Something I got from Aragorn II Elessar's Miss Kitty crack fics.

Buffy, Dawn, Willow and Tara were eating breakfast, when they all heard clanging as they looked above.
"What was that?" Willow asked.
"You all heard that, right?" Dawn asked as everyone looked puzzled.
The clanging noises followed the walls and then beneath their feet.
"Is that a ghost?" Tara asked.
"I think we should check it out." Buffy said.
They went downstairs to the basement, turning on the lights.
"If it's a ghost, we'll deal with you." Buffy said.
"And if it's a demon, we got weapons." Dawn said, holding an axe in her hand.
The clanging continued as some things started to shake and they heard squealing and paled as from some of the junk stored in the basement emerged a raccoon and it looked angry as the girls all looked horrified. Even though they could deal with demons and vampires and other supernatural threats, the ferocious glare the raccoon was giving them while hissing was unnerving to say the least.
"No… sudden… moves…" Willow said slowly as they all tried to move as slowly as possible.
The raccoon suddenly let out a loud hissing sound and looked angry as the girls screamed.
"Dawn, get out of here!" Buffy ordered.
Dawn ran upstairs as the raccoon jumped at them but Buffy knocked it away with her broom.
Tara and Willow tried to use a spell but the raccoon was too fast for them to finish the incantation as they had to dodge and jump away as the raccoon followed Dawn upstairs.
"Help!" Dawn screamed as the raccoon started to chase her.
In the garden, Miss Kitty Fantastico was walking down the garden, where in the middle was a crossbow lying on the ground and around the same time, Dawn was running to the garden and panting out, with the hissing raccoon giving chase and Miss Kitty stepped on the trigger and the crossbow fired a bolt, hitting the raccoon in the leg as the raccoon screamed and stopped running.
Dawn turned around to see the raccoon moaning in pain and lying on the ground and Miss Kitty at the crossbow, staring in bewilderment. Did that cat just save her life by stepping on a crossbow?
"Dawnie, are you OK?" Willow asked.
"Yeah. Yeah." Dawn said, panting out, still a little in shock as Tara stared at the raccoon lying on the ground.
"How'd that raccoon—"
"Wait, is that my crossbow?" Buffy asked as they noticed Miss Kitty standing over it and Buffy let out an 'awww'. "Did you shoot that bad raccoon before it would maim my sister?" She picked Miss Kitty up, petting it as Tara was also about to.
"Uh, guys, maybe we should bag that raccoon and lock it in a cage and then call animal control first." Dawn reminded.
Few moments later, the raccoon was locked in a cage and carried into an animal shelter while the girls spent the rest of the morning fawning over Miss Kitty.
Miss Kitty the hero of the Summers residence, *chuckles*
