I don't own Kim Possible. I often reference people, places, and things. I Don't own them either. I only own my OC Jack Giri.

Chapter seven: Date, not date.

Shego awoke to the bright warm sunlight shining on her face. She stretched and looked around seeing that she wasn't in her room, than she remembered Jack had let her stay the night on his boat. She smiled, feeling refreshed. It was the best sleep that she could remember and for the first time in a while, no nightmares.

Shego than smelled fish cooking which smelled amazing and made her mouth water. Looking around the room Shego got an idea to mess with Jack. Getting up she went to the dresser, going through his clothes a devious smile grew on her beautiful face. "Yes this will do nicely." She said grinning as she held onto one of his shirts.

Meanwhile Jack was in the kitchen cooking breakfast when he heard the bedroom door open. "Good morning I hope you like fi…" He started to say till he turned his head and saw Shego, his eyes nearly popping out of his head. "Good morning." Shego said in a sultry voice as she stood stretched out leaning in the doorway. She was only wearing her lacy black thong and bra along with one of his shirts which was open to show her hot, toned body and ample cleavage. The shirt she was wearing was black with sunsets on it.

Jack quickly ran over to her and grabbed both sides of the shirt and closed it over her body. "What are you doing? Put some clothes on!" Jack exclaimed before turning her around and pushing her back into the bedroom before shutting the door. Well that wasn't the reaction she was expecting. Shego stood there blinking her eyes in confusion. "He acted like he never seen boobs before. But that can't be possible could it? I mean he must have women throwing themselves at him all the time." Shego thought. She considered the fact that he could be gay but decided it was very unlikely.

Jack stood with his back against the door clutching his chest before letting out a long breath and going back to the kitchen. A few moments later Shego came back out, this time wearing the same dress from the night before. Her hair was a little matted from sleep but she was still beautiful. "You happy now?" Shego asked sounding quite irritated. Jack just nodded with a smile. "So is that normally how you act when you see a naked woman or is it just me?" Shego asked indignantly. "Actually I normally run away screaming." Jack joked. Shego scowled at him. "Ok, I just don't like loose women alright?" Jack said calmly. He thought she was a loose woman? "How dare he!?" Shego thought as she was about to go off on him but considered that maybe she had gone a little too far.

Stopping her outburst Shego let out a long sigh before looking at him. "Ok maybe I went a little too far with the teasing. But I'm not loose, got that?" Shego ended firmly as she pointed her finger at him in warning. "It's ok Shego. I forgive you." Jack said with a warm smile. Shego couldn't help but smile in return as she walked up beside him. "So fish for breakfast? It smells good." Said Shego. This was great! Drakken never made her breakfast, not that she would accept it if he did.

"Yea, as I started to say before you distracted me. I hope you like fish." Jack said as he glanced over at her. "Yes I like fish. You know you can be distracting yourself." Shego said in her normal tone as she went to go sit at the table, crossing her arms and legs as she watched him. Jack had a feeling she wasn't just talking about his appearance but he was so used to women fawning over him that he dismissed her just out of habit. "Let us focus on our friendship before we get into anything else." He told her.

"I think you misunderstand. I was referring more to your behavior. See, very rarely am I caught off guard or surprised, you manage to do that consistently. …It's a nice change of pace."Shego finished with a devious smile which made jack chuckle. Just a few short moments later Jack brought the food as he came and sat across from her. "Hey are you calling me fat?" Shego joked as she noticed that her portion was bigger than his. In truth she didn't mind. She ate more than most girls due to the energy her powers consumed.

"No not at all. I just don't eat very much. Over the years I have trained my body to have a very slow metabolism. Show for a human anyways. I find having to eat all the time just gets in the way. Besides, food bourse me." Jack told her. As Shego took the first bite her eyes lit up, it was amazing! "Are you kidding!? This is amazing!" Shego exclaimed before devouring her meal.

Jack just shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. "I cook the way it feels right." Jack told her. "You mean to tell me you cook just by feeling?" Shego asked surprised as she was almost done eating. Jack than began eating . "I do everything based on feeling. Cooking, fighting, life choices." Jack replied.

Yet again Shego was surprised Here was someone who lived by feeling. So that must mean he had no fear of his feelings, she figured. She wished she could say the same. Jack could tell something was bothering her, tho she hid it well. It was probably due to their connection that he could tell. "What's wrong shego?" He asked warmly. Shego had just finished eating and looked up no meet his gaze.

"it's just, again you have really surprised me. But I guess I really need to get used to that. I mean you tell me you retrained your body like some machine, than you tell me you live your life solely on feeling." Shego replied. Jack got up to get the coffee he forgot. He could tell there was more to it than that but he didn't want to force her to tell him anything she wasn't ready to. Not that he would be able to in the first place her figured.

"It's ok Shego. Humans are extremely complex and often don't make sense." Jack said with a smile as he came back with the coffee. Shego conceded that that may be true, but her degree in phycology really wasn't doing anything for her here. "Mmm, thanks. This is good." Shego said as she took a sip of her coffee. "So when are you going to start training me?" She asked as she watched him finish his fish. "Not today. When were done here I have to go meet up with Kim so we can go home. I guess you will just have to brake Drakken out of jail than come find me some time." Jack replied.

Shego was surprised again. She really had to quit that. He was telling her to go brake Drakken out? She wanted to ask why but decided not to. She was never going to get use to his strange behavior if she kept letting him surprise her. Shego nodded than finished her coffee. "Thanks for breakfast." Shego said as she got up. "Any time." Jack replied as he began to clean up. "Any time huh? I guess I'll have to take you up on that offer." Shego said with a bit of a devious grin before leaving.

After Shego was gone and all was cleaned up Jack loaded his boat back on the trailer and went to go meet Kim. To his surprise she was training with her nana, and getting beat by the looks of it. "The old woman's got it huh?" Jack thought. "Hey Kim you ready to go after you pick yourself up off the ground and scrape the dirt out your teeth?" Jack called out as he watched from his place behind the wheel.

"Hey why don't you come try it?" Kim questioned as she got up and dusted herself off. "Nah, too lazy." Jack replied. "Coward." Kim taunted. Jack just made some chicken noises. Kim hugged her nana before saying goodbye and waved to her parents before getting in the Jeep and driving off. "So did you have fun?" Asked Jack. "Yea it was good seeing my nana again. How was it for you?" Kim replied. "Enlightening." Jack said with a chuckle. "HA, ha, very funny." Kim replied as she crossed her arms, thinking that he was referring to the training she had with nana. "Turns out she used to be a serious martial arts master back in the day." Kim continued. "Looks like she still is." Jack said shooting her a smirk. "I swear Jack if you tell anyone…" Kim warned as she pointed a finger at him. "I haven't told anyone you smoke weed have I?" Jack replied teasingly. "I do not smoke weed!" Kim shouted.

A few days later Kim got in Jack's Mazda to go home as usual, shutting the door she was clearly excited. "So I asked Josh out today and guess what?" Kim said barely able to contain her excitement. "What?" Jack asked humoring her. He already knew the answer. "He said yes!" Kim exclaimed with a girlish squeal. "See Kim, I knew you could do it." Jack said with an amused grin as he started the engine. "And it's all thanks to you!" Kim said giving him a big hug before buckling herself in.

Jack just looked at her confused. "What did I do?" He asked. "What do you mean what did you do? You're the one that told me just to ask." Kim replied. Jack simply shrugged. "No big." He said as he began to drive. "Oh can you drop me off at the mall? I just have to go tell Monique!" Squealed Kim. "Sure, why not?" Jack replied with a shrug.

Jack dropped Kim off at the mall but as he began to drive away he felt Shego's presence again. The presence was weak so she must of just been entering his field of radar, whatever that may be. He didn't know if she was coming to this location but he figured if she was coming to see him he best get since Kim was nearby. He figured she could find him if she wanted him.

Shego had felt Jack's presence for a moment before the feeling left her. He must have left her field of range, however big that might be. She would have to go see him later she figured. Right now she was taking Dr. Drakken to the mall. It had something to do with his latest schema to get rid of Kim possible. He tried explaining it to her but she had become bored with his explanation and tuned him out. She doubted it would work anyway.

Arriving at the mall they landed on the roof and snuck in threw the air vents. "Why do I always get stuck doing stupid things?" Shego thought to herself as she fallowed Drakken. He then stopped and opened the large grate than hooked himself to the vent and lowered himself down. Shego watched as he sprayed Kim Possible with some sort of pink mist from some device he had in his hand before retracting himself back into the vent. "Got her." Drakken said as he grinned, giving Shego the thumbs up. She just rolled her eyes.

"What was that?" Kim asked out loud as she looked around, not seeing anything. She could have sworn she had been sprayed by something wet. She shrugged, figuring she must have just been imagining things. She still had to go tell Monique about her date tonight with Josh. Walking towards the escalators it was than she came face to face with her arch rival, Bonnie Rockwiller.

"Hey K, I heard you asked out Josh Mankey. How does your boyfriend feel about you cheating on him like that?" Bonnie asked in her usual snarky tone as she flipped her hair and stood with her hands on her hips, a venomous smirk painted across her face. "Jack is not my boyfriend Bonnie." Kim said crossing her arms as she glared at her rival. "Don't worry Kim. Nothing wrong with slutting it up for older men." Bonnie said flipping her hair again. "But if he's really not your boyfriend than maybe I should go talk to him." Bonnie continued with a devious smirk. "You stay away from him! He's too good for a slut like you!" Kim ordered as she repeatedly poked Bonnie in the chest. "Oh? Than if he's so good than why aren't you sleeping with him?" Bonnie asked slyly, clearly not caring about Kim's threats.

Meanwhile Shego was watching the two girls from inside the vent as she was fuming at their conversation. Due to her powers she also had super hearing so she could make out every ward being said. She wanted to jump down and rip this new girl to pieces for implying she would do such things to Jack. "Wait, why am I so mad? Not like he's my boyfriend. Or that I even have those kinds of feelings for him." Shego thought to herself. Finally she decided it must be out of some loyalty she felt towards him since he had so easily accepted her. Drakken looked at Shego confused. She wasn't paying attention to him. She was clearly mad about something. What, he did not know. But after the last round of Drakken goes ouch he figured it best not to ask.

"You just stay away from him Bonnie and we'll be just fine." Kim threatened before she began to walk away. As she began to walk away Bonnie tripped her and she fell down the escalator. Landing on her back Kim looked around to see all the people looking at her, she was embarrassed. Kim than felt a strange feeling in her midsection. When she looked she saw a strange swirling void where her belly button use to be and took off running.

Seeing this Shego was mildly amused but she had already begun thinking about Jack and wanted to go see him. "Alright Dr. D I'm out of here." Shego said as she turned to leave. "Wait Shego, don't you want to see what happens next?" Drakken asked as he motioned with his hands. "What do you mean what happens next? She ran away, and it's not like we can just go down there. Now come on." Shego said before turning to leave again. Drakken sulked with his arms crossed but fallowed her.

Back at the lair Shego had changed into a disguise. A green loose fitting turtle neck sweater, black silk slacks which hugged her rear end nicely, and black high heel boots. On her head she wore a shoulder length blonde wig, dangly diamond ear rings, blue contacts, black oval shaped wire frame glasses, and a bit of makeup to help hide her green compaction with both lips covered in her trademark black lipstick. Leaving her room she didn't even bother telling Dr. Drakken that she was leaving as she made her way to the hover car.

Back at home Jack was working on his Jeep as it sat up on the lift that was in his large garage. He then began to feel Shego's presence again and knew she was coming here. Stopping what he was doing Jack went back to the kitchen and washed his hands before putting on a cup of coffee. Jack's house was a normal size two story white house with large garage.

About ten minutes later Shego was above his house and activated the hover car's cloaking device before landing in his front yard. Stepping out Shego began walking towards the front door only for Jack to open the door as she began her approach. He stood in the doorway with two cups of coffee in his hands as he watched her with a rather bewildered look on his face. "Thanks." She said as she took the cup of coffee from his hand and stepped inside. Jack watched her as he shut the door and fallowed her into the kitchen, which was just to the right. "Take it you don't like my disguise." Shego said as she leaned against the counter and took a sit of her coffee. "Blonde hair, blue eyes, and glasses. Three things I like, just not on you." Jack replied as he approached her, coming to stop less than a foot from her.

"Well I guess you can't beat perfection." Shego joked and they both laughed. There was a comfortable silence as they looked at each other before Jack began to speak. "How you been Shego?" He asked warmly as he looked into her eyes. It felt weird but not uncomfortable with them now being blue instead of green. Shego just shrugged. "Same old same old I guess." Shego replied. She thought the question was a bit stupid but she appreciated it none the less.

"Nice place you got here." Shego said looking around. The kitchen was small and simple. Everything was white and there was plenty of counter space running the back and the left wall, with a small both style breakfast nook in the right corner. She could see herself living in a place like this. It felt homey and comfortable. Something she had last felt when she was with him on his boat. Jack just shrugged. "Home is where the heart is. And I'm not sure where my heart is." He said. "Maybe it's closer than you think." Shego said with a devious smirk as she stepped closer and playfully caressed the side of his face. "Oh no. You got to lose the wig first." Jack joked as they both laughed.

Normally something like that would have gotten a girl thrown out but somehow it didn't feel uncomfortable with her. He knew it was all in good fun anyways. Just than Jack's Kimmunicator went off. Shego frowned as she watched him answer it. "What's up wade?" Jack asked just as normally as can be, just as if he didn't have a world renowned villainess with him in his kitchen standing only about a foot away.

"Kim's been trying to get a hold of you for hours." Wade told him. "Must of turned my phone off." Jack said taking a sip of his coffee, seemingly not caring. "Yea, well we got a bit of a situation. Seems Drakken has sprayed Kim with some sort of chemical. Take a look at this." Wade said before showing Jack a mall security video of Drakken swooping down and spraying Kim with something before disappearing. "Alright Wade what's the part I need to know?" Jack asked as Wade came back on screen, wanting to cut right to the chase.

"What you need to know is whatever this stuff is it makes a bit of Kim disappear every time she gets embarrassed. Good news is it seems to only last 24 hours, so as long as Kim doesn't totally disappear by then she will be ok." Wade informed him. "So tell her to stay inside and don't talk to anyone." Jack said sounding just a bit annoyed. "That's just the thing. Kim has a date with Josh tonight and she won't listen." Replied Wade. "So I have to go play babysitter." Sighed Jack. "Great…" He continued in a depressed tone.

"Hey I'm really sorry to bother you with this. Your clearly busy with something important." Apologized Wade. "It's alright Wade. It's not your fault." Jack said before turning off the Kimmunicator and letting out a long sigh. He then turned his attention back to Shego. "You know I hate to ask, but what do you know about this?" Said Jack. Shego stood frowning deeply at him. She was as displeased about being bothered as he was. "Stupid Drakken!" She thought.

"Not much really. I know Drakken sprayed her with something but I have no clew what it's supposed to do." Shego told him honestly. Drakken had told her but she wasn't paying attention. "Yea well from what I've gathered it could kill Kim. Did you know about that!?" Jack asked becoming angry. He didn't actually believe she knew, he was just mad that Kim's life was in danger.

"Hey don't yell it me alright! I didn't know!" Shego growled. She herself was upset at the situation. She didn't know and didn't want to be part of someone's death. Jack let out a long sorrowful sigh as he placed his right hand over his face. "I'm sorry. I didn't think you did. I'm just mad about this situation. I didn't mean to yell at you. I'm sorry Shego." Shego stood blinking at him in shock. He was really sorry for yelling at her. "It's alright, I get it." Shego managed to reply weakly.

"You know I hate to ask but I think you need to help me with this." Shego just blinked in shock again. He wanted her help? Sure she might have been partly responsible but it seemed like it would be more trouble than it was worth. As far as everyone else knew they were enemies. If it got out that they were working together it would cause quite a few problems, mostly for him.

"Yea I know what I'm asking. But your partly to blame for this. Not that I actually blame you. But I don't think you want Kim's death on your conscience. And I don't want it on your conscience. I don't want you to know what that's like." Jack told her. Shego was even more shocked than ever. She was partly to blame yet he didn't blame her. Not only that but he was concerned about her wellbeing in the process. This made Shego feel strange. For the first time in her life she felt like someone genuinely cared about her. Yea maybe she knew before, but it wasn't till now that she really realized it.

"Y-yea. Whatever you need." Shego replied, doing her best to give him a genuine smile despite her shock. "Great. I'll go get changed than we can get going." Jack said before guzzling his coffee and walking out the room. A second later he came back. "But seriously, lose the wig." Jack said before walking out the room again. Shego sighed and took off the wig, placing it on the counter behind her as she finished her coffee.

A few minutes later Jack came back wearing a blue dress shirt with the top two buttons undone and the sleeves rolled half way up his forearms. He also was wearing cream dress pants and brown leather dress shoes. Shego didn't really like the color blue, for reasons that were her own, but she had to admit it looked good on him. She could tell that he had put on some cologne thanks to her enhanced sense of smell. Not to say he didn't smell good to her normally but the extra touch was nice.

"You didn't tell me we were going on a date." Shego teased with a smirk. "Well as far as everyone else knows we are. If were tailing Kim and Josh on their date than an average couple is the perfect disguise." Jack replied with a crooked amused grin. "Average couple." Shego mused to herself. They were anything but.

"You ready?" Jack asked as he grabbed his keys off the counter. "Yea I'm ready." Shego replied as she walked over to him and they headed out the door. Walking out to his black Mazda Jack opened the passenger door for her and waited for her to get inside. "My, my, he's already playing the date role rather well." Shego mused to herself as she got in and he shut the door.

About 15 minutes later they were parked down the street from Kim's house, hidden in the darkness just out of view from the street light. "So this is princess' house huh?" Shego asked. "Yea, and don't think about doing anything devious with this information." Jack warned. "Don't worry I won't" Shego said, crossing her arms. Just than a red Mazda Miata pulled into Kim's driveway. Jack pulled out a pair of binoculars from beside his seat and began watching . He watched as a skinny teenage boy with spiky blonde hair got out and rang the doorbell. A few minutes later Kim came out.

Shego also watched the scene unfold . She did not need binoculars like Jack thanks to her super human eyesight. "Hmm, he's kind of cute." Shego mused out loud. "Easy there Shego. He's under age. Didn't think you were looking to add cradle robber to your list of offences." Jack replied. Shego couldn't help but chuckle. "I'm not." She said. They watched as Kim and Josh got in Josh's car and drove off, passing right by them. "Alright lets go." Jack said as he started the engine. Shego simply looked at him and nodded.

Jack and Shego fallowed them to the local Olive Garden. They got a seat on the far side of the room where they could clearly see Kim and Josh sitting in the middle of the room. "So what do you know about this Josh guy?" Shego asked as she sat with crossed arms. "Nothing. All I know is he's supposed to be the hottest guy in school or something." Jack replied as he watched them. A waitress than came up to their table. She was a tall busty blonde with long hair, blue eyes, and glasses. The kind Shego remembered Jack mentioning that he liked.

"Hello, my name is Amy. I'll be your server tonight . What can I get for you to drink?" The waitress asked. To Shego's surprise Jack showed no interest in her. "I'll have a water." Jack replied and the girl smiled than turned to look at Shego. "I'll have a water as well." Said Shego. "Two waters. I'll be right back." The waitress said before walking off. Shego sighed and placed her hands on the table as she looked at Kim and Josh. Nothing was probably going to happen so she might as well enjoy the night she thought.

Hearing her sigh Jack's attention was immediately drawn back to Shego. "Hey Shego, you alright?" Jacked asked looking concerned. "Huh? Oh yea. Just this whole situation seems strange. Kinda surreal, ya know?" Shego replied. "Not really. Normal is just a social construct. I just take life how it comes. But if you're talking about you and I… Don't worry about it. I'm sure there's bound to be many great adventures ahead. Jack finished with a smile, causing Shego to smile back.

It was than Jack saw Shego's hand on top the table and noticed her fingernails. They were painted black but they weren't like normal fingernails. They were long and sharp like little daggers, and their consistency didn't look like that of normal human fingernails. They looked more like they were made from some kind of stone.

Shego saw Jack looking at her fingernails and quickly hid them under the table. "I uh… No my fingernails aren't normal. Their almost like rock and they grow really fast. I constantly have to file them so there not too sharp." Shego said sounding a bit embarrassed and ashamed. She kind of expected him to freak out but she didn't actually expect him to leave her at this point.

Jack just smiled warmly at her. "Don't worry Shego, I think it's kinda cool. I actually sort of like them." Jack said reassuringly. Shego looked into his eyes and blushed just a little as she put her hands back on the table. Seeing that Shego had relaxed he decided to make a joke. "So stone fingernails? Next you will tell me you got barb wire for pubes." Shego laughed as she covered her mouth. "No but it has teeth." Shego Joked back and they both laughed.

Amy than came back with their waters. "Alright do you know what you would like this evening?" Amy asked. "I'll have the chicken piccata." Shego said, looking at the menu. "I'll have the same." Jack said without any thought and handed Amy his menu. "Coming right up." Amy said as she took the menus and walked away.

It was than Jack noticed Drakken out the corner of his eye. He was sitting at a booth on the other side of the room, frantically slamming his finger into something Jack assumed to be some kind of communication device. "Ok, either he's stupid for coming out in public without a disguise or we give him way too much credit as a threat and no one actually knows who he is." Jack thought to himself.

Shego than fallowed his gaze and saw Dr. Drakken. "That idiot!" Shego fumed as she slammed her fists on the table. "I think he's trying to contact you." Jack said as he turned back to her. "Ops, must of left my communication device back at the lair." Shego said sarcasticly, faking shock. "Well we should be careful." Jack told her. "Not really. He never saw my disguise, and I really don't think he remembers who you are. So we should be fine." Shego told him. "Suits me just fine. Knew playing the buffoon would come in handy." Jack replied.

"Playing the buffoon?" Shego questioned, cocking an eyebrow and crossing her arms. "I always let Kim take all the credit. As far as everyone else is concerned I'm not even there. And that's just the way I like it." He said. "Uh huh. And what do you think that will do for her ego? Seems to me you do all the work." Shego replied with her arms still crossed. "Never really thought of it like that. Guess I'll have to deal with it when the time comes. And no, I don't do all the work. Kim is very capable for someone her age. …Not normal even." Jack replied honestly.

Shego leaned in closer as she had become intrigued by his last statement. "I thought you said normal was just a social construct." Shego questioned as she raised an eyebrow. "Well don't take this the wrong way but the only other person I've seen move like that is you. I mean normal people can't jump 30 feet in the air and have their injuries heal overnight. I'm sure she's enhanced somehow. How that's possible I'm not sure, and it is something I have been unable to pursue. So it's irrelevant for now." Jack told her. Shego's eyes widened as she leaned over the table. "She can do that!?" Shego yelled in a whisper.

Jack leaned in so that their faces were just inches apart. "Yes. And the strange thing is that no one seems to notice. And furthermore she has green eyes. Her parents don't have green eyes. Her father has brown eyes and her mother's eyes are blue. That would make eyes more like mine." Said Jack. "Your right that is strange." Shego agreed as she sat back in her seat and rubbed her chin in thought. Just then Amy came back with their food. "Here you are, enjoy." She said handing them their food before leaving again.

"You want half of mine? I have no need for the whole thing." Jack said as he watched Shego begin to eat. Shego looked at him and blushed faintly. She thought it was sweet. "Well if you're not going to eat it…" Shego said as she whipped her mouth. Jack nodded and scooped half of his meal onto her plate. The rest of dinner went smoothly, nothing embarrassing happened to Kim and Jack paid for the meal. Which Shego was glad since she hadn't brought any money. She knew it wasn't a real date but she enjoyed it all the same.

After dinner they trailed Kim and Josh to the movies. It was a sappy romantic comity. Kim and Josh were sitting close to the screen while Jack and Shego sat further back, just below the upper level. Most of the movie went smoothly with Jack and Shego actually getting a chance to watch the movie. They both thought it was kind of stupid since love never worked how it was portrayed in movies like these but they found themselves enjoying it none the less.

Shego had forgotten all about Josh and Kim, instead she found herself starting to relax into Jack's shoulder as she ate her popcorn. Jack glanced over at her and knew that it was just one of those spur of the moment type things. It wasn't a date but if she was enjoying herself he wasn't going to stop her. Shego herself gave her actions no thought, in fact she had forgotten this wasn't a real date. In this moment she was happy. She didn't have to worry about her troubles or the fact that she was a world wanted villainess, or the fact that she was green and had freaky powers. In this moment she was just a normal girl.

Sadly it wouldn't last too long , for it was then she was shaken back to reality. "Hey, what the fuck is that?" Jack said as he pointed up at the ceiling. "Are those ninjas?" Shego said in more of a statement than a question as she sat up in attention. "Embarrassment ninjas? Come on, why we got to deal with this crap?" Jack exclaimed in frustration. "I got it." Shego said as she leapt into the air and began fighting the ninjas, knocking them onto the ground. Jack than jumped in as they both began attacking the ninjas. Shego didn't use her green fire powers for fear it would draw too much attention and give away who she was. Kim had noticed the commotion along with most the other patrons. Kim got up to check it out but all she saw was a man in a blue dress shirt and a woman with long black hair chasing two other people out the theatre. Kim ran out to see what was going on but the group was long gone.

Kim looked around a bit confused since no one was around despite the large fight that just happened. Josh than came up behind her. "What just happened?" He asked. "I'm not sure… There was some sort of a fight but no one is here now." Kim replied sounding a bit confused. "Well you wanna get out of here? Movie's almost over anyways." Asked Josh. "Sure, let's get out of here." Kim replied and they walked out arm in arm.

"We can't let them get away! If we get rid of them we shouldn't have to worry about Kim and Josh for the rest of the night." Jack said to Shego as they chased the ninjas down the dark street. "Don't worry were going to kick their asses!" Shego proclaimed as she ran alongside him. They then saw the ninjas run into a dark alley way and fallowed them in but to their surprise the ninjas were gone, and it was a dead end. "Great!" Jack said sounding aggravated before letting out a sigh. "Oh well, guess we better find Kim and Josh." Jack continued as he accepted the situation. Shego nodded and fallowed him out of the alley way as they took off running.

They soon found Kim and Josh at a nearby park and hid behind a tree as they watched them. Josh seemed to be showing Kim some mural on a wall. Shego then heard a noise from behind her and turned to see two young boys in black sneaking around. "Hey Jack." Shego said as she tapped him on the shoulder and pointed to the two boys. Turning to look he saw them. "Kim's little brothers?" Jack questioned out loud. He then walked over to the boys as Shego fallowed.

"Hey Jack." One of the boys said. "Are you on a date tonight too?" Asked the other. Jack just stood with his hands on his hips and gave them a stern look. "Does your mother know you're out this late?" He asked them. "Uhh…" One the boys said as they looked at the other. "Do I need to tell your mother that you're out this late?" Questioned Jack. The boys just looked at each other than at him before running off. Shego just chucked as she covered her mouth.

"Thanks Shego but we still need to be on the alert, those ninjas could be anywhere." Jack said as he turned to look at her. They then saw the ninjas in the tree above them. "On it." Shego said as she leapt into the tree and began fighting them. She soon knocked them both out the tree than jumped down than she and Jack began beating the shite out of them. It didn't take long for them to beat the ninjas till they couldn't move any more. They looked and saw the ninjas bloody and broken at their feet. "Great job!" Jack said as he high fived Shego. "Thanks. Would like to say I couldn't have done it without you. But the help was nice all the same." Shego said with a smirk and Jack smirked back with a chuckle.

Jack than looked at his watch and saw that it was nearly midnight. Which meant Josh would have to take Kim home, which meant their job was done. "Come on lets go home." Jack said as he gestured with his thumb in the general direction they parked. Home, that sounded nice, Shego thought. She just wished she had one. Shego fallowed him back to the car and they drove back to his pace.

"Well that was nice. We should do it again some time." Jack said with a smile as he turned to look at shego as they stood in his kitchen. Shego smirked "I doubt it will happen any time soon. I'm evil remember?" Shego told him. "Yea whatever. You can always change that." Jack said dismissively. "I'm not so sure about that." Shego said crossing her arms as she looked into his eyes. He could tell she believed she couldn't be accepted as good because of the things she had done.

"Well anyways this is for you. I kind of forgot to give it to you earlier." Jack said as he pulled a small metal object from his pocket and held it out to her. Shego's eyes widened in shock as she looked at the object. It was a key. Shego than looked at him confused. "I know you don't need a key to get in, but I wanted to let you know that you're welcome here any time." Jack told her.

Shego didn't know what to say. Part of her wanted to cry. She never imagined that anyone would just willingly open their home up to her. After a few slightly awkward moments of staring in shock Shego took the key and managed to compose herself. "How do you know I won't just come rob the place when you're gone?" Shego joked. "well I guess you're going to have to decide which you value more. My possessions. Or my friendship." Jack said with a caring smile.

"Well thanks Jack. I'll be seeing you around." Shego said with a warm smile as she turned to make her way out. She stopped in the doorway as she looked outside. She didn't want to go back to the lair, it didn't feel safe and it surly wasn't home. Shego than turned to look at Jack with almost pleading eyes. She didn't like it. She hated looking scared or weak. She also hated needing something from someone else. But for the first time in her life she actually felt like she found someone she could trust. "Hey Jack… Do you think I could, spend the night?"Shego said. She hated the way she sounded. She thought she sounded so pitiful.

Jack just chuckled as he crossed his arms and smiled at her. "Why would you even ask? You have the key don't you?" Jack asked, seeming somewhat amused. Shego felt stupid. Not because she thought she looked pitiful, but because she thought she had to ask. "Ah right. I'm such an idiot!" Shego joked, trying to play it off. Jack just laughed and Shego laughed too, still trying to play it off. Not that she was actually fooling him. "You can take my room. I don't have a guest room since I don't really get guests." Jack told her.

"What about the princess?" Shego asked. "A 16 year old spending the night with a grown man? Come on." Jack said as he shrugged his shoulders. "Good point." Said Shego. "Come on I'll show you to the bedroom." Jack said before turning and walking up the stairs. Shego shut the door and fallowed him to the bedroom. It was cozy with a log cabin theme to it. "Here we are." Jack said gesturing to the open door. "Hmm, cozy." Shego commented.

"Well see you in the morning." Jack said as he began to walk away. Shego than smirked deviously. "You could always come join me. Keep me warm." Shego said in an alluring tone. Jack stopped in his tracks and turned to look at her with a rather annoyed look on his face. "Oh no. If your cold you have plenty of blankets and a fireplace to keep you warm." He told her. "Oh no. It's just not the same without you around." Shego continued. Looking into her eyes he could see that she was only playing. In truth she was struggling not to laugh.

"Don't worry, I'll be right down stairs incase the boogie man gets ya or you have a nightmare." Jack said with a smirk. "Oh alright. Thanks Jack." Shego said with a smile. "Any time." Jack said before going downstairs. Shego went into the bedroom and took off her disguise. Then she went into the adjacent bathroom and washed off her makeup. After that she went through his dresser and pulled out a grey tee shirt with the green beret logo on the front and a pair of green plaid pajama pants and put them on. They were a little big on her but that just made them more comfy. Shego then tossed a small green fireball into the fireplace to light it than crawled into bed. The bed had a sturdy oak frame and had animal skin blankets on it, it was even more comfortable than she could have imagined. The only thing that could have made it better was someone to share it with. But Shego conceded that she couldn't have everything. Shego soon fell asleep with a huge smile on her face as she hugged the nearby pillow. All in all it had been a really great day.
