Greece. I really, really want to go there, but I haven't had the chance yet. I've heard good things about the food, the weather, the culture…everything that would make for a fun trip. I'm not too shocked Chris got the information about it being Rome, because the Romans copied a lot of Greek things – the architecture, not to mention most if not all of their gods being basically copies of the Greek gods with different names. There you go – that's the fun fact for Greece! Oh, and here's a few more – it's one of the most sunny places in the world, it's the third biggest olive producer and it's mostly mountains (like 80%). Being in First Class with Team Chris was tense after all Noah had said. You couldn't cut through it.

I ended up being a bit louder and more cheerful than usual, just to try and combat all the bad feeling in the air. Luckily, Duncan, although cross to be forced back into the game, didn't seem to mind hanging out with me and I told him some of the stuff that had happened since he left..

"So did you really go around the world?" I asked him. "Someone thought they saw you in Texas, and someone else thought you were in Italy."

Duncan laughed. "Yeah, I hitched a plane ride to a few places. Those were both on the list. What happened? I wasn't that recognizable."

"Yeah, but you tripped that random person in Italy. You're disguised, but your personality kind of shone through there. And how many green mohawks are you seeing in any place? That was a dead giveaway, especially with your face shape."

"Should've known people were watching for me." Duncan muttered. "Apparently Chris has been trying to find me ever since I quit."

I frowned. "Why would Chrissy want you back? I don't think he cares that much about you."

"Something about contract breach, legal problems…who cares?" Duncan just shrugged. "Maybe he should've thought of that before I quit. Anyway, I'm not here to cause more drama. I'm just going to stay for the million dollars and so I don't owe him any extra time for skipping out."

I had to smile. "And if it doesn't cause any drama, maybe we could hang out sometimes when I'm not hosting?"

"Maybe." Duncan said, a small smile starting to form. "I have to admit, it'll be great to see you actually trying to host."

I shoved him. "Trying, huh? I'll have you know that everyone likes me better as host. Chrissy keeps calling me a junior co-host, but I think that's because he's jealous that the contestants think I'm a better host. If there's a fourth season, maybe the producers will ask me to host on my own."

"Dream on." Duncan laughed uproariously. Then he paused. "But if the producers ever did ask you to come back and host, it could be fun." He paused for a moment, then added "So, is there anything you're allowed to tell me about what's coming up?"

I shook my head. "Sorry, professional rules, I'm not allowed. Besides, Chrissy's hosting the next location, and he won't tell me locations he's hosting. I'll know after this one where I'm hosting next, but I don't know yet. It's pretty random – we've used a ton of gas, considering we keep going back and forth. We've passed over the Atlantic at least three times, since we've been to like three countries in Europe, gone back to Canada twice and other parts of North America also twice, not to mention South America. And of course there was also the trip to Japan, which meant we had to go clear across Asia after Egypt and then straight back where we'd come from."

"Sounds boring. Pretty glad I missed half the season." Duncan remarked, faking a yawn. "So, can you at least tell me what the deal is with the new guy? I saw you staring at him."

I shrugged. "I'm not allowed to say too much about what I know from confessionals and I don't want to get fired for telling you who you can and can't trust and you'll figure it out anyway if I know you – but I had a crush on him early in the season. We've agreed to just be friends, though. I don't know if it'll work out." I didn't say it out loud, but I sort of agreed with Noah on Alejandro being slippery. I didn't quite trust him, but if he wanted to show himself up as the villain, he could pay the price. I didn't see how his acts would apply to me."

It didn't take long for Chris to call us to the common area. He wanted to recreate the Olympics, but apparently someone told him it was in Rome. It took me, Gwen and Alejandro telling him it was in Athens before he dropped the intern out of the plane, ordered another to find information on Greece and then went to tell Chef we had to head east instead of west.

"Prepare yourselves for battle!" Sierra declared to Team Chris.

"Child's play." Alejandro scoffed. "There's no way us athletes will lose to a team with no men."

Cody gave a dejected sigh and Sierra folded her arms, glaring.

Heather was bolder. "Hope you look good in silver," she teased Alejandro directly. "I'm great in gold."

"I'll be happy to lend you one of ours," he returned pleasantly, "Since we'll have all of them."

I caught Gwen's eye and mouthed Can you believe those two? She looked just as amused as I felt. I was starting to get the feeling there was something more than bitter rivalry. Maybe that was why I'd decided that my flirting with Alejandro wasn't going to get anywhere. But then, Alejandro had flirted with me in a different way. Maybe the teasing was just what he thought Heather would respond to?

Even though we'd apparently gone the wrong way across Europe to get to Italy, we weren't actually that far from Greece, and it was still a short flight considering we didn't swap continents between episodes this time. Soon, we were standing among ruins in Athens.

Since we were recreating the Olympics, the challenges were all going to be one-on-ones. Pretty fair, since with Bridgette on Team Amazon, they were even with Team Chris. In fact, Bridgette volunteered for the first challenge, which was looking for treasure attached to a 'boar" (actually a bear with tusks attached). Duncan also volunteered. I knew for a fact they didn't like each other very much (guess pacifists and delinquents don't mix), and Chris made me stay and watch them, not only to check things out, but he'd also said that Duncan would have to sing if he wanted to say anything until we were back on the plane to make up for all the songs he missed. If he didn't sing when he spoke, Chef would hit him with a towel. Even an "Ow" had to be melodic.

I got the story from everyone else about the next part. There was some kind of battle with no rules. Tyler and Owen went for Sierra and Cody. In the end, Sierra strangled Owen with her legs for belting Cody out of the ring at the start, and once Tyler had punched Cody out, Sierra threw herself on him, too. So that was one medal for each – Team Chris for winning against Cody, and Team Amazon for Sierra's win against both guys.

Duncan won the treasure hunt. Bridgette was a bit too careful in her motions to get the treasure off the bear without hurting it, and Duncan barrelled in before her.

The next challenge was going to be Heather vs Alejandro on hurdles. Heather looked smug, putting one leg behind her head. "Sorry, but I'm fast and flexible."

In reply, Alejandro did the splits, tied his hair into a ponytail with his feet, and then stood up again. No hands.

He was a tiny bit ahead for most of the race. "Don't worry!" he called to Heather. "You can borrow my medal if you ever need to look like a winner!"

Heather pushed herself harder. Alejandro turned himself over and walked on his hands for a couple of hurdles.

"Dude, come on!" Owen called, obviously worried that was slowing him down. "Come on!"

Alejandro turned himself the right way up. "Relax, my friends!" he called, looking back at his team. "Victory is at hand-" And then he smashed into the last hurdle while Heather just cleared it.

The girls started yelling and cheering as Heather won, tying up the points.

There was one last challenge to break the tie, and it looked like Noah and Gwen would have to do it, as neither of them had competed before.

It was kind of simple. They both had to dress up in "Spartan" costumes with wings and use them to get up to the last medal. Wouldn't you know it, Gwen managed to flap her wings just a tiny bit faster and got up there before Noah, securing Team Amazon's win.

I didn't even need to slip into Loser Class that night to know that Noah was the one going home. His loss, combined with all he'd said about Alejandro in London, was enough to send him packing, and everyone knew it, including him.

I stayed in First Class for the whole time. While I did try to keep an eye on Sierra as usual, I mostly stayed with Gwen and Bridgette. They'd been friends back on the first season despite being on opposite teams, and seemed pleased to be competing together for the first time. We chatted together about the show, and places we thought we might go to for the second half of the competition.

"We haven't been to Africa yet." Gwen said analytically. "I'm betting we'll go there before the season's over."

"And probably somewhere in Asia." Bridgette added. "We've only been to Japan so far. Chances are we'll get to go somewhere else. It IS the biggest continent, after all. I'd like to visit another island area, though. Somewhere like Jamaica. Like Hawaii or New Zealand."

"I just want to go to places I know stuff about," I admitted. "Japan was cool, because I could talk about that without asking the producers to feed me all the cue cards I needed. Like maybe somewhere else in America?"

Yeah, like somewhere I knew stuff about. Not in the middle of nowhere.

Kind of channelling myself there. I'm not American, but I do know a thing or two about American geography and things. Want me to talk about Louisiana jazz, Las Vegas gourmet and the flatness of Iowa? I've never been to any of them, but I know a bit about them. Seriously, I've seen photos and you can see for miles in the middle of Iowa. But we're headed to Nevada next, so…yeah, it's not Vegas.
