A MESSAGE TO ALL REVIEWERS:

Thanks to several Anonymous Reviews that were out of line, I have disabled Anonymous Reviews. I don't mind critisism, but telling me I'm an idiot who shouldn't ever have children is severely over the line. If you criticize my story, at least allow me the right to present my point in a reply and don't insult me personally. Insults are childish and have no place on this site.

I would also like to say that I'm a vindictive person by nature. As I previously stated, I don't mind critisism in my reviews, as long as it's done in a polite manner. Insult me in a review, where anyone can see it, I'll be impolite in my response to you in my author's notes, where anyone can see it. If you're polite, I'll be polite, and depending on the review, I'll politely inform you in an author's note or PM you. If you insult me in a PM, I'll read it, delete it, block you, and that will be the end of it. Bottom line, BE POLITE! If you think I'm being defensive, you're right. I do this for fun, but I still put in time, thought, and effort into my stories (however poor or great they may seem to you). And I take people who insult my work, paid or not, as an insult to myself. If you think I'm being childish, then you're the pot calling the kettle black as far as I'm concerned. It's human nature to defend ourselves.

I never said my stories are perfect, in fact I know they're not, it's why I don't mind polite non-insulting critisim. It helps me improve. For all of you that are polite when review, thank you and please don't stop. I do try and respond to the people who find faults, aside from spelling and grammer, with my story either in a PM or in my author's notes and try to explain why, to me at least, my logic isn't faulty, or the reasons why I've done somthing, unless I feel responding would ruin a surprise I have in store regarding my story. And somtimes people do change my mind.

Be polite, and I will too. And if you don't like my story, don't read it.

For those of you that read these profiles, I have another rant. I'm sorry if it offends anyone, but this is bugging me.

Today, I posted a new story, Secrets. It's a one-shot and I have no plans to continue it. But I got this anonymous review: "Stop writing new stories, and finish the stories you already have ffs!

Now, if this was for another, multi-chaptered story, I'd understand it. I already have too many in progress works posted on this site. However, to get this review on a COMPLETE ONE-SHOT, ticked me off.

Honestly, I get that unfinished stories are annoying, there are several stories on site that I wish authors would just hurry up and finish. Considering that one of my favorite stories of all time on this site is only two chapters long, and I hope every day to see an update, I understand completely.

That said, when a story is complete, what is wrong with posting it? Even if you have multiple unfinished stories posted? It's not like I plan on starting a whole new story, just to leave another work-in-progress that is unfinished. Many times, I never plan to come-back to my one-shots. I'll admit that it has happened that several months later I get the inspiration to add on to a plotline (Living Life/Life Collapses, His, The WWSD), but I don't post one-shots thinking 'Oh this will be another great, unfinished story for me to leave dangling in front of my readers.

Seriously! Do you guys know just how held back I am, having ONLY 26 WIP's? I have 113 UN-POSTED WIP's on my computer. I know because I just went through and counted them. That's not even counting the ideas I have in my head that I haven't yet posted, or the 12 I gave up on and put up for adoption. And after getting that review, I was sorely tempted to post each and every one, some of witch are only in the first chapter, and some of which I'm several chapters into.

I wish I could say that yes, I can focus on one story and finish it, I really do. And I applaud those authors on this site that are capable of it. If any of you are reading this, even if I'm not a fan of the genre's you write in, I applaud you for this ability to focus on one story.

BUT I CAN'T DO IT!!!

My mind simply does not work this way, even as I'm writing this, my mind is going on three constantly changing tangents. When I'm inspired, I write, when I'm not, I work on something else. I may know what I want to happen in the story, but for some reason, translating what I want is not that easy.

I'm going to use Magus, Grim, and Nightshade as an example, for those of you who have not read it

Everyone whose read to this point no doubt knows that I am having Sabertooth train Hermione. Now here is the problem, I know that Sabertooth is going to train Hermione, but HOW is he going to do it? And, more importantly, how AM I, as the writer, going to describe the training?

If I really wanted to, I could simply write, Victor trained Hermione. That's it, the end.

You know she's been trained, but not how.

That is what I need inspiration for, In all my stories. I know what's going to happen, even with Serpent Court, which I haven't updated in several years, I know what I want to happen. But I haven't gotten the inspiration yet to describe HOW these things happen.

Again, sorry about the rant, and as I said earlier, I could understand if it were another unfinished story I was posting. But to have that comment posted with a one-shot...

It's not like I'm doing this for money, where an unfinished story is going to ruin me. This is a hobby, one I do fo fun. And to get comments like that, that make absolutely no sense being posted in such circumstances, annoys me to the point that I find it hard to continue writing, simply because it's stuck in my head and annoying the life out of me that I can't focus on what I'm writing and I lose that precious inspiration.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy these tales of mine that you choose to read, unfinished or not.

Unless the stories are in PLEASE ADOPT ME! or listed as Complete, they are active, even if I haven't updated in forever. Harry Potter:

Harry/Tonks- No offense to Remus, but how the hell does Tonks end up married to him. She's so posotive and happy, he's dreary and a little depressing.

Harry/Bellatrix- I just think Bellatrix is cool and would of loved to see more of her in the books.

Harry/Multi- I'm a guy, getting two or more girls at the same time is every strait guy's fanasy. Let me dream.

Harry/Fleur- I just find the whole Veela thing interesting. The book really doesn't explain Veela that much so there are a lot of posibilities

Harry/Hermione- There is no way in HELL that Hermione ends up with Ronald Bilius Weasley!! I don't know what J.K. was smoking, but it did nothing good. I saw hope when Ron walked out of the tent in Deathly Hallows, maybe Ron and Hermione was just a plot twist that would lead to the eventual Harry and Hermione pairing. BUT NO!! They had to accept him back so easily, when he's abandoned them several times and is the cause of most of Harry and Hermione's disagreements. WHAT THE FUCK!!

Twilight:

Bella/Alice- Again, I'm a guy. GO TEAM ALICE!!

ATLA:

Azula/Katara- I'm a guy, plus I really like both characters.

Teen Titans:

Raven/Robin- sorry, but I just can't see her and Beast Boy

Raven/Starfire- do I really need to explain

I like to make darker, conflicted, or bottled up characters. It makes them seem more real in my opinion. Also, I love critisism in my reveiws. Sure I also like compliments, but it's only through discovering our faults and learning from them that we can improve.

I apologize if my stories take a while to update. I make these stories up as I go, not to say that I don't have a plan, I have A, D, M, T, and Z, all the the major parts of my stories, iI just have to fill in the letters in between.

Gods and Goddesses of Roanapur

I was joking around with one of my friends, and somehow we ended up comparing the residents of Roanapur to the Olympian Gods. We could only name a few, but I decided that I would match each Olympian with a Black Lagoon Character. Please note that while I preferred same gender matched to each character, there were a couple instances where the best character matched a god of the opposite sex. Anyway, here’s my list (since list of the Greek Olympians very, I listed all fourteen, not just the twelve of the Olympian council) along with my reason for choosing each character.

Zeus – Mr. Chang

Chsng is the most powerful man in Roanapur, effectively the King of the city. Even Balalaika respects him enough to inform him of her operations.

Hera – Balalaika

If Chang is the most powerful man in Roanapur, Balalaika is the most powerful woman, effectively Queen of the City. She is also perhaps the most feared, the one everyone worries about angering. And when she does, well people die. The subtext chemistry between her and Chang, despite being enemies, doesn’t hurt.

Poseidon – Dutch

Dutch is captain of the Black Lagoon PT Boat, and is effectively the most capable captain operating out of Roanapur.

Demeter – Greenback Jane

Jane is a mostly peaceful person, definitely out of place in Roanapur. Aside from that, the reason she’s listed as Demeter is the fact she’s a counterfeiter. Effectively, she’s a ‘Money Tree.’

Apollo – Lotton the Wizard

This one was difficult. Most of my first choices for Apollo were used for other Gods/Goddesses, and I didn’t want any repeats. But I finally figured out who to use. Apollo is the god of poetry. Since Lotton seems to always be monologue with his entrances (which usually results in him getting shot) I chose him for Apollo. Not to mention that, Apollo is the god of healing and after the Greenback Jane chase, Lotton took Shenhua to the hospital and helped Sawyer.

Artemis – Revy

Temperamental and accurate. Revy was really the only choice I had for Artemis. That and the fact she enjoys hunting people.

Ares – Roberta

While perhaps not the obvious choice, I chose Roberta because she is, effectively, the only character to wage her own private war ALONE. The fact that she was actually winning that war is just icing on the cake.

Athena – Eda

Undercover CIA agent and skilled gunslinger. There really wasn’t another contender for the Goddess of Intelligence and Strategic Warfare.

Hephaestus – Benny

The most technologically capable character in Black Lagoon, he really was the only choice for Hephaestus.

Aphrodite – Shenhua

Shenhua is attractive, of course most of the women in Black Lagoon are. But the main reason I put her as Aphrodite is the fact that she’s the only female character we actually witness putting make-up on herself.

Hermes – Rock

If Hermes is the Messenger of the Gods, Rock is the Messenger of Roanapur. Well known around Roanapur as one of the few people not to carry a gun, Rock is one of the few men in the city that can be trusted NOT to double cross and kill you. Add in his usefulness to the various factions of the city, despite his employment by Lagoon Company, and he was really the only option.

Dionysus – Rowan ‘Jackpot’ Pigeon

Owener of the GoofFest Strip club, Rowan was really the only option for the god of Festivals (parties) and wine (alcohol). Bao could have been considered, except he really doesn’t throw parties at the Yellowflag.

Hades – Sawyer the Cleaner

As the best Cleaner in Roanapur, there was no other option for Hades. Sawyer is the one to dispose of all those bodies.

Hestia – Yolonda

Much like Apollo, Hestia was a hard one to match, namely because there really aren’t any peacekeepers in Roanapur. That said, Hestia is (depending on myth) the oldest Olympian. As the oldest resident of Roanapur, Yolonda fit. Not to mention she is, relatively, peaceful, only attacking when her home, the Church of Violence/Rip-Off Church, is attacked. I really couldn’t think of anyone else that fit Hestia.

10. Voldemort is a human wizard, but Demona is a gargoyle sorceress.

9. Voldemort dreams of being immortal, Demona is immortal.

8. Voldemort’s primary weapon is a wand, Demona’s primary weapon is either a Mace or a Laser Cannon.

7. Demona hasn’t been beaten by a 15-month year old infant.

6. Voldemort is trying to conquer the UK. Demona is trying to wipe out humanity, worldwide.

5. Demona has actually procreated, in cannon.

4. Demona has a valid reason for being a villain (even if her personal logic behind it is faulty). Voldemort has daddy issues.

3. Voldemort means flight from death, revealing just what he’s afraid of. Demona got her name because she ‘fights like a demon.’

2. Demona is sexy, in both human and gargoyle form. Voldemort…is kinda creepy looking.
