Cordelia's Real Father

Disclaimer: A little something I thought of and then had improved on by Aragorn II Elessar. Thanks for that! Takes place after season 1 of Angel and years before the events of Lucifer.

Summary: Cordelia's real father has learned of what Wolfram and Hart tried on her. And he's not too happy about it.

It was chaos in the offices of the Lawfirm known as Wolfram and Hart as one being with horribly burned skin and inhuman eyes displayed his displeasure to anyone unfortunate enough to cross his path with his wings out for everyone to see. This being is known as Lucifer Morningstar, the Lord of Hell, the Fallen Son, and with him for the fun was his long time bodyguard Mazikeen. A daughter of Lilith and one of his most fearsome Demons and someone who tended to share his bed. "Lucifer, what ever is the matter?" Asked Holland Manners with a frown on his face once the Lord of Hell made it to his office.

As the King wasn't one to normally rampage and generally let others do it for him. Not saying anything but snarling in anger, Lucifer stormed towards the man, ignoring Lilah and Lindsey completely in the process and grabbed the man by the neck and slammed him up against the wall. A warning from Maze kept Lilah and Lindsey from doing anything. "You and yours attacked my child!"

"We, we've done no, no such thing!" Coughed out Holland.

"Cordelia Chase is my daughter!" Snarled out Lucifer.

Causing quite a bit of surprise to go through the room in the process. "Oh Hell." Muttered Lilah as even Lindsey winced.

Having quickly been told by Lilah who the being was since he first thought it had been some red skinned Demon that was highly pissed off. "We… We weren't aware!"

"Well, now you are. And you'll never make a move against her again. Or those she works with here in LA. Is that understood? Or I will make my Father's Wrathful days look tame in comparison." Lucifer told him and then dropped Holland.

Letting him fall to the floor unceremoniously. "Even you know that such an action would be fool hardy considering the power of the Senior Partners. As it is, even if we were necessarily inclined to fully abide by your decree, the Vampire with a Soul is of particular interest to us. Ms. Chase's connection to the Powers That Be was merely one avenue we chose to exploit for our purposes."

The Lord of Hell snarled at the response, completely unafraid of the power of the so called 'Senior Partners'. "I do not fear your Masters, Human. Never have, never will. I will go to War if I must. Am I understood?"

And perhaps he needed to have a word with his Brothers that made up the Powers That Be as his daughter had no place being one of theirs. Sure, be part of the Ensouled One's path all she wants but not to that bloody extent! Holland nodded as he stood and rubbed his throat. "We will do nothing further to your daughter, but we will hold no responsibility if she is caught in the crossfire where Angel is concerned."

Maze shook her head at the audacity of the Human while Lucifer narrowed his inhuman eyes at the man. "As much as I wish to rip off your head, I'm afraid I have no choice but to accept the terms." He declared much to Maze's shock. For he knew pressing further would lead to a great deal of problems.

Problems he had no desire to deal with at the present time since they no doubt would involve his Father. Holland smiled in a victorious way despite the fact it would likely anger the Lord of Hell more than what he already is but he was self assured that he'd live another day. "I knew we could come to an agreement, My Lord."

"Indeed. Come, Mazikeen, we are done here."

"How the Hell did we miss their connection?" Wondered Lindsey after Lucifer and his Demon made their leave.

"A very good question. One I suggest we find an answer for quickly." Holland told him and Lilah.

Both of whom nodded in agreement and quickly left to go and see what they could find out. The three of them completely unaware of the fact that Lucifer was making his next visit to his daughter for the first time since her birth.
