After resolving my feeling towards Hedwig, I went to the training room that I had been using since I had arrived at Potter Manor. I started going through all the spells I had learned to compare the difference between my wandless magic and the magic with my new wand, the difference was staggering.

I started with the basic levitation spell, targeted at one of the practise dummies in the room. Not only had dummy levitated but so had everything else in the room. I gulped seeing all the objects levitating around me, I then cast a glance at the wand in my hand. I knew getting a wand was going to boost my power but this was absurd. I made a decision to find out more about this wand when I could, there had to be something very special about this wand.

I had one week before I had to leave for Hogwarts, so I made sure to spend everyday in the training room to get my power back under control. There was one very interesting that happened over the week. I was taking a break from spell casting and was mulling over the particularities of my wand when I started thinking about how much attention I would draw with such a unique looking wand and it adapted to my wishes as it transformed to look like a standard wand, although the intricate design of the wand stayed.

The day I had to leave for Hogwarts started off quite hilariously. The elves were very depressed when I came down for breakfast.

"What's wrong, why does you all look so depressed?" I asked them.

It was Tipsy who answered me desperately holding back tears "Master Harry, it's because we are sad to see you go. Even though you'll be back for the holidays, it still will be some time before we see you." I let out a gentle laugh at her response

"I'm touched you all care for me so much, but you don't have to be upset. Why don't you come with me to Hogwarts, weren't you all supposed to be working there anyway?" I asked them rhetorically.

All of us were quite taken back when Sebas face-palmed, he was usually the calmest and put together of all the elves. Seeing him lose his composure made all of us burst out laughing. The jubilant mood continued as the elves helped me finish packing. I then had Tipsy drop me off at the London train station and sent them to Hogwarts in advance. It had helped that not a single question had been raised about their disapperance from Hogwarts.

I could have had Tipsy drop me off at the Hogwarts platform but I wanted to experience going through the wall at least once. How many other times can you run right at a wall without breaking your face? I made sure to keep my scar covered with make-up so I wouldn't be recognized.

As I grew up, I realized I wasn't going to look like Daniel Radcliffe, I was actually looking like how I did in my old universe except a white version of me. Almost everything was the same except my skin colour and the colour of my eyes which were as green as the book described. Without the distinct scar, my eyes were the only thing that would give me away as Harry Potter as I didn't look like either James or Lily.

As I made my way to platform 9 & 3/4, I was feeling very excited. Despite knowing all the danger that was waiting for me from here on out, I was still looking forward to experiencing all the wonders of living in a world filled with magic. I had spent quite a few years cooped up in Potter Manor learning everything I could and now it was time to see if it was worth putting all that effort into it. I didn't see the Weasley family but that was probably because I was much earlier than canon Harry had been.

I made sure to arrive early primarily because I wanted to avoid meeting them. Through the books and the movies, I always thought that Dumbledore had the Weasley family ingratiate themselves with Harry as much as possible. I mean why would a wizard family need to use the muggle entrance. And even if there was only one entrance to Hogwarts station, you would think that Molly Weasley would remember the station number for a school she went to and has been sending every single one of her children to. In any case, I was going to make sure that nobody was manipulating me in any way.

When I got to the wall between platform 9 and 10, I sprinted right at it with no fear. I phased right through the wall and came out the other side on the Hogwarts platform. I was left a little underwhelmed as I expected to feel some soft of tingly sensation but it didn't feel like anything.

The platform was only partially busy as it was still early, so I was able to take in quite a bit of the station. It had the feel of a train station built in the early 20th century, giving credence to the fact that wizards had become frozen in time with regards to technology. I made my way into the station and found an empty compartment for myself. I levitated my suitcase on the shelf above with no effort at all, my wandless magic had also received a major boost after getting my wand. I pulled out a book I had kept on me to read as I waited for the train to depart.

The train departed about 45 minutes after I had found my compartment and we were about 2 hours into our journey. Ron Weasley had not showed up to my compartment furthering my belief that he purposefully looked for Harry's compartment in canon. Now that he didn't know how I looked, he probably didn't want to check every compartment without knowing who he is looking for. I was interrupted in my musing as I heard a knock on the door, did I speak to soon...?
