"We will have to hitch a ride, to get to the L.G.D." Said Harrison.
"Do you have car, then?" Asked Liskarm as she looked at the Draco.
"Yes, although it is at the Hotel, me and Manfred had reserved." Harrison informed them.
"Well I don't see the big problem with that." Said the Doctor as he spoke in a calm tone as if the previous attack had never happened.
"Or you could call Manfred to bring the car here." Franka suggested.
"Right..." Harrison said as he brought up his phone and tapped Manfred's number.
"Good afternoon sir? How may I be of assistance?" Asked Manfred over the phone.
"Manfred where are you?" Harrison asked.
"I am making my way back to the hotel under the company of Madam Kal'tsit, why do you ask?" Manfred replied curious as to why Harrison was calling if he were in the middle of a mission.
"Can you bring the car here? Ch'en along with the other L.G.D operatives had been ambushed in the desert close to the city's outskirts." Harrison informed his butler.
"Very well sir, I will be on my way."
"Bring the car to the Slums outskirts the rest of us will take it from there." Harrison told his butler.
"Very well sir." Said Manfred.
With Manfred and Kal'tsit
"What was it?" Kal'tsit asked Manfred.
"It'd appear that Madam Ch'en and her entourage have been ambushed and Harrison along with his team have to go and rescue them." Manfred responded as he put the phone back in the pocket.
"Guess this little "date" of ours has to be cut short doesn't it?" Kal'tsit asked him with a small smirk appearing on her face.
"I guess it does. Now if you will excuse me, I have somewhere to be." Manfred told Kal'tsit as he went to the Garage and pick up the car.
"Be safe." Kal'tsit told Manfred who simply looked back for a moment and nodded with a smile on his face he left.
15 minutes later
"Manfred sure is taking his time?" Asked Liskarm as she along with the rest of the team waited for Manfred to arrive with the car.
"Well the hotel is 20 km from here and let's not forget the rush hours." Said Harrison in Manfred's defense.
"Whatever you say Harrison." Franka replied when a black Sedan rolled up and Manfred rolled out of the car.
"I do beg your apologies, I was stuck in the rush hour traffic, thankfully though it was the early moments of the rush hour." Manfred replied as he walked up to them.
"Indeed." Harrison said as he nudged his head his head for the rest of the team to hop onto the car.
"Liskarm, Franka, Doctor and Amiya you got to the rear. Manfred on front with me." Harrison told them.
"Sorry to ask Harrison but where am I going to sit, the car is a four seater." Amiya said.
"Doc's going to sit on the middle with you sitting on his lap." Harrison told them, although this had the effect of making Amiya blush a bit.
"O-Ok." Amiya said as she stuttered a bit, and proceeded to walk into the car.
At the outskirts
L.G.D cnvoy
"Damn." Said an L.G.D operative as he got out of the car that had been flipped in the ambush.
"You alright?" Ch'en asked as she walked up to the operative.
"Yes Ma'am I am perfectly fine." The Operative said as he looked at Ch'en.
"Good." Ch'en said as she then proceeded too look at the other to vehicles behind that were also in the same condition.
"When did they have the time to place those mines and how did they know the route we were taking?" Ch'en thought to herself as she looked at the flipped vehicles.
"Does anyone know where the girl is!" Ch'en called out.
"No Ma'am!" It seems that she has been taken by Reunion personnel." One of the Men told her. as he looked at the car where Misha had been.
"Damn it." Che'n cursed under her breath, as she let out an irritated sigh.
"Rhodes Island isn't going to be enough for this mission aren't they? Better call for a more back up." Ch'en muttered to herself as she pulled her phone and contacted Hoshiguma.
L.G.D HQ
In an Office a Green haired Oni was sitting cross-legged with he hand behind her head and a bored look on her face.
Her clothing consisted of a tank top with a chest plate around it, a pair of black gloves, a pair of calf length pants, and a black jacket that hung by her pants.
"This is so boring. Hoshiguma thought to herself as she let out a bored sigh, then suddenly a the phone started ringing.
"L.G.D Special Services Officer Hoshiguma speaking." The green haired Oni answered as she picked up the phone that was lying on her desk.
"Hoshiguma I need your assistance." Came Ch'en's voice over the line, though there was a worry in the woman's tone.
"What happened Ch'en?" Asked the Oni wondering what got Ch'en so worried.
"We were ambushed by a Reunion task force, and it seems that they have taken Misha." Ch'en informed Hoshiguma, who nodded.
Hoshiguma may have not known Misha personally but Ch'en forced her to check on if she were to be called for assistance, if it came to it, and it seems that all that reading did pay off.
"Alright hold tight, I am making my way there." Hoshiguma replied.
"Roger that." Ch'en replied as she closed her phone.
"Better not waste any time then." Hoshiguma said to herself as she got up from her desk and on her way out she picked up her shield and went to pick up her car.
With L.G.D
As Ch'en lowered her phone she let a exasperated sigh not liking the current situation.
"So what do we do now ma'am?" Asked the L.G.D operative as he got up on his feet.
"Release some drone and provide aerial scouting." Ch'en ordered making the man nod in confirmation as he walked up to the back of the car and pulled out some small drones, which were then handed to several other.
And as the drones were set up, they were launched in the air but there was a problem.
"Uh... Ma'am there seems to be a problem." Said one of them men.
"What's the problem?" Ch'en asked them.
"It seems that Reunion personnel are using disruption arts." Said the L.G.D operative informed Ch'en.
Elsewhere
Skullshatterer looked at his younger sister behind his mask with a look of relief, as he began to recall the time the spent together after their mother died.
Flashback
11:30 PM
3 Years ago
"Brother where are we going?" Asked an 11 year old Misha as she looked at her brother.
"Somewhere safe, Misha." The 12 year old Alex told his sister as he looked at his younger sister as he held her hand.
The he looked at the abandoned apartment in front of them.
"Come on." Said Alex as he pulled his sister.
"Why are we going to that abandoned apartment?" Asked Misha.
"That'll be our safehouse for the time being Misha, until we find a better place to say." Alex told Misha, trying to calm down his sister and both of them walked up to the abandoned apartment.
Flashback end
"Alex...?" Misha questioningly said as she recognized her older brother.
The mask may have obscured Alex's face but Misha could tell from the eyes that it was Alex, she thought her older brother was lost when a Riot in Chernobog began 2 years ago.
"I... I'm not Alex." Skullshatterer told her.
"B..." Misha was about to say when a Reunion soldier walked up to him.
"Skullshatterer." Said the man as he looked at the Grenadier.
"Yes?" Skullshatterer asked as he turned his attention to the Soldier.
"The L.G.D have regained their conscience, and have launched drones, thankfully our casters were able to cast disruption arts." Said the Soldier as he looked at Skullshatterer.
"We need to get moving." Skullshatterer told them.
"Right away." Sid the men as they began to move from their spot so they don't get caught by the L.G.D and rendezvous with the others waiting for them.
With the L.G.D
As soon as they heard a car coming to a stop, Ch'en turned and saw Harrison along with Franka, Liskarm, Manfred, Amiya and the "Doctor" coming out of their cat.
"Are you guys alright?" Harrison asked them as he walked up to Ch'en.
"We are alright, although Misha's been taken by a Reunion, and we are having a problem with recon since Reunion casters are using disruption arts." Said Ch'en as she looked at them.
"So the chase starts again." Said the Doctor with irony in his tone.
"It'd appear so." Liskarm said in agreement.
