I wanted to try Dean/Faith, so I hope I did a good job here. For the background, the Winchester brothers and the Summers sisters are old friends, who had met before in 'The Slayer, the Hunter and Baba Yaga'
Disclaimer: I do not own Buffyverse or Supernatural.
Dean grunted as he fell to the ground, when a vampire approached him.
"Son of a bitch." Dean muttered before he got up and dodged, when the vampire rushed at him but Dean picked a machete and cut the vampire's head off as he turned into dust. "Well, Hellmouth's vampires are almost as tough as our classical, but the dusting's ridiculous."
"Blame Stoker and Dracula!"
Dean turned to see two women, one of them a blonde and another one a dark-haired one as they had wooden stakes in their hands and exchanging blows with vampires and working in sync before Faith dodged and Buffy ducked, both women turning around and staking the vampires in their hearts as they turned into dust.
"Was that the last one?" Dean asked.
"I think so." Faith said.
"Nice moves." Dean said, turning to Faith.
"You're not so bad yourself." Faith shrugged.
Later, Dean, Sam, Buffy, Dawn and Faith were in a nearby bar as they talked.
"…and then Baba Yaga slid down the floor as I pulled her ring out and Dean junked her Precious with his gun and then, kaboom. Game over." Buffy said.
"I'd take vampires over ghosts any day." Faith said.
"Ah, with most of them you need to just find their remains, bones or stuff they're tethered too and then burn it all." Sam said.
"The ghosts we've got in Sunnydale and L.A. are quite different and not all of them are too bad." Buffy shrugged.
"So, who wants to take their chances on the stage now?" The manager said, while on stage with the mic, behind him a country music band.
"Oh, I'll go. Who wants to join?" Dean said, turning to everyone else.
"My singing sucks." Sam said.
"We've never heard Faith sing, have we?" Dawn reminded, turning to Faith, who blushed mildly.
"Well, I don't know, guys—" Faith started hesitantly as Buffy, Dawn and Sam smirked.
"Come on, it'll be fun!" Dean said, grabbing Faith by her hand and dragging her on stage.
"Oh, who would've guessed, Dean again! And with a girlfriend this time!" The manager said.
"I'm not… friend, yeah, but—" Faith started, when the country music started and familiar tunes rang out as the guitarists and pianists started playing and Faith couldn't help herself but shake a little to the rhythm, while Dean grabbed the mic.
"Big wheels keep on turnin'
Carry me home to see my kin"
He turned the mic to Faith, who looked nervous but sang anyway.
"Singin' songs about the south-land
I miss Alabamy once again and I think it's a sin, yes"
"Yeah!" Buffy and Dawn cheered, while they and Sam applauded.
"Well I heard Mr Young sing about her (Southern man)
Well, I heard ol' Neil put her down
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
A Southern man don't need him around, anyhow" Dean sang before Faith joined in, singing in harmony.
"Sweet home Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet home Alabama
Lord, I'm coming home to you"
"Is it usual for Faith to party that much?" Sam asked as he drove with Buffy and Dawn back to the bunker as both Summers sisters laughed.
"If you knew Faith, you wouldn't be asking that question." Dawn said.
"I wonder if…" Buffy trailed off as the idea was dawning onto them.
"If Faith's anything like Dean, I'm sure they will." Sam said.
"Though she's not gonna do anything to him like with Xander, right?" Dawn asked worriedly as they all looked at each other.
"Even if she did, Dean has had to deal with worse than her, they'll be fine." Sam assured.
"In places like these, it's easy to forget what you've been through and what you've done, right?" Dean said as he and Faith drank at the bar.
"Yeah. Does it ever haunt you, what you've done? Killing Sam's ex behind his back, or the things you did as a demon for example?" Faith asked.
"Even if I regretted it, dwelling on it won't help. I've owned up to and faced my mistakes already. All I can do is do my best to move on. For you it was easier to run, I guess, huh?" Dean asked as Faith looked briefly ashamed. "C'mon, Buffy told me everything about Finch, Wilkins and Angel. Everyone screws up and makes lousy decisions. What matters is how you live with it and whether you own up to your own crap."
"Yeah. That's what Angel said." Faith acknowledged as she turned to Dean. "But you had your brother. Buffy tried but I didn't listen. Angel tried harder than anyone."
"But it still haunts you, right?" Dean asked as the pained look in her eyes told him everything he needed to know.
"Not anymore. Or at least not as often as it used to." Faith admitted, turning to Dean. "I guess owning up to my mistakes and my time in prison, with Angel and Buffy trying helped me."
"Better to lose everything with someone you love, then win and be alone in the world." Dean said as they turned to each other, starting to relate before the bartender poured them both drinks.
Both Dean and Faith groaned as they both felt splitting headaches. They had been hungover before, but this time, well, they couldn't really complain as they felt the heat of each other's bodies on the other, with their clothes scattered on the floor and the bedsheets covering them but then they noticed that the back legs of the bed gave, with the bed tilted down to the floor.
"Whoa. Did we go that rough?" Faith asked as Dean got up from the bed, putting on his pants, while Faith wrapped the sheets around to cover her breasts.
"No broken bones. But I do have some bruises." Dean said, while checking his body.
"Was it during the fight or was it me?" Faith asked.
"Honestly, I don't wanna know." Dean said as they smiled at each other. "I guess this is as far as it goes, huh?"
"Look, Dean, I like you and you're a nice guy but… settling down in a bunker isn't my thing and besides, the Slayers need me and Buffy." Faith said.
"I get it. But that doesn't mean it has to end today, right?" Dean asked as they smiled before Faith pulled him in for a kiss.
Sam, Buffy and Dawn were eating breakfast, when Dean, in his robe and Faith in her pajamas entered as they noticed the smirks on their faces before Sam, Buffy and Dawn smirked as it hit them as Sam snickered quietly and Buffy and Dawn stifled their giggles.
While Dean made two bowls of cereals for himself and Faith, Buffy grinned, not helping herself anymore. "So… Dean, did Faith go too rough or—"
Dean suddenly spat out milk and Faith choked on her bite as she blushed, coughing out her food.
"Buffy!" Dean snapped, glaring. "You seriously think we'd actually go that far?"
Faith's cheeks turned into shades of red and pink. "No! I mean, we had a good night but we have our limits."
"But you were considering—" Dawn started with a smirk, when Sam cleared his throat and Dawn frowned upon noticing Dean's glare and Dawn could feel herself shrink as the phrase 'if looks could kill' came to mind. She turned to Buffy and Sam, who shot her looks and shook their heads, making it clear it would be unwise to agitate and tease Dean and Faith any further.
After the breakfast was finished and the girls left the bunker, Sam smiled at Dean.
"What?" Dean asked before noticing the smirk on his brother's face.
"Same old Dean." Sam said.
"Bitch." Dean muttered, chuckling.
"Jerk." Sam said, smiling. Trademark exchange of Winchester brothers.
Buffy, Faith and Dawn were approaching the car, when Buffy and Dawn smirked, turning to Faith, who noticed the grins on their faces as they stopped.
"What?" Faith asked.
"So, Faith…" Buffy started.
"If Dean was possessed by a demon and as strong as the Slayers, would you—" Dawn said, when Faith dropped her duffel bag and Buffy and Dawn started to run off, laughing.
"OK, now you'll get it!" Faith yelled as Buffy and Dawn laughed, with Faith after both Summers sisters, who were laughing.
Dean/Faith could probably work better than Dean/Buffy. Dean and Faith they share a lot more similarities and they both had gone down dark paths and were on a road to finding themselves again and their personalities are more similar than Dean's and Buffy's, with their sometimes loose attitude and inner struggle.
