Just another time when I wanted to do some Willow/Tara fic. Caitlin in this fic is Caitlin Johnson from Supernatural, an old friend of Dean and Sam and I also used the storyline with Caitlin and the hotel she grew up in in my one-shot, 'The Slayer, the Hunter and Baba Yaga', where Buffy and Dawn also joined in for the plot, so Buffy and Dawn are her friends here too and Tara survived getting shot by Warren.
As for Kennedy, who is she again? *chuckles* I hate the show's Kennedy but I can stand Kennedy in the follow-up comic books, since she's not as much of a brat as before and she's more likeable than Andrew, Robin and Riley.
Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.
Buffy, Faith, Dawn, Willow and Tara had driven to Rooster's Sunrise Hotel in Wadsworth, where a blonde woman in her early 30s greeted them.
"Buffy. Dawn. Come here." Caitlin said as she hugged them.
"Hey, Caitlin." Buffy said, kissing Caitlin on her cheek.
"You grew up." Caitlin said, fondling Dawn by her hair as the girls smiled at her.
"So, you don't have any ghosts haunting the place again, do you?" Buffy asked.
"If I did, you think I'd reserve rooms for you?" Caitlin said as the girls chuckled. "Remember when we went to grab free chocolate, when we were kids?"
"I could use some." Willow said as she and Tara picked their bags.
"So, you two are witches. And you got shot but you survived and then some First Evil started coming after you and the Potential Slayers and then it ended with Sunnydale crumbling down because your friend sacrificed yourself." Caitlin summed up, all girls having a coffee in the restaurant area as they nodded.
"Yeah." Buffy said, saddened.
"And you two are… together?" Caitlin gestured to Willow and Tara. She wasn't judgmental or anything like that but still, it was little difficult for her to process seeing two lesbians together with her own eyes as Willow and Tara held each other's hands. "I mean, it's just… I've never met…"
"…straight-up dykes?" Dawn asked.
"If that's how the current generation calls lesbians, sure. But no, I've never met any." Caitlin said as she smiled at Willow and Tara. "But if you're happy, I'm happy for you. Speaking of which, remember when we were all in the spa area relaxing in the whirlpool?"
"As long as Baba Yaga or something doesn't grab us again." Dawn joked as everyone chuckled.
"Good that we brought our bikinis together." Tara said.
While Dawn had gone out for a walk, Willow and Tara were in the bedroom, discarding their clothes on the floor as they laid down until they were both nude as they both moaned softly while kissing and running their hands down each other's exposed skin as Willow tasted Tara's neck and Tara reached below Willow's waist as she breathed out and their legs entangled beneath the covers of the bed as they continued making out until both of them were tired and panting out, while Willow leaned onto Tara's shoulder as Tara fondled Willow's hair.
"Remember the last time?" Willow asked, remembering the last time they had made love and what happened shortly after that.
"That's not going to happen this time." Tara assured.
"How do you know for sure?" Willow asked, unconvinced.
"I don't. But what I do know is that you can't worry about the future or you'll lose all hope. Live in the present and enjoy what you have." Tara said as they smiled at each other and kissed again.
Buffy, Faith, Willow, Tara and Dawn were out on the walk after eating dinner.
"So, do you think we could tell Angel or Spike about this place? I heard Angel's got himself a werewolf girlfriend. She could be good for him." Willow said, remembering Oz.
"Who knows." Buffy said. Spike had written her a letter he would come back, but he had to take care of an unfinished business with Drusilla, so she would wait for him, but then they all groaned, when they heard familiar noises.
"Well, well, well, we've got dinner here." One of the vampires said.
"Not this again." Buffy rolled her eyes as she pulled the Scythe out of her bag and cut a head off one of the vampires, while Dawn dodged and picked a piece of wood from the ground, staking another. Tara and Willow each lifted the vampires in the air with their magic and threw them towards trees, staking them as they turned into dust.
More vampires appeared, when suddenly, three girls in military outfit appeared, two of them which they recognized as they cut the vampires' heads off with their swords and one of them pulled out guns, firing silver bullets.
"Kennedy?" Willow asked with wide eyes, recognizing the girl with guns.
"Satsu?" Buffy asked.
"Hey." Kennedy said before she and Satsu looked at each other with a very familiar look that they recognized.
"Oh."
"Oh." Buffy and Willow said at the same time, while Kennedy and Satsu were kissing a moment later. One's ex with her best friend's ex was something… strange, to say the least, making it difficult for them to process it. Kennedy looked amused at Buffy's and Willow's reactions, while Satsu blushed a little in embarrassment.
"You OK?" Kennedy asked, snapping her fingers in front of Buffy.
"Uh… uh…" Buffy trailed off.
"Buffy?" Satsu waved her hand in front of Buffy's eyes.
"You… you two… oh…" Buffy was lost for words.
"I think she needs time to process." Kennedy said.
"Yeah." Satsu nodded.
"So, you and Satsu…?" Buffy trailed off as she and Kennedy went to talk.
"What, you think I lust for her because she's still new to the slaying?" Kennedy asked, a little offended.
"Well, I—"
"Buffy, it's been so long that I've moved on and yeah, I was pissed at you, since Willow could've taken Twilight out too before you decided to change the rules and destroy the Seed but after I left and put together my own group, I started to put myself more in your shoes. So, while I'm not happy, I guess I wouldn't do any differently in your place. When I pulled out Willow and Giles, I was out of line. You made a tough call to save everyone, Angel included, I get it now." Kennedy admitted. "And frankly, after Willow dumped me and I left, I had a lot to think about. It forced me to realize that my old life was over, even more now that Tara was back. But I didn't see any future with the Scoobies. That's why I left and honestly, it was the best thing that ever happened to me."
"So you're happy now?" Buffy asked as Kennedy considered.
"I guess I finally found my place." She shrugged. "And Satsu, I like her. I mean, really."
Buffy still found it weird that her ex was dating someone Buffy didn't exactly see eye-to-eye but she couldn't protest it, really. "So, if you're both fine, then I guess I'm too." She then looked at Kennedy seriously. "But if you hurt her…"
Kennedy raised her hands mockingly in surrender as both girls chuckled.
Later, Buffy had gone out shopping, while Xander, Dawn and other Slayer recruits were playing sport in the garden before Dawn sat down on the bench with Willow, Tara, Faith and Satsu.
"Are you OK with Buffy and Spike?" Willow asked Satsu.
"I knew we wouldn't last for long and as for her and Angel, it was hard to watch but they were both whammied, I get it. I accepted that she loves Spike as much as I love her but that we wouldn't last together." Satsu said.
"OK." Tara said.
"Good. Now. What's she like in the sack?" Willow asked.
"What?" Satsu gasped, blushing, flabbergasted.
"Do you know how long I've wondered about this? Don't hold out on us, sister. How good is she in the bed with girls?" Tara insisted as the other girls neared her.
"I'm not telling you anything!" Satsu protested in embarrassment.
"Oh, yes, you are!" Faith said, just as curious.
"Did she make that high-pitch squeal?" Dawn made a high-pitch squeal. "I call it 'shoe-sale noise…'"
"That is not how I sound."
The girls paled as they turned to face Buffy, whose face turned humorless as she scowled. "Do you think I gossip about how you and Tara do it or how I might do it with girls like Satsu or Faith?"
They recognized the look in Buffy's eyes as they laughed nervously.
"You are going to beg for mercy before I'm done with you!"
"We were just kidding around! Just kidding around!"
"Oh, I'm gonna have a good laugh when I catch you! Come back here!"
Xander, Renee, Kennedy and other Slayers paused as they turned to see Willow, Tara, Faith and Dawn run off, while Buffy chased them.
"I wonder how would you do it with Spike and me, if we went rough—" Faith cracked.
"Come here, I'm gonna show you how rough I can be!" Buffy yelled.
Xander, Renee, Kennedy and the rest laughed hysterically.
"Shouldn't we stop Buffy or help them?" Renee asked.
"Not if you don't want to get a black eye from Buffy." Kennedy said.
"She packs a punch." Xander said as they observed Buffy chasing Willow, Tara, Faith and Dawn.
Later, the group was having a dinner, when Willow, Tara and Dawn entered, they didn't seem beaten up but they looked like they had been through an ordeal as Xander and the rest of the group snickered.
"So, how much did she talk your ears off?" Xander asked.
"After half an hour of roughing us up and another hour of yelling at us, we promised never to gossip about Buffy's sex life with girls." Tara said.
"Damn, I'd never seen her that much pissed before, not even after finding out that Spike had survived." Dawn said, shuddering and clearly traumatized.
"I thought she'd beat you up more." Renee noted, noticing the lack of bruises or tears on clothes.
"Wiccas. Remember?" Tara said and they nodded.
"Where's Faith?" Kennedy wondered.
They heard Faith grunting and 'thud' above their heads as they tensed.
"I guess Buffy's not done roughing her up." Xander said.
"Shouldn't we go up there?" Renee asked as everyone looked at her incredulously with looks saying 'Are you stupid or suicidal?'
"You wanna be in one room with Buffy and Faith, both of them pissed off?" Dawn demanded.
Caitlin sighed as she shook her head. "Honestly, I wish this place was haunted by ghosts now, since you are going to pay a lot of damage when this is over."
Xander sighed. He was happy he had saved a lot of money thanks to Anya but Buffy and Faith would now almost break him due to their temper. Though, they expected them to shout at each other more, not just grunts and moans, unless… they shook their heads, dismissing the idea. Buffy and Faith might like each other, but they wouldn't… would they?
A moment later, Andrew staggered to the restaurant with two blackened eyes and a broken nose. "Can I get a coffee, please?"
Everyone rolled their eyes, unsurprised at Andrew trying to spy on Buffy or Faith and getting his.
The room was trashed and the closet and drawer were in bits and the bed was broken in two as the legs also gave, Buffy and Faith panting out with bruises and hickeys and sweat covering their naked bodies.
"Do you wish we'd done that when we first met?" Faith asked.
"Well… can't say that I don't wonder." Buffy admitted.
"Was it that rough with Spike?" Faith asked.
"Close to it, but we don't wanna bring the whole hotel down." Buffy said.
"How about just the room?" Faith said, placing herself on top of Buffy as she ran her hands down Buffy's arms and Buffy caressed Faith's shoulders and then breasts as both girls moaned again, exploring each other's bodies, lost in passion and ecstasy, while kissing fiercely and rolling around the floor.
Outside of one moment in BTVS Season 8, I can stand comic book Kennedy much better than the show's, since in the aftermath of BTVS Season 8, Kennedy left the Scooby Gang after Willow had lost her magic and broken up with her and Kennedy blamed Buffy for it, since, in a nutshell, Buffy had to save Angel possessed by Twilight by destroying the Seed of Wonder and ending all magic on Earth, while Willow was also close to defeating Twilight with her magic and later Kennedy left and formed her own Slayer group and became cheap Wesley but eventually, she reconciled with Buffy, more or less, plus, when Buffy was briefly in relationship with Satsu and then broke up with her, Kennedy advised Satsu to move on and became good friends and the idea of Kennedy/Satsu I got from Leonhart17, since I think that Satsu could be a good influence on her. Kennedy still retained some of her snarkiness and bratty attitude but she matured and mellowed out later in the comics.
Plus, in the comics, when Buffy joined briefly Kennedy's Slayer group, just to find out what's it about, than anything else, Kennedy and Buffy had some heated words and Kennedy pulled out Buffy getting Giles killed, leading to Buffy giving her a black eye and Kennedy later acknowledged she had crossed a line in the argument and she and Buffy more or less made amends. Also, couldn't resist Buffy getting a weirded out reaction over Kennedy/Satsu, LOL! The girl who hates Buffy's guts but later makes amends with her dates Buffy's ex. I tried to portray Kennedy closer to how she is in comics, since don't get me started on the brat in the show.
And as usual, no sympathies for Andrew but poor Caitlin for what they are doing to the hotel, LOL!
So, what do you guys think?
Please review and let me know if you have enjoyed this one-shot.
