So, got this idea after reading Aragorn II Elessar's 'Helping a soul' and inspired by his 'When Heroes live their lives'. Again, Dean and Sam are old friends of Buffy and Dawn.

Disclaimer: I do not own Buffyverse or Supernatural.

After getting a call from Buffy and Dawn, their old friends, Dean and Sam Winchester and their angel friend, Castiel, had come to visit them in Magic Box, where they met Tara, a young kind Wicca, who seemed to be a good person, even though Dean and Sam had an uncomfortable feeling in their chests from seeing someone resembling their old friendly vampire acquaintance Lenore.

"So you're telling us you have a demon inside you?" Dean asked.

"All women in my family do." Tara nodded as Dean, Sam and even Castiel frowned, skeptical.

"From what we've read on Maclay family, most of the men are misogynist pigs, who just like to have the women be submissive." Dean said. "It wouldn't surprise me if this was just a story to put you in your place."

"And I sense no demon inside you." Castiel said. "There is one way to find out for certain."

Tara tensed.

"Don't worry, if you have no demon inside you, it's not going to hurt you at all. I'm going to read your soul." Castiel said before he reached into Tara's chest as white glow emanated from it and Tara gasped, feeling warm inside her chest and Castiel frowned, more than usual, before pulling away. "She's clean."

"Wait, what?" Tara asked, surprised.

"Are you sure?" Sam asked.

"100%. There is no ounce of a demon inside her. Pure human soul, in fact, purer than any I have ever read." Castiel said and Tara sighed, mightily relieved, alongside Willow, Buffy, Dawn, Spike, Giles and Anya before Mr. Maclay, Donny and Beth entered.

"Tara—"

"You can drop that act, douchebag. There's no demon in her. We just checked her soul." Dean said.

Mr. Maclay frowned. "Whatever amateur trick you may have tried, this demon is—"

"Oh, save it. We know everything about that family rumor. It's all bullcrap to put the women in Maclay line in place." Dean said, rolling his eyes.

"And if you think you're going to take Tara from us, you'll have to go through all of us." Buffy said as she, Willow, Xander, Giles, Dawn and Spike, alongside Dean and Sam stepped in between Mr. Maclay, Donny and Beth.

"Family don't end in blood. Family cares about you and they've got your back, even when it hurts you all." Sam said.

"And you may be her family in blood but we love her for who she is." Willow said.

"Tara—" Mr. Maclay turned to her.

"Just go." Tara said, renouncing him for good.

Mr. Maclay, Donny and Beth fumed, glaring before walking away.

The Scoobies hugged Tara in relief as Dean and Sam smirked at each other. "We're not gonna let them get away scot-free, are we?"

"What are you guys thinking?" Buffy asked.

"No killing, if that's what you're worried about." Sam assured.

Beth had decided to leave, angry at the rumor herself and wanting to find her way and turning her back on Mr. Maclay and Donny. As soon as she got the chance, she took the first bus away and ran off. Mr. Maclay and Donny were angry and wondered whether they should curse Tara and damn her soul to Hell upon dying as punishment for turning her back on them. But, next thing they knew, they were both on the ground, with bruises on their faces and teeth knocked off their jaws as Dean and Sam approached with their brass knuckles.

"We know how you lot work. So we decided to make sure you won't hurt her, ever again." Dean said.

Mr. Maclay laughed. "If you kill us, she'll hate you both more than she could ever hate me."

"That's why we won't kill you." Sam said before he kicked Donny repeatedly, breaking multiple ribs as Donny coughed out blood and Dean punched Mr. Maclay in the back repeatedly until his spine broke and Mr. Maclay fell down.

Sam then force-fed Mr. Maclay some roots and said an incantation as Mr. Maclay suddenly felt weak.

"What did you do?" Mr. Maclay demanded.

"A little something to take away your powers. No magic, no curse. Just in case you decide to send Tara's soul to Hell upon her death." Sam said before he and Dean kicked Donny and Mr. Maclay in their kidneys as they both spasmed in pain.

"Funny thing about kidneys. There's a nerve there that's branched throughout your whole body and if you hit it right, you feel the pulse throughout your whole body, paralyzing you with fear, the same fear Tara must've felt, when you went after her." Dean said.

They both then stepped on Mr. Maclay's and Donny's backs, breaking their spines and kicked them in their jaws, knocking off most of their teeth.

"If you ever go after Tara in one way or another, ever again… you're gonna wish we'd killed you here." Sam said as he and Dean walked off, deciding to keep this to themselves, since Tara would never have forgiven them for this. Mr. Maclay and Donny ended up permanent cripples and forced to eat with straws and ending up in a hospital, where they spent the rest of their miserable lives.

Dean and Sam then drove off, with the Scooby Gang oblivious of what they had done, while they would have understood, at least Buffy, Dawn, Willow and Tara would never look at them the same way again, considering how close friends they were.

The part with Beth didn't happen in the show, I know, but come on, Amy Adams having such a horrible role of a submissive woman?

And death is too good for Mr. Maclay and Donny, so hope you liked their punishment.

Please review and let me know if you have enjoyed this one-shot.
