willow would never-"
"I would….." Willow confessed, a tear rolling down her cheek, then looked at Tara. "If I lost the one person who cares about me over everything else, I would…I wouldn't have anything to live for."
Tara had to hug Willow to prevent her from breaking down, as Dawn looked at the couple sadly, and Buffy and Xander looked between them and Angel.
"You kill Warren, and then try to kill the other two", Angel told Willow, hating himself for making her feel so bad. "When that fails, you try to destroy the world."
Willow had to control herself at that point as Tara kissed her lips and forehead.
"Baby I…." Willow choked. "I am a monster."
"No, you're hurting and in grief", Tara pointed out. "And it hasn't happened yet."
"But I can-"
"I won't let you", Tara assured, hugging Willow and wiping her tears. "I'll always be there for you."
"Me too", Dawn added as Willow managed to give a smile to her soulmate and foster daughter through her tears.
Buffy sighed and said. "All right, I get it, you had to save the world, but there could have be-"
"I am feeling physical pain at saying this, but Deadboy has a point", Xander said, and all were shocked that he agreed with Angel here.
"Still don't like you", Xander told Angel before turning to Buffy. "But he's not wrong about this. Humans can be pieces of trash too. Warren definitely was for murdering his ex, he deserved to die."
"Besides", Dawn spoke up. "You were willing to kill Faith to save Angel."
Buffy started. "That was differ-"
"How?" Angel asked. "You were trying to save me, I was trying to save the world."
"I'm not 100% onboard with what Angel did but I get why he had to do it", Tara told Buffy, and looked at Angel, assuring she didn't judge him, then looked at Buffy. "Please don't be a hypocrite here."
Buffy wanted to argue, but realized everyone, even Xander, agreed with Angel over her this time.
"I'm sorry Buffy for what I said earlier, but I won't apologize for killing Warren, he deserved to die, it had to be done", Angel told her. "Jonathan and that Andrew guy would be in prison now."
"Thank you", Tara told Angel. "You have saved me, again."
"No problem", Angel assured as the two shared a loving hug.
"Me too", Willow pointed out. "You stopped me from going down a dark path."
She and Angel shared a hug, and then he shared a hug with Dawn too.
He then told Buffy. "I hope you can understand my actions someday."
Angel then walked out. "Goodbye."
They waved to him other than Xander, Buffy a bit hesitantly.
Angel walked out into the street. He didn't like killing Warren or saying those things to Buffy, but he was firm in his stance.
And he had saved 2 souls- Willow's and Tara's. The latter's from dying, and the former's from being corrupted, he knew how hard it was to live with doing evil things.
He had even saved the world perhaps.
It felt good to save people again, that was all he could do now.
Help the helpless.
Done finally, phew!
In the Season 3 finale (or was it Episode 21?) Cordelia did say she had managed to get inside and outside her vision on her own will, and could see it all like she was there, which is why she saw all the main events here.
Plus, I mean, Dark Willow was gonna destroy the world, I think it makes sense the PTB would send Cordelia a vision of it. Xander talked her down but it may not have worked.
As for Buffy vs. Angel, Buffy is obviously stronger, faster and more skilled but Angel is a more focused and intelligent fighter, and here he played on her anger to get the upper hand.
For Buffy's stance on human and Demon lives, you know how I feel about it so no point arguing.
Thanks a lot to Brainstorm Sorcerer for his help again and see you all next time with some other update.
