Disclaimer: I do not own J.R.R. Tolkien's Legendarium, Arrowverse or anything else you may recognize

Well, my Hobbit/Arrowverse crossover is never gonna happen, since its Hobbit/Buffyverse (infinitely superior to Arrowverse, not even a comparison there) now, but here's a consolation one-shot still.

Arrowverse is just dead now, screw it, let it rot. The last time it was any good was the 2016-17 Season.

Anyway, this thought had popped into my mind when the 'Morons of Tomorrow' went to visit Tolkien in Season 2.

Now obviously, I wasn't a fanfiction writer back then, and overtime I forgot about it, but now I remember it again.

So here's a one-shot where the Fellowship of the Ring does the morons' job for them.

Been ages since I saw Season 2 (And I have no desire to see any Arrowverse Season again for a long time, not even Arrow Seasons 1, 2 and 5 and Flash Seasons 1 and 2, which I actually love and they are the only really good Arrowverse Seasons), so my memory isn't accurate.

Hope all enjoy.

Gandalf sat on a rock, smoking a pipe as he considered their next move. Frodo's ultimate decision had been to go through the Mines of Moria, so that is where they would go.

They would reach by the next day. Gandalf just hoped they did not meet the creature of shadow and flame that Saruman had taunted him about.

He then stood up and turned around, only to see a red blur of lightning which stopped in front of him, now revealed to be a man instead.

"You move quite fast, you must be Eobard Thawne from the Legion of Doom I was warned about", Gandalf said in realization, drawing Glamdring as Thawne smirked.

"Where is your piece of the Spear, Wizard?" Thawne asked, vibrating his hand. "I can kill you before you chant a spell."

A man called Rip Hunter, who had come from the future, had time-traveled to the past and given Gandalf a piece of the Spear to keep safe from the Legion of Doom, and Rip had warned Gandalf about their capabilities as well.

Gandalf had hidden it in his staff, though when Saruman had stopped him from leaving Orthanc, Gandalf had discreetly passed it on from his staff to his robes, since he did not want Saruman getting his hands on that.

Then, after getting a new staff in Rivendell, he had hidden the piece in that instead.

"I shall never tell you, Thawne", Gandalf said firmly, tapping his staff, which, unbeknownst to Thawne, formed an invisible barrier of magic to protect him.

"Well then, time to suffer, Wizard", Thawne smirked as he sped at Gandalf, only for the invisible barrier to knock him back and send him rolling onto the ground.

"A trick, huh?" Thawne grunted, getting up as Damien and Malcolm now stepped behind him. "It still will not last long."

"Give it to us and we will give you an easy death", Damien taunted as he moved forward, now between Thawne and Malcolm, who had nocked an arrow.

"Where is it?" Malcolm asked.

Gandalf smirked as he noticed Legolas climbing a rock discreetly, unseen to the Legion, and then leaping from his hiding place, Legolas kicked Damien from behind, sending him to the ground as Legolas used Damien to slide on the ground, badly wounding his face, and before Thawne even knew what was going on, Legolas leapt off the wounded Damien and kicked Thawne on the back, sending him sprawling again, and then fired an arrow to deflect Malcolm's before swiftly firing another, getting the Dark Archer in the throat as he died, choking.

Damien was trying to stand up when Aragorn arrived, driving his sword through the man's back and into his heart, killing him at last.

Before Thawne could get up, Gandalf slammed his staff on both of his feet, making him scream in pain, and then Gimli was there as Thawne rolled over, still moaning.

"Bring your pretty face to my ax", Gimli snarled before lifting his ax and bringing it down on his face, ending the mad speedster once and for all.

"Who are these?" Aragorn then asked.

"Asides from the quest we are on, I have another task as well, which is not related to the quest, so I must keep it to myself, I hope you can understand, my friends", Gandalf requested and they nodded, realizing it was really important. "These three came here to take something important I had, but now they are gone so I feel we won't be threatened for this any longer."

"Let us go from here then, quickly", Legolas suggested and all nodded, walking off, leaving the dead Legion behind.

Later

Sara, Mick, Rip and Ray examined the bodies of the Legion.

"Wow! Never thought they would be killed by people in a medieval time period", Sara commented.

"Well, people can surprise", Ray shrugged.

"So, can we go then?" Mick grumbled. "Our job has been done for us."

"I knew handing the piece of the spear to a Wizard was a good idea", Rip muttered to himself, realizing this threat was done for now.

And done. Never mess with Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas or Gimli.

Hope all enjoyed and see you all next time with another update.
