Just something that popped into my head. This is only intended to be a one shot; I don't intend to start something bigger. I do hope you all enjoy it though.
"You had to ask," Steve grumbled to Thor as the Avengers, plus Pietro and Wanda Maximoff and Vision, stared down the army of Ultrons.
"This is the best I can do," Ultron declared. "This is exactly what I wanted. All of you against all of me. How can you possibly hope to stop me?"
As if in answer, a roar pierced the air. The roar of a jet engine, it sounded like. As one, every eye turned towards sky. A small fighter was flying towards the city. It mostly resembled a small plane but it was way too advanced to be a plane. Ultron stared at it, trying to hack into the fighter but, to his shock, found himself pushed back.
"You two," Ultron said as he pointed to two of his Sentries. "Take care of it."
Without a word, the sentries moved towards the fighter. But, before it landed, it fired a small missile. The resulting explosion destroyed the sentries.
"Son of a bitch," Tony muttered.
The fighter then landed and the hatch opened. Emerging from the ship was a figure in a dark cloak, the hood drawn up over their face. In their hand was a mechanical device that looked like it was some kind of tool. At the sight of it, Thor's eyes widened.
"Impossible," Thor muttered.
"Thor? You know this guy?" Tony asked.
Before Thor could respond, there a snap-hiss sound. Everyone looked over to see the man's tool now had a green laser emerging from it, taking the form of a saber of some kind. At the sight, Thor let out a loud laugh.
"You are so screwed now!" Thor told Ultron gleefully.
As the figure approached, two Ultron sentries rushed him. The figure simply swung his laser sword, chopping one Sentry in two before beheading the other.
"I don't know who this guy is, but seems like he's on our side," Natasha pointed out.
"Then lets help him out," Steve said.
As Steve threw his shield, the other Avengers moved to help. Wanda and Vision unleashed red and gold energy respectively as Pietro sped around, punching the sentries while Tony and Thor used their suit and hammer respectively to help out. Hulk began smashing some sentries as Natasha and Clint used their weapons to help out however they could.
During all this, the figure approached the battle, several sentries rushing him. He cut a sentry in half before making a pushing motion. Another was pushed back by an invisible force, getting in the path of one of Wanda's energy blasts, which completely demolished it. The figure then turned around, cutting another sentry in half before turning to face another. Raising his green saber, he ran the sentry right through, cutting it clean in half from head to toe.
The figure then raised his hand, moving a car and crashing it into a sentry before using his saber to behead it before approaching another.
"You know, with the benefit of hindsight-" it started before the figure ran it through with his saber.
The remaining sentries, sensing the turning of the tide, tried to flee. But, to the shock and awe of the Avengers, the figure raised his hand and made a clenched his and the sentries froze, seeming to struggle uselessly to move.
"Now," the figure told the Avengers.
Not needing to be told twice, they attacked. Thor raised Mjolnir, unleashing a slew of lightning attacks while Tony unleashed his repulsor beams while Vision and Wanda used red and yellow energy on the sentries. In a blast of power, they were all destroyed.
"That's the last of them," Tony said after checking.
The figure deactivated his saber and putting his weapon a clip behind his belt. Lowering his hood, he revealed a man with sandy blond hair and sky blue eyes who couldn't have been much older than Wanda and Pietro.
"Are you a Jedi?" Thor asked.
"I am," the man confirmed. "My name is Luke Skywalker."
"I thought the Jedi were wiped out years ago," Thor said confused.
"Um, what's a Jedi?" Tony asked equally confused.
"They were the guardians of a government called the Republic. But they were wiped out over twenty years ago…or so I thought," Thor said as he stared at Luke in a bit of awe that he was in the presence of a Jedi.
"What you heard is true. I am the first Jedi of a new order," Luke declared.
Wanda stared at Luke curiously, an unexplained feeling coming over her. It wasn't attraction or anything like that. She just felt…drawn to Luke in a way she couldn't explain.
"I doubt you came here to help us," Steve pointed out and Luke nodded.
"You're right, I didn't," Luke said before he turned to Wanda. "I came here for her."
After, with Luke's help, they had placed the city back on ground, the Avengers and Luke stood on the Helicarrier Fury had arrived on, Luke's ship a few feet behind them.
"You are strong with The Force," Luke told Wanda. "You've always had feelings you couldn't explain, able to sense the true intentions of people and see things before they happen."
"He's right. You didn't trust List," Pietro realized and Wanda squirmed at the attention. "You knew he was lying to us, you only went along with his experiments because I begged you to."
"This Dr. List's experiments amplified your powers, made them more destructive than they would be normally. I can teach you how to control them," Luke offered.
"I…I don't know," Wanda said uncertainly, looking over at Pietro uneasily.
"It's scary, leaving your home, the people you love," Luke agreed, remembering his own hesitance to leave Tatooine for the first time. "But The Force is as dangerous as it is powerful, especially in your case. It can also corrupt, as you've experienced."
Wanda flinched, thinking of her earlier actions against the Avengers. Now that her mind was clear, she really wasn't sure what she had been thinking in siding with Ultron. Or maybe that had been the corrupting power of this Force Luke was talking about.
"Will she be safe with you?" Clint asked, standing protectively in front of Wanda, as if ready to defend her from Luke.
"I will give my life to protect her," Luke promised. "But it will not be safe, for her or anyone, until she has mastered her abilities."
"Wanda…I think you should go with him," Pietro said and she looked at him sharply.
"Pietro-"
"I'll miss you, but seems like you need to go with him to understand what's going on with you. And there's just something about this guy that I trust," Pietro said as he looked over at Luke.
Wanda shared that feeling. With List, there had been a dark feeling, a pit of dread in her stomach. With Luke, she felt warm, like stepping out into the sun after a rainy day.
"Once your training is complete, you may come home, if that is your wish," Luke offered.
Wanda hesitated for a few moments before, remembering the destruction her powers had caused, came to a decision. Turning to her brother, she pulled him into a hug.
"I'll miss you," Wanda said emotionally.
"We'll never really be apart. No matter where you are, I'll always be with you," Pietro said as he hugged her tightly, trying to hold it together for her.
Wanda took a shaky breath before letting him go and turning to Luke.
"Okay. I'll go with you," Wanda said.
Luke nodded, holding a hand out for her. She walked over to her and he guided her over to his two seated fighter. After guiding her into the back seat, Luke turned back to Pietro. Pietro nodded at him and Luke returned the nod before the hatch closed. The engine roared, Luke's droid beeping from its place in the ship, and then the ship took off. Pietro's hair flew back at the force of the wind but he didn't move, watching the ship until it disappeared from view.
"Do you think she'll be okay?" Pietro asked uncertainly, doubts that he'd made the right decision suddenly entering his mind.
"This Luke Skywalker is a Jedi. If anyone can help her, it is him," Thor assured the young man.
Obviously, Luke's entrance and fight scenes were based heavily on his entrance in the Mandalorian.
Wanda being hesitant to trust List and Pietro convincing her is actually canon and takes place in the Age of Ultron tie in comic.
Hope you all enjoyed this.
