"Rhodes Island?" Ch'en asked as she turned and looked at the arrivals.
Harrison also turned and looked at a Cautus, Vouivre, a Vulpo, and a Man dressed heavily and couldn't tell his looks from his mask and hoodie.
The Vouivre, had pale blue hair and orange eyes, a pair of horns that protruded up- with blue tips, a blue tail that sprouted from her midback with spikes all the way to the tip which was in the form of an arrowhead.
She wore a blue track suit, a black shirt and skirt, and black sneakers.
The Vulpo wore, a grey shirt with pulled sleeves, a light black short skirt, forearm length gloves, a pair of thigh highs, and a pair of what resembled dark silver Oxford heeled shoes.
As for her appearance she had brown hair and tail and matching eye.
And to the left was a man wearing a black Rhodes Island jacket with blue linings, a pair of jeans, a pair of black oxford shoes, and his face was covered by a facemask and a hoodie which made it difficult to tell his appearance.
"Hello little bunny? How's it been?" Asked Harrison as he walked over to the Cautus and took her into a hug.
"That it has, Harrison." Responded Amiya who returned the gesture.
"Hey Harrison, it's been a while." Said the Vulpo as she walked up to Harrison.
"Hey Franka. Hope you lot have been doing well." Harrison responded
"That we have." Franka responded.
"I see that Doc is out of his retirement." Harrison responded as he looked at the man.
"I guess that we have enough pleasantries, we need to get going we are running on a schedule." Ch'en responded with impatient in her tone.
"Understood Special Inspection Unit Chief." Amiya said as she along with the gathered people went to meet up with the Chief.
"Ain't that a mouthful title." Manfred commented in a hush tone which didn't go unheard by Harrison.
"Yeah." He agreed.
With that out of the way to meet with Wei and Kal'tsit.
However they didn't notice a person hiding in the shadows and was observing them.
"HQ, this is eagle-eye Rhodes Island has rendezvous with L.G.D along with what looks like a Draco noble and a Sarkaz wearing a butler's uniform." Said the spy as he reported his findings
"Understood that Eagle-eye, can you get a description on that Noble you just mentioned?" Asked the person behind the radio.
"Yeah, he looks like the Boss, with the same horns protruding, hair and eye color, though the hair have some blond strands here and there. Do you think they are related?" Asked Eagle eye.
"Maybe... Anyways, go and scout out the slums, and paint out the areas to start the invasion of Lungmen." Said the person behind the radio.
"Roger that, Eagle eye out." Said the Reunion operator as he closed the comms
"Chief Wei, if you aren't going to heed my warning you are going to let Lungmen become the Next Chernobog." Came a female voice from behind the office door of Wei Yenwu.
"So Kal's here to?" Harrison commented.
"Yeah." Said Ch'en as she opened the door revealing a white haired Feline with green eyes, dressed in brown boots, a loose white jacket and underneath it a loose green shirt with a black skirt and a leather chocker, and on her right shoulder could be seen some originium crystals.
"It seems the leader of Rhodes Isalnd finally arrived with her entourage, and... My, it sure has been a long time Harrison." Wei commented, as he looked at the Rhodes Island folks that were gathered in the office, and then as he got up from his chair he turned his attention at Talulah's cousin.
"That it has old man." Harrison replied frostily.
"Still sour about that?" Wei asked Harrison.
"Maybe, maybe not, we'll have to see in the future." Harrison simply said.
"Eh, as you say kid." Wei said as he returned his attention to Kal'tsit.
"Now where were were?" Wei asked as he got back to his chair and took a drag from his smoke pipe.
"The part where Lungmen will become the next Chernobog?" Kal'tsit asked the Chied Executive of Lungmen.
"Ah, right." Wei said.
"So will you agree to take Rhodes Island's assistance?" Asked Kal'tsit.
"Hmm I will think about it. Chief of Special Inspection unit Ch'en, how would you rate the combat effectiveness of Rhodes Island operatives?" Wei asked as he turned his attention to his niece.
"Well..." Ch'en started speaking as she recalled the footage taken from the camera feed she saw on the way here.
Flashback
"Franka watch your six." The Doctor said calmly while giving instruction and making sure the operatives didn't get distracted, with Amiya working as protection in case.
"Thanks Doctor. Alright, there are a few more Reunion soldiers left." Said Franka as she stabbed the Reunion soldier with her Sabre.
"Liskarm, you've got a Lancer heading on your 3 o'clock." Doctor told the Vouivre, who turned her attention to the charging Reunion Spearman.
"Alright." Said Liskarm as she used her shield to bash on of the Reunion soldiers who was charging at her, and shot him with her gun.
"We are finished here let's get moving." Said the leader of this Reunion squad as he began to retreat.
"Why are they retreating?" Asked Liskarm.
"I think they were just a scouting party poking at the cities' defenses." Amiya responded.
"You think they may have infiltrated the city already?" Liskarm asked.
"Or they could have infiltrated the slums, after all that's the part of the city where the larger concentration of infected is located." Franka said.
"Maybe, but that will remain to be seen. Now come let's not keep our hosts waiting." The Doctor said and the rest followed.
But for a moment the Doctor stopped and looked at the fallen Reunion soldiers, it oddly felt satisfying to him, the taste of victory, and for some reason he couldn't help but feel a sense of Deja vu washing over him.
As if he has experienced this before.
"Strange..." The Doctor thought to himself.
"Doctor are you coming?" Came Franka's voice as she drew the Doctor's attention.
"Yeah." Was the man's response as he followed up, and as he looked at Amiya he took note of the worried look on the Cautus' face.
"Is there a problem Amiya?" The Doctor asked the girl.
"Nothing, just worried that there was something wrong." The girl responded.
"Alright, let's get going." The Doctor said as he started to walk towards the check point to meet up with the Chief of Special Inspections Unit on schedule.
Back in the office
"Alright, I think I am convinced however... there is a single problem form" Wei said as he took another drag off of his smoke pipe.
"The cost, for the service?" Kal'tsit.
"Indeed they seem quite... expensive for a time like this don't you think?" Wei asked them.
"How about a compromise then?" The Doctor said as he took the attention of everyone in the room.
"Alright I am listening." Wei said.
"Give us a test mission, if you think that we aren't worth the service that we will provide, then the price will be lowered, and if we exceed your expectations then the price will stay as it is." The doctor told Wei who began to think.
"Hm... you make a hard bargain doctor, however... I am willing to take on on your offer." Wei said as he opened his desk's drawer and pulled out the photo of a Ursus girl with white hair a black poncho and underneath it a turtleneck. a pair of short black pants and sneakers.
"Whose this?" Franka asked as she looked at the photo.
"Consider that girl your test, I want you to bring her to L.G.D H.Q alive." Wei told the R.I representatives.
"Just what are you up to this time old man?" Harrison thought to himself wondering what Wei wanted with that girl.
However when Kal'tsit saw the photo she couldn't help but feel a sense of Deja Vu washing over her.
"If you do bring her to the L.G.D H.Q in one piece I may considering paying you that sum." Wei said with a smirk on his face.
"Alright." Kal'tsit said as she agreed as she shook Wei's hand as the Governor of Lungmen smirked at this small victory and walked out of the office, not really liking that infuriating smirk on Wei's face as she was followed by Manfred.
"Well, I guess this is goodbye then." Said Harrison.
"Indeed it is Mr. Artorias." Wei replied as he took a drag off of his pipe.
In Wei's office
"Did you really have to do that?" Ch'en asked as she looked at her uncle.
"Consider it a presented opportunity, Ch'en, and besides I doubt that we will be the only ones that will be going after that girl." Wei said as he looked at the photo of the white haired Ursus girl.
"As you say." Ch'en said, feeling a bit frustrated at her uncle's vagueness, and being left in the dark like some pawn.
"And before you leave here, this is a File on Misha, I want you to hand it over to Rhodes Island. Hopefully it may be of some use to them in extracting the girl." Wei said as he handed Ch'en a file.
"Where does he get these?" Was the woman's thoughts as she picked up the file and took a glance at them and saw the detail on it.
"I'm leaving now." Said Ch'en as she walked out of the office.
"Hey Kal'tsit." Came a male voice causing the Feline doctor to turn behind and look at Manfred who had a small smile on his face.
"Hello, Manfred." Kal'tsit greeted back.
"So... how've you been these last couple of years?" Asked the Sarkaz butler.
"A pain if I am being honest, ever since Theresa got killed it feels like things have only gone downhill from there." Kal'tsit said.
"I can agree with you on that." Manfred commented.
"Say... will you be willing to join us for dinner? Master Harrison will be paying for us, and I for one can't say not to free food." Manfred invited Kal'tsit.
"Alright, I guess I need to eat something after dealing with such dreary matters." Kal'tsit accepted the invitation.
