After what felt like a days long travel from Victoria, then a few short stop to Leithanian and Siracusa, Harrison and Manfred were currently in Kazdel and Harrison was at the last place where W had given him that kiss all those years ago.
"Still unable to shake the minx from your thoughts?" Came Manfred's voice as the Sarkaz walked up to Harrison drawing the attention of the Draco.
"You are certainly right on that Manfred, It's as if she's still haunting me even if I left Babel after it was dissolved." Harriosn told the Sarkaz, the latter of whom let out a sigh.
"Well, master Artorias the faster you forget about her the better it would be in the long run." Manfred said in a dismissive tone causing Harrison to chuckle.
"You truly are a heartless man my friend." Harrison commented in a joking manner.
"I am a butler sir not a relationship councilor, if you want guidance in a relationship ask someone that has expertise in such matters." Manfred replied to Harrison, who shot the Sarkaz a questioning look.
"Say Manfred... were you involved in a relationship?" Asked Harrison asked the Sarkaz who made a wry smirk, and turned around to look at Harrison in the face.
"Would you believe me if I told you that I was involved in an affair with Madam Kal'tsit in Medical school before joining Babel?" Manfred asked Harrison who looked at Manfred and blinked once, twice and thrice, and he was interrupted when Manfred took a picture of Harrison's disbelieving face.
"Please tell me you are joking right?" Harrison asked Manfred, who simply chuckled.
"Not exactly a love affair sir, it was mostly a colleague affair if anything with better relations than many." Said Manfred.
"Huh, and here I thought that cat had her head stuck into her work." Harrison commented, thinking that Kal'tsit would care more about her work than getting herself involved in any sort of affair romantic or making friends.
"Well there's more to Kal'tsit than meets the eye Master Harrison after all the only interactions between you and Kal'tsit can be summed up as acquaintances." Said Manfred, as he turned his attention to the traffic.
"On another note, Kazdel has been doing well for itself so far, under the Regency." Commented Manfred.
"Indeed, though I find something strange..." Said Harrison as he began to think about something.
"What do you find strange sir?" Asked Manfred as he again looked at Harrison.
"Why would Theresis, who came out as the victor of the Civil war declare himself regent? It doesn't make any sense." Said Harrison, wondering why Theresis would put up a regency, unless he was ruling in somebody else's behalf.
"The regent hasn't been all to public lately." Manfred added.
"You think that someone's pulling Theresis' strings?" Harrison asked Manfred, who simply chuckled.
"If you want my opinion, I have no idea. Theresis has ben keeping to himself a lot these days, especially after he came to Victoria to Rule of Kazdel from there during the reconstruction. However I have to agree with your opinion as I believe that I a ruler rules a nation from somewhere else than is he the rightful ruler? No, and as you said there has to be someone either pulling Theresis' strings or he is preparing the throne for some relative of his." Said Manfred, who started moving the car as soon as the one in front of them towards the Customs office and after they were done there they began to make their way to Lungmen city.
Chernobog
In the halls of the city council building that the group had captured few days ago, a Sarkaz with, red slitted eyes, grey hair with two red strands, a pair of red horns protruding downwards, a grey shirt a black jacket with the internal part being red, black leggings and sneakers.
This was a Veteran of the Kazdel's civils war and the woman previously known as the devil of babel.
W was mildly happy, or as happy she could be after facing some old faces from Rhodes island, back when it was Babel like Ace and Scout, now she was making her way towards where the Dragon lady was holding herself up in.
And as she arrived she knocked at the door.
"Come in." Came a female from behind the door.
So W opened the door showing a rather bare chamber with a Draco looking over a Balcony, she was wearing a black skirt, black shoes, a white frilly shirt, and above it was a black Victorian short jacket.
"Hey Boss lady, why'd ya call me?" Asked W as she walked into the chamber, with her arms behind her head and a playful smirk plastered on her face.
"You finally arrived." Commented the woman as she turned around to face W.
"Here I am, as I said before Why'd ya call me?" Asked W wondering what her "boss" wanted of her.
"You will be going to lungmen to scout an are where we can start the invasion, preferably the slums." Talulah told W who quickly caught on with the Dragon Lady's idea.
"And you hope that the local infected populous, would give Reunion their support?" Asked W.
"Maybe." Talulah said.
"Good enough for me. See you 'till then." Said W, as she began to make her preparations to go to Lungmen.
"Why do I have a hunch like some someone I know is In Lungmen?" W thought to herself as she walked out of the chamber unaware that Harrison is in Lungmen.
In Lungmen
A 5 star Hotel
After days of driving the duo had finally made it to Lungmen city. And to Harrison it felt as if the city had gotten a hell of lot bigger than the last time he visited the place.
"Here you go sir, and I bid you a fare stay in our hotel." Said a Feline Receptionist as she gave Manfred a pair of Keycards.
"Thank you young miss and I bid you a good day." Said Manfred, in a thankful tone, as he grabbed the keycards and began to walk back to where Harrison was waiting him.
Now Harrison was resting in the reception hall sitting in an armchair with a news paper in his hands waiting for Manfred who was making the request for the room
"Sir?" Came Manfred's voice as he walked with two keycards in hand for the both of them.
"Manfred." Said Harrison as he looked at his butler/companion.
"I finished the necessary procedures and I have acquisitioned a room for two. Though I think it'd be best if we contacted Madam Kal'tsit after we have finished putting our luggage away." Manfred said as Harrison got up and took the Keycard from his butler's hand.
"Don't worry Dr. Kal'tsit will know that we have arrived when we are going to meet Mr. Wei ." Said Harrison as he picked one of the luggages and made his way towards the room.
Rhodes Island.
12:23 AM.
Inside Amiya's office the phone was ringing with Harrison's number showing, but there was no one inside the office to catch the phone so it was closed.
"No one's Responding, Sir?" Asked Manfred as he looked at his master.
"No they are not." Said Harrison as he began to chew on the plate of food in front of him.
Currently the Sarkaz and Draco duo were in a restaurant eating their dinner which consisted of a plate with Dim Sum, a Barbecued stake, and some Ice Tea on the side.
"So what are you going to do now Sir?" Asked Manfred, as he looked at his master/boss.
"We wait for tomorrow, and make an appointment with Wei at the morning." Harrison told Manfred who raised an eyebrow at the mentioning of the Chief Administrator's name, and curiously he asked.
"Do you think that he would allow the meeting? And why not now?" Asked Manfred.
"1. Not unless I am working with Rhodes Island or if I am here for business talks, and 2. folks are probably going back to their homes and go to sleep by now." Harrison said as he finished his Barbecued stake.
And pulled out a wallet and signaled at the to bring the Bill.
"Sir please it's not necessary for you to pay." Manfred said in protest but was interrupted by Harrison who grabbed his arm.
"Don't even think about Manfred, besides I have plenty of money to spare, with what having a private company and what not, also I think I should be doing this for once, as you have served my every whim ever since the end of Kazdel's Civil War." Harrison said making Manfred let out a sigh and look at his boss with a smile.
"As you wish master." Manfred with a humorous tone making Harrison smile, as he payed for the food, and left for the Hotel as tomorrow they'd be meeting up with R.I and Wei
