I don't own Kim Possible. I often reference people, places, and things. I don't own them either. I only own my OC Jack Giri.
Chapter eleven: It's not love.
Jack and Kim were riding around town in Jack's black Mazda after a normal day. It had been a few days since Jack last saw Brandi, and while he wouldn't admit it out loud he was missing her. He had even been sleeping on the couch since she had been gone. Which even he thought was strange, since he didn't know why he was doing it. All he knew was sleeping in the bedroom without her around didn't feel right.
"You ok Jack? You have seemed down these past few days, and I haven't smelled Brandi on you. Did you guys have a fight?" Kim said with concern at first but ten finished with a sarcastic slyness. Jack turned his attention to Kim, it seemed that he had been zoning out. "Huh?" Jack asked a bit confused. He had been thinking about Brandi.
"I said you don't smell like Brandi. Did you two have a fight?" Kim repeated normally this time. "Of course I don't smell like Brandy, I drink Whisky and Tequila." Jack Joked only to get an un amused deadpan from Kim. Jack sighed. "Ok bloodhound. Yea, sort of. But we worked it out. She's just been away on business." Said Jack. "And your heartbroken because you love her and you miss her." Kim teased. Jack didn't respond. "So what was the fight about?" Kim asked. "You." Jack replied nonchalantly. "me?" Kim asked with surprise as she placed her hand on her chest.
"I told you she was highly territorial and possessive." Jack replied. "Did you tell her were just friends?" Kim asked. "Me and Brandi are just friends." Jack replied slightly indignantly. "Riiight…" Kim said in suspicious disbelief with a raised eyebrow. "Anyways we worked it out and she reluctantly agreed to meet you. She has just been away." Jack told her. Just then Kim's Kimmunicator began beeping.
"Go wade." Kim said as she answered the device. "We have reports that Drakken is in Antarctica stealing the world's largest laser drill." Wade informed her. "Cool beans wade we are on the way." Kim said enthusiastically. Wade deadpanned. "Was that your attempt at a cold climate joke?" Wake asked sounding un amused. "Eh… Maybe?" Kim said as she shrugged her shoulders sheepishly. "You really should leave the funny stuff to Jack. Anyways there is a cargo plane waiting for you at the airport." Wade said before signing off.
"I bet a bit of Shego will take Brandi off your mind." Kim said coolly as she placed the Kimmunicator back in her pocket. "Don't you start work at Taco Bell today? I can handle this on my own." Said Jack. "That's tomorrow." Kim reminded him. Kim then chuckled. "How do you think Brandi would react if she met Shego?" Kim asked slyly. "You know, I think they would be really good friends." Jack joked. "Eww, what? Really?" Kim asked a little disgusted. Jack just chuckled. "If you only knew Kim, if you only knew." Jack thought idly.
Jack and Kim stopped by his place for their mission gear and to pick up the Jeep before heading to the airport. As they walked into the bedroom Kim sniffed the air as Jack got their gear out of the bottom dresser drawer. "Oh boy, here it comes." Jack thought as he heard Kim sniffing the air. "You sure you two are just friends?" Kim asked slyly. Yes Kim. She sleeps on the bed and I sleep on the floor." Jack said sounding un amused as he handed Kim her mission clothes. "Now go get changed. And no looking for strange hairs or whatever." Jack said as he pointed towards the bathroom.
Kim laughed, covering her mouth. "Ok Jack." Kim said as she playfully punched his arm before going into the bathroom to change. She considered looking around for clues about Brandi but decided there wasn't much point other than her own curiosity. Kim changed than came out to find Jack already changed and waiting on her.
"You ready to go?" Jack asked. Kim nodded before they headed downstairs to the garage and got in the Jeep. Jack fired up the engine and pressed a button the remote that was in the overhead console and the garage door opened. Jack and Kim took off to the airport and loaded the Jeep onto the plane before taking off for Antarctica.
It was a long flight and Jack and Kim were sitting in the jump seats along the wall with Kim asleep against his shoulder, snoring softly. He felt bad knowing that he would have to wake her up. Strangely this time there was none of the usual of Kim Thanking someone for the lift and that was because this one was from one of Jacks connections. He may not have been well known but he still had contacts in the military due to his outstanding service. But right now Jack was hoping that they hadn't missed Drakken and Shego. As they got closer Jack could feel Brandi's presence so he knew that they hadn't missed them. But it had been so long since the tipoff that he wondered if it was Brandi who had tipped them off. Or on the other hand Drakken. Jack often got the impression that this was like a game to him.
"Ok, three minutes to drop off." The pilot called back. "Hey, Kim. Time to wake up" Jack said as he nudged her with his elbow. "Huh? What's happening?" Kim asked sleepally as she rubbed her left eye. "She looks so cute, all she needs is a blanky." Jack though with amusement. "Come on sleeping beauty, time to wake up." Jack said with slight amusement. Kim stretched as she yawned. "Alright." Kim said before fallowing Jack into the Jeep. A moment later the large cargo door began to open, letting in all the cold and snow. "Oh what the ffff…?" Kim shouted as she bit her lower lip, trying not to curse.
"30 seconds to jump." The pilot called back Jack started the engine as it roared to life and he gave it a few revs. "What the fuck!? Were not landing!?" Kim shouted in fear. "What's the matter Kim? We jump out of airplanes all the time." Jack said with great amusement. "But not in a car!" Kim shouted. "15 seconds to drop" Called the pilot.
The straps holding the Jeep in place released and it shifted forward. Kim let out a little scream as she scrambled for her seatbelt. "That's not going to help you if this fails Kim." Jack said with even greater amusement and a wild smile. "5 seconds!" The pilot called. Kim let out another small scream. Jack reved the engine a few times. "Go!" Shouted the pilot. Jack let out the clutch and floored it, spinning all four tires on the metal floor of the airplane as the Jeep shot forward. Kim screamed at the top of her lungs as the Jeep flew down the ramp than shot out into the nothingness of snowy sky.
"Oh what the fuck!? What the fuck!" Kim screamed as they fell from the sky. "Come on Kim, put your hands in the air." Jack said playfully as he put his hands up. "Fuck you!" Kim shouted as she tried to hold onto the dash while the Jeep fell from the sky. Jack pushed a putting on a device that was strapped to the dash and a large parachute deployed from on top the Jeep. Kim slowly started to relax as she hyperventilated. "I'm going to kill you if we survive this!" Shouted Kim. "No you're not." Jack said playfully.
As the Jeep drifted close to one of the slopes Jack pressed the other button that was on the device and the parachute released, letting them drop a few feet before the tires made contact with the fresh snow. As they began to drive along the slope Kim seemed to be back to normal as she was on the loo out for anything suspicious. Jack rolled down the windows and began to concentrate on Brandi's energy, she was just up ahead.
As they topped the hill they saw her. "Shego!" Shouted Kim. Jack turned his head to see her riding a red snowmobile, wearing her normal green and black jumpsuit, along with a green helmet, and a fashionable green jacket, which Jack thought looked amazing on her. "Hey, isn't that the jacket you wanted?" Jack asked Kim. "Yea." Kim said with a groan. Up ahead they could see the giant laser drill with lots of Drakken's helicopters swarming around it. Jack pulled the Jeep closer to Shego as they both went over a cliff than landed on the downhill slope below.
"Hey Kermit! Nice jacket Club banana?" Kim called smugly from the passenger window. "The very latest." Shego said proudly as she grabbed onto the jackets collar and showed it off. "Get a lifestyle Shego, green is the new black." Kim said smugly. "What does that even mean? She wears green and black, that's her thing!" Jack exclaimed with bewilderment as he tossed his hands up. "What does that mean?" Shego asked out loud in thought as she paced a hand on her chin.
Shego than dropped back and circled around to the other side of the Jeep. "Hey Jack! Race to the bottom?" Shego shouted. "You're on!" Jack replied as they both floored it. Kim crossed her arms and felt a little left out as well as a little stupid after the whole green and black thing. Jack and Shego raced down the slope side by side on their way to the giant laser drill. Shego had the advantage on the much lighter snowmobile as the Jeep fought for traction in the soft snow, but the power made up for the lack of traction and was able to keep the two side by side as they traveled well over 100 miles per hour down the slope.
They launched over another hill as Kim held on for dear life. Shego maneuvered the snowmobile under the Jeep midair and went to the other side as they landed. She then pulled in front as she went back around to Jack's side. As they neared the bottom of the hill it was clear that they were too late as Jack and Kim watched Drakken's helicopters begin to take off with the laser drill.
Jack then turned his attention back to Shego as she pulled a bomb out of her jacket. He noticed the timer said 30 seconds. "Well Jack, looks like you have a choice to make. Do you want me? Or do you want to stop the bomb from hitting the pipeline?" Shego asked with an evil cackle. Jack looked up ahead and saw the massive oil pipeline spanning across the hills on the horizon.
Shego cackled louder as she placed the bomb on the front of the snowmobile and leapt off, jumping onto the laser drill as it was hoisted away. Jack fallowed the ghost riding snowmobile off a cliff than when they landed Jack swerved to the left and sideswiped the snowmobile, running it over and crushing it down into the snow. As the Jeep neared the pipeline jack made a hard left as the bomb exploded, causing a giant avalanche. Jack floored it and rode on top the wave of the incoming snow until the avalanche was over with.
The pipeline may have now been under 30 feet of snow but it was still intact. Jack came to a stop as he rolled the windows up. "Let's have the heat on, I'm a little chilly." Jack said casually as he turned the heater up to max. Jack turned to see Kim holding on and shaking. He couldn't tell if she was shaking because she was scared or if she was just cold. "That grab handle is going to brake one of these days." Jack thought idly. "Well that's that." Jack said calmly ash he watched Drakken and Shego get away with the laser drill.
It wasn't till almost 3am that Jack got home. On the way he was surprised to sense Brandi's presence and when he pulled into the driveway, there was her grey Lancer parked right next to his black Rx7. Jack pulled into the garage then got out and went inside. Truth be told he was happy she was home. Heading upstairs to the bedroom he heard the shower running as a beautiful feminine voice was humming happily in the shower. He saw the bathroom door was cracked with steam rolling out the door.
Jack grabbed his pillow and blankets out from the trunk at the foot of the bed and placed them on the floor beside the bed. As he placed the blankets down he heard the water cut off then he turned to watch the door open with Brandi coming out in just a small white towel. "Hello Jack." She said in a warm and inviting voice as she smiled. Her eyes seemed to glow with happiness. The small white towel only spanned from just above her nipples to just below her womanhood. Her soft green skin was still wet and glistened, beckoned. Her long black hair was all ruffled and wet. Most men would have died just from the sight of the goddess in front of him.
Jack gulped a bit nervously as he looked at her. He felt a bit stupid. He knew no other woman could have such an effect on him. "Brandi… I know we haven't seen each other in a while, but could you please put some clothes on?" Jack asked softly. "We saw each other earlier today." Brandi said softly with a smile and a playful look in her eyes as she held onto her towel with her left hand and her right hand was against the bathroom doorway.
This was a bit of a strange situation and Jack didn't know what to make of it. Neither one of them was looking at the other with lust. Maybe wonder, but not lust. Brandi just seemed to be extremely comfortable around him, maybe a bit too much for Jack's comfort at this point. Brandi walked over and placed her arms around his neck as she placed her head against his chest. "I missed you." She said softly. "I missed you too." Jack said as he placed his arms around her back and kissed the top of her head.
After a moment Brandi pulled away and gave him a playful smile as she looked into his eyes. "I'll go change now. "Wouldn't want you to have a heart attack." She said in a warm playful tone. As Brandi pulled some pajamas out of the dresser and turned to walk back into the bathroom jack cleared his throat. "That's a pretty bold statement from someone who had to ask if I thought there were pretty." Said Jack. Brandi stopped and turned back to him "Maybe, but every man loves boobs. Tell me Jack, do you like it hairy?" Brandi asked in a warm and playful tone as she smirked playfully with half lidded eyes.
Jack turned bright red as his eyes widened at her question. Brandi just laughed as she went back into the bathroom and shut the door. "Were just friends. Were just friends." Jack told himself over and over again. After a few minutes the bathroom door opened and Jack heard the sound of a hair drier turn on. Jack stepped into the bathroom and saw Brandi drying her hair. She was wearing red plaid pajama pants and a black tee shirt that said Jeep on it in big red, white, and blue lettering across the front.
Jack looked around and noticed a few new things like a hairbrush and soaps, lotions, and perfumes near the sink as well as a few other feminine products. In the shower he also noticed woman's body wash and shampoos. "So where are your clothes?" Jack asked with curiosity. "I don't own many clothes actually. All I have you have already seen me wear. So I'll have to go shopping tomorrow." Brandi replied casually as she dried her hair. "Oh. So did you have fun today?" Jack asked nonchalantly as he placed his hands on his pockets.
Brandi turned the hair drier off and placed it near the sink as she turned to him. "Let's not talk about today, alright? I'm just Brandi right now." She asked quietly with pleading eyes. Even if Jack wanted to press the issue he couldn't with eyes like those. Jack had to look away. She may have been a beautiful woman but those eyes gripped him tighter than her body ever could. "Alright Brandi. I promise to never ask about your Shego work again." Jack said softly as he looked at the floor.
"Thank you Jack." Brandi said softly with a faint smile. Jack cleared his throat before looking at her again. "Let me brush your hair." He offered. Brandi smiled slyly as she handed him the brush. "What was that look?" Jack asked, taking the hairbrush as he got behind her and took her long black tresses in his other hand. "Oh, nothing." Brandi said slyly. Jack decided to let it go as he began to brush her soft black hair. It was so soft, and smelled amazing. Jack didn't know what it smelled of but it smelled good.
In the mirror Jack could see Brandi smiling brightly. He wished that he could make it so she never felt pain or hurt, or sadness ever again. But he knew that was a futile thought. Even if he managed to help mend her broken soul, he knew that pain and sadness was just a part of life. He was just glad that he was able to make her happy. And he would do anything in his power to make sure it stays that way.
After Jack was done brushing Brandi's hair he went to grab a change of clothes from the dresser before getting in the shower. "Good night Jack." Brandi said as she crawled into bed. "Good night Brandi." Jack said before getting in the shower. After his shower Jack came out to find Brandi sound asleep as he took his place on the floor. He watched her as he heard her snoring softly before he rolled over. As he looked up at the ceiling he couldn't help but wonder if he was starting to have feelings for her other than that of just friends. Jack decided that even if he was he refused to accept it at this time.
Jack woke up the next morning, he had gotten only a few hours of sleep but thanks to his time in the military he was used to running just fine on little to no sleep. Sitting up he noticed Brandi was no longer in bed. He then heard the sound of the smoke alarm going off and smelled the smell of burning food. Jack sighed with an amused smile before heading downstairs. In the kitchen he found Brandi fighting with the stove. "You stupid thing! Why won't you work right!?" Brandi yelled with a growl before shooting a bolt of green fire into the pan, vaporizing the pancakes she was trying to make.
Jack chuckled and Brandi turned around quickly with her hand still glowing and her teeth bared. Apon seeing him she quickly relaxed and extinguished her hand. "Oh, Jack. I must have been so upset that I didn't sense you coming." Said Brandi just a little embarrassed. "Trying to make breakfast I see." Jack said as he walked over. "Yea… It's just you have done so much for me, I wanted to repay the favor." Brandi said slightly timidly. Jack looked and saw that she made the batter right, she just didn't know how to work the stove to regulate the heat.
"Thanks Brandi but you don't have to repay me." Jack said before looking at the pan. It was ruined. "You know your such a pain some times." Brandi said with irritation. "How so?" Jack asked nonchalantly as he picked up the pan and threw it in the trash. "Always being so nice to me and giving me so many things. I just feel like I have nothing to contribute." Said Brandi with frustration. "Brandi you have no idea how much you have contributed. But give it time. We have only been friends for about a month." Jack said warmly.
Brandi blushed a bright green. She wasn't exactly sure what he meant but she figured he must really like having her around. "That's all? Gosh, it feels so much longer." Brandi said sheepishly as she tapped her finger tips together. "Yea, I know, it feels like a lifetime." Jack said as he stepped close to her. He thought she looked so cute right now. Brandi looked at him with a small blush. "Come on, how about we make breakfast together?" Jack asked with a warm smile. "O-ok" Brandi said timidly.
Jack got a fresh pan while Brandi made more batter. Jack watched her and saw that she was fallowing the directions on the back of the box. Once done she poured some batter into the pan. Jack stood behind her and watched closely as she cooked. He then placed a hand on each of hers and directed her on what to do. Brandi's whole face lit up a bright green as she felt Jack's hands on hers and his strong chest against her backside and his hot breath on the side of her face.
"He's touching me…" Brandi thought with excitement as she felt her breathing becoming heavy, and her body becoming warm. "The trick is to keep an eye on it and control the temperature" Jack said softly into her ear, seemingly unaware of the romantic and compromising position they were in. Brandi was glad he meant the temperature of the stove and not her temperature since she felt she had no control of that right now.
Brandi soon had wild fantasies running threw her head as she felt herself becoming hotter and her breathing becoming more labored. "No, you can't think of those things right now!" Brandi told herself as she blushed a wild green color. With Jack's help she made a perfect pancake and then he pulled away. "See, I think you got it now." Jack said proudly. "O-o ok…" Brandi said in a quiet, slightly squeaky voice.
Jack heard the tone in her voice and was a bit confused until he saw her face and then he realized what had happened. Jack cleared his throat as he blushed and took as step back, looking out the window. He felt stupid, he should have sensed what was happening, weather by their connection or by some other means. "So you got it from here?" Jack asked as normally as he could as he glanced at her.
"Yea, I think so. Thanks." Brandi said warmly with a timid smile. Jack went upstairs and took a quick shower. "So stupid" Jack thought as he washed himself. In truth Jack wasn't stupid. He knew that Brandi liked him even if he did his best to try to ignore the fact. If she hadn't she wouldn't do things like hug him half naked and she would have sliced him in half for touching her like that. Jack did his best to wash the thoughts from his mind before getting out the shower and changing into his work uniform.
When Jack came back downstairs he saw Brandi had breakfast waiting for him. She smiled proudly at him as he entered the room, making him blush. They ate breakfast in awkward silence. Or well, it was awkward for Jack. Brandi was actually quite happy, which only made it more awkward for Jack.
Brandi sensed how Jack was feeling and wanted to say something to ease his mind, but she didn't know what to say. She wasn't good with wards like he was. So for fear of making things worse she kept her mouth shut. After breakfast Jack rose from his seat and cleared his throat. "Thank you for breakfast Brandi." He said thankfully. "You're welcome. Thank you for teaching me. I'll clean up, so you go on to work now." Brandi said with a warm smile.
Jack began to walk out but stopped in the doorway and turned to her. "Brandi, I'm sorry for making things awkward when I was showing you how to cook. I hadn't realized what I was doing." Jack said as earnestly as he could with just a hint of shame. "D-don't be… I actually sort of, liked it…" Brandi said somewhat timidly as her face progressively grew greener. "I-I know… It's just…" Jack said sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head. "I know Jack, no kids till marriage." Brandi joked coolly. "Well… We got a long way to go before we get there… And a few things we need to work out." Jack said as honestly as he could.
"Let me guess, it's because I'm evil, isn't it?" Brandi asked with disappointment. "Stop saying that! You're not evil Brandi. You just make bad choices. Look I don't care what you have done, it's not too late to go back. Yea, maybe Shego will always be seen as evil, but you're not Shego. You're Brandi." Jack said with pleading voice. Brandi sighed and looked away. "Yea, I know you don't care. That's what makes you so great." Brandi said softly as she looked at the floor.
Jack let out a long sigh. "Look Brandi, you're a grown woman with your own choices to make. No matter what you do I will always be there for you and I will never leave you or give up on you. But we can't enter a relationship like this. We will just tear each other apart. And I will never let that happen." Jack told her earnestly. Brandi looked at him a moment before running to him and hugging him tightly. "Thank you Jack." Brandi said softly before pressing her face into his shoulder.
"I got to go now but I'll see you after work. You have a good day." Jack said warmly as they waved goodbye to each other. Brandi watched Jack walk out the door then heard his car start and take off .She knew she had some choices to make. She knew that she had feelings for Jack that went past just friends. She knew if she didn't she would never allow herself to be so weak in front of him. And for the first time in her life she had no fear of being betrayed. As much as she wanted to give up being evil if it meant she got everything she ever wanted, it wouldn't change the past. And she didn't want to hurt Jack. But she wouldn't let him go. She refused to. At this point she didn't know how she could live without him. She never really felt alive until now.
Jack said that he would always be there for her and never let her go. So finally Brandi decided to leave things the way they were. But who said she couldn't pretend? Brandi walked up the stairs to the bedroom and laid down on the bed. A few soft moans escaped her lips as she gently ran her hands along her body.
