They had stored the cannibal's bodies in their bracelet's dimensional storage, and made their way south of their home to bury them in the desert as soon as the next sandstorm went through. The heat, the wind and the sand were as nightmarish as before, sweat dripping out of their every pore just to be almost instantly evaporated and drank by the hazing heat, but the worst part was that the bracelet's storage wasn't perfect. All it did was (greatly) reducing the weight of objects inside of it, but even with full body reinforcement, the girls still felt as if they were carrying a horse on their back.

"Ah... I cannot take another step. How far are we?" Luvia gasped the words, not daring to go through the effort of actually turning and checking by herself.

"I would say... about 500 meters from the house?" Rin's answer did not make Luvia happy, not at all.

"I thought we were at least four or five times as far!"

"It certainly feels l-like that, d-doesn't it?" Rin had to agree. Luvia was carrying almost twice as much as she was, insisting it made sense, since she actually enhanced her bracelet's encumbrance capacity.

"A~ah... miss Tohsaka, I cannot take it anymore. I cannot feel my legs anymore~!" Luvia complained while slumping ever so slightly.

"S-so t-that is what you s-sound l-like... in bed!" Rin was no better, feeling as if she had overstayed inside a sauna.

"You are... a~ah... still using that joke?"

"It is a-" Rin took a deep breath. "A good joke."

She did her best to straighten up and look strong, taking a big breath and stepping forth with almost martial determination. It lasted all of three steps before she began to slump again, but it did motivate the blonde to keep moving after her. They had talked about leaving right away, but the truth is they still needed to go through quite a few tasks first, starting by dumping the bodies as far as they could. No need to have residual psychic imprints (which non-mages would call ghosts) coming at them in their sleep, and no need to get the animals in the area used to human flesh, either.

They suffered in (mostly) silence for another ten minutes, and then Luvia fell to her knees. Rin turned around, her hair sticking to her all over while her body was so covered in sweat it almost looked as if she was bathed in oil.

"Alright, far enough." Rin reached into the bracelet, pulled out a handful of crystals the size of her fist, took a deep breath and put as much force into her arm as she could, throwing them at the sands a couple dozen feet ahead to create a wide, deep crater.

"Come on, miss Edelfelt." Rin walked forth, made it to the edge of the slowly filling hole in the sand, and simply dumped the bodies in.

It really had been like trying to carry a horse, and the difference was as dramatic as night and day. She let out a little cry of exaltation, and went back to help Luvia.

"Hnnf! M-miss Edelfelt, you are going on a diet!" Rin whined in jest as she helped the blonde to walk.

The girls felt about as guilty about dumping the bodies in an unmarked pit as a housewife would about smacking a cockroach. If anything, the relief that came from doing so left them feeling lighter in both an spiritual and literal sense, and as the desert wind began blowing sand into the hole, they found themselves smiling and in good cheer.

They simply turned around, and began their trip back home.

"You know, those things probably have a settlement nearby." Luvia commented matter of fact.

"Uhm. They were not wearing bracelets, so they likely just wandered in through the ghost fence. I mean, people in here cannot leave and are mostly bandits or worse, so they are distrustful and will not group up to organise a proper defence. It is their perfect hunting ground."

"Sadly, I believe you are correct."

As the house came into view, Rin had to admit, it looked downright... wholesome A small cabin with walls of polished smooth sandstone, with a little fence at the front and straw-like roofing. All it was missing was a flower garden, and it could have been the set of a children's tv show.

And then she realised the house was at the top of massive foundations reaching from ground level all the way to the top of the mesa they were in, with a long stone stair leading all the way to the plants below.

"Luvia, I thought you said you would build a discreet, small hut?"

"Yes, is it not adorable?"

"Oh, it is. It is so adorable I am sure it would fit right in on a muppets show. The house, that is." Rin nodded a few times. "But what about the foundations? You build 40ft tall foundations all the way up from ground level, Luvia! How is this discreet? No wonder they found us!"

"Is it bad? I was of the impression foundations were important."

"They are, but they are also usually underground, you know?"

"...I guess that is true." Admitted the blonde.

"Well, whatever. So, we are building an animal pen and turning the gorilla turtles into familiars or going for the silk?"

"I was hoping for a dip in the bath."

"You know what? That sounds heavenly."

They picked up the now cured leather off the tannery station outside, made their way in, and Luvia replaced the door before they descended into the cave and made their way to the spring.

~O~

Shirou pushed himself up into the branch, and began walking through the canopy, this time being equally wary of his immediate surroundings as he was of the ground. He had left Raphael watching the base, as there was no way the turtle-like animal would manage to follow him through the maze of roots and branches, and would mostly just look like a large meal to the packs of monsters and firetruck-sized snakes in the flooded jungle floor.

"Aha! Just as mine cutlass was getting' rusty!" The cry came from below and some distance away, but it was a human voice, so he quickly began moving in that direction, running on the road-thick branches and using his reinforcement to boost himself across the air. Like this, he arrived at the source of the scream in a little under six seconds.

He found two men fighting at mud level (it was difficult to call it ground, even in his mind). They were both fair-skinned, though one had short black hair, and the other was blonde with long, shaggy hair. The black hair man's weapon was a trident, while his armour must have been more ceremonial than practical, as it left a large gap of his chest exposed down from his neck to his belt, while otherwise protecting him with heavily reinforced leather in multiple layers from head to toe, even going so far as to add extra strips of wide leather hanging from his waist to his ankle, each studded with wide brass disks for enhanced protection.

The blonde man meanwhile, was wielding a cutlass and wearing what could best be described as leather-reinforced rags. He was wearing the same bracelet as Shirou.

Not knowing who started the fight or why, he shot at the trident's head when the armoured warrior was about to impale his opponent through the throat in what would surely have been a deathblow, then did it again to deviate the cutlass' swing as the ragged man tried to take advantage of it.

"Isn't this place bad enough?!" He called as he descended from the tree. "Why are you fighting?"

"This man is scum!" The armoured warrior cried out. "He's but a thief and worse!"

"Nonsense! I am but a poor sailor, exiled to this lands through no fault of my own!"

Well, Shirou didn't really need them to tell the truth when he could just take a peek at their weapons' tale, beginning with shaggy man's cutlass...

It was a rather new weapon, forged barely a few miles away in the unimaginatively named 'Pirate Bay,' a hive of scum and villainy and worse. Its owner had killed men and women for as little as a bottle's last sip of rum, raided the natives' settlements for slaves, plundered their ruins and holy sites, and forced himself upon his captives, both women and childr-

Shirou had always thought he should save everyone, but the story of that sword made him feel physically ill. He contemplated putting an arrow through the pirate's eye, but gave it up. Shirou certainly wouldn't help him get away either, though. His ideals may go against cold-blooded murder, but he wasn't going to help a criminal evade just retribution, either.

"I believe you." He said to the armoured man. "But I can't let you kill him without a trial."

"That's... acceptable." Said the warrior. "I am Adon, will you help me capture him?"

"I am but a humble sailor!" Whined the pirate.

""Shut up!"" Was their reply.

The pirate lifted his cutlass, but Shirou shot an arrow through his wrist, putting an end to that as Adon quickly levelled the tip of his trident with the man's throat.

~O~

"I feel alive again." Luvia smiled in content as she sat with just her head and shoulders above the water's surface.

"Hm~m" Rin almost purred her agreement. "Do you want me to rub your back? You can do me later."

"Miss Tohsaka, such an improper declaration!" Jested the blonde.

"You recover quick uh?"

Luvia relaxed and sunk a little more, the water up to her chin.

"A~ah~ All we are missing now is some scented candles and oils." She said as she enjoyed the water.

"Hmm... I am fairly sure we could make beewax candles if you really want some..."

"Seems like needless work. We'll be leaving this place soon."

"I guess." Rin turned around, pulling herself unto the spring's edge so her chin was resting on her crossed arms, letting the rest of her body float.

A drop of cold, condensed water hit her square between her shoulderblades, and got a rather cute cry out of her.

"Miss Tohsaka, do you promise to hold your snarky side if I make a confession?"

"No promises are made." Said Rin, but by her tone and smile, Luvia could tell the dark haired girl was joking.

"I think you are my first friend."

"Hm~m. I guessed as much." Rin agreed.

"Rin!"

"Oh, calm down. I know what you mean. Magus are a selfish, secretive, rightfully paranoid bunch. 'Friendship' is something for normal people. At the most, we can get lucky and have good relationships with our chosen spouse."

"That... is coldly accurate."

"Hm~m." Rin agreed again.

"Should you not say something like 'I feel the same, Luvia-sama. You are my first true friend as well,' Rin?"

"You said I was your friend, and I agreed. Keep your hands off Shirou, though."

"Oh? Are friends not meant to share their toys?" Luvia smirked a little bit.

"I will be happy to have you into our lives, just not our bedroom, alright?"

"But Rin, we are sharing a bed already." Luvia pouted.

"You know what I meant."

"Yes, yes. I know."

"Luvia?"

"Yes, miss Tohsaka?"

"You are my first magus friend, too."

Luvia smiled and made herself comfortable, lifting her hand off the water and reaching for one of the pumice stones they had been using to cover for soap.

"Some incense would be lovely." She commented.

"You are pretty high maintenance, are you not?"

"I am worth it."

"Yes, yes. How about you show me that gorilla statue you mentioned before?"

"The one across the spring? Are you feeling some sort of kinship, miss gorilla?"

"That was so funny, I forgot to laugh." Rin did smile a little, though. "Will you or will you not?"

"Of course, just follow me."

The blonde began swimming across the large spring at a leisurely pace, and Rin went after her.

~O~

The statue was just as Luvia had described it. An enormous gorilla sitting in lotus posture under an arc of beautifully carved stone, though his hands rested before him as if waiting for something, rather than on his thighs. Even while sitting, however, the statue was three or four times as tall as they were.

It sat atop a low but wide circular platform right on the middle of a round cavern, the walls covered in red crystals so large they reached up to the girl's hips. There was an stone chest near the gorilla's feet, though it was empty, and what looked like a prayer carved upon it hands.

Oh lord of the darkness,
Of men who are not men,
Give us strength and suffering,
In equal measure.

Let our bodies be pleasing to you,
And our minds quieted from this conscious thought.
Let us find the inner rages,
And loose them upon the earth.

We give our sacrifice into your hands,
Appease your thirst in the slickness of blood.
Grant us the power of your might,
The eternal strength of Hanuman.

"Well, is this statue Hanuman itself, or is Hanuman some sort of philosophy, you think?" Rin looked over to Luvia as the blonde's dripping form walked around the statue.

"Hard to tell."

"Hey, Luvia."

"Yes?"

"Were these guys here last time you came?"

A trio of psychic imprints wandered out of nowhere towards the statue, prostrating themselves in adoration, one of them placing a human heart upon the statue's waiting hands.

"Yes, they are harmless." Replied the blonde.

"That is a human heart they are gifting the statue with."

"The psychic imprint of a human heart." Corrected the blonde.

"Right. Well, remind me to come back for the crystals later. I would like to cover up some before going near those edges."

"Yes, alright."

The girls went back into the water, and began making their way back when Luvia sunk under the surface. Fearing her friend may have been pulled down by an animal of some sort, Rin followed, and was quite relieved to find her swimming down on her own, heading towards a cluster of luminescent plants in the bottom.

There were pillars in the water. Large square columns seemingly thrown about at random. It was hard to imagine someone going through the bother of carving pointlessly underwater, so these must have obviously fulfilled some purpose in a now forgotten past.

As it turns out, there was an underwater tunnel leading back into the spring, so the girls emerged together and sat on the steps leading out of the water.

"Alright, I feel ready to work now." Luvia leaned back unto her elbows with a smile. "I will go build that animal pen."

"I will get started on our armours. How much covering do you want?"

"What do you mean?"

"I guess you could call it light, medium or heavy armour. Typically, more protection comes at the cost of agility."

"Ideally, we would let our familiars run into melee while we support from the back, so heavy seems best, just in case."

"Yes, I agree." Rin nodded. "Once we get silk, I will also make us some clothes."

"Yes, please!"

They got out of the water, and whimpered a little as they dried up and dressed in their hemp clothes. Rin went over towards their armorer's bench, while Luvia went out to get started on the animal pen's foundations.

~O~

"I apologise if this sounds offensive, but, what is the name of your people?" Asked Shirou after putting an arrow through the open mouth of a charging terrorbird and another through its chest, dropping it in a few moments, then drawing out his skinning knife.

"We are the people of Lemuria. Lemurians." Replied Adon as he watched Shirou disassemble the bird and store it inside his bracelet.

"Is that the name of this region?" Asked the redheaded young man.

"No, Lemuria is... it was the name of an archipelago in the far east. It sank under the waves thousands of years ago."

"Oh, so its like this world's Atlantis, then?"

"Yes."

The pirate sat cross-legged while waiting for Shirou to finish. They had tied his hands behind his back, and secured his arms with loops of rope. It looked slightly cartoonish, but it worked.

"There must be a long history on how your people got here." Shirou finished storing the bird away.

"Thousands of years long."

"So... what's the name of these lands, then?"

"We are in the forgotten city of Xel Ha." Explained Adon. "In ancient times, it covered this entire shoreline. We were a thriving people, until the betrayal."

"Sounds like a complicated story."

"It is." Nodded the spear man. "Don't shoot, in Dagon's name!"

"Eh?" Shirou looked around, and noticed two archers squatting on the branches overhead.

"This young man is helping! Don't shoot!" Adon stepped in front of Shirou.

"What about your prisoner?" Asked someone Shirou couldn't see.

"Just a pirate. My guest agreed to help take him captive as long as we gave him a 'fair trial'."

Laughter erupted from all around.

"Oh, yes, it will be a very fair trial." Said a young woman of about Shirou's age dressed in armor identical to Adon's, plus a leather mask covering the upper half of her face. There was a long and thin two-handed blade on her back. "Fast, too."

Shirou could tell the pirate was going to be facing a kangaroo court at best. He also knew the man was absolutely guilty, though, so that was... okay.

~O~

"Hey." Rin called out as she climbed out of the hut and found Luvia busy outside.

The blonde had built a chest-high stone platform in the shape of a half moon, and was busy engraving multiple magic circles on its surface. The platform looked large enough for many cars to park side by side, and Rin wondered if that was truly neccesary or just Luvia going overboard with it.

"Hm? Nice look." Said Luvia as soon as she saw Rin.

The black haired girl was wearing thick leather armour generously reinforced with iron plates. Greaves, vambraces, gauntlets and pauldrons each of which had a metal plate studded into place, with a plaid kilt reaching slightly under the knees, with plenty of iron studs poking out of it.

"Well, now you really are Xena, I guess." Luvia commented softly. "Is mine ready, too?"

"Yes it is, and I think you will love it."

"Love it? Not like it?"

"No, you will love it, come on down and I will help you don it."

"Alright, but let me finish this first. I think the foundations was the hardest bit. Besides, I'd rather take another bath before putting on nice clean clothes."

"Don't you want to at least put the boots on?"

"Yes. Yes I would, just let me rub the sand off, first..."

Rin looked at Luvia's feet. Nobody has ever accused hemp sandals of being comfortable footwear. Not only were they itchy, but they also failed miserably at keeping the hot sand away.

"Sit, I will do it, and take the chance to show you how to adjust the boot straps."

"...alright."

Luvia sat on the tall foundations, and stretched a leg ahead of her as Rin squatted and pulled out a cloth, holding her foot by the ankle and beginning to rub it clean.

"The hemp cloth sort of takes away from the experience."

"Oh, the Edelfelt princess sure is hard to please."

"Hmph." Luvia smiled in completely fake outrage.

"Keep your foot up." Rin reached into her bracelet for Luvia's boots, then slid one unto her. "This bit of fur in the edge is to help keep the sand away." She explained.

"I see."

Just a month ago, Rin wouldn't have been caught dead taking care of Luvia like this. But after a month being taken care of by the blonde, having her wipe, clean and feed her, this barely registered. It wasn't even about returning the favour, it was just... comfortable. It stirred something akin to a motherly instinct, or rather, tickled at her big sister instinct. Rin explained Luvia how to tighten the straps, then repeated the work on Luvia's other leg.

"How does it feel? We don't have accurate measuring tools so I was a bit worried about the size, but got over it after finishing mine."

"And why is that?"

"Stand up and find out."

Luvia stood up, and was quite surprised to realise the boots fit her to perfection.

"The armour is a [Mystic Code]." Rin grinned as she explained. "It helps reduce weight. "I can not tell I am wearing it at all. I think it even helps with whatever is inside the bracelet, too."

"Alright miss Tohsaka, you have impressed me." The blonde tried walking around a bit. "So much better than the sandals."

"I know, right?"

"It doesn't comes with a helmet?"

"Well, it does, but..."

"What is it?"

To her credit, Luvia did her best to hold back her laugh. She couldn't help it as Rin donned the helmet. It was the ugliest, dumbest thing she had ever seen. Even her, a complete amateur where armour is concerned, could call it ugly with little fear of being wrong. It was basically just a leather cap reaching down to cover the ears, with two iron reinforcements crossed over it. One doing the same work as a headband, with the other going from back to front and stretching down to cover the nose. It did not look like the face itself would be actually protected, though. The worst part were the long horns, pointing to the sides as if asking to get in the way whenever its wielder lifted an arm.

"I did not design it, alright!?"

"Ah~ I know. I know."

"Hmph." It was Rin's turn to be mock offended. "So, how can I help?"

"Could you bring up more wood from the chests downstairs? I will finish carving the ritual circles in the meanwhile."

"I will be right back." Rin took off the stupid looking helmet as she went back into the cave.

"Well, now she's the one looking strong and dashing." Luvia smiled, and got back to work.

~O~

The Animal Pen was finished. The cages were made out of wooden beams as thick as the girls' calves, and spacious enough to literally contain elephants, which meant the puppy-sized shellback hatchlings looked as if they could get lost in there.

"And we can see which foods they need to grow." Luvia checks the images in her mind. "Well, the easiest one would be plant fibre, but we do have a bunch of river crabs as well. Let's see... we can have a maximum of 35 familiars."

"That is... an oddly specific number." Rin raised an eyebrow. "Seems pretty arbitrary, too." She looked at the animal pen.

"I would suggest that is the limnit of whatever geas is involved in the construction of this thing." Luvia tapped the completed Animal Pen with the tip of her boot. "But even if we build another, that limit will not change."

"Hmm." Rin nodded while in thought. "So, what now?"

"Well, we could go exploring together. You have seen basically sequestered from the world for a month, so walking some before trying anything else will do you good. We can take the chance to pick up more shellback hatchlings, too."

"I thought we were going for that silk?"

"I am not arachnophobic, but cannot think of a single reason we cannot wait for the shellbacks to mature."

"Fair enough."

~O~

The pirate was, unsurprisingly, deemed guilty in record time.

As year after year of zero progress in his magical studies rolled by since Kiritsugu's death, Shirou had considered that, if he couldn't be an action hero rushing into danger to help the needy and save the day, he may as well fight for justice in a different way. Before the Grail War changed his life, he had been rigorously studying in preparation to entering law school and becoming a lawyer.

Yes, a lawyer. Japan is famous for being a safe and peaceful country, with some of the lowest crime rates in the world, but it also has its own, uniquely japanese dangers. This fact may seem strange and alien to foreigners, but in Japan, the innocence of the accused is not determined by a jury, but by a panel of judges.

More importantly, in Japan, every worker on every field is expected to be a 'team player,' a well-oiled cog in the machine that is their company, and this mentality is pervasive throughout all of japanese culture, up to and including the legal system. If a person gets arrested, the prosecutor will support the cops, the judges will support the prosecutor and each other, and the end result is that, in Japan, over 99% of court cases end in a 'guilty' verdict(1).

It may seem odd, until you consider that in Japan, there is no civilian jury. Every case is ruled on by a pannel of judges, and remember, in a panel of their peers, none of the judges wants to be the contrary, the broken cog, the brutish one that refuses to play along.

Arguably, the japanese legal system's need for a true Hero of Justice is practically overwhelming. And that's why, Emiya Shirou couldn't help but wince as he saw the pirate being dragged into the communit temple, forced to his knees before the high priestess, swiftly declared guilty, and summarily...

There was no execution.

"Take him to the Wheel of Pain. that he may properly pay for his crimes against the people." The dazzlingly beautiful high priestess commanded barely a couple of minutes into the trial.

Shirou blinked. For such ancient cultures, religious laws were practically indistinguishable from civilian law. Kings (and high priestesses) rule by divine right. Therefore every crime was an affront against the gods, and punished as such. He fully expected the Wheel of Pain to be some sort of devious execution tool (and considering the images of the pirate's crimes lingered fresh in Shirou's mind, he had half a mind to agree that it couldn't have happened to a more deserving target) but...

The wheel of pain was a large platform of raised sand held together by wooden beams sunk deep into the ground. It had a vertical pillar right in the middle of it, with four large horizontal arms pocketed by hanging metal rings. The pirate was stripped naked, herded into the platform and secured to the rings in one of the wheel's arms, then swiftly whipped until he began to push, his feet struggling for purchase even as the soft, yielding sand made the task all the harder...

"So... he's meant to push until he dies?" Shirou was of half a mind to leave and just shoot the pirate on his way out.

"What? Not at all." Adon replied while slapping Shirou's shoulder. Perhaps he had confused Shirou's musing with a legitimate question. "The wheel will impose a geas unto his mind. Within hours, he will be a dutiful servant for whoever cares to take him."

"So its mind control?" The young redhead looked at the dark haired man.

"I had never heard it said in such a way, but I guess so? He will work for the rest of his life. His treatment will be up to whomever picks claims him. Speaking of which, we are going to roll dice to see who gets to keep him. Since you aided in his capture, I thought I'd come invite you."

"No, thank you." Shirou's answer was instantaneous. "Is it irreversible?"

"No." Replied Adon. "His owner can at any time break the geas and let him go but... it's a pirate. Isn't this better than sending him back out into the world?"

"...I guess it is better than death."

"That's the spirit. Why kill him and let him rest? Just work him to death and have him help the families of those he hurt."

"Right."

"Well, feel free to look around. Maybe trade? It will be nice having a traveller from afar who is not trying to pillage and enslave. Just remember you are a guest, and it should be fine."

"...actually, that sounds nice. Perhaps I can make myself useful around here. I... really like to help, you know?"

Adon nodded with a smile, and walked off to a stone table around which a group of men and women were already waiting for him.

Shirou looked at the groaning pirate.

'Better than I hoped.' He thought.

~O~

"Are you alright?" Rin looked back and stretched a hand towards her friend.

"Yes, thank you. This armour is amazing. I can barely feel the weight, it is as if I was wearing..." Luvia accepted the dark haired girl's hand, and reached the top of the cliff. (2)

"A shirt an nothing else? Convenient, is it not?"

"Very. And it definitively affects the weight of everything else I am carrying as well, including the contents of my bracelet."

Rin nodded, and looked ahead.

They had walked north, close to the river but not by its shore (because crocodile ambush is a thing), until they spotted the partially collapsed ruins of an immense stone bridge and went to take a look at it. Each of the pillars was wide enough it would have taken over a dozen people to wrap their arms around it, and at least seven or eight floors tall. The girls decided to climb up to take a look for the road that must have once stretched off beyond the bridge, and that's why they were now atop the mesa.

"Hm~" They were staring at another large rune stone, similar to the one in the desert. They approached it, and immediately activated.

An arrogant and condescending alien voice filled their minds.

Slave, know this as the Road of Refuge.

Your people came to us as exiles, weary and harried.

When we revealed ourselves, your people fell to their knees and worshipped us.

In return, we fed and clothed you. But you came in untold numbers.

We could not clothe you all, nor would we offer you of our water or our land.

In time this led to conflict, eventually to war.

Though it caused us grief, we were forced to dominate you.

Slaves to our whim, your teacherous species will never betray us again.

"So... propaganda much?" Scoffed Rin. "That sounds like someone trying to justify themselves, poorly, and try to pass a slave rebellion as betrayal."

Luvia didn't reply. She had already wandered off looking at the road.

"It just gets lost in the sands." She said. "Let's try on the other shore."

"Just a minute." Rin walked unto the bridge and took a look below. "I think I can see the beginning of the river from here, and... oh."

The psychic remainder (aka ghost) of a rider was trotting down the bridge. The ghostly figure easily ignored gravity and continued over long-gone sections of the massive structure, unhindered.

Rin watched it go, then made her way back to her waiting friend.

"I think we could make the jump over to the next section of the bridge." She said.

They looked down. It would be a long fall. A truly long fall.

"I feel like climbing down, swimming across, then climbing up the other cliff." Commented Luvia.

"Yes... I think I feel like doing all that too." Rin replied after looking down at the fall they'd take if they couldn't make the jump. "Just to break the armour in, you know?"

""This is going to suck."" They smiled as they realised they had said it together, and began to climb down.

Author Notes:

I decided that instead of forcing myself to split a long arc into cohesive little bits, I would properly write all related ideas into a single chapter. Yes, I guess it will likely translate to 'less chapters per week,' but since this one chapter is about as long as 2-3 of the previous 'chapters' combined, I think that's probably alright.

Please review for everyone's benefit, and if you have something to say to me, remember that you can always send me a personal message. God knows I'm guilty of using the review box as 'messages to the author' instead of properly using it to write reviews on it.

Also, you can probably check out youtube for "Conan Exiles Armors" to take a look at what the armours look like. I didn't design them, I'm just trying to describe them. Yes, I agree the design of lemurian warrior armor is dumb, with its 'please insert sword here' band of unprotected chest right down the middle, but that's the way it is.

1 – I am being serious, google it up. If you're arrested and charged in Japan, you're basically fucked. Over 99%? What a polite way to say 100%

2 – Yes yes, "It's like I'm wearing... nothing at all!" and "Stupid sexy Flanders" joke goes here. I was tempted, but decided they're unlikely to watch the simpsons, and the obvious "Stupid sexy Luvia" joke would have been OoC.
