Just a fun little idea, based on that bruise Legolas had on his at Amon Hen at first film's end.

I think it looked like a bruise, it was a bruise, right?

Either way, enjoy this.

Boromir had blown the Horn of Gondor and Aragorn had run off in the direction to help him out, with Legolas and Gimli still fighting more Uruk-Hai that were preventing them from following Aragorn and helping Boromir out in the fight.

But the Uruk-Hai were making a big mistake fighting warriors like these, because they outnumbered the Fellowship, yet so far only they had fallen.

Legolas released another arrow, felling another one as Gimli struck one in the feet, making it fall down, and then chopped off its head with his axe.

Legolas then fired two arrows at the same time at two Uruk-Hai running up to him side-by-side, and both were hit on their throats, dying immediately before Gimli struck another in the gut, killing that one as well.

Some of them came close to them as Legolas immediately switched to his fighting knives, slicing the throat of one of them with both his knives and then spinning, blocked the next one's blow and chopped off his head with Gimli chopping off one's hand, and killing it.

Legolas blocked another's blow and sliced its throat before dodging another one's strike, but as he straightened, he dodged the next one's punch a little too late as it hit his head, giving him a bruise.

Now Legolas glared in anger and trapping that Uruk-Hai's hand between his knives, chopped it off brutally, making it screech before Legolas spun one dagger and stabbed it through the mouth.

He then touched the bruise, looking humiliated. This was the first time after Bolg that anyone had managed to land a hit on him.

But at least no one had seen it with Bolg, this time, there was a Dwarf who had just witnessed it, and he was never going to let it go.

"I thought you said you never get touched in a fight", Gimli said and started laughing as Legolas turned to glare at him. "You have a bruise, pointy-ear."

Legolas' glare only made Gimli laugh harder as Legolas raised a finger. "Not a word."

With that, he felled another Uruk-Hai and rushed further, Gimli laughing behind him as he took another one down.

Legolas knew he would be teased for this for the rest of his immortal life by the Dwarf, so he better find an embarrassing situation to put his friend in really soon.
