Author has written 13 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, and Prince of Tennis. It occurred to me the other day that I have no profile! So here's one now! My name's not really Fae, it's Staehli. And yes, I am a girl. I just turned sixteen, I'm a junior in high school, and I live in the beautiful Pacific NW. Beautiful as it is, it's BLOODY COLD AND WET. ALL THE TIME. I'm a native Texan, got the cute accent and everythin', and I hate the cold. Seriously. My town is rather small, the only huge feature of which being a papermill. This means that our mascot is the Papermakers. Woo. How exciting. One of my main obsessions of late is acting. I'm taking my school's Acting Workshop class, which is a more in-depth look into the world of theatre. Last year we focused on Stanislausky, a Russian playwright. This year we will study a variety of techniques by different people. If you'd be so kind as to look at the stories listed below, you'll see that all of them are written for Fullmetal Alchemist. That's because I'm simply in love with that show! Obviously, I like RoyEd fics. (A note to all fellowEdRussell shippers as well: WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU PEOPLE?) I recently began an FMANarnia crossover fic, and I'm kinda surprised to see that I'm the only one so far. (thinks) HA! I have an original idea! I think... (A side note for those of you who care: JOIN THE RISEMBOOL RANGERS! RED DAAAAAAAAWWWWWN!) Forgive me if my updates are slow; right now it's lack of inpiration and AP Language, and the year after that... THE WORLD! So, um, yeah... --The Girl Who Calls Herself Fae Elric Urgent news, everyone! I gave Kara (NeoDiji) a challenge to write something that had a Freudian slip in it as part of an Equivalent Exchange between us. GO READ AND REVIEW. NOW. Please? http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2754587/6/ So now I make the challenge public: to write a fic (RoyEd, of course) that contains at least one Freudian slip... or to write one that involves Latin dancing. (Seriously, I heard "Hips Don't Lie" earlier, and I got this image of Ed and Roy dancing and I can't get it out of my head... so somebody please write it!) "An actor has to learn anew to see one, not just pretend to see; to hear and not just pretend to listen, that he has to talk to his fellow actors and not just read to lines, that he has to think and to feel." --Stanislausky "I reject your reality and substitute my own." --Adam Savage "True knowledge lies in knowing that you know nothing." --Socrates "Be what you wish to seem." --Stanislausky "I think I am, therefore, I am. I think." --George Carlin "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who don't matter mind, and those who matter don't mind." --Dr. Seuss "Don't be dramatic in real situations, be real in dramatic situations." --Stanislausky (?) "See the orange." --Rob Kankleberg "Only two good things came out of the 80's: 'The Goonies' and me!" --Matt Thogerson "Every time you talk to me with that headlamp and that backpack, I just think of 'The Goonies'." --Jason, Head Investigator of TAPS "I'm gonna be more pissed if you don't tell me and I find you... your ass is never gonna see the top of this ship again..." Jason, Head Investigator of TAPS (While searching the SS North Carolina, he and Grant kept hearing a lot of spooky things down in the bowels of the ship and they thought it waas somebody's idea of a joke.) "This is not 'stop talking'. This is 'shut up God's gonna smite you'." --"Linus", a guy from my Acting Workshop class Anthony: So, is this "I want to die"? Sensei: No, this is, "Please die". (We were conjugating the verb for die (shinimasu) into the TE form (shinde). Japanese is so much fun.) "We need retractable trees." --Nee-san (Nee-san and I were trying to watch the Perseid meteor shower, but the stupid trees in our yard were blocking the view.) "I blame the panda!" (That's what I'm going to say from now on. I'm going to blame the stupid panda that was sitting on Al's shoulder while Ed was getting out of the shower. It's all her fault that I lost the epiphany I had for my Great Gatsby essay, IT'S ALL HER FAULT! DAMN YOU, XIAO MEI!) "Dude, it's like crack for my eyes."-- I was talking to my parents about the FMA books I had bought and this slipped out somehow... |
