I'm in my late 20s (eeep), Canadian but moved to Australia 7 years ago & love it here too. I'm an outdoorsy sort of person, used to work professionally with horses but eventually got a 'real' job as an environmental scientist.

What else to say? I like good grammar and the correct use of language. Dad was an author and mum's an editor so I guess I come by it honestly! I like reading and have a guilty secret: I'm totally into books for kids and teenagers! Somehow I got caught up reading Twilight - and yes, I do realise that is in direct contradiction to my predilection for the English language! Who am I kidding...somehow? It was because I loved the characters. (Read: wolfpack, not the vamps, god no!)

Having been left thoroughly unsatisfied by the books themselves I turned to fanfic. And lately I've been starting to think I may have a problem: I'm kind of a Jake/Bella junky. I feel like I've been mainlining way too much of everyone else's Jake & Bella universes... So after lurking in the ff closet for a fairly long time I recently came crawling/limping/staggering out to write my own stuff.
