I don't own Rising of the Shield hero nor Arknights

"So... red, do you know where I can find a place to purchase some weapons, small things like throwing knives?" Naofumi asked Myne, as he pulled out his bottle of Vicodin.

"I know just the place." Myne responded, with a smile on her face.

"So... this is the place?" Naofumi asked Myne as they stood in front of a blacksmith shop if the sign was anything to go by.

"Yeah. they also do make quality armor to." Myne told him.

"I will hold on that, and let's go and get our equipment." Naofumi said as he walked into the shop.

"Greetings." Came the voice of a man.

He was tall with with a well-built body, notably face and arms, full of old scars. He has a shaved head, Amish-style beard without a moustache, brown or black eyes, and partially darker skin. He wears an off-white undershirt with medium-length sleeves beneath a beige overalls-like forger apron hung only by the left shoulder, black gloves, dark brown pants, and brown-beige upturned boots.

The for a moment he stopped when he looked at Naofumi.

"Is there a problem?" Naofumi asked the man.

"No, it's nothing, though... It's not everyday I see a demi-human passing by the city." The Blacksmith said.

"Well, may I have your name?" Asked Naofumi.

"Name's Erhard, your's?" The blacksmith introduced himself.

"Naofumi, just a simple Warrior of Fortune." Naofumi responded with a friendly tone.

"You do have the looks of a Warrior that's for sure, anyways, look around whatever you want to buy. We have the best quality swords and Armor." Erhard said in a boastful tone, indicating a sense of pride in his work.

"Alright." Naofumi said with a small chuckle, recalling Margaret 's sister Maria with the Operator name Blemishine, that girl really loved to stick around the Workshop.

"You know... Red I think you'll need an armor upgrade, that leather armor isn't going to be much of any use." Naofumi told Myne as he started looking around for something that may be of use.

Then as Naofumi looked around he noticed a longsword, and felt an odd wave of nostalgia washing over him, as he recalled the times that he would fight with a sword before being relegated to being a support caster.

"Wanna try it, if it suits you?" Erhard asked Naofumi, who turned and looked at the man.

"If you say so." Naofumi said as he walked up and picked up the blade, but suddenly felt a surge of electricity washing over him.

"What the...!" Naofumi Exclaimed as he dropped the sword, and noticed a red screen appearing in front of him.

The shield hero cannot carry any weapons outside of the shield class, and the Focus will deal 30% less damage than normal.

Naofumi read the warning.

"Well... this is quite bothersome, but if the reduced power of the focus means making less damage would that mean if I don't use either the gloves, cane, or my Oriparhy infection, would it spread quicker or slower?" Noafumi wondered to himself.

"What just happened?" Erhard asked Naofumi, who turned to face the blacksmith.

"Nothing special big guy, just a little warning from the shield, that I can't carry any weapons other than what I have in my person." Naofumi told him.

"Warning from the Shield... You are the Shield Hero aren't you?" Erhard asked Naofumi, who scratched his head.

"Yup, took you a while." Naofumi commented.

"Well, there are plenty of people that carry shield, and most of them are start-up adventurers." Erhard told Naofumi, who simply chuckled recalling the times he had seen some overly cautious mercs carrying different types of shields around when they start out.

"Shield hero, how do I look?" Came Myne's voice as she walked out of the test room with her new steel armor on, which Noafumi looked at it with less than impressed face, as it seemed to have a similar pattern to the leather armor Myne wore, but more ornate, and a gem in the middle of it.

"How much?" Noafumi asked Erhard.

"60 Silver, for the whole set." Erhard told him.

"Well... red you heard him cough up the money, as I am strapped of cash." Naofumi told her, causing Myne to look at him with a mildly offended look, which Noafumi returned with a look which basically said that he wasn't in the mood for complaints.

"Fine." Myne said as she pulled out the sum to pay for the armor she was wearing.

"Pleasure doing business with you." Erhard said with a smile on his face, and satisfied with the transaction.

"By the way, if you have any request or job, please just call me, as I said earlier, I am a bit strapped on them." Naofumi requested.

"Sure I will inform you, if something that requires your help comes up." Erhard said.

"Thank you." Noafumi said, as he and Myne leave the store.
