A/N: Hello everyone, I am back with chapter thirty-three of this story. Here, Ash talks with his friends while Delia entertains our trio.

The rest of the day passed by with relative ease. The next day, Ash and Pikachu both quickly sequestered themselves in the former's bedroom. Delia managed to rope J,J&M into helping her.
"So, what are doing?" asked James.
I need to do some gardening work." answered Delia.
The three went outside. Delia and Jessie began pruning her flowers with Jessie in a chair. Meowth watered and James put pesticide down.
"Be careful. I am pregnant." noted Jessie.
"I know." replied James.
Jessie felt water on her foot.
"Watch out Meowth!" snapped Delia.
"Sorry." replied Meowth.
"Jessie, are you okay?" asked Delia.
"Just hormones." answered Jessie
"I've been there." replied Delia.
Jessie took a moment.
"Why are you helping us?" asked Jessie.
"It's the right thing to do." answered Delia.
Jessie took a moment to consider her authenticity.
"No problem." replied Delia.
Delia sighed.
"I just wish Ash felt the same." confessed Delia.
"Look, you raised a great son." said Jessie.
Even James and Meowth were surprised by this.
"We've never seen eye to eye before, but he always wanted to stop us." noted Jessie.
"True. He wouldn't let us get away with whatever we we're trying." agreed James.
"Plus, he helped us too. Like, we when teamed up to stop that Lawrence III guy." added Meowth.
"That's good to hear." sighed Delia.
The mailman came by on his bike dropping mail in the mailbox which Mimey collected.
"I swear this place is such a throwback." mused James.
"Pallet Town has always maintained its small-town feel." said Delia.
"It is a small town." noted Meowth.
"That is true." realized Delia.
"It reminds me of where I grew up." said Jessie nostalgic.
"Man, I'd have killed to grow up like this." agreed James.
"You could move here." proposed Delia.
"The twe-Ash could help us." said Meowth.
"No offense, but I don't want to be in his debt." stated Jessie.
"Jessie..." began James.
"Let me guess, I need to check my ego." guessed Jessie.
James and Meowth shared worried glances.
"You know where I loved?" asked Meowth.
"Where?" asked James.
"Alola." answered Meowth.
"That was great." agreed James.
"Yeah." concurred Jessie.
"I hope Mareanie is okay." said James.
"I feel the same with Mimikyu." said Jessie.
"Trust me, nobody is going to mess with them thanks to Beware." replied Meowth.
"That's true." said James.
Jessie was looking at the sky.
"Are you okay?" asked James concerned.
Jessie shook her head.
"I'm worried." answered Jessie.
"Everything will work out." replied Delia.
Meanwhile, Ash and Pikachu got ready. Ash had sent emails to his friends the night prior. Ash sat at his laptop and Pikachu jumped onto his shoulders. Ash logged in and waited. Soon, his friends began to come on one by one. After a while, all of them were there for the impromptu meeting.
"Hey Ash." said Misty.
"Hello." said Brock.
"Hey there." said May.
"Nice to see you." said Dawn.
"Hey there kid." teased Iris.
"Really Iris?" asked Ash.
"I am the former Unova Champion." noted Iris.
"Who beat you for that title?" asked Ash smirking.
"You got lucky." replied Iris joking.
Finally, the last person arrived.
"Sorry I'm late." said Serena.
"You did miss anything." revealed Misty.
"Oh good." sighed Serena.
"Serena, I saw your performance in Lumoise City last week. You were great." said May.
"Yeah. You've got to tell us where you got those clothes for your Pokemon." agreed Dawn.
"Thanks, but I've got two top Coordinators to learn from." said Serena.
"What about the rest of you?" asked Ash.
"Training with Lance is great!" declared Iris.
"If you want to be a Dragon trainer, you gotta learn from the best." shrugged Ash.
"Same with Misty training with Lorelei." said Brock.
"It's so wonderful." cooed Misty dreamily.
"Maybe you'll get into the Elite Four." mused Ash.
"You know it!" declared Misty.
"What about you Dr. Brock?" asked May.
"I'm traveling around treating Pokemon." answered Brock.
"Where are you now?" asked Dawn.
"I'm in Mossgreen Village learning herbal medicine from Cassandra." answered Brock.
"That's cool." replied Misty.
"Her grandmother passed away so she and Parasect run their business." revealed Brock.
"So, what's up?" asked Iris.
"You sounded urgent." noted Serena worried.
"It's like this..." began Ash.
Ash explained the situation to them.
"So...can we trust them?" asked Ash.
Everyone else took a moment to take this in.
"I say no." answered Misty.
"Yeah, there's no way we can trust them." agreed May.
"Totally. They've got to be up to something." agreed Iris.
"Now hold on, if they're not lying then we need to help them." replied Brock.
"But we need to figure out if they're lying." noted Dawn.
"How do we do that?" asked Serena.
"I have no idea." answered Ash.
"Don't forget that time Meowth lied and followed us briefly." said Iris.
"What?" asked Misty surprised.
"Yeah. He pretended to having a falling out with Jessie and James so he let us join us." answered Ash.
"But the whole thing was a trap." added Iris.
"Then forget helping them!" declared Dawn.
"Yeah. They've already tried those once." noted Serena.
"But they might not be faking." said Brock.
"Do you really believe them?" asked May surprised.
"There's a strong chance they are." answered Brock.
"Exactly!" declared Misty.
"But there's a chance they aren't." said Brock.
"You can't be serious." replied Dawn surprised.
"Look, there is a possibility." shrugged Brock.
"The only thing crazier than the story is them getting help from Annie and Oakley." huffed Misty.
"I don't know who they are." noted Serena.
"They worked for Team Rocket and we had to stop them." said Ash.
Brock let out a hum.
"Someone has an idea." mused May.
"What if we can confirm their story." proposed Brock.
"A pregnancy test could confirm if she's pregnant." said Dawn.
"She could be pregnant and lying about the rest." said Iris.
"We could confirm other aspects of the story." said Brock.
"Like how?" asked Ash confused.
Brock pulled up his browser.
"A web search might help." answered Brock.
Brock typed into the search engine.
"I doubt this will work." muttered Ash.
Brock froze up.
"You guys want to hear this..." began Brock.
Ash raised his eyebrow in surprise.
"Police found the bodies of two people in Fuchsia City. It's Butch and Cassidy." revealed Brock.
"Who's Butch?" asked Ash confused.
"Cassidy's partner." answered Brock.
"I thought it was Bill." noted Misty.
"I thought it was Biff." said May.
"I thought it was Bud." said Dawn.
"I could have sworn it was Bob." mused Ash.
"Maybe we should focus." muttered Pikachu.
"They were shot. Butch was shot at close range in the heart while Cassidy was shot at close range in the head." explained Brock.
"Do you think those three killed them?" asked May.
"They're bad, but not murderers." answered Ash.
"They noted Domino was chasing them." stated Misty.
"I wouldn't put it past her." shrugged Brock.
Brock kept scrolling.
"I found an article about a fake bomb at Fuchsia Zoo." said Brock.
"Just like they said." noted Serena.
Brock continued to scroll.
"They said they stayed with a women called Gertrude in Crimson City." said Brock.
"So?" asked Ash.
"She was found bludgeoned to death in her home." said Brock.
Ash gulped unnerved.
"Her granddaughter is Jeannette Fischer." revealed Brock.
"Who?" asked Iris.
"I beat her in the Indigo League." answered Ash.
"Well, this verifies several aspects of their story." said Brock.
"But, does that mean anything?" asked Iris.
"They could have read these stories online too." added Misty.
"She's got a point." mused May.
"I'm kind of changing sides." confessed Dawn.
"So am I." agreed Serena.
"Are you nuts?" asked Misty surprised.
"The fact these happened gives support to their claim." answered Dawn.
"My mom seemed to believe them." said Ash.
"Your mom is a good judge of character." mused Misty.
"I guess so..." said Ash.
Ash let out a sigh.
"I don't know." groaned Ash.
"It's up to you." noted Brock.
"That doesn't help." muttered Ash.
"I know forgiveness is hard. I had an incredible hard time forgiving my parents." said Brock.
"Mr. and Mrs. Deadbeat." said Misty.
Brock shrugged unable to deny this.
"How did you do it?" asked Serena.
"It took a lot of time." answered Brock.
Ash nodded his head.
"I've made up my mind." said Ash.
Ash told his friends and ended the call. He went downstairs were his mother, Jessie, James and Meowth were.
"Hello honey." said Delia.
"I'm going to help you..." began Ash.
Jessie, James and Meowth squealed in joy.
"But, under one condition." revealed Ash.
A/N: So, that's where we'll end things for now. There are the other of Ash's friends cameoing and this will be their only appearances. So, Ash has agreed to help, but what is his one condition? Next time, we find out. Please review.
